Fomo, a social trading platform on Solana, generated $1.76 million in daily revenue on Friday, September 4, surpassing memecoin launchpad Pump.fun's $1.1 million, according to DefiLlama data.
Over a 30-day period, however, Pump.fun maintained its lead with $57 million in revenue compared to Fomo's $17.6 million.
Fomo combines trading with social features, offering users a feed to view other participants' trades. The self-custodial, gasless token-swap application on Solana streamlines crypto onboarding to roughly 30 seconds.
The platform raised a $75 million Series B in June led by Index Ventures at a $550 million valuation.
Over 68,000 users made their first crypto purchase on Fomo using Apple Pay, generating roughly $25 million in transaction volume.
Fomo launched perpetual futures contracts earlier this year for users outside the United States, with Hyperliquid providing the underlying infrastructure. The integration allows Fomo to offer on-chain derivatives trading leveraging Hyperliquid's Layer 1 throughput for perpetuals.
The platform has also deployed referral incentives. As of June 2, Fomo reported paying users more than $2 million in referral fees.
Pump.fun, the Solana memecoin launchpad, remains the higher-revenue generator over 30 days, reflecting sustained demand for new token launches. The single-day overtake by Fomo signals rising competition in Solana's application ecosystem as social trading platforms capture growing user activity and protocol revenue alongside memecoin infrastructure.
