META Platforms introduced Muse for Small Business on Tuesday, an AI agent designed to automate daily operational tasks for entrepreneurs including customer communication, cash flow management, inventory processes and website creation.

Dina Powell McCormick, Meta's president and vice chairman, said the agent allows small business owners to focus on growth rather than back-office work. The launch follows Meta's consumer Muse agent, which gained traction among individual users.

Meta enters the small business AI market with a direct distribution advantage: 200 million small business owners already active on Facebook and Instagram. The agent integrates with professional accounts on both platforms, Meta's advertising system, and third-party tools including Zoom, QuickBooks, Slack, Shopify and Dropbox.

The launch coincides with Monday's announcement of Meta's Enterprise Platform, a new division led by CJ Desai, MongoDB's former CEO. Desai oversees all Meta AI initiatives spanning consumer and business applications.

Jefferies analysts estimate the service could reach $10.8 billion in annualized subscription revenue by end of 2027, assuming 1 billion global users with a 3 percent conversion rate to paid subscribers at $30 per month.
