Nvidia also rose, extending its lead in the AI chip market. The company has posted strong revenue growth over recent quarters driven by demand for its AI hardware, and its products underpin a large share of global AI infrastructure buildout.
Financial platforms have used Nvidia's profile to attract new users, with some offering up to $1,000 in NVDA stock as an incentive for account openings.
