Revolut has begun rolling out EURR, a euro-backed stablecoin issued by Bridge Building S.A.—a Luxembourg-registered subsidiary of Stripe-owned Bridge—to select customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal. The token is deployed on Ethereum and Polygon and maintains a 1:1 peg to EUR.
Bridge Building S.A. holds reserves in compliance with the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation and serves as both issuer and redemption counterparty. Stripe acquired Bridge for $1.1 billion in February 2025.
The stablecoin launch taps Revolut's user base of over 80 million retail customers globally, with 16 million actively using crypto services. Revolut said the rollout is phased, with wider availability across other EEA markets expected later this year.
The model separates distribution—Revolut—from regulated issuance and reserve management, a common structure for compliant stablecoin deployments in Europe.
