The holder count for tokenized Circle stock assets has reached 42,200, doubling since late August, according to on-chain data.
CRCLx leads the three primary tokenized Circle assets with 20,800 holders, followed by CRCL (Robinhood-associated) at 12,700 holders and CRCLon at 4,800 holders.
These tokenized assets provide on-chain exposure to Circle's equity, enabling fractional ownership or economic interest in the stablecoin issuer. Tokenized equities function as digital representations of ownership claims settled and managed on-chain, with the underlying equity remaining in traditional custodianship while tokens enable permissionless transfer and fractionalization through DeFi infrastructure.
Robinhood's integration of CRCL creates a direct bridge between retail investment platforms and on-chain asset ownership, potentially lowering barriers to private equity participation for traditional investors entering tokenized markets.
