Upbit, South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange, listed DeFi App (HOME) on its Korean won (KRW) and Tether (USDT) markets, opening new liquidity for a cross-chain protocol that runs across both Ethereum Virtual Machine and Solana ecosystems.

HOME is the governance and utility token inside the DeFi App platform, where users trade tokens, access lending services and manage yield. The listing gives Korean market participants direct KRW-denominated exposure to a multi-chain DeFi protocol.

Upbit also added MetaDAO's META2 token to its KRW, Bitcoin and USDT markets. Separately, Bithumb added Global Dollar (USDG) to its KRW market.

META2 represents MetaDAO, a Solana-based governance protocol built on a futarchy model—decision-making driven by prediction markets rather than simple token votes. The structure lets community proposals live or die based on market outcomes.

META2 jumped more than 72 percent on July 29, 2026, when Upbit opened KRW, Bitcoin and USDT trading pairs. That move confirmed strong retail appetite for Solana-based futarchy projects and pushed additional capital into the network.

Korean won pairs consistently generate sharp price action at launch. The EUL token climbed more than 30 percent in September 2025 after Bithumb announced a KRW pair—a pattern that shows up repeatedly across new listings on both exchanges.

USDG, or Global Dollar, is a USD-pegged stablecoin issued by Paxos Trust Company, backed 1:1 by U.S. dollar reserves and subject to regular audits. Its addition to Bithumb's KRW market gives Korean traders a regulated, fully reserved stablecoin for managing dollar exposure.

Bitcoin trades at $63,607, up 1.7 percent over 24 hours. Ethereum holds at $1,854, up 0.4 percent. Solana, the base chain for MetaDAO, is priced at $73.35.
