Agents representing U.S. soccer prospect Cavan Sullivan denied reports that he engaged in interviews discussing his future with other clubs, calling the claims a "fabrication."
Sullivan signed a long-term agreement with City Group earlier this year. City Group, which owns English Premier League club Manchester City and operates a global network of affiliate clubs, said its plans for Sullivan remain unchanged.
At 14 years old, Sullivan is regarded as one of the top prospects in his age group and has drawn interest from major European teams. City Group's early signing of Sullivan aimed to secure his services before his market value increased further.
Sullivan is expected to continue his development through City Group's academy system.
