Argenx (ARGX) trades at a 23 percent discount to Wall Street's consensus 12-month price target of $1,180.25, based on 21 analyst assessments. The highest target reaches $1,415, the lowest $932.
The stock gained 14 percent year-to-date through early 2026, with most of that in the past three months.
The bull case rests on execution. Argenx delivered global product net sales of $1.5 billion in Q2 2026, up 60 percent year-over-year and 17 percent sequentially. That marks 18 consecutive quarters of revenue growth, driven by Vyvgart and Vyvgart Hytrulo—therapies for generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP).
In May 2026, the FDA approved label expansions for both drugs, making them the only treatments approved for all serotypes of adult gMG. For CIDP, Vyvgart is the first new therapy in 30 years, addressing an unmet need: nearly half of the 24,000 U.S. CIDP patients are poorly managed on existing drugs.
The pipeline offers multiple shots on goal. Phase 3 data for Vyvgart in ocular myasthenia gravis (oMG) came in positive earlier this year. No approved therapies exist for oMG. CEO Karen Massey said on the earnings call the company is "moving forward with urgency" on an oMG regulatory filing.
Vyvgart Hytrulo also succeeded in a late-stage study for immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy (IMNM), a form of autoimmune myositis with no approved treatments. That result clears the path for another regulatory filing.
Crucial catalysts arrive later this year and into 2027. Argenx will report Q4 2026 data from a registrational study of empasiprubart for multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN). Next year brings results from four more registrational studies—two for Vyvgart, two for empasiprubart. That pipeline density is material to the valuation.
Twenty analysts rate the stock a buy. Wells Fargo is among the firms expressing strong conviction on upside. Investors should monitor the oMG and IMNM filings as near-term de-risking events. Execution on the four 2027 registrational studies will determine whether consensus targets prove conservative.
