Bengals rookie wide receiver Colbie Young, a fourth-round pick from Georgia selected 140th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, caught a touchdown pass from Josh Johnson in the second week of NFL preseason action.

Young, 6-4 and 218 pounds, had an uneven night. He dropped multiple contested catches early, including a missed opportunity in the end zone. But on his best route of the evening, Young created separation downfield and hauled in the touchdown reception.

The receiver transferred to Georgia after starting his college career at Lackawanna College in 2021. His ability to high-point the ball and win in tight red zone coverage will be central to his development.

In the Chiefs-Buccaneers game, undrafted rookie Kahlil Benson, who joined Kansas City as a tryout player, was beaten twice at right tackle on consecutive third downs in the first quarter. Buccaneers defenders Rueben Bain Jr. and Anthony Wilson beat Benson, generating a quarterback pressure and a strip-sack. Benson is competing with veteran Jaylon Moore for the starting right tackle job.

New England's third-string rookie quarterback Behren Morton executed a 48-yard punt in the Eagles-Patriots game, with the ball sailing through the back of the end zone for a touchback. Morton, a seventh-round pick from Texas Tech, punted in high school but played solely quarterback during his college career. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel sent Morton out to punt on fourth-and-16 from midfield in the second quarter.
