President Donald Trump's super PAC, Make America Great Again Inc. spent $10 million to support Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's Republican Senate campaign, according to Federal Election Commission filings published Saturday.

The money went to Del Ray Media, a political media company, to fund two attack advertisements against Paxton's Democratic challenger, James Talarico. It marks MAGA Inc.'s first general election spending this year.

The expenditure breaks a standoff among Republican groups over how to finance Paxton's race.

Trump said Friday from the Oval Office that MAGA Inc. had amassed "close to a billion dollars" and pledged to spend "probably $400, 500 million" in the midterms. "This is my money that I control," he said.

MAGA Inc. established in September 2022 and based in Alexandria, Virginia, operates as a super PAC — meaning it can raise unlimited funds and spend freely to support Trump, but cannot coordinate directly with his campaign.

Earlier reporting in July indicated the super PAC had a war chest exceeding $400 million, which it had previously held without deploying to boost Republican candidates.

A February 2026 Brennan Center for Justice report found that 96 percent of MAGA Inc.'s funds came from donors giving $1 million or more, with 62 percent from donations of $5 million or greater.

The super PAC's funding has drawn scrutiny. In October 2022, Save America, Trump's leadership PAC, transferred $20 million to MAGA Inc. The Campaign Legal Center filed a complaint with the FEC in November 2022, alleging the transfer was inappropriate because Trump was already a presidential candidate. In May 2023, NRDC Action Votes joined in a supplemental complaint alleging violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act.

MAGA Inc. operates with a team of Trump loyalists. Taylor Budowich, a former Trump aide, serves as executive director. Steven Cheung, who worked on Trump's 2016 and 2020 campaigns, is communications director. Longtime Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio runs polling operations. Veteran GOP operative Chris LaCivita serves as chief strategist. Sergio Gor, a former campaign adviser and publisher of Trump's post-presidential book, is senior adviser. Karoline Leavitt, who ran for New Hampshire's 1st District in 2022, is spokeswoman. Alex Pfeiffer, a former Fox News producer, also works as a communications director.
