Social trading application Fomo generated $1.76 million in daily revenue Friday, surpassing memecoin launchpad Pump.fun's $1.1 million. The single-day lead marks a notable shift in Solana's top revenue generators, though Pump.fun maintains a substantial longer-term advantage: $57 million in 30-day revenue versus Fomo's $17.6 million.
Fomo integrates spot trading with social discovery—users view and follow other traders' activity feeds. The platform operates as a dApp on Solana.
The company raised $75 million in Series B funding in June, led by Index Ventures, valuing it at $550 million. Over 68,000 users made their first crypto purchases on Fomo using Apple Pay, accounting for approximately $25 million in volume.
Fomo launched perpetual futures contracts June 11, powered by Hyperliquid and available to non-U.S. users. Hyperliquid, a purpose-built Layer 1 blockchain with BFT consensus for on-chain perpetual futures, has its native token HYPE trading at $87.93.
Fomo's referral program had paid more than $2 million in fees by early June. Pump.fun's PUMP token recently increased 7.8 percent.
