[Part 1 of 8] [David] [00:00] issued $8 billion worth of digital credit this year. And the most successful IPO of the year was stretch, its STRC, it was $2 and a half billion. I couldn't have done any of it without AI. If if we had not had AI, we would be $8 billion less. We five IPOs, none of them would have happened because I used the AI to design the securities and solve all the tax problems and all the securities law issues. You know, so I like I'm a big believer in using AI to design new things. And I look, I'm just I I focus upon digital credit and security, but there's someone there thinking about how to make the car drive and cure cancer and like like aren't there like a hundred million problems a human race has to solve that we that you're like, well, you're going to need a thousand people with PhD to solve that. Well, guess what? Now every 16-year-old has a thousand PhDs at their fingertips. And so I'm very bullish. The world's going to be a much better place and and we're going to see an age of empowerment and and abundance because of the digital technology. [Caller] [01:10] People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. Not really. I mean, people who buy gold are trying to preserve. [David] [01:16] centuries. We have centuries of people being greedy to go ahead and acquire gold. [Caller] [01:21] Well, no, well, you're talking about to acquire wealth. Yes, people are greedy in that they want they want more things and there's nothing wrong with that. But when they're converting what they've earned into gold, that's not the greedy part. That's the preservation part. I I I've I've earned all this money because I was greedy. Now I don't want to lose it. I want to store it so I can use it later. I don't want to blow it all right now. I want to hold on to it. And, you know, gold is a way to do that. You can't really do that in a fiat currency that's just being printed, you know, into oblivion. So, uh, but but but, you know, the the greed is in the speculative frenzy that accompanies Bitcoin. [David] [02:04] They tell me that I'm the reason they own Bitcoin because they listened to me years ago about economics, about sound money and and and the Fed and inflation. And I'm the one that got them. Plus there's a lot of technology in Midnight that's going to make the use of Cardano safer. Like Midnight passport will be the fastest, safest and easiest way to use Cardano. So we gain all the usability and chance to use it. Plus I argue Midnight is an essential component for Bitcoin. That Bitcoin. When you look at that side of it, you're like, okay, Bitcoin users, they want privacy. So Cardano could do a lot of the heavy lifting on the programming side, but where does the private coordination layer exist for all that? So we're actually working on with program our Bitcoin DFI setup, what we call it the the circle. So you start with Bitcoin and tap root. I'm going to put 50 Bitcoins of my own money into this just for you to work. But you start with tap root and uh Bitcoin, you lend it to stable coins. So that'll cross Cardano through a specialized transaction through the bridge. And then that stable coin will then be deployed into a yield bearing instrument. And then as you make the yield, the yield is converted to Bitcoin and then it's sent to your tap root. And then Midnight coordinates all of it with privacy. So you have like all three networks working together and you have this circle and then for the Bitcoin users perspective, you just give them a button to make money. Click the button. And then it locks their Bitcoin, they just start generating a yield. The security actually is tap root on the Bitcoin network. So it meets my three rules that I have for Bitcoin DFI. One, there's only Bitcoin. No other. [Caller] [03:37] Bitcoin, Litecoin is better money than than fiat, obviously. It's also better money than gold. Like I think it's I believe it's the best form of money that um humans have ever come across. Right? Money being good, being that it's um it's inflation proof, right? No one, no single person, company or like government can print more money, right? Can print money and then save the way the money you're holding, uh, you're storing, right? That's kind of one of the key things about money is if you work hard and you make money, you don't want that money to kind of disappear over time, not from your own doing. Right? So that's that's key in Bitcoin, Litecoin and uh most cryptocurrencies, um, is able to to do that. [David] [04:24] I could have the argument that real estate's better than Bitcoin. For a number of reasons, by the way, depending on who you are. Um, your audience could probably disagree because they're probably a bunch of, you know, Bitcoin maximalists that don't have as much Bitcoin as the real estate guy, by the way. [Caller] [04:41] No, I I'll tell you right now. Hold on one second. See, that's the funny thing, dude, that me and my brother were talking about this yesterday. You know, the guys that know the most seem to have the least. [David] [04:53] 100%. That that I can probably agree with you on. I think it should be a bigger issue within the crypto system and the ecosystem. What do you think? [Caller] [05:02] I think it will be. I think privacy is going to be the the new if you want to in my view, and this is what I'm tasking the investment professionals at Mailstrom to sort of figure out. I think that the stand out shitcoin or, you know, Q shitcoins of 2026 to 2028 will be related some way shape or form to privacy. We already saw the, you know, amazing move of Zcash over the last few months. Yes, it's down 300% from the 780 high, but I think again, my goal is, you know, my mental model is 10 to 20% of the value of Bitcoin. That's where Zcash comes up. So much higher than where it is today. But, you know, taking away Zcash, what is the token project or protocol that's going to utilize some privacy technology, probably something related to ZK or knowledge proofs to do something whether that's quantum resistant, you know, the overload can't deanonymize your data or, you know, see what we're doing, whatever it is, right? These are the things that we're latently afraid of of of what bad things that could happen with this proliferation of Big Tech, Big government and [David] [06:11] Donald Trump getting elected, knowing that we share friends in the White House for all the populist parties of Europe who are under attack. Every single populist leader. If you look at the leaders, and my last documentary was called Silence. I spent 18 months in prison for my last documentary. The reason I aired it was because the documentary was so bigger than me. It's exactly what they're doing to us. There has been waged against if you go through, I'll pick any of them. Geert Wilders, the leader of the Dutch party, Marine Le Pen, any politician in Europe, yeah? Anyone, pick anyone who has stood up and tried to speak against immigration, and you will see a history. Matteo Salvini, I was with him two days ago, the deputy Prime Minister of of Italy, was prosecuted in 2020. They said he kidnapped because he stopped the boat. He was prosecuted in 2021. He was in charge of a crime. The process is the punishment. Every political leader who tried to step up was charged. You saw it done to Bannon. You saw it done to Stone. You saw it done to Trump. That's happening across the board. They're of the totalitarian state. But I think it's because you elected Trump. I'm very optimistic about the future. He's not because they're not in control. They're going to assimilate. The public already, the public is awake. [Caller] [07:29] So the other thing about it too is that a lot of people have shown interest in the project, you know, it's going to have a mutual impact in the 2026 election. And certain races that were absolutely going to be lost are still in play because the dollar is coming in. And it keeps things like the Cardano alive, which has been changed a lot. I've had many conversations to try to get it into a better shape and hopefully September 15th, they'll actually be able to get it up and live. They have a lot of pop in here for that, which is the Roman, the Roman principles of justice and applications and all that stuff. I don't think anybody realizes what works on it. I talked to Charles, I said, is it terrible? He said, you know, we worked on this three times longer than Obama worked on this. And that we have a response to 2008 financial crisis. [David] [08:14] tax and we need to get crypto and our industry out of these partisan debates, out of these partisan issues. It's really not healthy to treat any technology as some kind of political pawn. This isn't about Republicans, this isn't about Democrats. This is about freedom. This is about getting people access to their assets online. It's about allowing them to share that globally without an intermediary. This is about the power of self-innovation. This is about the future of finance. This isn't about red versus blue. We need to get out of that. [Caller] [08:47] been very negative on Bitcoin and crypto, like even public statements calling it rat poison 2.0 or pet rocks or, you know, name your name your funny meme. Now these same institutions have now understood that this is not a fad. This is here to stay and oh, we need to get a piece of the pie as well because that's what. [David] [09:08] If I had a genie and three wishes and I could make gold better, my first wish would be shrink the supply to 21 million coins and make it illegal to make it more. And my second wish would be make it invisible and teleportable and indestructible. And let me carry as much gold, you know, in my pocket as I possibly can. And my third wish would be make a program on gold so a billion AIs can teleport it and transform it a million times a minute, so that I can put it on a, you know, a billion computers and and have it have it get traded back and forth 37,000 times while I'm sleeping, right? And I would think digital gold as I just described it, it's got to be better and more valuable than physical gold and especially in the 21st century when you're looking at 10 billion computers and 10 billion AIs and 10 billion mobile devices and, you know, you never teleporting an ounce of gold on an iPhone. So I just think it's digital gold. It's got to be 10X to 100X better than gold. [David] [11:57] What first got you excited about blockchains? Think about it. Oh wait. I bet it wasn't multi-million dollar hacks, exposed data, or finding somewhere safe to store your seed phrase. Was it? Maybe it was the idea of decentralizing a broken financial system. Maybe it was imagining a world where people own their own data and get to sharing the value it creates. Or maybe it was a promise of a fundamentally better way of connecting, communicating and transacting. The next phase of the internet that empowers us instead of exploiting us. So why hasn't it happened yet? Why are we still living with the same broken system that blockchains promised to fix? It's because blockchains can't keep a secret. Enabling open transparent systems was only the first half of the challenge. For blockchains to really change the world, they also have to be able to protect our sensitive data when it matters. And that's why we build Midnight to bring down the final barrier to mass adoption and unlock the full potential of the decentralized web. Let's build the internet we deserve. Together. [David] [14:01] This is Houston. T minus one minute until full data blackout. All eyes are on you. Breaking news. There is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. We have a second angle on this. Is that guy in FOMO? Yeah, just like me for crazy. Yeah, let's get back to it everybody. Opportunity cost is simply this. Every position you take is a position you choose not to take anything else. This just in. According to the astronaut's FOMO account, highest in the room, the satellite has been restored. For now, the crisis appears to be over. Satellite's up and running. Positions looking good too. [David] [15:47] There we go. United States of America representing. Socialism does not work. Digital assets is it better to move money at the speed of light. That's right. Even though we stream on X and we stream on TikTok, and I hope Restream somehow connects TikTok, the comment section where everybody can go ahead and have a conversation. Also, I hope that they can connect YouTube. I just like all the streams because everybody has their own particular favorite. People like to comment on X, people like to comment on YouTube, TikTok, Kick, Getter, Truth. So I I hope that they can do this integration where everybody can see each other talk, no matter what platform they're on, because it would make it actually, it would make it a really good experience. It would. It would. Welcome to the show. It is Monday. We have Grant Cardone. I will be speaking to at 1:00 p.m., 1:05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Me and him are going to chop it up and I'm going to go listen, it's unfiltered. I'm going to ask him questions. He won't have to answer them too. He can plead the fifth, but he's somebody I think who'll answer. And we'll go through everything. We'll go through Bitcoin, we'll go through real estate, we'll go through entrepreneurship. We'll talk about 10X. This won't this will be one hell of an interesting program. They ain't nobody. And you know this. They ain't nobody that do it like I do it. No matter what. No matter what you want to say. They ain't nobody that can do it like I do it. That's what she said. Obviously, a lot to talk about. We got a lot to talk about. We got the markets to go ahead and dive into. What's happening in the markets, the crypto markets. A lot of people are looking into my comments about the memes. There's a lot of articles that are being written about me talking about the memes could be potentially dead. A lot of people have reached out to me for a quote about why am I saying that the meme economy is dead. I don't think a lot of people are listening to when I talk about memes. The meme economy is suffering right now because you're not actually going into the memes with lore to them. You have forgotten what memes actually are and now you are stuck, and I've said this multiple times on multiple shows. We are in an era where the 15-year-old Fortnite kids are rotating out of whatever these things are called because they're not memes, but they're rotating out of them after 10 to 14, 15, 16 minutes. And they're onto the next one. There is no holding. Nobody believes in holding. Okay? And and then you have a problem of the saturation of of memes and tokens in the crypto space. See, you can't do that with utility tokens. You can't just create utility tokens. You have to have people that understand how to build a protocol, build a blockchain, understand what 0101 means, smart contracts, solidity. I can name them all. ZK, cross chains, bridges. You you need people who understand that lingo. That's why I'm bullish on utility plays and I'm down on the memes or whatever this is called, which are because now we have I mean, six months ago I was talking about we had 95,000 launch pads. We're up to 250,000 launch pads because we need a launch pad for a launch pad for a launch pad to launch a token on a launch pad. We're now all over the place. And you have people just getting out of their favorite memes. Their convictions are gone. Some have PTSD from last cycle, which was horrible. Unless you were a Bitcoiner, then it wasn't because that was an institutional run on Bitcoin. Everything else did not run. Memes didn't really run. All coins did nothing. Except seven or eight of them. All you had last cycle was a Bitcoin run. And everybody bet that and now they're still holding.
[Part 2 of 8] [00:00] They're still holding. [00:03] And a lot of people have the mindset of, [00:07] I'm not going to hold. [00:11] Even though this run will be different from the last run. This run now has clarity from the SEC and the CFTC. This run now has institutional money pouring in. [00:23] This is a different type of run. This run also might have an an an injection [00:31] of money that is handed off to retail. Similar to what we had in 2021. [00:40] This could be the greatest bull cycle that crypto has ever seen. [00:48] Now, people will say, David, hold on. We also had a stimulus package via rates being low. [00:56] Again, anything can happen. [01:01] Depending on if the war ends in Iran, [01:07] Trump sends out checks to every American that goes out and votes for a Republican in the midterms. [01:16] Rates start slowly coming down. [01:19] We don't know what happens. [01:22] We absolutely do not know what will happen. [01:26] But here's what I have to say about the memes. [01:32] Memes don't look good right now. [01:35] And I know some people will watch this show right now or are watching this show live right now. And they are saying, what is he talking about? [01:46] We're not talking about Dogecoin. We're not talking about Shiba Inu. We're not talking about Pepe or Bobo. We're not talking about some of the dankest memes that we have in this space. [01:58] Memes are lore. We don't talk about no more. [02:03] We talk about things that are launched off of a launchpad by 14-year-old kids. [02:10] That are rinsing every single person here. 99, and the stats confirm this, 99% of people trading right now in a market that is not liquid, [02:26] are getting absolutely destroyed. [02:32] When people tell me they are participating in the meme economy, I ask them, what memes are you talking about? [02:39] Name me one. [02:42] They can't name me a meme. [02:45] Or the names that they provide me with are not memes. [02:50] They have no history, they have no lore. [02:53] They were just created from a grocery store. [02:56] Said person went into a grocery store, saw a vegetable [03:03] slouching over into or onto a carton of milk, and they came up with an Inu. [03:11] What we have here, folks, [03:14] is not a meme economy. [03:18] What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, is something that's absolutely destructive. [03:25] And we are in the ninth inning. [03:30] And you have all these big-time names, I guess, because you guys made them big, you guys gave them the platform. They're talking about, you don't hold no more, you trade. You trade 15, 20 minutes rotation. That's what they're talking about. They're not talking about conviction or believing in anything. [03:50] They're talking about rotation and not holding. [03:57] They're also calling themselves sex symbols. [03:59] Now, I have every right to call myself a sex symbol. [04:05] It's not only me who says that. [04:09] Men, women across America and internationally call me this. [04:15] Now you have, now you have people with platforms calling themselves [04:22] international sex symbols. [04:25] And they are telling you, these very people are telling you, rotate. [04:32] They're not telling you to hold. [04:35] They're telling you to unload and chase while they get in early. [04:44] And you get in afterwards, and they leave before you, and you become a community member of a scratch-off ticket. It's not a meme, it's a scratch-off ticket. You and the other six people [04:59] become community members, and now you can sing Kumbaya, my Lord, Kumbaya. Kumbaya, my Lord, Kumbaya, 'cause that's all you're going to be doing. [05:11] And that shit is never coming back. [05:18] That shit is dead. [05:22] better chance right now walking into a casino, absolutely drunk. And that's not what I'm encouraging, I'm just saying. You can walk into a casino right now and have an absolute better shot at winning at a blackjack table or even at craps. [05:41] Maybe not even going into a casino. Maybe you just go, [05:47] take a trip down to Brooklyn, South Brooklyn, and play some Celo, 'cause you would have a better chance, the odds are better for you to play 4, 5, 6, throw them dice, [06:00] than they are to go into any of this shit that is being peddled to you right now. [06:07] And a lot of you are even going to the next level with this dog shit that you claim to call a meme. You are now making your PFPs into these things that you're going into. Meanwhile, your favorite influencer or KOL has absolutely left. [06:26] And here you are like a jackass, [06:29] rocking a PFP [06:33] that nobody no longer respects or thinks about. [06:39] Must be fun to be by yourself. [06:41] That must be fun for you to be, you and along with six or seven other people in a Telegram, [06:51] hitting those stickies or stickers, whatever sticker packs, [06:57] saying, let's fucking go. All six, seven of you retweeting people's tweets. And and the sad part is that you're not seen because your tweets go straight into spam or your account gets suspended. [07:13] You know, they have AA [07:17] for people who are trying to recover from drinking, right? Well, they should have something for crypto. [07:28] Something for people that are chasing dog shit. They they should absolutely have something like that. [07:35] Where all you guys can sit down in the same room, and not be in a Telegram room, but you can sit down in the same room, and you can have a conversation about how you lost your ass or added new assholes to your body. [07:49] After experiencing a ride of your life, chasing dog shit before the bull market has even started. [07:59] And no matter how many times an individual like me can come on here and look into this camera and speak into this microphone and tell you, stop chasing, stop doing this, you're about to run off the cliff with no parachute. No, no, no. [08:15] I'm still going to do it. [08:18] I see something in it. What do you see? I don't know. I see something. [08:24] No problem, it's your money. [08:29] It is your money. [08:31] And if you want to give your away, if you want to give away your money to people that are already driving Lamborghinis and Ferraris, [08:43] ZR1 Xs, [08:47] go for it. McLaren, you want to give it away to these individuals? No problem. [08:58] No problem. [09:01] That's on you. You can't blame anybody else. [09:04] Because there's enough value in this space. [09:08] There are some shows where you can tune into them and learn something. [09:15] And what you need to learn is how to adjust how to adjust in an environment. [09:21] This environment. [09:24] I've had friends call me up, and they've asked me, what should I do? And I said, listen, you know what I've done? [09:30] I've solidified my positions in the majors and utility plays. [09:37] So if I want to go ahead and play in this dog shit of a lottery scratch-off ticket thing, whatever this thing is, [09:48] then I can go do it. And I'm not worried. [09:56] Some of you guys are out here with not a single Bitcoin to your name, no Ethereum, no Solana, no nothing. [10:05] You don't have a a goddamn thing, not a goddamn major in your name. You don't have anything in the traditional markets. You don't own land. [10:13] What you actually owe is back pay on your rent and on your utility bills. [10:22] And here you are chasing dog shit. Now, I understand desperation. [10:28] You're desperate for a win. You were stuck in a bear market. You see all these people, they're at events, events that I've declined. They're at events. [10:38] They're chilling, they're drinking. They're they're pulling up in limousines. [10:46] They're getting they they they're sitting down with notable names. You're thinking, oh shit, this could be me. Let me take the chance. You're listening to their tweets or you're reading them. You're like, oh shit, I I have a chance if I can read chain. [11:00] If I can read things on chain. [11:04] You don't even know how to prompt something on goddamn Grok. You don't know how to prompt something on Chat GPT. You don't know how to use Anthropic's products, and you think you can read on chain? You can't read a book. You couldn't read a kindergarten book with a pop-up display in it. [11:27] And here you are sitting thinking that you can read on chain. [11:33] You can't even read. [11:36] Some of you guys can't even read. [11:42] Have you seen the thesis that have been written out [11:46] on FOMO? Some people write great thesis on why they think something could pop off. And others [11:54] absolutely write dog shit. [12:04] These are the people that you follow. [12:07] You are who you follow, you are who you surround yourself with. So you have nobody to blame but yourself. [12:18] Nobody to blame but yourself. [12:25] And right now, you have people waiting. [12:28] Because Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America has come out and said, if you vote Republican in the upcoming midterm, [12:39] you are essentially qualifying yourself to get $5,000, a $5,000 check sent to you [12:48] for voting for Donald Trump's Republican MAGA party. [12:53] And you have people, I'm sure, that are going to go out there who are not affiliated to any party, that are going to vote for that check. [13:02] Now, are people going to take that $5,000 and buy Bitcoin? I don't know. [13:06] But will that money go flowing into the economy? Absolutely. And with a good, prospering economy, what will happen with the markets? Up. [13:25] And now a lot of people are saying, how dare Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America, he's bribing the American people with a $5,000 check. It is no different than what the Democrats. [13:41] The Democrats do it silently. Trump is doing it out in the open. They they both one side how they do it, the other side keeps it a secret. [13:50] That's just the difference. That's politics. [13:54] That's politics, ladies and gentlemen, and that's how it works. [13:59] For those who might be blown away, that's how it works. [14:04] No surprises. Zero. [14:08] There are no surprises. [14:11] Okay? [14:13] Politicians here are trying to win you over. [14:17] And that's bottom line. [14:19] They'll do they'll do everything possible to win you over. [14:26] Don't get me wrong on this also. [14:31] There have been a lot of air quote memes that have come out that have been paired with things like SpaceX and Tesla. [14:43] And Bitcoin. [14:46] Which I like that. I like that memes and the OG memes, [14:53] things that have been put on chain can be paired to legitimate assets. I think that works. [15:00] I think that 100% works. [15:05] That takes memes to the next level. But there's two things that are going to happen. [15:09] And I'm going to make the prediction now. [15:14] If if the community does not rise up and if the leaders do not come together, those who have been here through multiple cycles, if [15:24] we do not come together and change the current environment, [15:29] the memes will die. [15:32] You will have in just like the what will remain here will be a complete [15:40] absolute lottery. [15:44] It will be like the OTB betting on horses. It will be like scratch-off tickets. It will be you [15:53] standing at your local convenience store playing numbers. That's it. Bingo. [16:00] And even with bingo, you have a better chance. [16:10] If that does not happen, the only way the memes will actually do anything, [16:17] and this is what I said last week is when you have legitimate companies like a SpaceX, [16:27] like a Tesla, [16:30] whatever. [16:32] Them using the memes to go ahead and promote their companies. [16:36] And that's the only way that these memes will continue to exist. [16:42] And maybe it just comes down to 10 to 20 memes in general and then that that are legitimate and that have legitimate shots to go to billions. [16:51] The rest, dead. Maybe the stuff that I'm holding and you're holding, dead. [16:57] But that's only because you got a bunch of people that are lazy to step up and do something. They're waiting for somebody else to do something. They're not willing to do something. [17:06] That's the problem. [17:09] That is the problem that we have. [17:12] That needs to change. [17:16] Ladies and gentlemen, that needs to change immediately. [17:24] Immediately. [17:31] And that's why I'll bring it right back to you guys. [17:35] There's a reason why, there's a reason why [17:41] I started flipping, started flipping more liquidity into the majors. [17:49] I was on here before others, [17:55] and I said Solana. [17:59] I said Solana at a very early point. I said, I'm going to put my chips all in on Solana. [18:05] If you were here watching, you saw it. You can replay the show. Solana was in the [18:14] early, early stages of recovery from the the whole FTX bullshit. [18:20] I said, I'm going to bet on this. [18:23] Because it has the potential to do more Xs, and I've continued to say that. [18:31] I'm going to say something that's going to make people fall off their chairs, their couches, their seats. [18:39] For the younger generation, [18:43] for the younger generation, the the young cats, the 15-year-olds, the 20-year-olds, the 25-year-olds, who believe that they missed out on Bitcoin. When you you haven't missed out on Bitcoin, by the way. [18:54] You can still buy fractions of a Bitcoin. [19:02] But to them, they feel like they've missed Bitcoin. [19:06] So Solana is their version of Bitcoin. [19:12] And you can jump all you want right now. You can say, fuck, David, what is he talking about? He's lost his No, I haven't. [19:21] To them, Solana is their new Bitcoin. [19:26] Whether you like Solana or not, it doesn't matter. A lot of people don't like Bitcoin. A lot of people don't like Ethereum. A lot of people don't like anything. A lot of people don't like themselves. At the end of the day, people choose, the market chooses what they like. [19:45] And the younger generation feels like Bitcoin's too expensive, not realizing the value that Bitcoin has, so they like Solana. [19:55] And then you have the Xs, and a lot of people are here for the gains. So you have that. [20:06] So if you are not adjusting, and this is where I say, no matter what market we're in, no matter what cycle, no matter what era we're in, if you know how to locate [20:19] the trends, if you know how to study and research, [20:24] you can participate and win in any market. Doesn't matter if the Fortnite little shits, okay, the little shits that are running this little casino right now, and these little plants that are being paid off by V. It doesn't matter, okay? It doesn't matter. If you know how to trade, [20:42] then you can work this in any environment. I'm what I talked about earlier in this show was what I want to see come back and that is the real meme culture that we're accustomed to, the real crypto culture that we're accustomed to. That's what I'm talking about. [21:00] But there's reality too. I can hope and pray. [21:05] But my my my my prayers can go unanswered. So you need to adjust [21:12] on the fly and you know what? This is a cycle or this is a space right now, where you have to make adjustments [21:19] within minutes. It used to be I can wait months. I can't wait months. You got to adjust accordingly. [21:27] Now, if community comes together, if a real community comes together, and everybody rallies together, there's more of us than there are of them. And them who are the plants who set or are setting these metas for you. [21:49] Notice how they're trying to fit the part. Who's been dressing up in the suit for a really long time? It's been me. [21:57] Your boy's been dressing up in the suit for a really long time. [22:02] This weekend, I've I had the opportunity to sit back and try to understand even more so exactly what the game plan is here that they're trying to go ahead and push. I kind of understand it now, so now I'm going to push. [22:20] But again, you get you need more than just one person. [22:24] It can't just be me. I look, I I'm out here all day, every day. I'm willing to go ahead and be on the front lines. I will be on the front lines. But [22:36] it's not up to just one person. It got to be a whole damn community that is tired of getting their asses whoop. That's why the movement that I keep talking about is it it is essential. It is important. [22:53] I know, I know what kind of hands I have, diamond hands. You know what? I used to absolutely obliterate people that would say diamond hands and we're going to make it. You know what? [23:07] Bring it back. Let's run it back. I want the diamond hands. I want the we are going to make it, even though not everybody's going to make it. I want that culture back. [23:17] At least you had people who believed in something. [23:22] Now we have people who believe in nothing. [23:26] Crypto is not for gambling. [23:29] Crypto is a new system of owning your money. [23:36] That's what crypto is. Bitcoin was meant for you to own your money, to understand the value of money. It was not made for you to ultimately have participation in this dog shit that is happening. [23:54] That's not why Satoshi Nakamoto made crypto. [24:01] This is not why people have dedicated their entire lives [24:08] to building out the infrastructure for crypto. [24:12] This is not why people have dedicated their lives to build out Ethereum, Cardano, Solana. We can name it all out. [24:24] People have dedicated their lives to go ahead and change our lives and to allow Main Street, which is you who is watching this show today, or who will replay it or who will listen to it on Apple Podcast and Spotify, to allow you the opportunity to win in life. [24:49] Short-term, yes, there will be pain as everybody rallies towards the cause of bringing back crypto and its culture. Yes, for a month or two, there could be pain. But ultimately, when you are working out, I'm going to give you a simple analogy. When you go work out, when I go work out, [25:13] there is pain in that workout. When I am lifting, there is pain. [25:19] When I'm benching, there is pain. [25:24] But you have to go through pain in order to get the results that you want, and that is the same thing that you need to do here in crypto in order in order to still have an environment where Main Street [25:40] Main Street still participates in. [25:44] This is the last area, [25:48] the last area of crypto where you can still participate. [25:56] Once this is gone, it's over. [26:02] And that will be reality. That is the reality. Bottom line. [26:06] This will be one of the biggest bull runs of all time. All coins will run.
[Part 3 of 8] [00:00] Bitcoin will run. Everything will run. Get your shit in order now. [00:06] Welcome to the breakdown, episode 797. We are approaching 800. We are sponsored by Midnight, the title sponsor Midnight. We are also sponsored by Polymarket, Cake Wallet and FOMO. FOMO.family, you can go on there and watch some of your favorite traders trade and write thesis on why they are going into whatever it is that they're going into. You can go ahead and tune into that. [00:33] We'll be right back after this commercial break, sponsored by all these fine sponsors that sponsor this show. [00:49] What first got you excited about blockchains? Think about it. Oh, wait. I bet it wasn't multi-million dollar hacks, exposed data, or finding somewhere safe to store your seed phrase. Was it? Maybe it was the idea of decentralizing a broken financial system. Maybe it was imagining a world where people own their own data and get to sharing the value it creates. Or maybe it was the promise of a fundamentally better way of connecting, communicating, and transacting. The next phase of the internet that empowers us instead of exploiting us. So, why hasn't it happened yet? Why are we still living with the same broken system that blockchains promised to fix? It's because blockchains can't keep a secret. Enabling open transparent systems was only the first half of the challenge. For blockchains to really change the world, they also have to be able to protect our sensitive data when it matters. And that's why we built Midnight, to bring down the final barrier to mass adoption and unlock the full potential of the decentralized web. Let's build the internet we deserve. Together. [02:09] Ladies and gentlemen, we all know this in crypto, ownership matters. That's why Cake Wallet. Cake Wallet gives you full control of your digital assets all in one easy to use application. There is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. We have a second angle on this. Is that guy on FOMO? Oh, he just left me for a crazy trade. Yeah, let's get back to it, everybody. Breaking news. There is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. Opportunity cost. It's simply this. Every position you take is a position you choose over something else. This just in. According to the astronaut below, higher up in the room, the satellite has been restored. This. For now, the crisis appears to be over. Satellite's up and running. Positions looking good, too. [04:39] There we go. United States of America representing. Socialism does not work. Digital assets. Is it better to move money at the speed of light? People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. I am here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. I am the modern day Tony Stark. [05:06] There we go. United States of America representing. Socialism does not work. Digital assets. Is it better to move money at the speed of light? People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. I am here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. I am the modern day Tony Stark. [05:32] Welcome back to the breakdown, episode 797. [05:40] We'll be joined by Grant Cardone at 1:05 PM Eastern Standard Time, or ET, I should say. And we will go ahead and have a conversation unfiltered. Because that's the way the show has gone. All the guests that have come on were just, let's get right at it. Let's talk. Let's have a conversation. I said, we'll talk about Bitcoin. We'll talk about real estate. Talk about entrepreneurship. Talk to somebody who actually understands it, who's lived it. Not a bunch of jackasses that pretend to live it and rent it. We watch it. We see it when we scroll, doom scroll. Rent their cars, how you can be like me. Go ahead and just type into the comment box, share. [06:35] I had a friend, well obviously we're talking about Bitcoin. I had a friend contact me, sitting on money. And I'm like, why are you sitting on money? What what's your money doing for you? I have money. I go, you know, you can have $500, $600,000 sitting in your bank account. It's doing nothing for you. Your purchasing power isn't $600,000. It's probably half of that with inflation. What are you doing with your money? And you don't have to go into Bitcoin. What are you doing with your money? Are you buying land? Are you making, are you making passive income? You can buy Bitcoin and earn yield on it. I mean, what are you doing? I'm sitting on, I'm sitting on dollars. Dollar, a dollar that's appreciating, depreciating. And it's nice to have money. I'm just saying, but going to other things. You could go into other things. But we'll have those conversations. And there are a few things that I want to ask Grant. And I think this is good for you guys, especially the younger cats in here that are watching from all what, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, wherever you're watching from. This will be a good lesson for you guys. This will. But again, like I said, things got, I'm telling you, things got to change, man. Things got to change here. And and you you got to start being an adult. And here's my advice. Somebody asked me, hey, I got $1,000, $2,000. Should I, yo, Dave, should I quit? Should I quit my job and come into come into crypto or or or you know, crypto full-time? No. Stay at IHOP. Stay at Burger King, McDonald's. And there's nothing wrong with that either. Stay there until you can actually leave. You you can actually have money that can support you for at least a year or two. While you figure this whole shit out. Don't leave your job. When you know what, you you know, you guys do as you wish, man. But don't cry on the timelines. Don't cry on the timelines. It's crazy. Like I mean, like if you have a if you have $500 to your name, you guys are entrepreneurs. You have and when I see people say that they're entrepreneurs, you have absolutely no idea what an entrepreneur is. You have zero clue. You don't understand what kind of life. You know, I can get you know, I put money on it. 15 minutes into your entrepreneurship, you'd be running back to your bosses crying. Take me back. Now imagine five years, three to five years of the grind of your friends telling you no. Your friends, hey, hope you do well. No. You want to help me? No. Doors closing, nobody saying yes. Three to five years of that shit. That's average. Listen, some people luck out. That's what you that's entrepreneurship. 24/7, no vacations, no nothing. Vacation. What vacation? What vacation are you talking about? Anyway, we have at least for me personally, and I'm sure for you guys, because I see Uncle G going off already. I remember working for somebody corporate and we get something installed and they're like, take a look at these programs. And this man's face pops up. And I'm like, who's this? They're like, this man will make you sell. This man will make you a better salesperson. So I know we didn't have no water for him in the in the in the goddamn green room. And I try to get I try to get some M&M's and water and whatnot for him. Didn't happen. But let's bring in the legend in here. Grant Cardone joins us today. Cash flow. Love to see. I will you know this is this to me is you know what? I don't give a fuck if some people make fun of me for this, but I'll I'm going to keep it 100. Growing up watching you, okay? You're not old anyway, but growing up watching your tapes, okay? Anybody who took sales seriously, you leveled them up. It was kind of like now using AI to level up your game. At that time, you didn't have AI. You had Grant Cardone. Thanks for joining this program, the breakdown. What's going on? [01:52:52] [Grant Cardone] Uh, not much, my friend. Yeah, yeah, dude, look, I'm never coming on the show again because it was, you know, I told your team, no red Skittles. [02:01:79] [David] Yeah, listen, man. We got what we got. [02:03:60] [Grant Cardone] Green Skittles only. No yellow, no red, no caution, no stop, only go Skittles. [02:12:30] [David] We I will mark that down and I will fire who needs to be fired for what happened in that green room. [02:19:35] [Grant Cardone] Send them home with the red Skittles and the yellow Skittles. [02:23:42] [David] Grant, I like the new hat. I need to get that. Uh, I don't know if you got that in the merch store, but I got to get that. [02:28:20] [Grant Cardone] I'll get you, I'll get you one. I'll get you one. [02:30:37] [David] I appreciate that. [02:31:00] [Grant Cardone] You know, it's very important to have cash flow. Guys, cash flow is very, very important. I think we're at a very, you know, uh, an interesting time today in the world. Uh, I'm I'm uh, you know, I've done a lot with, you know, a lot of different spaces. I had my first business was calling on consulting small companies. Most people don't know this. They think that that I'm selling a product to to entrepreneurs that's getting in the game for nothing. But, uh, we were we were consulting some of the largest companies in the world for 20 years. And and we had one goal when we went into those companies, which was to drive revenue. We weren't there to reduce expenses. We weren't there for any other thing than to get them more revenue and hopefully to get them more revenue and more customers and more satisfied customers. By the way, when you get more customers that are paying more money, they're actually more satisfied. That is a proven stat, by the way. Okay, lower prices, lower margins, lower profits do not necessarily make happier customers. [03:35:54] [David] People continue to come back to you because you've proven and you've demonstrated that you've turned around businesses. That's right, right? It's proven. [03:44:40] [Grant Cardone] Yeah, I mean, that's that that's what we were doing and then in what year was it? Uh, pre-COVID, we accidentally priced one of our enterprise corporate products, which is a contract. It's a three-year contract. And we priced it, hey, Ryan, I got to call you back. Um, I always answer the phone, by the way, no matter what I'm doing. Um, and we we accidentally priced a product without a term. There was no contract and it was the wrong price on a Christmas special. And it went off the freaking hook, dude. I was doing this live training for free. And we know that when I do something for free that I'm going to get, by the way, I've done all my businesses. All my businesses have been built like this from the very get-go. We would make a free offer. I'd go to a company, knock on their door cold and say, hey, David, I want to come in, I want to show you something we're doing for other companies in the area to drive their revenue. It's completely free, cost you nothing. Just give me 20 minutes to present it to your team. Let's see if there's any buy-in or agreement. If there isn't any, don't worry about it. If there is, use it. And we'd go in and pitch it, you know, 15 or 20%, maybe 25% of the people would buy the product. The rest would throw me out, tell me tell me I'm a grifter and a scammer and blah, blah, blah. But we ended up with contracts from like some of the biggest companies in the world by doing this. Well, on this Christmas weekend, we priced it to this audience that was mostly entrepreneurs. It really didn't matter who we were calling on. If you call enough people, you're going to get some business out of it. And, um, we mispriced it and all these individuals bought a product that was intended for corporates. And that's how we started scaling out to entrepreneurs. We we we uh, basically just stumbled. And by the way, anybody will do this. If you want a hack, you know, the the hack to luck is work. Just again, get in front of everybody all the time. I I posted something on X last week that said, hey, I'll pay 10 Bitcoin for anybody that can bring a buyer for my plane at 80 plus million and they have to pay in Bitcoin. Okay, I had three offers on the plane from aviation experts, not in Bitcoin, but in Fiat. And so so it worked and then this other group, this these people that run spaces, they got they sent me a contract. They wanted me to sign this contract on the the fee agreement. And I'm like, no, I'm not signing the fee agreement. Bring me a buyer and then we'll figure out the fee agreement. I've already stated what I'm going to do, but I'm not going to sign something before you bring me a buyer. And they got all upset. I'm like, guys, I don't know what you why are you getting upset? Why do you need an agreement for me? What you need for me is an opportunity. Okay, people are short on opportunities. And and there's so many opportunities in America today, it's unbelievable. Whether you want to go wash somebody's windows, clean their roof, their gutters, uh, mow their lawn, paint their fence. Man, there's so many things that people can do today. By the way, you can get big money for this stuff today. Because people don't want to do they don't want to clean up their own shit. [07:08:52] [David] And and that's what I want to ask you because like you come from an era where I I believe you would probably agree, there was a lot of competition. And and people were ready to roll up their sleeves and and go onto that court and and play. [07:24:43] [Grant Cardone] Yeah. [07:25:49] [David] If if you were if you were just starting out in this era, you would dominate. You would wipe the floor with this current generation. Am I am I am I right or wrong on that? [07:36:34] [Grant Cardone] Well, I don't know. I mean, look, there's a lot of, you know, very successful people out there. And there's a lot of people that say they work harder than everybody else. I mean, I hear this all the time. There was a guy that sat across from me, I don't know, 12 or 13 years ago. He didn't even know me. I didn't know him. He came in, we did a podcast together. He's like, I outwork you. I'm like, you you don't even know me. How do you know if you outwork me or not? Uh, by the way, what does it even matter? You know, what does it matter if you outwork me? Okay? Like, do you outearn me? Do you outinvest me? And by the way, why are you competing with me? I don't understand what my what is my game have to do with your game. So whether I'd wipe the floor with people or not, I know this. I'd end up with more money than most people would. And it's not because I'm a harder worker or I'm smarter. It's because because I don't complicate things. You know, I just basically set a target. Look, success, financial success is not that hard hard. It's not that difficult. Being happy is very difficult. Uh, but but being financially successful, not really that hard. First first you got to understand that there's so much money on this planet, it's unbelievable. There's there's no shortage. But if you grew up with a shortage, David, as you probably did and I did, then you think there's a shortage because that's what your your reality point is. But there is no shortage. Uh, now, now, I saw two of the guys that you use in your opener. One of them thinks there's a shortage and the other one doesn't think there's a shortage. Okay, which one thinks there's a shortage? [09:14:14] [David] Uh, if you're alluding to Sailor, I think it's Michael Sailor that you're talking about. You're talking about the opener of Sailor? [09:19:56] [Grant Cardone] Yeah, the opener. You got Sailor. He doesn't think there's a shortage. [09:21:65] [David] Sailor and we got Peter Schiff. [09:23:36] [Grant Cardone] And Peter, Peter is a doomsayer. Okay, Peter has been waiting for the world to end. Now, if you look at the net worth of uh, Michael Sailor, guys, like, who do you want to be? Like, who do you want to be? Michael little shift man has been been banking supposedly buying gold or selling gold. I'm not sure which one he's doing. [09:50:18] [David] Well, he'll be on tomorrow. [09:52:12] [Grant Cardone] Good. Well, tell him fucking tell him he spent most of his career waiting for the end of the world. And it hadn't come yet. And dude, it makes for an unhappy life. The optimist beats the pessimist, right? So the first thing you have to do is you got to be like, hey, there's a lot of money on the planet. There's more money on the planet today than there was in 1968 when I was coming up. There's endless amounts of money. Two, the opportunities today are phenomenal. Now, everybody talks about the cost of housing, the cost of electricity, the cost of gas, the cost of mortgages, blah, blah, blah. So what, bro? The opportunities available today on this planet are endless and infinite. Even back to washing washing windows. Like you could get 200 bucks to wash somebody's windows today. [10:37:41] [David] But that's what I was alluding to to like you're you're talking about what I would go and do. Like you're you have these like this is how I would grind out and I would outwork you to where I'd end up having more money than you because like you're constantly thinking of ways to earn money. I feel like this person [10:53:30] [Grant Cardone] Yes, simple, easy ways though. Simple. Like it doesn't it's not go buy a piece of real estate or buy Bitcoin or no, no, dude, you want Bitcoin, just go get somebody's Fiat. Don't get go get Bitcoin. Like what what are you doing? Just get somebody's Fiat, convert it to the Bitcoin. But you see, people just don't know. They've overcomplicated financial success because that's what our schools have done, by the way. The schools overcomplicated it. It it goes like this, dude, what's your target? Who's got it? And what do you have to do? That's simple. What what is your target? There has to be a target. If your target's a million, 10 million, a billion, whatever the target is, you take the target and then you ask, who's got my money? Who's got my money? Because you don't have any money. Okay, my kids, my kids, I look, I'm I'm in a very great situation. My kids come into this world with no money, despite how much money your parents have. Everybody starts with zero. I started with zero. I set a target and then I ask myself, not what do I need to do? That's what I was trained, by the way. I was trained, what's my target? Oh, I want to make a million bucks a year. What do I have to do? No, you shouldn't it shouldn't go to what, it should go to who? What what's my target? Who's got my money? Because you need a person. A person has to fulfill your target. Why are you looking at me like that? [12:09:50] [David] Wow, that that's that's what I'm saying. You guys are tuning into if you don't have like your pens and papers out right now, I'm old school. If you don't got your pens and papers out right now and ain't writing this stuff down, you will forever be sitting and wondering why why not me, why not me? You ain't willing to go ahead and do the work. You know, Dana White said something like this is the easiest generation to make money because people are lazy. You talk about washing windows. People are too lazy to get up and wash windows. It's beneath them. They want everything handed to them, instant gratification. That's what I see consistently. Um, moving right into, I want to move you made your name in real estate. [12:54:20] [Grant Cardone] No, no, no, I didn't actually. That's you're getting in the game late, dude. [12:58:30] [David] No, but I'm saying like real estate is what people know you for, though. [13:02:10] [Grant Cardone] No, not really, not really. I mean, I mean, it is it is one thing we did. The the first thing people knew me for was sales. [13:10:00] [David] Well, that I like I told you the story. I saw you. [13:13:30] [Grant Cardone] Yeah, you opened with that. That was right. That was right. And then what happened was [13:16:30] [David] I opened I seen your face, okay? Hair, you know, the the the hair puffed out. I'm Greg Cardone just like that all puffed out. You know, I'm I'm Grant Cardone. [13:27:40] [Grant Cardone] That was all that was all. Yeah, I'm Grant Cardone and this is what I do. And then but but really what you were who you met then was 2012 social media popped. The world had come to an end 2008 to to 2010. I mean, we were in this major recession in this country. Most of your audience probably doesn't even remember it. And, um, if you're old enough to remember, you you know, it was brutal and nobody knew when it was going to end. It was violent, okay? And what happened in 2008, 9 and 10 was the audience that I was selling that was I was consulting got cut in half. There was 20,000 of these guys in business. That was our target market and I was in this one vertical. And in 2008, within two weeks, that that audience went from 20,000 to 10,000 and the 10,000 couldn't spend any money. So it basically went to zero. It was violent. And that's when I learned in 2008, hey, you cannot be you cannot sell to one vertical. And I had basically become lazy. I was I dominated this one vertical. I owned it. It was me and another guy that mostly shared it. And I was kind of like the king in it and and I got lazy. And, um, in 2000, maybe 10, social media starts popping around. Uh, in 2012, somebody said, you should get on social media. You'd be a great social media person. I said, what what are you talking about? I'm about to go bankrupt. You're talking about social media. I'm 52 years old and you're talking about social media. What what are you talking about? They're like, yeah, you should get a YouTube channel. I'm like, a YouTube channel. Nobody knew about it, dude. Nobody knew what it was, right? Yeah, and they said, you should get a Facebook channel. I said, Facebook. This this is this this is how kids in college date one another and share STDs. And and the guy walked out of my office. I said, I don't have time for this. Kicked him out of my office and I started a Facebook account and a YouTube account that day. And then I and and I went posted a video. I remember my first video I posted on YouTube with my phone, some, I don't know, iPhone 5 or something. Posted it, terrible lighting, didn't know what I was doing. Six people saw the video. And I said, six people just saw this video. This is going to be unbelievable. Okay. I I knew the first post I did. This is going to be phenomenal. And, you know, now we have, you know, 20 million followers there, dude. That that that's what really opened up the scene. It basically, that's where 10X came out of. Like 10X your audience, 10X your messaging, 10
[Part 4 of 8] [Guest: Grant Cardone] [00:00] extra frequency. But I never, you know, before social media, you didn't have a way to communicate with everybody. [David] [00:06] Yeah. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [00:07] The way I was growing up. That's what I'm saying, the opportunities today, like, look, gas prices like this, okay? Housing prices like that. Like it is expensive, right? Uh, food prices like that. Everything's more expensive, but opportunity straight up and vertical. Like they don't even compare. So you got to ask yourself, do you want higher prices or more opportunities? I'm like, give me more opportunities, that's all I want. And uh, rich people don't care about prices. People that are going to get wealthy do not care about prices, they care about opportunities. Is there a way to get rich? And and, you know, this is why your audience or any audience, right, really needs to fix, you got to fix your your the way you think about money and opportunity versus cost. Because if you want things to get cheaper, that means everything you do gets cheaper. You know, and if you own assets or you deliver quality work, you want higher prices everywhere. [David] [01:08] 52, you are 52 years old. I just want the audience, I want to repeat this. You are 52 years old when you started a YouTube channel and going on social media. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [01:19] Yeah. [David] [01:19] 52, so nobody has an excuse. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [01:22] Yeah, my audience today is probably, my average audience, somebody said the other day said to me, said, man, you're getting old, man. I said, okay. Okay, whatever you say, bro, you know, whatever, I don't know what that means. She's like, you're not going to even be able to relate to young people. They're they're not going to relate to you. I said, oh, okay. I said, let me tell you something, bro. I don't look at people's age. I'll go to, if I want to figure out how to use this phone, a hack on this phone, I ain't going to somebody old, I'm going to somebody young. I don't care whether you're 13 or whether you're 113. Show me a hack. Okay? If I want to, if I want, like, show me a hack. I I don't know, how old is Michael Saylor? [David] [02:05] 60? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [02:06] Probably. [David] [02:07] 50, 60. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [02:08] I don't care, dude. How how old is Jesus today? [David] [02:12] <noise> [Guest: Grant Cardone] [02:13] You know? [David] [02:14] Again. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [02:15] You can learn about Jesus. Jesus left home. He went out and did great things. He told, he went and collected referrals while he did it, by the way. He said, go out and tell the others what you saw here. And then he suffered for long periods of time. He became a damn legend. Guy was a master marketer. [David] [02:33] Master. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [02:34] Master. [David] [02:35] Absolutely. Absolutely. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [02:36] You don't hang on a cross for hours if you're not committed. [David] [02:42] Welcome to the breakdown, episode 797. [David] [02:49] Uh, Grant Cardone on here. All right. rally here. Uh, not the ones that you see on spaces, by the way. Not the ones that are sitting there with their Bitcoin talking about buying furniture, okay? Well, talking about Bitcoiners and potential future Bitcoiners. And I want to know why you wanted to Bitcoin. Even though I know the story that you were given Bitcoin to attend the conference. But why are you now, why are you now particularly going into Bitcoin? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [03:19] Well, let me just finish this story about the consulting and then you know me as a real estate guy. It went like this. I was a sales guy consulting companies. I I was in sales and hated it and got great at it. In fact, I got so good at it, companies started hiring me to say, hey, show us what you're doing with these customers because you're so effective with these people. And it wasn't trickery, it was transparency. I wasn't doing what, you know, Jordan Belfort did where you're you're you're lying to people. I was like, here's the price, this is the term, these are the payments. If that doesn't work, let me show you something else that might. Like, and we were just using price up front because we knew people wanted it. I was giving people what they wanted. So then these companies started hiring me and I'm I start working with all these Fortune 500 companies, Nissan, Morgan Stanley, blah, blah, blah. Ashley Furniture. We helped Ashley Furniture go from $5 billion to $12 billion during COVID. I showed them how to sell online, okay? So then I started collecting all this money, I'm this cash business. And I started parking the money in real estate when I was 31 years old. At 32 years old, I made like $5 million on one deal and I'm like, shit, dude, I'm going to make more money so I can make more money. So I would just consult more companies, take all of it, dump it into a real estate deal and wait for two or three or four years, refinance it or sell it. And I started doing that. Well, that was $6 billion ago. And and uh, basically the real estate started as kind of a, uh, a place to just dump money. Then in 2013, somebody paid me 100, uh, 115 Bitcoin to speak to their sales guys. And I'm like, yeah, dude, I really don't, I don't know anything about Bitcoin, just pay me cash. And they said, we can't, we don't have any cash, all we have is Bitcoin. I said, okay, I'll do it. I didn't know what it was, bro. Like, I I had no clue what it was, right? I'm like, as long as I don't get a disease, you know, you know, I I I'll take it. Now, now, two of my team, this is really important for people to know, two of my team, my executives, told the guy, no. And I'm like, why are you telling him no? This is very, very important for people to understand. And they said, well, we don't take Bitcoin. I said, why don't we take it? We don't even know anything about it. Why would you say no to something you don't even know? Like, this goes back to the social media. No, I don't need social media. And then I started an account. Yeah. No, I don't I don't need Bitcoin. Oh, why? Because because I'm saying no to something I don't understand. It's what everybody does, by the way. Hey, you want to go to this party? Nah. Most people say no right away. They don't say yes. And and saying yes is difficult because you got to you got to agree to something, right? Well, I said, hey, I'll take the Bitcoin. I still have that Bitcoin today, as you know. So, fast forward, this was what, 13, so this is 13 years ago. I started studying Bitcoin because I started watching the price of it. It was 500 bucks, then it went to 5,000, then it went back to 100, then it went to 60,000. And then I started saying, hey, I wonder if if I did Bitcoin rather than real estate, how much money would I have? I didn't really say rather other than, if I use the two together, if I would have taken the cash flow from my real estate, which on at that time I had, I think, 6,000 apartments. But if you do the math on 6,000 apartments, if you're making just $100 a unit in cash flow, it's a lot of money every month. And I'm like, what if I would have converted this cash flow into Bitcoin? And my brother actually showed me this, uh, it's called a hold 'em account or something. Uh, and I put in the calculator, if you would have converted all your cash from the real estate to Bitcoin, what would you be worth? And the thing pops up and says, you would be worth $32 billion. I'm like, fuck. Bro, like, I'm like, okay, I'm going to start buying, I'm going to start using my cash flow and I'm going to convert it to Bitcoin. This is what I was doing when I was a kid. I was converting cash flow to real estate and fast forward today, I got enough real estate, man. I got 16,000 apartments now, not 6,000. I got enough real estate. Now I'm going to start converting portions and pieces of my cash flow into Bitcoin and hoping the Bitcoin keeps going up. And so that's what really got me into it. Now what we're doing is we're on our seventh real estate Bitcoin hybrid. We we own about 3,000 Bitcoin. We're we're the fifth, I think we're number five privately held companies with Bitcoin on our balance sheet. We combine the real estate and the Bitcoin. I have the cash flow, the write-off, the leverage of real estate. I have the heaviness of the real estate and the stability and then I got the volatility, um, of the of the Bitcoin. We combine the two and we're we're we're building a company out of that now. [David] [08:25] Where do you see Bitcoin going? Do do you feel like it continues to go back up? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [08:30] Yeah, I mean, it depends on what day you like, you know, yeah, I thought it was going to go to 90,000 yesterday, then today I'm like, uh, no, it's not going to do it. You know, it just grinds you out, right? [David] [08:41] Well, you posted something on social media, it's at a $3,000 discount right now. I think there was a post you posted like 87,000. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [08:47] Yeah, you're buying it for 81,000 and I'm like, dude, you're buying it for 5,000 off. I mean, you're you're probably buying it for 40,000 off right now from its all-time high. Um, I'm buying real estate for 30% below replacement cost. So we're doing a we're doing a $500 million deal right now. It should sell for 600 million. And we're buying it for 500 because rates are going up. So I'm buying the real estate at a discount. I'm buying the Bitcoin at a discount. I just need the cash flow to give me enough time to wait for both of them to go up. And people that hold assets and don't trade them end up richer than anybody that uh, tries to trade anything. [David] [09:24] Do you think you have a better setup than Michael Saylor has with uh, strategy? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [09:28] I mean, I hate to I hate to I hate to compare to Michael because Michael's a genius, dude. What he's done is, you know, he's got a monopoly on Bitcoin. [David] [09:37] So before you answer that, do you think he doesn't get enough credit for just having the balls to go all in to to Bitcoin? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [09:44] 100 100%. Michael Saylor, if they could string him up and do to him what they did to Jesus Christ, they would. This is what people do. They hate on they hate on greatness. Uh, the Bitcoin community is sickening. The Bitcoin community that hates on Michael Saylor for doing what he's doing, they're they're these people are complete I don't get it, man. I mean, I kind of do get it because they're envious. See, the guy that bought Bitcoin for 100 bucks 14 or 15 years ago, let's say he bought, he he he somebody gave him $10,000. He found $10,000. He didn't make his money, by the way. Most of these OG Bitcoiners, they they're not entrepreneurs. Let's just call a spade a spade, okay? You want to say they're geniuses and they're smart and they read the white paper? Nah, not really, dude. Okay? Yeah, maybe they got a doctor degree or whatever. But if you looked at their money and their success, if you really find out who they were and what they did other than them reading shit and understanding big words, they didn't really do dick, okay? I mean, I'm just keep it real, okay? And I'll prove that to you. By the way, I'll say the same thing about Peter Schiff, okay? Um, let's say you bought 10,000 Bitcoin at 100. No, no, let's say you bought 1,000 Bitcoin at 100. So you you paid what what is that cost? You see, I don't know. I'm going to do the math because I don't trust myself. Say you bought 1,000 Bitcoin, it was $100 at one time, right? You took 100 grand your mama gave you. Your grandmother died. You took the 100 grand, you said, I'm I'm going to bet, I'm going to end up with 1,000 of these Bitcoin. Well, that today's going to be worth what? $85 million. Okay? [David] [11:35] A lot of money. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:36] Man, not really. [David] [11:39] <noise> [David] [11:41] I had to say that to get your reaction. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:43] I mean, it's not really a lot of money. I mean, it is. [David] [11:45] What is a lot of money, though? I'll ask you after you answer this question. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:48] It only buys one plane. [David] [11:50] Okay. All right. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:52] I mean, it is, it is, but it didn't, dude. Like, it is. [David] [11:56] So $85 million is not a lot of money. Not to you. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:58] It is. [David] [12:00] Not to you. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:02] No, I'm saying, no, it's not a lot of money to me today. No, it's not. It's a lot of money. It's not a lot of money to me today. [David] [12:10] Yeah. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:11] Okay? But it is a lot of money. [David] [12:13] Okay. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:13] I mean, $8,500 is a lot of money. [David] [12:17] A dollar is a lot of money for me. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:21] Yeah, I don't think so. [David] [12:23] No, but no, but when I when I mean by that is like [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:25] Let me ask you this. It's $1. It's all raggedy. It's got urine and sperm on it. It's on the side of the road. You picking it up? [David] [12:36] <noise> Oh, this is a complicated one. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:40] See, no, see, it's not a lot of money because you're like, nah, I'm not willing to touch that. If it was 100, you wouldn't touch it, dude. You wouldn't touch it if it was $1,000 wrapped in urine and vomit and whatever, right? No, because the money, the money, but but the 85 million, back to the 85 million. [David] [12:55] Yeah, yeah, 85 million is not a For you, it's not, but it is money. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:58] It's a lot of money, but here's the here's the the dude the dude made 85 million because he found 100 grand and and and and and bought the Bitcoin. So he did, I got great choice. [David] [13:11] So you had you had the balls. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [13:12] He he well, I don't know if he had balls or not. [David] [13:14] $100,000 into Bitcoin? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [13:17] Yeah, no, no, bro. He he he paid 100. Here here's the problem with this scenario. By the way, Peter Schiff had a chance to buy Bitcoin at 100 and he didn't. [David] [13:25] We know that. Yeah. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [13:26] Okay? Then it ran up and he had another chance to buy it at 100 and he didn't. Okay? I'm like, if I were you, I'd quit telling people that part of the story, Peter, because you're a fucking it makes you look like an idiot. Okay? Now, worse than Peter not buying it because he knew about it long before I did, is the Bitcoiner that did buy it at 100 and didn't buy more at 200, more at 500, more at 1,000, more at 2,000, more at 3,000. Like, you guys you guys that only own 1,000 pieces and you had a chance to buy it at 100, bro, no respect from you, okay? I have 3,000 pieces and I've only been buying it for two years. Who believes more? The guy that bought it in 2013 for 100 bucks or the guy that's buying it today every month? You tell me. [David] [14:25] Well, you believe in it because you have a plan with it. They don't have a plan. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [14:29] Yeah, well, well, whatever, because they never had a plan. Cuz cuz they got lucky. [David] [14:34] But I agree with I agree with you on one thing. You said something and I agree with you. They're not entrepreneurs. They just tripped into Bitcoin. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [14:40] You they tripped, they tripped into it, dude. And no, hey, by the way, luck is a very important thing in success and money. You got to have luck. You know? Now, if you want to get super rich, though, you got to have repeated luck. That's what I'm saying, the 85 million is a lot of money? Nah, it's not my target. Okay? It's not my target. I'll lose 85 million to get where I'm going. I have, by the way. So, so this is a difference. Michael Saylor's lost, he's lost 85 million in a minute. [David] [15:09] <noise> [Guest: Grant Cardone] [15:11] Okay? He's lost 8 billion in two days. [David] [15:15] You know, the one thing, the one thing I don't get is that, you know, like, I respect people like yourself, Saylor that they're putting the balls on the table and saying, I'm going all in, I believe in this. And you have a bunch of people, hey, let's bring so this is where I I kind of uh, get a little pissed off with the Bitcoin community and stuff like that. Let's bring [David] [15:39] everybody in here. Adoption, adoption. Let's bring everybody in and then like Saylor who changes his mind about Bitcoin, understands the understands that it's a generational asset, goes all in and then they're shitting. I saw this when when we went into a bear, you know, when we went into the 50, people are praying that he gets liquidated. I'm like, what are we doing? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [16:01] Yeah, dude, it's crazy, bro. Like it's like, why why do you want to see a guy put on a cross? You know, why do you want to see somebody die? And by the way, this guy has been, if you want to bring more people into Bitcoin, this is this is goes back to the target. What's the target? He wants he wants everybody to have Bitcoin. So what does he do? He has a target. Who? Who's the target? Oh, the debt market's the target. Not the end user, dude. Not people that read the white paper. I had this conversation with him four years ago. I'm like, if Bitcoin needs readers, bro, you never get there. Because people that study shit don't invest. When I'm a studier, as a student, I'm a student. I'm trying to get data. Investors are not students, okay? When you go, when when you move from student learning to investing, now you're an investor. You quit studying and you invest. And so, uh, what uh, what what I believe Michael's done is he's like, if I wanted to go to a billion dollars or a million dollars or 13 million, I need adopt mass adoption. Who's mass adoption? Oh, the debt market is the biggest market in the country. It's bigger than the stock market. So, for me, I'm like, why would I teach people about Bitcoin? I'll just I'll own real estate. They already own it. They want it. They understand it. It cash flows. It does all the things people want, right? And now what I'm going to do is I'm going to add Bitcoin like like like the real estate is the Trojan horse and the Bitcoin's inside. And and it it if they both go up, they both go up. If the Bitcoin goes down, well, then we still have the real estate. If the real estate just goes sideways for long periods of time and every 10 days, once a year, I get a big spike in Bitcoin, we we all benefit. But I'm not explaining Bitcoin. I think that that's what Michael's doing with STRC is he's like, forget the Bitcoin. How about a 12% return? You get none of the Bitcoin. Okay, I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll take the 12. Now, the Bitcoin community loses their mind because they're like, why would anybody do that? Because they want 12%, dumbass. Okay, why would somebody sleep with you? I don't know. I don't know. I can't imagine that happening, but somebody did. Maybe they were blind. Maybe they like beards. Maybe they like, I don't know. I don't know. Different strokes for different folks. So the Bitcoin's like, I would never invest in your real estate Bitcoin deal. I'm like, okay, so it's not for you, bro. By the way, by the way, they I had a guy tell me, I think his name's Tiny, Tiny Bitcoiner or something. And he's like, I would I would buy your real estate and the Bitcoin separate. I said, you will never buy my real estate. The real estate I'm buying, you will never touch, tiny man. It's impossible. Okay? He's like, why do you say it's impossible? Cuz you don't know these people. You're not in the food chain. You're not buying $300 million assets. You don't have the money to buy that asset by yourself and you don't have the relationships. So you're not going to buy that asset. Now, can you go buy the Bitcoin by itself? Yes. By the way, if you keep them separate, they're still separate. And they're only worth what each one is worth at any given time, but the moment you put them together, you have created a new vehicle. This is what Saylor is doing, by the way. He's creating a new bond market. [David] [19:36] That's what I'm saying. Like I'm like sitting back here. I'm like, he's doing something that is super new to the market and people are betting against him when we should be rooting for him. Whether you like it, whether you want to get into the products or not, should be rooting for his success because if he wins, Bitcoin wins. Like that ultimately, the asset itself wins and and it makes it more attractive, especially if you're holding it. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [20:02] Yeah. And and if Bitcoin wins, by the way, he wins even bigger. And and the investors of MSTR win even bigger because of the leverage. [David] [20:12] Do you think the institutions hate the fact that he holds or strategy holds almost 4 to 5% of of Bitcoin? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [20:18] No. No, they don't care. Institutions, the JP Morgans, Morgan Stanleys, Goldman Sachs, Blackstones, Black Rocks, they don't care about they care about one thing, bro. F E E S. That that is the love language of the banks, okay? They don't care if you're selling cannabis, Bitcoin, gold, silver, titanium. Bro, they don't care. They don't care the Ukraine war, the Russian war, the they they care about one thing. There's one religion at the bank. Fees. They don't care what you're selling. They'll if they can if they can collect their 8 or 9% fee on you, they don't care what you're selling or what it does for the world or to the world. [David] [21:06] But what you've created with your real estate product, you can also are you going to collect, let's say hypothetically, fees, rent fees in Bitcoin where there's an opportunity to pay your your rent? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [21:19] No, I I don't I don't personally see that happening. I don't see that happening. I mean, Bitcoin has to get way more expensive than it is today for people to start trading it for their services. But what I do see happening in the future is that the the debt market would give me better leverage. I think in the future, they're going to lend against my real estate and my Bitcoin. I think lenders are going to be like, rather than just giving you a loan against the real estate, we want to give a better, cheaper loan, a more secure loan will be a loan against both of these things combined. Because now they have liquidity 24/7 where they don't have that with the real estate. [David] [22:04] Got it. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [22:05] You know, the real estate takes the real estate takes a long time to unwind. [David] [22:12] Listen, you're you're you know, I I again, I know you say I I come from sales and I said in the beginning, I watched Uncle G just and I've seen the videos. It wasn't the videos were the most entertaining part. You talk about opening up that YouTube channel. We all watched the YouTube channel of you getting onto a phone, let give me the phone. And I remember you just going, I I remember this episode, you going on and you close like this guy couldn't close it. You're like, give me the phone and you closed it right out. And it's just the way the way you just spoke to the to the woman on the other line that just closed that deal and you handed the phone back to the rep. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [22:52] Yeah, I mean, there was nothing, there was nothing very, you know, it was that was the days of reality TV. I was I was living in Los Angeles. My wife was an actress. We had a party one night. All our friends were over. And I think the Kardashians had just started and these actors, Hollywood people were like, this is terrible. And I'm like, this shit is going to crush. Cuz I'm sitting there as the outsider, right? Like I'm I'm like, oh no, people want to see real. They want to see things happening. So when I was picking up the phone back then, we still do this today. You know, there's a video, I don't know if you saw the homeless guy video. Did you see it? The meme that was made in me? I was in a room. There was 1,000 people there. Guy stands up and says, hey, man, I'm sleeping in my car. I borrowed money to get here. I don't have a place to sleep tonight. I'm like, give a big hand to the homeless guy. And and and and and everybody started clapping. I never thought this was going to become a viral video. I I I didn't even post it. And then I said, hey, guys, any any the guy said, man, I really I'm looking for some information. I said, bro, you don't need information. You need money. You need money. He's like, yeah, I do need money. I said, good. Ask the people around you for money. You don't have to do anything. You don't have to learn anything. You just need to know, I have a money problem. Who's got my money? Target, who? You don't have to do anything yet. Because maybe people in the room just want to give you money. Dude, the guy raised $5,200 in like 50 seconds. Because he was in the right room. I gave him an introduction. The flow was right. People gave him money. Boom, it becomes a video. They leave that part out of the video, by the way. That the guy raised $5,000. I mean, they just want they just want to they wanted the moment of Grant Cardone called somebody homeless. Yeah, exactly. And he is he was homeless, bro. If you ain't got a place to sleep tonight, you're homeless. Like, it ain't that complicated. I've been homeless before. [David] [25:00] Listen, you showed it on your own TV show where they gave you like three cents and hey, use the three cents and make it into money. I remember watching the show. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [25:09] Dude, when I was growing up, this is what I ate, bro. Okay? I'd steal it from the store. And and and then and then dude, this this will keep you alive a long time. [David] [25:22] Still eating it? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [25:24] I had some last night. One piece of bread and some and some peanut. It goes a long way. So, so, yeah, I did this show where uh, Undercover Billionaire, they dropped me off in Pueblo, Colorado. No money. I had $100. They gave me $100 bucks. I said, I don't need the $100 bucks. And they're like, what do you mean you don't need the $100 bucks? I said, $100 bucks is no money. Why don't I just go to zero right from the get-go? Just here, I don't need the 100. Where are you going to sleep? I said, I'll find a place to sleep. What are you going to do for food? I'll find food. There's plenty of food on the planet, okay? There's no shortage of food, no shortage of water, no shortage of housing, plenty of houses. I had a I had a place to sleep the same night I got to town. I had a car the next day for free. I had two cars, actually.
[Part 5 of 8] [Guest: Grant Cardone] [00:00] Uh, I had a tab at a restaurant within 24 hours, a tab that I would pay in the future off. I never used the $100 and I built a five and a half million dollar business in 90 days. Now, I'm not saying that to brag, I'm just saying that if you have a strategy, if you know what you're doing, dude, like it's simple. It's so money is so simple. And everybody's complicating it. Now we got AI complicating it even more. Rather than people taking action, they're going to three or four different bots. Hey, what do I need to do today? [David] [00:31] Right, you need to get up, you need to get off of this. How do I make uh uh, chat you've been see the prompt, uh, can you give me can you make me rich or make me get or can I earn $10 million in the next five million? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [00:44] What's the fastest way for me to make $10,000 right now? [David] [00:46] There we go. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [00:48] There we go. [David] [00:49] What it says. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [00:57] Guys, [David] [00:57] welcome by the way, if you're tuning in, this is episode 797, the breakdown. We are with Grant Cardone, a legend. Uh, this show is sponsored by Midnight, Polymarket, Cake Wallet and FOMO. Uh, [Guest: Grant Cardone] [01:10] This again, if you're not writing stuff down right now, [David] [01:16] you're an idiot. And you know how I am. I tell you guys. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [01:18] What's the fastest way for me to make $10,000 right now? [David] [01:21] We have so many people like Grant that come on their lives. [Caller] [01:26] Sell your time at a premium rate to someone who already knows you. That's the only lever left when there's no asset and no product. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [01:33] I have no asset, no product. She said the thing you should do is is sell your time at a sell your time at a premium rate to someone who already knows you. She's right about that. You should go to somebody you already know. You shouldn't sell your time though. You should you should just simply ask for money. Give me 10 grand. What are you going to give me for it? I don't know. I'll give it back to you in the future, sometime in the future. But you'd have to have you'd have to know somebody that's got 10 grand. Like money is not complicated. The other thing is this, like because we're talking about printing more money and the baby boomers are telling the Gen Z's that they're being priced out. These doomers. Bro, these doomers are like, they're gone. Okay? The world's coming to an end. No, it ain't. It's never going to come to an end, guys. [David] [02:21] Well, five billion years from now, when the sun goes out, but other than that, we're good. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [02:26] Money won't be the problem. Like, whatever. [David] [02:29] Yeah. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [02:30] But we're going to continue to play the game. No matter we have $40 trillion of debt, $100 trillion of debt, $140 trillion, don't matter. The game's going to continue to go on. And and and the funny thing about money is the more money they print, the the the actually the hustlers are the most gleeful. Okay? Because the more money there is, the more money you should have. Not the less. [David] [02:54] Exactly. You're right. You're absolutely right. Uh, [Guest: Grant Cardone] [02:59] I want to pivot real quick before we get back into [David] [03:02] there's a lot of people that want to know a lot of stuff about entrepreneurship. Obviously, you're the guy that can go ahead and break that down. But I was watching you I guess this is a month, two or three ago where this is what I love about you. You're you're unfiltered. You don't give a fuck. And [Guest: Grant Cardone] [03:21] Well, I do. [David] [03:22] Well, I don't know, man. I well, no, you give a fuck, but like you're not going to let anybody you're not going to let anybody from York would say sun you. Nobody's going to sun you swinging with this uh, this class action. I wanted to talk about that because you put the videotapes all out there. You're like, you know what? I'm I'm going to punch you guys in the that's how it felt. Like, you know what, you want to fuck with me? Let's go. I'm taking the gloves off and I'm swinging bare knuckle with you guys. And I watched your videos and I'm like, holy shit. He does not and I've seen you do this before with others where they came at you and you're like, you know what? Gloves off. And this time, like this is something that nobody would like. I haven't seen anybody do some shit like this. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [04:16] Yeah. [David] [04:16] When I've seen you in your position do this, you're like, let's fucking go. And you absolutely you absolutely embarrassed them. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [04:28] Yeah, dude, it's uh, you know, when I was a kid, dude, I I had this guy named Ronald that bullied me all the time. I was probably maybe 12 or 13. Little black dude would every day I go to school, dude, the guy just fucking just bullied me. I was terrified every day. Finally one day I was just like, dude, you you you you got to you got you cannot go to school like this every day. I tried to be his friend. I tried to suck up to him. I tried to buddy up and he would just every chance he got, bro. You know, the only thing that stopped it was one thing. I'm like, okay, I got to I got to try to knock this guy out. And even if I lose, at least, you know, what I found out is when you finally stand up to him, bro, they they quit they they find somebody else to go bully. And I didn't win. I didn't win against Ronald, but but he did he he did stop fucking with me. [David] [05:27] Yeah. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [05:28] And so I've been defending myself in this class action lawsuit for six years now. And you can't in the beginning, you can't really say anything about it because if you do, you sound defensive. Um, so during this deposition, nobody knew that I was going to upload the deposition. It's 14 hours of deposition. If you haven't seen it, by the way, you should go to YouTube, Grant Cardone deposition. And nobody's ever uploaded their own depositions. They end up on the internet later. [David] [06:04] Yeah. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [06:05] They get leaked. I dropped it 24 hours after I did it. I knew I was going to drop it. As soon as I could get the tape, I knew I was going to upload it. My lawyers didn't know, my wife didn't know, nobody knew because I didn't want to tell them, David, because I knew everybody was going to tell me, don't do it. And but it was the only way for me to get my story out. You know, that the the the class action lawsuit litigation industry has been weaponized to take advantage uh of, you know, small and medium and large businesses that that basically don't want to be deposed and don't want to be made public. Well, I want to be public. I want people to know who I am and what I do. [David] [06:53] Yeah. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [06:53] So I couldn't wait, dude. I couldn't wait because I was sanctioned prior to this to not talk about the case. I could not talk about the case. I couldn't tell people before this that if they win, all my investors lose. I couldn't tell anybody that. I was sanctioned by the courts not to mention that. But once they asked me the question, okay? Mr. Cardone, can your investors lose money? Yeah, you goddamn right. If you guys win your bullshit deposition, they're going to lose their investment. They're going to get their investment back, less the cash flow, less your fees. And your fees could be 30 or 40%. So every 100, if I paid them 30,000 back, they're going to go 100, less 30, less 40, which means they only get 30 grand back and they got to give me all the shares back. Now that you ask, I'm glad you did, by the way, dumbass. Uh, because I'm going to be uploading this video. Well, at the end of it, they actually tried to sanction me uploading the videos, but you can't stop me from uploading my own deposition. [David] [07:58] Correct. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [07:59] Under oath, by the way. And and and and we did. We got like 50 million views on those videos over over three weeks. Um, and now now people actually get to see what happens in these class action lawsuits. This this firm Susman Godfrey earned almost a billion dollars last year. They sued Facebook or Meta, Google, Anthropic, the NFL. None of the class action members made anything. Four major lawsuits. I think the biggest payout to anybody was $67 check to any of the class action members. And they raped uh uh $750 million out of the system. All four of those cases, by the way, settled. That's what they always bank on, David. They bank on a settlement because you're embarrassed and you don't want the attention, you don't want the deposition made public. I'm like, no, no, I'm not settling and and I I don't mind making it public. So it backfired on them. We'll see if I win or not. We go to we go to jury trial in uh March. I could lose there, by the way. I don't want to lose, but I could. Uh, as you know, once you get in front of a judge and jury, they might not like me and and um, But I win with the public. [David] [09:21] But that's your biggest thing, winning with the public. And and I mean, for the for the first time, you actually saw a full like a really in your case, a full deposition of like where [Guest: Grant Cardone] [09:33] Yeah, we [David] [09:33] where you at? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [09:35] And we didn't edit anything, by the way. There's no edits, there's no gaps in the video. You get to see the entire 16 hours, hundreds of questions, by the way. I said I don't recall twice out of 16 hours. That would be the normal protocol, by the way. I don't recall, I don't remember, I'd have to check. Uh, I don't have the data in front of me. I answered every single question in detail. Uh, and um, I don't recommend people do this. But [David] [10:08] It's [Guest: Grant Cardone] [10:11] Because it look it could still backfire on me. I I I don't know if it's going to work or not. I don't know if it did work or not. [David] [10:17] But why would your clients want any of this stuff? They're happy. Your clients are satisfied. Why would they want to be a part of any of this? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [10:23] 45% of our 45% of the investors in those funds opted out of the class action lawsuit. That's the highest percentage opt out in the history of class action lawsuits. 45%, almost 50%. The other 55%, 80% of the 55 don't even know they were involved. Okay? Because the [David] [11:51] So still there's still time for them to opt out too. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:54] No, because they only have 45 days. And we know these numbers because after the deposition was uploaded, people started calling and saying, I didn't know I was involved in this. I never saw the email. Can I still get out of it? I'm like, no, it's too late to get out of it now. Because they basically send you an email that says if you don't respond in 45 days, we consider that to be a yes. [David] [11:17] So hold on, Grant. So what if all your clients want to get the fuck out? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:22] Well, [David] [11:23] But but they didn't see the email. Like what [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:26] They they they're they're part of the class action now. No matter what. [David] [11:29] Oh, they That's some that's bullshit. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:32] The the the Susman Godfrey tried to reverse. [David] [11:34] What the fuck is that? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [11:35] Susman Godfrey tried to reverse the the 800 people, not almost 900 people opted out of the lawsuit, which represents 50% of all the money, by the way. Uh actually 60% of all the money. They they opted out. The law firm tried to get that reversed with the courts. Saying no, the opt outs should not be allowed to opt out. These people are all saying, I don't I don't want to be part of your suit and I like my investment. Now, the courts turned that down. [David] [12:11] This has to be this is ridiculous. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:13] Yeah, dude, it's it's terrible. [David] [12:14] This absolutely the system has to be changed. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:17] Yeah, they're not going to change this because it benefits both sides, by the way. [David] [12:23] That that is [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:24] It it benefits lawyers on both sides. Yeah, it's a it's a it's a terrible terrible uh [David] [12:33] So okay, go for it. Okay. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:36] So anyway, here we are, bro. I've spent, I don't know, $8 million defending myself against 10 grand. [David] [12:44] You're left. How much you said? How much are you spending? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:48] I've spent 10 almost $10 million on on [David] [12:52] On this. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [12:53] Defending $10,000. Yeah. [David] [12:56] That's That is crazy. Um, [Guest: Grant Cardone] [13:00] Okay, and I appreciate you taking the Again, guys, you can look at uh, you can go ahead and look at the uploaded material uh, and see how [David] [13:12] Grant is literally sitting there just questions and it just it's I don't want to say it's fun to watch because I I'm sure this is not a fun experience at all. Take somebody on and like uh, make a few people stutter, uh, while they go ahead and try to answer you back, uh, when you question them. Um, 10X. For somebody who's interested in becoming an entrepreneur an entrepreneur, can 10X really go ahead and do you have to be born an let's put it this. Do you have to be born an entrepreneur? Or can I program like you and I've watched your I watched you on the weekends and this is what I mean, man. You don't take any days off. I watched you on weekends on on Instagram, you're on TikTok, you're on X, you're on YouTube, live all over the place, whiteboard, teaching people and and you know what? The book great, but here, I'm I'm I'm teaching you how to 10X your money. Can 10X take do you have to be let's rewind. Do you have to be born with with that entrepreneur spirit or or can somebody like you and others really bring something out of somebody who's willing to put in the time and effort? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [13:38] Yeah, I mean, I I you know, I don't think you have to be born, you know, I I mean, I guess everybody has their purpose, whatever their purpose is, right? But I I don't know what makes entrepreneur. I think anybody can be, David. I I don't know, you know, I I I don't know the answer to that question. I think anybody that wants to be can be. I think you have a better chance of being an entrepreneur than you do an actor. Or or or a ball player. Or a rapper. You know, because that that requires talent. Um, I was telling I was telling a very famous movie star this guy super super famous. I said, you know, people got a better chance of being me than being you, bro. And I said, he's like, what do you mean? I said, well, anybody could be me. I mean, not not everybody can do Top Gun. [David] [15:34] Okay. All right. I only want to the name already. I I'm guessing the name already, but okay. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [15:39] I'm just saying like like bro, any anybody can become a businessman. Like any a businesswoman, anybody can bank money. The chance of you becoming a ball player. By the way, your your your your career is only going to be like five years. I I've been hustling since I was 20 years old. 60, I got what is that? 20, 48 years. Okay, there's no ball player that has a 48-year career. Okay, if you're if you're if you're an I guess if you're a singer, I guess if you're JLo, you've been you've been hustling the stage looking like a hoe for for 40 years, but you know, [David] [16:20] Not a big fan, by the way. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [16:25] What what [David] [16:26] Why why would somebody get into 10X? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [16:29] You would 10X because you're not [David] [16:31] What what would your what would be your Like I tell people go get your like some people that I speak to and I sit down with. They're like, yo, Grant was on your show and you speak to Grant. I'm like, yeah. They're like, what do you think about 10X? I I I think it's phenomenal if you go and I'm I'm not paid by the way by Grant, no secret hint. I think I think 10X is a is is great for people that want to go ahead and put in There we go. You see? I think I think it's great for people that want to put in [Guest: Grant Cardone] [16:55] 10X 10X is basically a multiplier. Okay? Yeah, but I think for anybody who like 10X suggests, it's not that complicated. Like it's like, dude, if you think you're going to call on one person and get your job done, you're not. You need 10. Okay? God it God God is not going to make it that easy for you. He's going to be like, yeah, I I gave you everything you need. Now now you got to go out. Let's see if you're you have persistence. You you do have persistence, by the way, but he's not going to just let you get the first deal because he wants you to exercise the persistence. You know, and and the the cool thing, dude, is like we all have everything we need, but you don't really find it out until you do it enough. And if you don't do something in 10 10X is probably not appropriate. It's probably more like a 1,000X. Uh, if you just show up enough, you're you're going to get lucky. But you got to show up enough. [David] [17:55] You got to ask for it, right? Like you got to ask for it. Every single day. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [17:59] You got to show up and you got to keep showing up and you got to keep showing up and and you got to keep asking and you got to keep Oh man, I don't like rejection. No, you ain't got used to it yet. That's the problem, bro. When you say I don't like rejection, it means you ain't done the work yet. Because you know, rejection shouldn't be the thing that you're you're oh that hurt. You know, you all you're doing is saying I quit before I had enough rejection. So if you don't quit, you're going to win. There's no failure. Failure is absolutely impossible. No matter what. If you just keep getting up and trying again and again and again and again, you'll you'll get there. And you're going to feel great about it, by the way. [David] [18:47] Yeah. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [18:48] The problem though is people they'll they'll try the hard workers out there. They they'll try eight or nine times or 10 times or 12 and then they finally crush it. And then they go on a vacation. I'm like, bro, now it's not the time for a vacation. You just scored. [David] [19:05] Exactly. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [19:07] Don't don't have a cigarette. This ain't sex. This is success. Okay? Don't don't get enough of this, okay? What you want to do is you want to double down and go get another one because there's windows that open and close, right? And you want to once that window opens and you make a shot. Imagine you make a three-point shot. Aren't you going to want the ball back? [David] [19:30] They're not going to bench you now. I want the ball. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [19:34] Give me the ball, bro. The the basket just got bigger. So, so you're hot now. Now what you want to do is keep taking shots. So that that's what I would tell people, man. You want to 10X, you want to be around other people that are thinking big, going hard, no excuse making, no cry babies, you know, and that are saying, no, no, pedal down, bro. Let's go. Let's go hammer down, push. This is a great time in America to to be successful. You're you're living in a time that flags behind you, bro. I was at the White House the last two Fridays. I mean, we we're living in a country now where patriotism's coming back. You know, uh, the administration we have in there is proud. They want people to win. Taxes are lower, opportunities are bigger. Uh, don't be a cry baby. [David] [20:28] Speaking of the administration, how do you think Trump has done in his uh two years in office or back in office? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [20:35] I think I heard a rumor the other night. He hadn't done one thing that he that he promised. He promised the border to be closed. He delivered on it. He talked about Greenland and y'all thought that was a joke. He talked about Venezuela. Boom, that's done. These are these are these these are three things that change the United States trajectory for the next uh 100 years. Greenland and Venezuela, very, very important. Okay? Now, has he finished uh the the Russia uh Ukraine war? No, he has not. He he has not done that in all fairness. Uh, the war in Iran, I thought I think he thought it was going to be easier than it is and I think he knows there's something there that's problematic. Otherwise, he would be out of there because it would benefit the midterms, it would benefit his administration, it would benefit Republicans and it would benefit his legacy. And he could claim, David, we won. He could tell the whole world, we won, we're out. But he's not doing that because he knows something's going on over there. I think we also before this is over with, um, I think he takes Cuba before the end of the year. And I know everybody laughs about this stuff, but don't under under underestimate Donald J. Trump. Okay, that dude is one bad man. [David] [21:57] I you know, I'm from New York, so I understand I understand Trump. I think most of the country doesn't. Yeah. He's blunt. Like he he is a straight shooter. He's going to tell you what's on his mind. Like you, you don't give a fuck. You're going to say what's on your mind. That's how Trump is. And like he might rub you the wrong way. Sometimes I see the tweets, I'm like, Trump, don't. But I understand and a New Yorker understand Northeastern type of person understand. You're not going to understand it anywhere. Oh my God, look what he No, like and first of all, I'm I'm actually happy because there's a breath of fresh air to finally have a president with a pulse. And we actually know who the president is and not a bunch of people behind the scenes running things while respectfully Biden is sleeping. So, uh, you know, like when when I look at the economy today, it is much better than it was what what six years ago, whatever we were going through, it was horrific. Uh, listen, you can make money in whatever economy. I get it, but it it was it was a mess. But midterms come around. Midterms are almost here. Do you think the Republicans still keep the house in the Senate? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [23:02] It's going to be tough. Look, it'd be tough no matter who it is because in most of the time you lose the midterms, you know, it flips against the incumbent party. Um, I think people forget that in the conversation. Very rarely does the incumbent party win both. Um, but it wouldn't shock me if if if it was an upset. It would not shock me. He he he's powerful, bro. That guy that guy is one of the most [David] [23:35] Do you think he has something up his sleeve that he hasn't said or done yet? Do you think the administration has something up their sleeve to maybe pull out a victory here? [Guest: Grant Cardone] [23:45] I don't know. I mean, you know, I don't know. I I don't know the answer to that. I just I would not count out a guy. This is the beautiful thing about this country. Okay, 48 felony counts, three divorces, a sexual assault case, uh, and he's been elected three times. I mean, he's been he's he he he won the president's three times. [David] [24:11] You can say what he did. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [24:14] It's unbelievable. It was the biggest comeback of all time. It it is the first time he runs for political office, he becomes a president. Like even if you don't like him, man, you got to say, this is America. [David] [24:26] Yeah. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [24:27] Now, the problem with that, this is America is then the can win in New York and the AOC could win and then then it gets kind of like, okay, can anybody win? I know my whole life, dude, I've always wanted non-politicians to be in these positions. I I think anybody that grew up in my era like, dude, I'm sick of hearing my fellow, my friend across the aisle, my buddy. And what does Trump say? This piece of shit. I like that better. [David] [24:55] Me too. I I do too. [Guest: Grant Cardone] [24:58] Um, [David] [25:00] I remember uh there was a video and again, I'm a youngster and I watched this video and it it does change my mindset. Um, my parents are good uh financially, but I I I think in this world and especially when you go to school, they're not teaching you financial literacy at all. Uh, they're just teaching you math and people think mistake math for for to be able to handle your money is whatever it is. And I remember watching one of your You make passive income and that's when you buy this depreciating shit and you're going through your cars, your Bentley, your G, like you had the cars all lined up. You see how I bought this? Passive income. Not with my not with my earned income. Passive income bought this shit, okay? You guys want to go ahead and spend money? Passive income, okay? And I remember that and it stuck with me. I'm like, I will never spend my hard earned income on any of this depreciating shit. Even if it appreciates, I'm not spending money on it. I will only spend money spend money from okay, real estate.
[Part 6 of 8] [00:00] revenue comes checks, you're getting checks while you're sleeping. I'm using that money to buy that depreciating shit. That video when you would when you did that video, I was like, it changed my entire perspective of [00:16] how people take that hard on money, turn a piece of metal to to ride around the neighborhood to show their friends, look, I made it. And and yeah, you'll get a wow, but five minutes later, nobody gives a shit. But you're stuck with a car note, insurance note, every single type of note, maintenance, everything and you're working, now you got overtime to pay for a piece of metal that you're going to drive for only an hour or two. [00:43] Yeah. [00:44] So that [00:45] The concept is this should be taught in schools, right? Um, unfortunately, there's not one course in school that I know of today where they teach you how to create wealth. [01:00] I'm not talking about a budget. I'm talking about how do you actually create wealth in life, right? And and and, you know, the fact that we don't teach that course in in schools, I'm not talking about financial literacy. [01:10] Yeah. [01:11] Okay, I'm talking about how do you actually create wealth? And we should teach this in this in this country. Um, and the concept is this, like I've studied money a lot and and the concept is, by the way, the most new new millionaires, we'll make more millionaires in America this year than ever in the history of the world. Like, I think there's going to be like 400,000 new millionaires this year in 2026. [01:39] Once you become that, okay, or on the way to creating that, what you should do is take all your earned income, okay, the peanut is the earned income, all right? You take that that's earned income. Never spend the earned income. What you want to do is invest the earned income and have no money. And so you just move it over. You take the the the earned income, if I'm earning 80,000 a year, don't live on any of it. Now, I know this sounds impossible, but but it's not if you're committed to creating wealth. You basically, I'll tell you, there's a group of people that already does this and have done it for generations. It's the Indians. Indian families have done this forever. They take earned income and they go buy motels, 7-Elevens, gas stations, anything that anything that provides depreciation and cash flow. They take all their money, they all live together as humbly, as closely and as cheaply as possible, and they take all their surplus money and dump it into a passive passive income producing laundromats. Storage, apartments, okay, 7-Elevens, etc. Not all of that's real passive, but you get the point. And then and then they use the passive income over long periods of time from the laundromat or the apartment complex, and that's how they improve their quality of life. And, um, that's what I've been doing since I was 32 years old. Take all my earned income, dump it into an apartment building, and when the apartment building, let's say I got 100 grand, now that 100 grand pays me 6,000 bucks a year, I live off the six, not off the 100. Next year I make 100, now I got 200 earning six or 12. And I can live off the 12,000. Third year, I go buy another one. In the third year, I got $18,000 to live off of. So, those first two or three or four years, I'm living very, very humbly. 10 years from now, though, okay, I now have a million dollars invested. I took 100,000 10 years in a row. And I have, uh, what am I earning now? I'm 65,000 bucks a month is what I can now improve the quality of my life on. That's if those assets didn't go up in value, if the cash flow didn't go up, it should have, by the way. And now I'm collecting assets, not bracelets. And unfortunately, most of America is so so busy trying to collect a damn necklace or a watch or a car or a show-off piece. [04:12] What's next what's next for you though? Like you've already accomplished, I don't know, you have accomplished you you are living the American dream. [04:21] Yeah. [04:21] You've you've seized your opportunity in America where people say, oh, I don't have an opportunity in America. You've taken full advantage of the opportunity in America. Would you ever run for political office? [04:32] No, I would never I would never run. I I looked at running for California for governor, but it was just like this is impossible, dude. You know, even if you win, you can't make a you can't do anything. I'm better in the private sector helping people. My my goal is to help people. My my my biggest fear in life is that I'm not going to be able to help enough people to made my time on this planet worthwhile. I did great for me. I did great for my family and, you know, I'm going to leave a bunch of money behind, but did I help enough people? And that's really my biggest concern is like, you know, can can I help enough people to make a difference? Um, and I don't know if that I don't know if I achieved that or not. [05:17] You don't think 10x is doing that for you? [05:19] I I I I I I just think it's it's hard it's really hard to help people. You know, because when you help people, first of all, most people just don't trust anybody. And then when you actually start helping people, then the other, you know, look what they do to Michael Saylor. Look what they did to Jesus. Look what they do to anybody that tries to do good. Look what they do to Elon, okay? And, you know, you know, if you try to actually help people, people don't don't actually trust it. They're like, oh, there's got to be a grift somewhere here. I I had somebody say to me, well, you you help all these people, like we raised $10 million last year for kids that don't have access to anything. And we're teaching them about money, the wealth formula, investing. We get them fly them down to our our, uh, school. Oh, this is just a tax write-off for you. That's what they say. I'm like, dude, you're fucking you're so you're so you're so negative. You know, you're so negative. It's unbelievable. Anyway, bro, you can only do what you can do and then you got to let the rest the rest of the chips go, you know, go where they are. What's next for me? Yeah, I want to do something big. I, you know, I I don't want to do something marginal. I definitely don't want to live the next 25 years of my life doing doing nothing. And I want to make a difference. [06:47] AI. [06:48] Yeah, that's why I agreed to come on a show like yours. Like like maybe maybe we reach one person today that heard something. I didn't know when I was doing those videos that you were going to see one of them. [06:59] You you I I I'm being like, listen, my my conversations with everybody are, uh, you know, anybody who's been watching me for the last 10 years, uh, plus, I'm very transparent when I'm when I talk and there have been people I I think throughout my life where you, you know, you know, besides my besides my parents, it's just like you watch certain things. I've watched you and I've also watched Gary V. And Gary V's like, hey, man, you can always go back to the chat. [07:27] Gary V's the one that said he outworks outworks me, by the way. [07:31] He did. All right, there you go. [07:32] I said, but you never even met me, bro. Like like what do you why would you say that, Gary? I don't know. What's wrong, man? What's wrong with you, son? [07:40] Oh, I think you guys are both alpha dogs. You're on the court and you're competing. That that's how I see it, right? [07:46] Not but we're not really, right? It it it it [07:49] It's healthy competition. [07:50] It Okay, maybe, maybe, maybe it is. [07:53] Like you see him doing well, you're like, yo, I'm in some sense, I'm not going to wish him bad, but I'm I'm going to do better than this guy. I could do better than this guy. [08:03] Yeah, but we can both do better. We can both do better and still both do better. [08:09] I that I agree with too, but I go on like I go on to that court and I want to be the best. [08:13] Yeah. [08:13] I think you you have the same mindset. [08:15] Well, he can work hard though and I can work hard too. There's it's not it's not a race, right? Because [08:22] Yeah. [08:22] he he he he can't he can't do all the work. Nobody can do all the money get like no matter how hard he works, that still leaves I can still work hard, bro. Like you know what I'm saying? Like you can make a billion dollars, I can make a billion dollars. You know, Jay-Z says, what's better than one billionaire? Two. [08:45] Exactly. No, no. [08:46] Let's let everybody get rich. Fuck it. Let's go. Everybody go public. Everybody be rich. Everybody everybody should want to do great shit and and we quit fighting each other over a piece of bread. Bro, that that that that's that's the problem. People are like, oh, I got to be No, no, no, bro. There's infinite amounts of abundance and affluence and prosperity for everybody. There is no shortage of anything. These are all artificial. Every every shortage ever created, okay, gold. There ain't no shortage of gold, bro. [09:21] It's unlimited. [09:22] You saw that today? That that thing in the air? [09:25] Yeah. It's unlimited. [09:27] Somebody said if if that came to Earth, everybody on the Earth would be a billionaire. No, bro, gold wouldn't be worth shit. [09:33] Exactly. [09:34] If that came to Earth, okay? [09:37] I'll let Peter Shift know that on tomorrow's show. [09:39] And by the way, Peter, we we have we have that much gold on the planet right now. There's no shortage of gold. There's never been a shortage of gold. We haven't explored 90% of the ocean. You know there's a bunch of fucking gold out there. [09:53] Of course. [09:54] Okay. And wait till the robots are out. As long as we have robots that can dig 24/7 365, there'll be endless amounts of gold and silver. [10:03] I want to this wanted to and by the way, I just want to give you a a lot of uh I just want you to understand and I say this to the audience, there's, you know, I do the show every Mondays through Fridays. You have your, you know, content that you push out there. You don't know how many people that you affect. You really don't. Look me, you affected me at the age of 19. [10:23] Yeah. [10:24] Okay, like so I said I want to be that I want to be just like that guy, okay? I want to have that that I want to have that hustle just like Grant. Like that that's what I said. I remember when I watched, I said, I'm I'm going to have this hustle. This guy don't stop and that's how you win. And that's been my mindset. Show up every single day. Show up every single day. It doesn't matter. [10:45] It's hard to show up every day. It's hard to show up every day. [10:49] Of course. [10:51] So, [10:52] But but you you know, all I would tell people is look, let it be hard to show up every day until it's hard not to show up every day. [11:00] Absolutely. Absolutely. [11:02] Cuz now you you probably relate to this. Now it's hard not to show up. [11:06] Exactly. [11:07] It's painful. [11:08] Exactly. [11:09] You know what I'm talking about. [11:11] It drives me nuts when I have like even if I take like like a few hours off, I'm already my my mind is pacing. Like I can't even relax. I think it's a sickness or something, but uh [11:24] Whatever, bro. It's it's all, you know, somebody said, look, you just changed your drug addiction for work addiction. [11:32] There you go. [11:32] Sounds good to me. [11:35] AI. [11:37] Yeah. [11:39] I'm going to get your thoughts on AI. [11:42] Yeah, so [11:43] I don't believe AI like they they come out listen, AI's AI is great. It's an that help run my company. It's great from that aspect. Uh, now they call it super intelligence. So let me let me let me go ahead and say super intelligence. That's a new word. Do you think that they'll be able to go ahead and control AI or are we heading to a point where mankind has created something that will out like outdo the human race? And basically I robot, the matrix. Those to me are like documentaries right now when I look at AI as one day the machines will take over and we are dumbing ourselves down from some standpoint because I ask people how to count something in a space, funny that you talk about spaces. I've asked somebody to count something in a space. They couldn't calculate it up on they had to go ahead and grab their chat GBT to go ahead and uh and solve the equation. Uh is AI dumbing down um not just Americans, but uh people across the world and does AI eventually go ahead and take over because we won't be able to go ahead and control it? [12:56] Well, I think it does I think it dumbs down some people and it and it and it smartens up other people. Um, you got to know how to ask it a question, right? You got to know how to use it. Otherwise you're going to be used by it. Uh, it's just going to in my opinion, it's just going to become another advertising platform for Google and Meta. Um, [13:17] Do you think that's where it's heading? You think it's like the new version of [13:21] 1,000 without without a doubt, 100%. Wherever eyeballs go, advertising and marketing goes. Meta Meta and Google are both advertising platforms. Call them whatever you want. Google search and Meta Meta are both down. Their viewership's down. Social media platforms are down. Uh because everything's going to, hey, what should I go see this movie? Tell me about Digger. Uh, you know, where can I get an interest rate? You you you had had had Google not bought I think it bought Gemini. Is that right? [13:53] Google's under Gemini. Gemini is uh [13:55] If they didn't have Gemini, there would be no activity at Google at all. They they had to buy [14:00] And they poured a lot of money into it. [14:02] They had to. They had to, dude. And and and so if they don't, by the way, if Meta doesn't do it, if Meta doesn't fund Muse, uh and and X doesn't fund Grock, uh they they all lose because that all traffic will go to AI. And you and I will use it to search for everything, but mostly useless stuff. You know, but now the smart guys are going to know how to ask it questions and get the bots going and and really multiply time and energy, but it's the same smart guys that always know how to 10x everything. And then there's going to be the super wealth created. Um, but to me it's not a threat, dude. It's just another opportunity. And I'm already seeing it in real estate because money's chasing data centers right now. All this money's going to go chase data centers and they're going to leave multifamily. And, you know what happens when when when when they leave the chicken, let the wolf let the let the whatever the wolf or whoever eats chickens, [15:03] The fox and the wolf. [15:05] Yeah, the the fox, uh at the chin house, chicken chicken house, whatever, uh I'm going to I'm going to I'm going to freaking I'm going to eat. Okay, so all this money, Starwood, Blackstone, they're all chasing data centers right now, so they're leaving multifamily. And I'm I'm going to I'm just going to reap I'm going to I'm going to double my portfolio here in the next three years. Um, and steal a bunch of real estate. And when that fails, and it will fail, by the way. It will fail before it succeeds. Like all things, all things fail before they succeed. [15:40] Yeah. [15:40] And it will fail before it succeeds and when it fails, it dumps out. All that money will rotate back to the multifamily cash flow stuff. Um, because I have a utility. I have people have to live someplace. You cannot chat cannot replace a roof. Water, food, entertainment. Entertainment, maybe it can it can maybe it replaces entertainment. I don't know, but um, people still want to go hiking on the weekends. [16:09] Absolutely. You're right. You're right. You make points there. [16:14] Yeah. [16:16] Grant Cardone. [16:18] You're the man, bro. [16:18] Legend. You're a fucking legend. Uh, I definitely uh want to definitely talk more about 10x and I definitely want to do a one-on-one uh, a one-on-one podcast in real time, uh, in real life, I should say. [16:35] Yeah, come to the office, dude. Come to the office. We'll do it in my studio. [16:37] We'll go ahead and sit down and go ahead and do that so we can go ahead and chat up about some other stuff. [16:42] Yeah, I'm going to show you when you when we get together, I'm going to show you how why my real estate Bitcoin fund is going to is going to crush the $4 trillion read industry. [16:52] That's what we got to do. I'm going to I have to send you an email. We set that up for hopefully by the end of this year to go ahead and and do that. I'll come out to you and uh we'll chop it up. I I definitely 100% appreciate [17:08] appreciate you, man. And I I appreciate that you're still grinding. on the working. And I see you [17:14] I'm I'm I'm having one this I'm having one Saturday, by the way. [17:18] With the whiteboard, like a John Madden. through all this stuff. [17:22] Yeah, any of you that want to come to it. [17:24] What's everybody going? [17:26] Uh, the the the what am I doing? What's the name of the the the link is grantcardone.com/ Uh, shit. Uh, Let me see. Somebody will tell me right now, Jared. What's the link for this weekend? [17:49] We'll get you guys the link for this weekend. It's a it's [17:52] Yeah, it's a business it's a business training. How to how to how to 10x your business, basically. You know, sales, marketing, execution, setting targets, building the culture that you need in your organization, whether you're a plumber, contractor, what whatever you're trying to do, you got people involved, okay? You cannot chat GPT your way out of this shit. [18:11] Correct. [18:12] It's it's still business is still human contact. Okay? I don't want to talk to a robot when I call your company. [18:19] I hate that. [18:20] I don't, bro. I want to talk to a human being. Like you can get it to you can get it to make 200 phone calls and then I have the little one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. Boom, now a human comes on. You've already lost credibility. [18:33] Yeah. [18:34] Okay? You've already lost credibility. I know it's a chat call. Uh, let's see the the link is, they gave me the heavy link. Uh, shit. [18:47] This is a show that I like while he gets the link. This is a show that I would tell you guys to tune into because it plays on all social media platforms, the major ones. And Grant's on there. I I think it goes on for like at least to me in my eyes, it goes on for sometimes three hours and he's just breaking stuff down. He's like, he is literally breaking it down for free. You're tuning in for free. [19:09] Grantcardone.com/business. Grantcardone.com/business. [19:13] business. Grant Cardone. [19:16] What do you want to say? What do you want to say to the audience? This is my this is my daughter Sabrina. She's been working with [19:21] Hi Sabrina, how's it going? [19:23] 11 11 years she's been with the company, David. [19:26] That's true. It's a true fact. [19:28] So she's taking over. [19:29] What's your business uh uh uh advice for for for for the audience? [19:35] Well, listen to him. That's my business. [19:39] Listen to him. [19:40] LTH. [19:41] LTH. Listen to him. That's my business advice. [19:44] She's already into the passive income game. [19:47] I'm really into the passive income game. [19:49] How much passive income you got now? [19:51] You know, actually around seven and a half grand. [19:55] 7,500 a month, dude. She's been investing since she was six years old with me. So is there a Hold on, so Sabrina, are you have you guys set up a course for the younger generation? [20:10] We do. We have the 10x kids. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but we should have like a like a [20:14] We have the 10x kids university. Yeah. [20:16] Well, we have some [20:17] Oh, you should definitely have this like there are so many young kids that just absolutely do not understand you you know this. They don't understand. [20:25] Dude, all those young boys all those young boys heard she's making. All those young boys heard she's making 7,500 bucks a month. They're like, shit, I got to figure out how to how to talk to her, how to get in front of her. Let me tell you something. All you young guys out there, you just heard she's making seven grand a month, okay? Understand, you got to come through me. [20:37] That is awesome. [20:48] Grant Cardone, Sabrina here, making her appearance on the breakdown. That is awesome, man. That Thank you for for coming on. That that is awesome. That that is that's an awesome moment. That'll be clipped up. Uh, and she's probably making more money than I'm sorry, guys, than half of you guys tuning in. She understands obviously. [21:09] Dude, she's already averaging 90 grand a year, okay? On passive income. [21:14] Oh my God. Passive income. [21:16] Just passive income. That's not even earned. [21:18] So check it out. This is what I do, real quick, okay? So I pay her salary. This is a great hack. I pay her a salary since she was six years old. And she actually does work for that salary. There's certain things she has to do for the company in order to get that. She gets the 30 grand a year. That's what we started her at. She's making more than that now. But that's not what she was counting. The 30 grand, then we took the 30 grand and we went and invested it in Cardone Capital. 100% of it. [21:46] Yeah. [21:46] The 30 grand paid her about 1,800 bucks a year on year one. Okay? Boom, next year we pay her another 30 grand. Now she's trying to figure out how she's seven and she's trying to figure out, what else can I do? [22:02] At seven, bro. Oh my God. Boom, working at hustling, rewarding hustle. There's no allowance. The kids have never been given an allowance. Year two, I pay her another check for 30 grand. Now she's got 60 grand earning 6%. Now she's making 300 bucks a month. [22:19] Yeah. [22:20] Okay. 11 years later, she's earning seven grand a month. I don't have to pay for any of her shit. She wants a phone, she wants a necklace, she wants a watch, she wants a car. I'm like, you got your own money, dude. You know what she does? I ain't spending my own money. She goes to her mama and she's she gets the money from mama. [22:41] So she's a write-off for me. [22:43] Yeah. [22:43] I no longer have to take care of her expenses and she feels better about herself. [22:48] And she's going to be an independent woman that does not have to rely on a single person. [22:54] Well, I mean, to whatever degree, I hear what you're saying, to whatever degree we can be independent, but I think that that's a little overrated, you know. I'm not independent. [23:05] No, but from from a financial standpoint, you are. [23:07] Not not not not really. I think that's a myth. That's a myth. [23:12] You know, Grant Cardone is making me feel poor today. I just got to tell you guys. [23:17] No, I mean, I'm not [23:18] $85 million is nothing. [23:21] No matter how much money you have, you still need other people. [23:24] No, no, I'm not saying you don't need other people. I'm just saying in general that she could survive she could survive. There are people that can't. [23:31] She could survive better than other people. [23:34] There you go. We meet in the middle. We meet in the middle on that combo. Um, [23:40] Yeah. But but dude, I I'm going to tell you, the further you go up that tree, the more you need other people. [23:45] What listen, I think you always need people and you need a good you not a huge circle, but I think you need a good circle. [23:52] Tight circle. [23:53] That, you know what, you know that like if you fall, they're there to pick you up. I I I think that's the kind of circle that you need to develop. And I think it takes years for you to figure out who those people essentially are. I don't think you could do anything in this world by yourself. Even professional athletes playing tennis, they can't do it by themselves. They got coaches helping them out. Uh even when uh they're playing there and the coaches are in the stands. So I I do agree with that. There has to be a some sort of uh support system and and a really good tight knit crew. Um, but that's why you're successful. [24:23] Bitcoin prediction. Bitcoin prediction, okay? You ready? [24:25] Go for it. [24:26] I get to 4,000 Bitcoin by the end of the year and Bitcoin gets to it'll it'll hit its all-time high by by the end of the year. [24:34] You told me you're going to get to 3,000 by the end of the year, so you've already surpassed what you said you were going to end up with. [24:40] Yeah, I I think I think I have a chance to be at 4,000 Bitcoin by year end. [24:44] So 4,000 plus we break 126. That's what you're telling me on the program now. [24:50] Yeah. [24:52] That'll be clipped up. Not by me, but by everybody watching. Grant Cardone. [24:57] 4,000 Bitcoin, by the way, if you look up the private companies that have Bitcoin on their treasury, that puts me at number four or number five in the world. And still, I'm still a tiny player. [25:12] That's you know what? I'm sitting back here. I I Jesus Christ. That that is that is a that is a good number to have. That is a good number especially [25:23] loan against it and everything. [25:24] Yeah. [25:25] Uh, [25:28] Uh, Grant Cardone. What else can I say? There you go. [25:32] Yeah. [25:36] Tune into his shows on the weekends. There's to up. You want to get that cash flow and you want to 10x grantcardone.com/business. Hopefully he sends me the hat. Hopefully he sends me some merch and a signed book, okay? I got a dusty ass signed old school book from Grant Cardone, okay? Hopefully I can get a new one signed so I can put it up on the shelf. Okay, hopefully I can get that and uh I'll send you an email and hopefully we can see each other here in person and do that two to three hour podcast episode.
[Part 7 of 8] [00:00] Hey David. [00:01] Uh, I don't wanna say. Uh, it depends. It depends. Extra large, extra large? No, I'm not sleeping in the clothes. You know, I'm European. [00:12] Medium. I got the, or I should say I'm, I got the Europeans where the How tall are you? How tall are you? I'm a 5'10" guy, man. I'm a 5'10" guy. Okay, good. I got you. I got you, man. Be good, brother. Thanks for having. [00:27] I appreciate you. Thank you so much, Grant. Okay, you have it. [00:31] That is Grant Cardone. Grantcardone.com/business. Man, we had the family on today. We had the family on. Shout out to Sabrina for coming on. Sabrina makes more money than a lot of y'all that are coming in and watching, okay? Hey, shout out to Sabrina. Maybe we'll bring Sabrina Cardone on. Maybe that's what we'll do. Next, maybe this month, I'm gonna reach out and see if Sabrina will come on here and maybe school some of you guys as to what she is doing, and what she is doing to level up her game. Oh my God, if I bring, you know what? That's gonna happen. I'm gonna send an email, I'm gonna send an email to Grant. Hopefully he blesses me to have Sabrina on here so we can go ahead and have this conversation 15 to 20, maybe 30 minutes of her telling you how you can level up your game. [01:34] We'll be right back after this. He's a good dad. Look at him. Look at him. What a good combo. We'll be back after this. [01:44] What first got you excited about blockchains? Think about it. Oh wait. I bet it wasn't multi-million dollar hacks, exposed data, or finding somewhere safe to store your seed phrase. Was it? Maybe it was the idea of decentralizing a broken financial system. Maybe it was imagining a world where people own their own data and get to sharing the value it creates. Or maybe it was the promise of a fundamentally better way of connecting, communicating, and transacting. The next phase of the internet that empowers us instead of exploiting us. And that's why we built Midnight, to bring down the final barrier to mass adoption and unlock the full potential of the decentralized web. Let's build the internet we deserve. Together. There is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. We have a second angle on this. [04:13] Is that guy on FOMO? Oh, yeah. Let me for real. Crazy trade. Yeah, let's get back to it everybody. [04:33] Breaking news. There is an astronaut. [04:40] Opportunity is simply this. Every position you take is a position you choose over something else. [04:54] This just in. According to the astronaut's FOMO account, highest in the room, the satellite has been restored. [05:02] Yes. [05:05] For now, the crisis appears to be over. [05:19] Satellite's up and running. Positions look good too. [05:35] There we go. United States of America representing. Socialism does not work. Digital assets is it better to move money at the speed of light? People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. I'm here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. I am the modern day Tony Stark. [06:06] There we go. United States of America representing. Socialism does not work. Digital assets is it better to move money at the speed of light? People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. I'm here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. I am the modern day Tony Stark. [08:00] Welcome back. [08:04] I'm sorry. I'm gonna be honest, I had to take a piss, right? [08:12] I've sat here for two, two hours and 45 minutes. What did you think was gonna happen, man? I could not hold it in. But welcome to the breakdown. Episode, episode 790. [08:29] 97. Wow. Three episodes away from 800. [08:34] It's been a journey. That's the, the things that I said today are absolutely true. I've always been transparent and I remember, I remember being in sales and they bring up Grant Cardone's tapes and they're like, you gotta watch this. I'm like, who is this guy? Like, I don't know who this guy is. And they're like, you gotta watch it. He's a legend. I'm like, all right, I'll watch it. And then I'm watching and I'm like, man, like I, I, I got to watch not just, you know, the, the training tapes, but his, his YouTube and all his content. [09:20] Like, man, this dude is good. This is good. This good, this dude knows what he's doing. You can see it like, and you know it's not, you know at that time it's not scripted like he's, he's getting on the phone, bang, close, next. And, and he's doing it in a way where he's, he's not really selling you. Like it doesn't feel like a, like you're being sold an item of goods. And, um, it's really cool now. You know, you know what's really cool because I was like, I'm thinking about my, my entire life of, you know, I've been in sales, been in marketing, all that stuff. And then I take a, you know, I took, I took a leap of faith, I bet on myself. I didn't need to. I could have, you know, I could have just stayed in my career. I would have been fine. I could have bought Bitcoin, I could have bought, I could just continued DCing Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, whatever. I could have continued to do that, but I decided to bet on myself. And I went this path to build my own media company. Tough. Blood, sweat and tears, man, building. You know, blood, sweat and tears, that's what it is. You're building. There's no help. You got a small circle and you need a small circle, but that comes after time. That really comes after time in the business, I should say. Time in the game where you finally get that small, tight-knit crew that will help you go to the next level. [01:01] I like the fact that he props to Michael Saylor. He didn't even want to go into the conversation of whose flywheel is better or whose business is better. He gave nothing but respect to Michael Saylor. I love seeing that. And he was rooting, Grant Cardone, rooting for Also stating how Michael Saylor essentially not that he didn't hold Bitcoin before that, but how he got his mind thinking about how to take Bitcoin and put it into, put it into real estate. Listen, we learned a lot today, right? Don't, don't, some people are rolling their eyes like 85 million is not, listen, man, when somebody's, when somebody's a multi-billionaire, man, 85 million is nothing to them. You heard what he said? I can lose 85 million in a day. Or I need, or I, what did he say? I'll lose 85 million in a sense in order to go ahead and and probably triple that amount. This is where my conversation leads back to you guys about the crypto situation that we have. When I tell you that the meme economy is broken and that it needs saving, it's a serious conversation. When you have the OG memes not moving and they're sitting there and nobody's looking at them because everybody's too busy and fascinated with dog shit that's coming, coming off of the goddamn launchpads, we have a problem. Now, if you guys want to, if you guys want to become traders and trade all day long, fine, do that. That's, that's not, you know what? That's not a problem. If you guys do not want a movement, I said I, I'm building out a movement and it'll be on my time and my, on my pace. And I will be leading it and be in full charge of it. Not nobody else being in charge of my brand. I'm the only one who's in charge of my brand. Nobody else. You imagine Grant Cardone, Grant Cardone giving his business, I, I can't. I can't. But y'all can either heal the space, come join me in healing the space, or you can trade. I mean, you can play this rotational game. Go. I mean, do whatever you want. It's your money, right? But you know what? The space won't survive. The meme economy will not survive. It will not survive. I'm telling you that right now. Within a year or two, the meme economy as you know it will be dead. Crypto will be alive. Bitcoin will be here. Ethereum will be here. Solana will be here. Cardano will be here. Midnight for privacy will be here. Yes, they're a sponsor of the show, but Midnight will be here. Zcash, Monero, those things, these things will be here. Chainlink, Near Protocol, they'll be here. But a lot of this stuff won't. You'll be trading, you, you know what it is? I, I think, I, I think a lot of you guys don't understand this. When you make 21 million tokens and there's only $100,000 available in liquidity, it will only be rotation and there will be no way that people can actually hold something for more than five minutes with $100,000 in liquidity. Period. It's not gonna happen. That's not happening. So, the choice is yours. At the end of the day, the choice is yours. [01:52] Here's one for you guys. Are you ready? I love my ability to bounce back from whatever life throws at me. I may stumble a bit, but I never fall. I love my ability to bounce back from whatever life throws at me. I may stumble a bit, but I never fall. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much.
[Part 8 of 8] [David] [00:00] to tune in. Every week on Fridays, I will do a recap for the whole week on X spaces where I do breakdown for 25 to 30 minutes my thoughts on what's happening within crypto, Trify, politics, AI. We'll break that all down quickly, 25, 30 minutes. I let one or two people up and then I'm gone. It's just a recap to show face and to say hello to everybody who is too lazy to go ahead and show up to the live shows on the X side. [David] [00:34] Thank you very much, guys. Appreciate y'all. Stay safe, okay? Stay safe. And have a great day as my boy would say, and an even better tomorrow. Shout out to Akil Peters, Patterson. I'm out. [David] [00:53] Some reason I'm trying to click on the thing and it's not, it's not working.
