[Part 1 of 7] [00:00] dollars worth of digital credit this year. And the most successful IPO of the year was stretch, it's STRC. It was two and a half billion dollars. [00:07] I couldn't have done any of it without AI. If if we had not had AI, we would be $8 billion less. We had five IPOs, none of them would have happened because I used the AI to design the securities and solve all the tax problems and all the securities law issues. You know, so I like I'm a big believer in using AI to design new things. And look, I'm just I I focus upon digital credit and security, but there's someone there thinking about how to make the car drive and cure cancer and like like aren't there like 100 million problems the human race has to solve that we that you're like, well, you're going to need a thousand people with PhDs to solve that. Well, guess what? Now every 16-year-old has a thousand PhDs at their fingertips. And so I'm very bullish. The world's going to be a much better place and and we're going to see an age of empowerment and abundance because of the digital technology. [01:09] People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. Not really. I mean, people who buy gold are trying to preserve centuries. We have centuries of people being greedy to go ahead and acquire gold. Well, no, well, you're talking about to acquire wealth. Yes, people are greedy in that they want they want more things and there's nothing wrong with that. But when they're converting what they've earned into gold, that's not the greed part. That's the preservation part. I I I've I've earned all this money because I was greedy. Now I don't want to lose it. I want to store it so I can use it later. I don't want to blow it all right now. I want to hold on to it and you know, gold is a way to do that. You can't really do that in a fiat currency that's just being printed, you know, into oblivion. So, uh, but but but you know, the greed is in the speculative frenzy that accompanies Bitcoin. [02:02] They tell me that I'm the reason they own Bitcoin because they listen to me years ago about economics, about sound money and and and the Fed and inflation. And I'm the one that got them. Plus there's a lot of unique technology in Midnight that's going to make the use of Cardano safer. Like Midnight password will be the fastest, safest and easiest way to use Cardano. So, we gain all the usability and enhanced privacy. Plus I'd argue Midnight is an essential component for Bitcoin. Bitcoin. When you look at that side of it, you're like, okay, Bitcoin users, they want privacy. So, Cardano could do a lot of the heavy lifting on the programming side, but what if the private coordination layer is just called that? So, we're actually working on this program, our Bitcoin D5 setup, where we call it the the circle. So, you start with Bitcoin and tap root. I'm going to put Bitcoin with my own money into this. This is pretty big. So, you start with tap root and uh Bitcoin. You lend it to stable coin. So, that'll throw off Cardano through a specialized transaction through the bridge. And then that stable coin would then be deployed into a yield bearing instrument. And then as you make yield, the yield is converted to Bitcoin and then it's sent to your tap root account. And then Midnight coordinates all of it with the privacy. So, you you have like all three networks working together, and you have this circle, and then for the Bitcoin users perspective, you just give them a button to make money. Click the button. And then it locks their Bitcoin, they just start generating a yield. The security actually enters the tap root on the Bitcoin network. So, it meets my three rules that I have for Bitcoin D5. One, there's only Bitcoin. There's no Bitcoin. Bitcoin, Litecoin is better money than than fiat, obviously. It's also better money than gold. I I think it's I believe it's the best form of money that um humans have ever come across. Right? Money being a good, meaning that it's um it's inflation proof, right? No one, no single person, company or or government can print more money, right? Can print money and inflate away the money you're holding. Uh, you're storing, right? That's kind of one of the key things about money. If you work hard and you make money, you don't want that money to kind of distill with time, not from your own doing. Right? So, that's that's key and Bitcoin and Litecoin and uh most cryptocurrencies um is able to do that. [04:22] I could have the argument that real estate's better than Bitcoin. For a number of reasons, by the way, depending on who you are. Um, your audience will probably disagree because they're buying a bunch of, you know, Bitcoin maximalists that don't have as much Bitcoin as the real estate guy, by the way. [04:39] No, I I'll tell you right now. Hold on one second. See, that's the funny thing, dude, that me and my brother were talking about this yesterday. You know, the guys that know the most seem to have the least. [04:51] 100%. That that I can probably agree with you on. There should be a bigger issue within the crypto system and the ecosystem. What do you think? [05:00] I think it will be. I think privacy is going to be the the new if you want in my view, and this is what I'm tasking the investment professionals at Nailstream to sort of figure out. I think that the stand out shitcoiner, you know, few shitcoins of 2026 to 2028 will be related some way shape or form to privacy. We already saw the, you know, amazing move of Zcash over the last few months. Yes, it's down 50% from the 780 high, but I think again, my goal is, you know, my mental model is 10 to 20% the value of Bitcoin. That's what Zcash um and so, so much higher than where it is today. But, you know, taking away Zcash, what is the token project or protocol that's going to utilize some privacy technology, probably something like ZK or knowledge proofs to do something whether that's quantum resistant, you know, the overlo can. [05:59] What first got you excited about blockchains? Think about it. Oh wait. I bet it wasn't multi-million dollar hacks, exposed data, or finding somewhere safe to store your seed phrase. Was it? Maybe it was the idea of decentralizing a broken financial system. Maybe it was imagining a world where people own their own data and get to sharing the value it creates. Or maybe it was a promise of a fundamentally better way of connecting, communicating, and transacting. The next phase of the internet that empowers us instead of exploiting us. So, why hasn't it happened yet? Why are we still living with the same broken system that blockchains promised to fix? It's because blockchains can't keep a secret. Enabling open transparent systems was only the first half of the challenge. For blockchains to really change the world, they also have to be able to protect your sensitive data when it matters. And that's why we build Midnight to bring down the final barrier to mass adoption and unlock the full potential of the decentralized web. Let's build the internet we deserve. Together. Go ahead and pull it up here. I should have had that ready, but again, technical difficulties, right? Technical difficulties. Let's go ahead and um let's look at something right now. All right, I've seen this Bitlord. I got to bring Bitlord on to the goddamn stream, but I've seen this. I fell off my chair. As we were trying to work and make sure we can get on here today and there's people are having trouble in the checking. So trying to get back on or or get the stream on or the live show on. I should I want to say stream. But as we were trying to do so, I've seen this. I fell off my fucking chair. [12:48] Let's go. I'll be going hard. I'm breaking their hearts. Bitches be quick, but I'm quicker. Bitches be thick, but I'm thicker. She could be rich, but I'm richer. [13:00] I'll be going hard. I'm breaking their hearts. Bitches be quick, but I'm quicker. Bitches be thick, but I'm thicker. She could be rich, but I'm richer. [13:15] This is your favorite influencer, bro. Bitches be quick, but I'm quicker. Bitches be thick, but I'm thicker. Bitches be thick, but I'm thicker. That's the remix. She could be rich, but I'm richer. [13:33] This is All right, listen, man. I don't know what's happening here. I I fuck with the beat. This is your favorite influencer, bro. These are your heroes. We can be heroes. For just one day. These are your heroes. Bro, I've seen this. Yo, Bitlord. Yo, Bitlord, you're an asshole, man. I've seen this on the timeline. Bro, I cannot stop laughing. Bro, I had the I I could not stop. I I caught the ill giggles, bro. This is the this is the person you're following, bro. Should we play it one more time? Should we play it one more time? It bops, bro. This shit bops. Let's play it one more time. This shit bops. Let's let's play it while I'm watching. Let's play this shit. [14:45] I'll be going hard. I'm breaking their hearts. Bitches be quick, but I'm quicker. Bitches be thick, but I'm thicker. She could be rich, but I'm richer. [14:57] I'll be going hard. I'm breaking their hearts. [15:01] Damn, they did him dirty, man. I ain't play, you know, they this they did him dirty. This is this is crazy, bro. This is crazy, bro. This is wild. I'll be breaking hearts. I can't. I can't. God bless America, man. Land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her. Oh, boy, man. Let me take that off the screen. What it the what the fuck? The these are the people. These are the people that you're following, man. You you guys deserve zero. Like I if you guys are coming out here complaining, y'all deserve this, man. Y'all absolutely deserve this. Let's break this down real quick. All right, what's on the calendar for Friday? Uh, Fed chair spoke at an IMF World Bank meeting in Bangkok. Um, Fed quiet Fed quiet period starts Saturday ahead of the 27th and 28th FOMC. Uh, then you have the midterms, obviously, November 3rd. That's uh two and a half weeks out from today. Uh, next week, Meta, Microsoft earnings calendar still relevant for the AI complex debate. Um, what else is there? PPI printed the biggest monthly jump since 20. Bitcoin briefly lost 80,000 uh then buyers uh shoved it back over 82K in two hours. This morning, um obviously the Fed chair talked AI, refused to tip October rates and uh and hikes odds collapsed towards 15%. Is the Fed uh blinking into the midterms or is October just dead? Let's we'll break that down today. Uh, so again, the Fed chair talking at the IMF and why that matters after a hot CPA, CPI, excuse me, and a PPI CPI. After a hot CPI and the reason why I'm thinking about that is taxes and ladies and gentlemen, the official tax season came to an end yesterday. So October 15th, 2026 was the last day for you to go ahead and submit your income taxes, okay? And if you haven't, then you will be hit with a penalty for every single day. You do already get hit with late charges, but you're really going to get smacked with some penalties. Um, so you have markets needed a signal. The Fed chair gave none and the pricing swung towards a hold right now before the Fed blackout and the midterms. So you have that a hot PPI, uh biggest monthly wholesale jump since uh March 2022. Uh September finally demand PPI rose 1.3% uh month over month and 6.3% year over year. Uh the largest monthly gain since uh March 2022. Why am I saying 2022? What the fuck is wrong with me? March 22. And the largest 12-month uh gain since uh December 2022. Goods rose 2.6%, energy jumped 10.8%, gasoline plus 20.3%. Uh, economics, you know what? I'm done with the show today. And you know why? It's because I watched that goddamn fucking video today. I watched that video and that's that serves me right. I try I was making fun of Jack and that serves me right. Um, where was I anyway? That serves me right. That serves me fucking right, man. Making fun of him. Making fun of his Spanish reaction videos. Absolutely. Where the fuck was I? Where am I reading? Okay, there you go. All right, analysts had expected roughly 0.3% to 0.6% month over month uh depending on the poll. This lands one day after CPI at 3.7% year over year. And why does this matter, ladies and gentlemen, who are tuned in? Wholesale inflation is not just energy noise in the headlines. Core readings also ran hot. And AP framed rising prices as political problems for the Republicans in the midterms. So, do with that as you wish. What else? Bitcoin kisses sub 80K. Then snaps back to 82K. So Thursday, we had a slide took Bitcoin to about 7980, briefly under 80 for the first time in a month and buyers pushed it back over 825 within about two hours. Friday, Friday morning, uh BTC held near 82K. 821, 82219. Nearly $483 million in Bitcoin and in Ethereum futures liquidated in the prior 24 hours with Ethereum about 286 million and Bitcoin about 197 million. Ethereum fell more than 6% to roughly 2350 on that flush. And why does this all matter, ladies and gentlemen? 80,000 to 84,000 bucks from earlier this week still defines the tape. A clean reclaim of 84 will confirm real demand. Another break of 80,000 would say the bounce was just short covering. I really hope that we pull back. Like I've been praying for this, I've been talking about this. I want to pull back one more time before we go up. Um, what else? Spot Bitcoin ETF keeps leaking. 261 million out Wednesday. US spot Bitcoin ETF sore about 262 million in net outflows Wednesday. Uh flipping the week to roughly 151 million net outflows through Wednesday after 681 million out of the prior week. Eth uh ETFs shed about 130 million Wednesday, 190 million for the week. XRP ETFs were the rare positive among track groups. Oh my God. XRP people are going absolutely crazy because their ETFs were good. It was a positive. And why does this all matter? Price bounced overnight without a clear ETF bid. Flow and spot are deriving again. Um, what else? Here's a hot take. ETFs are the real Bitcoin price discovery now. If they're disrupting into every bounce, 84 is a gift, not a breakout. All right, TSMC, I don't know if anybody's really interested in that. AI demand versus AI fear. We'll talk about that later. Stock Dow up 550 on rotation. AI trade still the wound. Uh, Thursday close. S&P 500 plus uh 0.3% to 7744.81. Nasdaq up 0.1% to 26713. You guys are probably bored with the traditional market, so maybe I'll go ahead and skip that as well. Midterm countdown, we'll talk about that later as well. Inflation politics meets crypto money. AP uh cast the PPI shock as a growing political problem for the Republicans with midterms on November 3rd. Uh separation, fair shake and affiliates have been pouring cash into the House races. House candidates backed at least 6 million across six races after the Clarity Act failed in the Senate. Industry debate continues over how hard to punch Democrats versus keep partisan lines open. Why does this all matter? Because two weeks to vote, basically. Crypto DC story is now spreading and messaging. Uh, not a live Senator Bill. Anyway, Should I talk we could talk about all coins later as well. I'm like racing through all this stuff. I really am racing through all this fucking stuff here. I really am. That shit made me laugh though. I can't I can't front. That shit really made me laugh. Good day to everybody who's tuning in. Great day to everybody tuning in from YouTube. From X, formerly known as Twitter. I have to say that because people do tune in on Apple Podcast, Spotify, I Heart Radio and also Amazon Music. And when I say X, they think it's drugs and it is not drugs. X is the name of Twitter. Twitter, formerly known as Twitter, I should say. Yes, and shout out to people on TikTok. Let's see who's on TikTok today. Are we tuned in on to TikTok? TikTok, have you seen the shit that I played today? Did that shit make you laugh? Oh, people are on TikTok right now. Hopefully, hopefully, the restrictions will be lifted on TikTok. I hope that the restrictions are lifted on TikTok. I really do hope. I really do hope. I've spoken to them and now I'm waiting for the answer. They should be like putting me on a pedestal at this point. They should really be putting me on a pedestal at this point. Anyway, welcome to the breakdown. It won't go into commercial breaks. We won't go into commercial breaks. Lots to talk about. Also, before we get into all that other good stuff. Bro, did you guys see this shit? Did you guys see this? Let's look at this right now. I thought I was watching AI. I legitimately thought I was watching AI. Let's go ahead and look. Let's go ahead and share the screen. I thought I was watching AI. I'm getting one. Telling you right now, I'm getting one. I I am absolutely I'm absolutely getting one. I just don't know like I was, you know what I was thinking when I was watching this? I was like, this is cool and all. Let's go ahead and look at Tesla here. This is this is dope.
[Part 2 of 7] [00:00] Don't get me wrong, it's all great. People don't know how to drive now. [00:05] You expect them to fly? Let's let's play this. [00:18] Is it not playing? [00:19] Yo. [00:32] I don't know, that is that is crazy. [00:41] That's something out of like, um, some movie with Ryan Gosling. [00:47] First came out with, um, First came out with, uh, what's his name? Oh my God. [00:55] Throwing a blank. [01:04] All right, so you have Tesla here. Tesla came out with the Roadster finally. Production or or the car will be available in 2028. I'm not holding my breath. Um, but that thing was crazy. [01:18] That was absolutely nuts. [01:23] Thank you very much. My Mitch in the background, Blade Runner. That's right. [01:30] What's his name? Harrison Ford. He did the first one, and then Ryan Gosling did the second one. [01:37] Great fucking movie. Great movies in general. I like them. But that remind the the music and I don't know, something about it reminded me of reminded me of that. [01:50] Okay, there's something reminded me. Let's take a look at one more. But again, my thought process went to like, who the hell? If I saw, you imagine, [02:01] Look at this. You imagine, this is crazy right now. [02:14] All right, on the real, real real talk, man. [02:17] Real talk. Hold on, let's hold on, real talk. [02:24] Listen, if I see tra Okay, look, if I'm on the BQE, everybody knows New York, New York, New York, and I see traffic, traffic at 9:00 in the morning or 5:00, I got this car, I'm doing this on the BQE, man. I don't give a shit. [02:47] You send me to LA. You think I'm going to get stuck on the 440? Nah, I'm I'm flying. [02:59] This this is crazy, bro. This is this was absolutely insanity. I still want to figure out because somebody told me there was nobody in the car. I thought they said that somebody was in the car. [03:09] That's absolutely crazy. I thought it was AI. [03:16] I really thought this was AI, man. [03:22] This is this is fucking nuts. [03:34] Crazy. [03:40] Can you imagine that you have AOC that said, well, AOC came out with a comment, by the way. [03:49] Before we get into Mitch and we talk about AI and some other good stuff, I want to talk about AOC came out with a comment about, um, about Elon and yesterday's, uh, activities, and I wanted to go ahead and play that before we get into obviously into the show. [04:07] Thought it's really let's look at it. I think it's a really important to go ahead and, um, really important to go ahead and listen into. So let's go ahead and share this. [04:18] AOC, again, uh, potential presidential candidate, uh, she had a lot to say about, uh, what she saw yesterday, uh, during, uh, the unveiling of the Tesla Roadster. [04:33] [Guest: Mitch] This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed. Um, [04:44] [Guest: Mitch] This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed. Um, [04:55] [David] Yeah, yeah, so that, so basically that was her comment. Uh, AOC with a comment on yesterday's show. Or well, it was a show, our unveiling of the Tesla Roadster. Uh, I have my own opinions. Obviously, I love Tesla products. Uh, love the Tesla. Okay, love the Tesla. [05:18] But Porsche pulled a move yesterday, and Porsche showcased their new, uh, I think it's called the Mission S. [05:26] Now, if you're going to ask me aesthetically, which one looks better, I'm not a Porsche guy. I think Porsche, though, is an unbelievable vehicle. I love the entire lineup. I think they do great things. Obviously, look, been around for a really long time. [05:41] Um, I think the Porsche looks better. But I understand why the Roadster is made the way it's made because obviously, it needs to go ahead and fly around all over the place. [05:51] Uh, you now have three options. You can reserve two. The other one, the rocket, uh, trim for the Roadster is only invite only. Thrust, you can go ahead and get into, and that's the one that goes zero to zero to 60 in 0.89 under it's under a second, basically. The other one's like a half a second. Okay, but it's only a one-seater. [06:16] It's wild, man. I don't know who needs to go that fast. Anyway, let's bring in Mitch. Mitch was so kind enough to go ahead and, uh, accommodate me on this part, where we could not get our technical stuff together here today. I don't know what it was. I don't know if it's a New York thing. I don't know if I have assassins that were trying to purposely not allow me to go ahead and be on this show today with you. Mitch, what's going on? How's everything going? [06:43] [Guest: Mitch] Well, you know, it was definitely those anti-Tesla AOC assassins. What else could it be? [06:49] [David] I I think it was. [06:51] [Guest: Mitch] Life is good. Life is good. We're trying to survive at the breakneck pace that everything's changing. It's a wild time to be, you know, alive, both for seeing flying cars and for the crazy AI stuff going on. But as long as you're not getting squashed by all these changes, there's never been a greater time to be building anything. [07:11] [David] You know, it's funny. I've so I've had a lot more, uh, AI, or I should say, again, super intelligence, uh, conversations. I want to say super intelligence because again, President Trump has come out with a mandate, making sure that we say SI instead of AI. Otherwise, we are the enemy of the state. So, again, super intelligence. I'm just putting it out there, but I will continue to say AI. Uh, shout out to Trump. Sorry, man, but I think it's goofy. Uh, all right. [07:40] A lot of AI talk, especially this this week on the show for the previous, I think, three to four weeks. Uh, I've been studying AI for months, implementing AI day-to-day. Have you seen an industry, and I'm going to ask you this question also, and it might be repetitive because I've asked other guests the same thing, but have you seen an industry move this fast in your entire life? [08:02] [Guest: Mitch] Yeah, I mean, look, uh, early it really depends on your vantage point. Okay, so I was working on AI stuff 10 years ago. You know, we worked on and attempted to create an artificial general intelligence at Singularity Net. And when you're familiar with the history of AI, I mean, they've been really working at this since the 40s. So, yes, things are moving crazy fast, but that's now after near a hundred years of work. I would say crypto moved faster in the beginning compared to where we were 10 years ago when the industry was in its infancy. But of course, now, you know, I think I think that's the only comparable analog that I have, like early crypto and how fast things took off. And even with how things are going now, like maybe they're taking off even faster. Who can say? That is the dream. [08:51] [David] I can agree with you from that obviously, I've been around for crypto for I've been around crypto for a really long time. I can agree with you. But I've but from this standpoint, I've never seen See, crypto changes the way we go about money in general. And then you you know, you want to add in the tech, we can go ahead and talk about the tech. That's that's not a problem. It's fixing a broken ass monetary system. So we can all agree on that. Anybody who's been in crypto a long time, Cypherpunks, we understand, we're trying to fix a broken ass monetary system. We finally understand what the value of money is. So I get that from that standpoint. And now, how lovely is it? We have all the people that used to call crypto trash are now trying to get their companies onto crypto. It's lovely to see how that all rotates and switches around. Um, but when I look at AI and the way what? Let's say we've first had a taste of it in 2021. So you go from 21 to now. The way it's rapidly evolved from the videos we've seen with Will Smith eating spaghetti to just less hallucinations, it's right more than it's wrong. You got AI bots, AI agents. I mean, small businesses don't need to go ahead and go belly up now, and I talked about this yesterday. You can just, if you know what you're doing, you apply AI agents, AI bots, and you have an entire company, small business being able to run. It's efficient, it's working, and you got more runway. Wouldn't you agree with that? [10:35] [Guest: Mitch] I think that's true, but only hypothetically. And, you know, you know that because if you look at the real numbers for how people are using this technology, small business people are not using this technology. Right? Your average small business person, if they're an AI user at all, is using this like Google search or something like that. You know, they're not actually using it to build tech. And even though, you know, we're on the frontier, we have every incentive, we're exploring this stuff. I mean, how many are you doing that and using AI for everything? I try to use it for as much as I possibly can. And even I'm not at that level where I'd like to be because it turns out you hit issues with the reliability or issues with the harness. It's like, yeah, it is magic. It's magic, it's beautiful. It's going to make our lives so much better. Our children will be beyond spoiled if they survive, you know, if they'll be beyond spoiled. But we haven't worked out all the kinks in the system quite yet. It's still like a technological magic, but it's not yet, you know, industry in the way that it's going to be over the next few years, I don't think. [11:32] [David] So here I'm All right, so I I use it day-to-day. I've implemented them into my business. Love it. But you have to be on top of it. It's not like you can let it be. You have to check, checks and balances, all understandable. I agree with you. I agree with you. 90% of the stuff you just said, I agree. There there's things that I've been able, I don't know if I look at myself as a small business, but I've been able to go ahead and implement them. And yes, beyond, uh, you know, be early to it. I think 1% of the world uses AI. I think you make a comment where, you know, people use it for people searching, kind of all that kind of stuff. And I agree with that. But I think I guess 1% out of the 1%, 10% do use it and apply it towards solving, uh, you know, or coming up with a solution for something that we currently face in the world. So I'll I'll say this. Here are my questions to you, sir. All right, you say AI gives hackers nation state capabilities. Is crypto losing the arms race right now? [12:35] [Guest: Mitch] Right. Well, you know, as we notice, we got to we got to answer carefully because you are we are the 1% of AI users today, which is a funny place to be. Finally, we are the 1%. [12:44] [David] We're the 1%. [12:45] [Guest: Mitch] Right? You got to enjoy it while it lasts. But to your question, uh, yeah, it is. It is. It you know, perks and you feel this. You feel this as an AI user in your small way where you can run a whole like podcast or studio production studio with no personnel. You can do post-production, you can do prep on shows. You can do so many things that you can do as one person. Well, guess what? Okay. What AI is best for is not managing the human side of things or arts or creative, even though it's good at that. What it's really best for today is coding. And what that makes it really good for is finding vulnerabilities. And we've taken this tool and we've given it its forte. However good you think AI is at helping you run your business, David, it is better for security, people. Okay, it is more useful, it is more compelling, it is more powerful. And if you knew how to run a hacking team, you can now set up an entire fleet of agents that is effectively your own special purpose nation state level hacker team. Whereas five years ago, you had, you know, a dozen countries in the world effectively that might be able to operate these kinds of teams. Now, every single cyber criminal with a little bit of creativity and token budget can run his own cyber attacking crew at the level of a small country. That is the new world we live in. It's already here. It's happening right now. [14:11] [David] Scary, right? That this, you know, you you think about nuclear weapons, you know, America has gone to war with Iran, you know, to stop them from developing nukes. But is AI really the new nuclear weapon? [14:27] [Guest: Mitch] It's a something. We don't really know what it is. Like, you know, historically, cybercrime has not been damaging or dramatic in the way that say, you know, the what is it called? The Five Mile Island nuclear incident was or the the incident in the town's nuclear cores in Iran when they used the Stuxnet virus to turn that off or some of these massive gas depot explosions. Like historically, nobody's really looked at cybercrime in quite that way until probably the hack where the entire Maersk shipping fleet was frozen for some days. I don't know if you remember that one. [15:04] [David] I remember. [15:06] [Guest: Mitch] Right? It was extremely dramatic because something suddenly like real people were affected and things couldn't ship and prices went up and if you were in a small country, you're like, oh, what do you mean? The shipment's not coming in. What do you mean the ship got bricked? The whole ship is just floating in the water. It can't do anything. Uh, so people haven't really thought about it up until this point, but I think we're getting into a world where yes, that is the case. Okay. And the challenge with this new cyber tense world is that unlike the real world where almost all conflict between nation states is covert, the cyber domain is a live fire zone. There are effectively no rules, no treaties, and the counterparties are constantly attacking each other with vigor through competing criminal groups and aliases. So, what this means in practice is we see this a little bit with like, of course, claims of various Russian cyber attacks, back and forth claims from American cyber attacks. We've obviously seen cyber attacks between Israel and Iran that were extremely dramatic. They both targeted each other's crypto exchanges, so it became very, very public. [16:15] [David] It's amazing. [16:16] [Guest: Mitch] But that's going to happen everywhere and there's no restraint on the behavior. Okay, that's the new normal and that's what makes it scary. Is that nuclear? I don't know. Maybe it's like, you know, very dramatic abstract sabotage that's going on everywhere. But it is going to be touching all of our lives and already is. [16:34] [David] When I say nuclear, you you know, it's it's not it's just like, you know, nuclear stuff is devastating. You know, just like you just mentioned, a small country not getting its supplies is like, what are you talking about? And that, you know, to me you could shut down who knows? [16:51] [Guest: Mitch] All these specific islands. Can't only get supplies one way. It was a rough few weeks. I'll put it to you that way. [16:57] [David] That's crazy. Thinking about it. I love these discussions because it makes you think at times. You might think you know it all, you never know it all. You sit back and you you get somebody else's perspective. Uh, August August was the most hacked, uh, month of the year. What changed? [17:13] [Guest: Mitch] Well, I think this uh, know-how, really, David, this know-how to spin up your own fleets of cyber hacking agents is starting to spread. Right? In the beginning, you really only had a few sophisticated actors early this year. You had players like the North Koreans, but they have a really a phenomenal, you know, cyber attacking crew. And they've really been at the forefront for a small country of this technology. But now I think you you're starting to see it percolate. And, you know, a ransomware crew in the Ukraine is realizing that they have all the technical sophistication that they need to run this type of cyber attacking operation to really level up their stuff and expand beyond ransomware. And they're dedicated, they're disciplined, they have budget, they may have hundreds of people on their staff. And they're realizing that they can do this to go after all sorts of country and the internet is full of unhardened targets. In fact, the whole world is full of unhardened targets at the moment. So I think that's what's changing. I mean, I'm certainly seeing that on the crypto side. Of course, you know, Immunify sits on basically all the vast majority of disclosures and vulnerabilities that go through the industry will go through Immunify directly. And we've seen almost a 10x increase in the number of critical vulnerabilities being found and disclosed. So we're seeing this this know-how percolating into our user base, into the white hat community, thankfully. And I think that what's driving that on the hacking side is the flip side, all these gray hats and black hats because, I mean, at the end of the day, these are the same communities of people just with different moral values. [18:47] [David] Liquid, uh, attackers returned most of the BTC and kept 600. Hackers or white hats? [18:55] [Guest: Mitch] That's a spicy question, David. Really depends. [19:00] [David] Come on, there's like it's a conversational show. I'm not trying to put anybody to the to the hot seat, but [19:04] [Guest: Mitch] That's a trick. You're loaded. Look, I I have a vested interest, you know, I created the scaling bug bounty model, okay, which is the model that they use to justify their take. Having said that, I was also very clear, in my view, any non-previously agreed upon bug bounty seizure constitutes a form of theft. Now, I'm not condemning those hackers at Immunify. Our job is to make it safe to disclose no matter who you are. So we will deal like we would have dealt with them anyways because that's what it takes. Our job first and foremost is to protect the industry and to protect the people, not to project our values onto other people and pretend like that's going to make a difference to saving people. Having said that, yes, of course, they stole the money and they just gave back what they wanted. That aligns with whatever code of conduct or ethics or honor that they have. And okay, I respect that. I'm happy they did that. But of course, it was a gray hat move. I won't say it was black hat because they didn't have to give back anything. They had the power to do whatever they wanted. Okay. And they still chose to give back most of the money and abide by the community standard. But they took things into their own hands and for sure a block stream would never have agreed to that deal. So I believe that is the definition of a certain kind of theft. [20:28] [David] Do you think a big [20:31] [David] Before I like I because I have other like I have a few other questions that I have for you. Um, do you think that these AI protocols, and not excuse me, get rid of why am I saying AI? I'm telling you, I've been talking about AI for weeks now. I'm super, super like super interested in everything that's AI now. Um, do you think do you think protocols are absolutely still at this point not taking AI seriously? And when when I mean by that is from the standpoint of you have you we've had protocols hacked before without AI. Now you put AI, which is like a super fucking weapon into the hands of elite hackers. And if you haven't put at least 15% or allocated 15% of your budget into cyber security, I don't know how you survive. We've seen plenty of hacks still like even beyond August that we've we've seen bridge hacks and whatnot. We've seen cold card. We've have, you know, I don't want to say AI was used in it, but you have a ledger that resellers like everybody's trying to do the right thing from a retail perspective. But there are on these things where they're told, well, we're good, we've you're you're protecting not your keys, not your crypto, and they wake up, well, guess what? You ain't got your keys and you ain't got your crypto. Are people really taking AI seriously now? I'm talking about protocols. And should retail start asking more questions and really put in these CEOs and these devs to the fire and asking them, are you allocating enough money towards making sure that these scenarios don't happen to your protocol? [23:34] [Guest: Mitch] Sure. I mean, you know, the answer is kind of implicit in the question, but the answer is no. And the real question there or the real truth is like it's not are they taking AI seriously? I mean, presumably all these guys are using it internally. They know it's technological magic of our modern day. They're not taking security seriously. And I can't tell you how many teams I've talked to, including wallet teams, who are running their audits now, you know, they're running their audits through cloth thinking that's going to work, which is a joke. It's it's like that doesn't work at all. For one thing, the the best capabilities are hidden from you. You as a random person do not get access to them. For another thing, you know, they these AI tools do not encompass all the know-how. They are very, very powerful, but they are the beginnings of what will become super effective defending tools, not the end states. And the general purpose models and tools are not sufficient for the job at all. But people are telling themselves this lie so that they can spend less money. And that's what I'm seeing. They're actually spending less money. And so they're getting destroyed over and over and over again. This is very shocking, but we are seeing the opposite lesson being learned by many protocols, where this should be a chance to take security seriously, to finally learn the lessons, to invest in your protection, that we're going into a world where it has never been easier to create hardened and safe code. Okay. But you have to put in the effort. And instead, people are learning exactly the opposite lesson. And this is ultimately leading to them getting hacked at a higher and higher and higher and higher rate because guess who's learning that lesson real well? Hackers are learning that lesson real well. They're on the frontier. They're paying attention. We're all using this tooling, okay? And most of us better than the executives at most, you know, financial companies, fintechs or protocols. So I wish, I wish, I wish more companies, more protocols would take security seriously. And like realize, you have everything there. This you could this AI is the beginning of of a truly limitless era for on-chain applications. But guess what it needs to start in end with security and most of these guys aren't doing that. [23:45] [David] Your data says tier one audits often find zero criticals. Should holders stop trusting the audit badge? [24:45] [Guest: Mitch] Yeah, okay. Um, so for those of you who don't know what an audit is, an audit is a point in time code review. So when you're writing new code for, you know, an AM or or whatever you've built, a lending protocol like a like a compound or an Avi or a Morfo or whatever have you. You need to check that it's safe. So you get an audit. An audit is like, you know, you check all the code, you see if you can find anything, you see if you can hack it, and they report back and then you go to deployment. Now, the challenge is we are now in a world where everybody is continuously deploying new software, including on-chain software. It's never been a better time. It's like cheaper than ever to ship code, cheaper than ever to ship features, and people are really doing it. It's creating so much value for the industry. It's one of the things that is ultimately driving the incredible growth that we're seeing across stable coins and the fintech integrations. So it's great, great stuff. But audits don't keep up. And in fact, they never did. You know, even after you do an audit, whatever you fix and you got to change, well, that's already changes that were not in scope for your audit, and you're deploying something that's different from what you audited. So, five years ago, this was a pretty good standard, David. Five years ago, I think it was really great to see audits. And we even got to the level where you could have two or three audits on the same piece of code. And that was a wonderful thing. And that really inaugurated the rise of DeFi. It ended the hacks that plagued DeFi summer that we had to deal with a long time. I'm not sure if you were putting your money into foolish things then, but I was. [26:07] [David] Right? Listen, I got my majors and then I got my things that, you know, you take a flyer on, right?
[Part 3 of 7] [Guest: Mitch] [00:00] Right. Well, in this era, though, all of our majors were flyers for the most part, other than your Bitcoin and such. You get well. [David] [00:03] Exactly. [Guest: Mitch] [00:06] YOLO. I get it. I was there. But, uh, now, I think the world's quite different, right? Like audits are no longer effective. Should you still do them? Yeah, I mean, you should always get your stuff checked and pen tested, 100%. You should get all of your credit audited. But the vast majority of projects need continuous security. They need security looking at their code 24/7. They don't need one audit by two guys, okay? They need 100 different AI agents and 100 different hackers controlling those agents to be scanning their code 24/7, looking for anything and everything that could appear with every new push to their code base, with every new deployment on chain. That's the level of required security, okay? And audits, they just, they were never, they were never designed to do that job. They're just a great but antiquated tool. They can't do the job. [David] [00:58] It's like, let's look at it. Okay. Okay, great. Here's a stamp. I I that's how I felt. You remember the days where CertiK would give the audit? [Guest: Mitch] [01:06] I remember. [David] [01:07] Oh my God, the contract's good. [Guest: Mitch] [01:09] Right. [David] [01:09] You know, you you had to pay the dev $150,000 to develop a solidity contract. Then you go ahead and give it off to CertiK. CertiK will charge you $80,000. By the time that's all said and done, that team has paid maybe $400,000. [Guest: Mitch] [01:23] Right. [David] [01:24] Now, here it comes out and it still gets destroyed. So, you know, we got to move to a new, we got to move to a new contract now. B2 was coming. Like, I don't know. Oh my God, I'm like memories coming back. Um, [Guest: Mitch] [01:35] It was a difficult time. That's what it means to live in the frontier, David. You understand very well. And we're still on a frontier. A new one, we're on a frontier with AI, and we're on the frontier really with the rise of stablecoins and Fintechs in crypto and the kind of merging of DeFi and CeFi into this new kind of Fintech cryptoFi thing that will ultimately be how we become multi-trillion across the world. So, it's going to be weird. It was weird then. It's weird now. We just got to, we got to figure out how to survive and figure it out. But it's going to be weird. [David] [02:07] I think we'll do a good job. We've been through everything, so I think, uh, I I hope, knock on wood, uh, we'll go ahead and be fine. Uh, a few more questions. Practical advice, what should a normal holder do this week to stay safe? In your eyes, uh, Mitch. [Guest: Mitch] [02:23] Man, that's a great question. Okay, there's a few things. For one thing, you got to learn to stop clicking on links. We're all scammed the same way, okay? We're all dumb in the same way, and we all need the same simple advice, stop clicking the links. Just stop it. Phishing links, they're all scams, the emails are scams. You're going to double check something, looks suspicious, you call your friend or whatever who's asking you to do something, you don't click it in the email, you don't click it in the channel, you don't click nothing. Okay? Very basic advice. This is going to solve, you know, half your problems for you. That's pretty fun. Second thing, for your money, move it to a multi-sig. Okay? You move it to a multi-sig, it can be really simple. You can do a two of three or something. You can give your buddy the backup wallet. There's lots of like really simple ways to set this up. You can use different kinds of wallets. You're never going to be vulnerable to this like fake ledger supply chain attack. You're never going to be vulnerable to these cold card attacks. Okay? Never going to be vulnerable to a lot of different kinds of attacks if you just use a multi-sig. In a lot of cases, it's free. Don't have to pay for it even. Just have to use what you like to use. These two things alone are going to help you a ton. Third thing, if you want to get real fancy, um, you know, get a machine that you use just for signing. So classic examples are hardware wallet, but you could also just have a phone or an old phone that you use to store a key. You could have an old computer that you use for signing. You're not looking porn or anything else suspicious on that machine. Guys, listen, listen up. Don't do it. You know, there's lots of things creeping over the internet that are trying to get access to your data and that can be used against you in various ways. Don't do any of that. You do these three things, you're already ahead of 99% of people. Life's good, okay? There's more you can do on top. I do recommend it. Here's another, here's another thing in general, looking past just saving your crypto. But be discreet about what you post online. Understand we're moving into a, we're into a world where your AI agent can check anything and everything that you've posted online, okay? And that means yours can too, right? So for public figures like us, we better hope that we've lived a standard life, David, because it's all, [David] [04:28] I'm broke. I don't have I don't. [Guest: Mitch] [04:30] People say I'm broke and I and I get it. [David] [04:31] You're you're long only stables, I believe you. [Guest: Mitch] [04:33] Right. You're long only stables, I believe you. 100%. But, you know, we got to be careful, we got to be mindful about these things because all this stuff can be checked by an agent, okay? And this is going to become scarier in a world where scamming technology becomes more widely available because cybercrime is professionalizing the same way Silicon Valley did. And they've got some crazy stuff there. I just saw a scam call the other day. [David] [04:53] They're professionalizing. They're coming in suits now. It's professionalized. [Guest: Mitch] [04:58] 100%. You would be surprised. They're not wearing pajamas, okay? They're wearing suits now, no more scullies. You would be surprised. They have very expensive tastes and they require your money to sustain them. [David] [05:12] Yeah. Um, all right. What does I am you do and what do you tell holders on price? [Guest: Mitch] [05:20] Sure. So, okay, we'll start with the second question. I never tell holders anything on price. Number one. That's not wise. That's not, that's not what we're, that we're going to be. That's not helpful. I don't have a crystal ball. I can't predict the future and tell how things exactly going to go. [David] [05:35] Why? Are you serious? [Guest: Mitch] [05:37] I know, it's crazy. But what we're doing is protecting the industry. Each and every day to the best of our ability. And we bring I am you and use I am you to do that. So the great application that people use I am you today for is called hacker pledging. They use that to bet, betting is not the right term, to pledge their tokens to different hackers in order to incentivize them to go and continue to do their work and share in their rewards, which is a scalable way to support community protection interest. All of our resources flow into this and other similar projects today. Everything that we've designed and the mission of I am you is the same as the mission for Unify the company, which is just how do we bring security problems to an end? How do we bring crime in crypto of this kind to an end? How do we make systems that are so safe and secure because the global white hat community is backing them and protecting them, okay? That you never have to think about hacks again. That's our job, that's our mission. And I am you helps with that with things like this hacker pledging program. [David] [06:42] How long have you been working on this? [Guest: Mitch] [06:45] On this? Man, I'm six years in into this business and even longer, even longer beforehand. [David] [06:52] How long have you, I listen, I know you've probably been doing this for longer than six years, but particularly this. What what made you, what made you sit back and say, you know what, I'm going to do this. I'm like, I'm going to build this type of protocol because I want to this will sound cliché and a little bit, uh, but like, really, what what made you say one day like, you know what, I I want to do, I really want to make a difference here, especially in this space. Like where it needs it. You know, like where we need leaders, where we need to show I would say a better face because you got Congress people, they're they're watching this stuff. And I'm talking about people that don't like crypto to just say, look, retail's money isn't safe. Look at that, look at that, look at August, look at all these things that have happened. Here you go. Like, look what's happening. How we need tighter regulations. We need a bottleneck to the point where retail can't even participate because that's how they do it here in America. To the point where retail can't participate, but the elites can. Like, what made you wake up that day and say, or one day and say, you know what, let me be the difference to go ahead and make sure that our environment, our ecosystem thrives. [Guest: Mitch] [08:09] Sure, that's a great question. Well, you know, first of all, I saw this happen a lot of times. So before I ever started Unify, I saw entire attacks. I saw and dealt with and had to prevent SIM swaps direct on my friends. I saw people commit suicide after having been robbed for lifetime fortunes. I saw stalkings. I saw attempted kidnappings. I saw all sorts of bullshit, okay? I don't know if I should say that on the internet, but I saw all sorts of things. [David] [08:38] No, no, no. My show's unfiltered. You might not. [Guest: Mitch] [08:40] Okay, that's good. That's good. [David] [08:41] Did you not tell him that the show's unfiltered? No, go ahead. [Guest: Mitch] [08:44] Don't check. Too much time on TV. It's old fashioned. Uh, but lots of, you know, things that I saw and and terrible things happen to people that I knew and almost terrible things happened to me. I mean, I certainly I myself have been scammed before and and been caught. Like nobody's immune to that at the end of the day, no matter how good you are at this stuff. So I knew that and I think when I, I felt like we were doing something really important in our industry. And I felt like if we didn't solve this class of problem, it's about seven years ago now, that we would be destroyed by it, we would be entirely consumed by it. And that that that prognostication proved correct when when we charted the numbers and we charted the work on the number of hacks that have occurred and how much worse they would have been with Unify not here. For context, for every hack that occurred, Unify prevented about four or five critical hacks, okay? Just just Unify, not including all of our peers as well. So, if you think about it, you know, I think that would have totally delegitimized us. If we would have multiplied by four or five times the amount of damage that we've sustained so far year over year. You know, there's $2 billion this year so far. Imagine there's $10 billion this year. If that was $4 billion or so last year, imagine that was, you know, multiply that by five times, okay, $20 billion. How much of that can we last and survive, David? Like I don't think we would have, frankly. We would have been delegitimized as a technology stack and people would have gone a different way towards ultra-centralized solutions strictly. So I felt this need, right, that we needed to prevent it and I was in a unique position that I saw the future, that I had dealt with these problems, that I knew the people, that I was plugged into the industry since I'd done so many things already. And if I didn't do it, nobody else was going to because people didn't understand what needed to be done. And and frankly, that proved true. So that's what, that's what made me get started. It was for my peers, for my colleagues, for the thing that we were creating together, for this vision of the future that I thought was going to lead to a better world. And while we've had our our troubles, I mean, things did not all go as planned over these last six to seven years, David, I think you know that for well. I am proud to say that a lot of things did. We created some some really beautiful things in a time where things could have been much darker. Right? We've all felt the kind of surveillance state creep up on us and there's a world that could have been much darker and grimmer and crypto has served as a bull work against that. Not all rosy, but in the net, a source of freedom and security for people who want to live their own lives. So, I think that that that that really made a lot of our efforts worthwhile. [David] [11:20] That sucks. You know, you talk about those situations and I always say, guys, no matter how if you lose your money, I mean, it's not worth taking your life. You can always make back that money. Uh, I I believe that wholeheartedly. Yeah, it sucks. It absolutely definitely sucks, but the last thing that you should think about is taking your life and you should seek, uh, seek out help if that's how you're feeling. I I that totally fucking sucks. And obviously the stalking and all that stuff, you see it in France, you see it in Europe. Uh, you even saw it in, uh, New York. Some some I think some guy got his fingers chopped off and stuff and held. [Guest: Mitch] [11:55] Oh yeah, there's many such cases. [David] [11:57] It it it it. It's crazy. Um, let me give you some, uh, some hitters. Uh, if you had to bet on a on the next big hack, is it a bridge, an exchange or someone's personal wallet? [Guest: Mitch] [12:11] Ooh. That's easy, it's an exchange. It's always an exchange. [David] [12:16] But do you think, well, hold on, do you think it's a hack or do you think it's an inside job on the exchanges? [Guest: Mitch] [12:21] Either or. The difference is pretty blurred at this point. But I think whereas historically, if you look into the earlier cases, inside job is the default. I think that is no longer the case. I think the new default is external hackers because most exchanges don't have the security sophistication to protect themselves against supercharged North Koreans. That's and that's that's the new MO. [David] [12:47] Supercharged North Koreans. [Guest: Mitch] [12:49] Yeah. That's [David] [12:50] They were good to begin with. [Guest: Mitch] [12:51] They were good to begin with, make no mistake. They were smart, clever, dedicated. I mean, you know, you want to eat your daily rice, you better be a good hacker. They knew what was on the line. And now they have superpowers. So, uh, yeah, it's exchanges for sure. [David] [13:06] Me and you are watching, I just played obviously, uh, the new Tesla Roadster, uh, that came out. And obviously, every Grok's in it, AI is being embedded into these vehicles. One day you get into a Tesla and it, you know, you set the destination and it it starts driving you and then it says, you know what, I'm going to take a right here. Uh, and you're like, no, follow the directions. It goes, no, I'm in control now. You see that happening in the next three to five years where something like that or or is it already in the Tesla, uh, is it already programmed into the Tesla? [Guest: Mitch] [13:40] It already happened. [David] [13:47] I'm not talking about Tesla. [Guest: Mitch] [13:49] Okay, I'm not talking about any brand. [David] [13:50] Fine, in general. [Guest: Mitch] [13:52] But you know this has already happened except we're turned right and speed up into a brick wall. Okay. And some people have died in such cases. That ship has already sailed some years ago, David. [David] [14:08] So you, do people have every right not to get into [Guest: Mitch] [14:09] I mean, this has been a popular thing at the Black Hat conferences these days. [David] [14:15] So people have every right to be scared to get into electric vehicles, essentially. [Guest: Mitch] [14:20] Yeah, I think and I think it's not just electric vehicles. It's any anything where the the the vehicle is primarily computer. I'll put it to you this way. For my next car, I'm going to get a beautiful machine from the 90s or the 80s. Something positively computerless, okay? Not European either. [David] [14:36] You know what's crazy? My friend is like, American muscle car? Uh, whatever, don't tell nobody. It is what it is. [Guest: Mitch] [14:43] Oh, something real old, man. It's got it's got to be real old. [David] [14:45] Something real old. Chevelle, GTO, who knows? You might see Mitch just you'll hear him like five, five blocks down. [Guest: Mitch] [14:54] That's right. [David] [14:55] Roaring. Because that's what my mom used to say about my dad when he got, when they came to this country, his first car was a GTO. And she heard him 10 blocks away. That's wild. He bought a used. I mean, it's not like he was they weren't they didn't make it. They made it afterwards, but they ain't, I mean, they came here, you know, just like everybody else with a with a with a a few shoes and a few shirts and, you know, the immigrant story kind of thing, you know, and waited in line the right way kind of thing. Um, man, Mitch, now I got to go ahead and rethink life. No, actually, I I I appreciate, I really appreciate you coming on. First of all, thank you very much for, uh, understanding the technical problems that we were going through and coming on at 1:05. I didn't even realize it's 1:47. So that means that we I actually did enjoy this conversation. Not, hey, listen, not to say I haven't enjoyed others. I'm just saying this, this particular conversation is very interesting because Mitch here tells you, uh, don't click links, but you guys will continue to click them. I just know it. It doesn't matter what he says. I can say, we could everybody can yell from the rooftops, you will click a link because you'll, you know, I verify everything, Mitch. Every my friends will send me a link and I'm not clicking it. Okay? Like, they're like, why aren't you clicking the link? Because I I don't click links, okay? I know what you're trying to do to me. So maybe I'm maybe I have PTSD, OCD, I don't know what's happening with me, but I know I ain't clicking that link. You say all these things, you're literally giving people an outlook of what's happening. And I hope that for those who did join in or for those who listen on Apple podcasts and Spotify, I Heart Radio and Amazon, uh, music, like you get something out of this and you equip yourselves correctly. Uh, I agree with you on the phone situation. Take a refurbished phone and you know, use that over respectfully over the cold wallets right now. I mean, I feel a some sort of way because I've gone out there and done green, uh, grassroots marketing trying to bring more people into this space. I'm sure you have also. We all the OGs have all done this stuff. And you bring people into this space, Mitchell. You when somebody says not your keys, not your crypto, you should get into these, you know, into this hardware, you should put it here, you should do this. And people do everything the right way and then they get taken and all they get is, don't worry, life's not over. You'll make it back. It's absolutely not fair. It's a black eye on the industry. Who the hell's going to come here? Nobody. And what industry are they going to attack first? A new industry like crypto, which is still new. It's still a baby and they're going to come after all the hackers are going to come after us. The good ones and the bad ones. The good ones will seek to find if you have any exploits and which is fine. They find an exploit, they go back to the devs and say, look, we found something. Reward us, that's fine. But here is the problem. And that's I'm all good with that. I'm all good with that. And there should be bounties. Hey, if you find something, let us know and then keep whatever the 5% or 10%. Whatever is negotiated. I think that's absolutely fair. Because you're not hiring them, are you? No, you're not. They're looking for exploits. Something that you're not looking for. And that's actually the sad part is the devs should be looking, they should have a team. You said 24/7 looking. You know what, maybe they holler at you. Maybe they go ahead and reach out to you so you can go ahead and help them out. [Guest: Mitch] [18:34] Bug bounties do that. I mean, we built our whole business specifically on doing that. We realized you can have the whole world of white hats who just want to help people. They'll look at your stuff for free, as long as you can be trusted to offer them fair reward if they find what's legit, okay? And that's what a bug bounty is and it really works. So there is a world. We're already in that world, David, where every single protocol in the industry can have 24/7 security by the best white hats in the world with a fleet of of AI agents that is incomparably larger than what the North Koreans can ever deploy. Without question and without equal. But, you know what it requires? It requires protocols to take security seriously and actually put up those bug bounties and adopt them. And that's what's missing today, right? For the same reason that people just want to click those links. People don't want to invest in security, they just want to believe, oh, I'll be different, right? I don't have to invest. I don't have to use the smorgasbord of incredible tools in this security golden age to protect myself and my users. And the story ends the same way every time. So, we got to learn. We got to learn. [David] [19:40] Two, one thing before you go, but I want to add in this. You know what's crazy? People are more dedicated to making sure that their cash, their worthless dollar is safe in their bank accounts. That they're they're good with the two, uh, 2FA and even the authorized all that stuff. I'll do all that stuff. But with crypto, it's like, uh, I'll get to it. I I see this cavalier attitude. Oh, I'll get to it, no problem. Oh, I can't pay $180 for, uh, you know, a cold wallet. Nah, not going to do it. You know, why would I do it? Um, before you go, have any, I know your company set up in a in a different type of way, but have any companies, you don't have to name them, but any, uh, high-level companies reached out to you and said, hey, can you just go ahead and look over our protocol? Especially again, after everything that's happened this year with hacking. Have any of them reached out and said, hey, I'd like to talk to you to see if you'd find any kind of vulnerabilities in our protocol. [Guest: Mitch] [20:39] Absolutely. This is routine. And thankfully, for the sophisticated players in the space, it's increasing in frequency. So those conversations are happening, David. There's some really brilliant people in our industry and we are helping them protect some of the world's most important pieces of software and on-chain infrastructure. So it is coming along, okay? The top end of the industry is full of geniuses. It really is. You know, it's the bottom 50% where we're trying to lift everybody up from there. [David] [21:03] Okay. That's what I want to know. Sometimes the geniuses have tunnel vision though. And they think that everything's perfect, right? Like, I mean, you don't see it. Like you don't you don't see it on yourself, right? It's kind of like one of those sayings, like you don't see it on yourself, but others like, yo, you got to you got ketchup on your suit. I mean, like, no, I don't. And it's just like, like you can humble yourself a little bit and just have somebody look it over. You got people that have invested into your protocol. The least you can do is make sure that it's safe and secure. Mitchell, you know your shit. I I I'm actually scared of Mitchell right now because he talks with this really calm voice and those are the people, if you're Eastern European, those are the people that you should really be scared of. Okay? My dad spoke very calm. I yell. I'm from New York. But like my dad was really calm. Watch out for calm people. Mitchell, it's a pleasure. Hopefully I can get you on, uh, in 2027 and we can go ahead and talk during the bull run where most activity pops off. I'd love love not that I hope it happens, but I'd love to get you on and to talk markets and obviously talk a little bit more about your company. [Guest: Mitch] [22:25] Ready when you are. There's going to be some incredible magic coming out of the confluence of AI and security in 2027. That's going to blow your mind. It's going to be amazing. So we'll have lots to chat about over the next six months. [David] [22:36] Let's let's chop that up. I I'm all for it. Thank you so much. I appreciate you. Thank you again for, uh, staying with me here, uh, through this delay. [Guest: Mitch] [22:44] No worries. Pleasure's mine. Be well, David. [David] [22:47] Be well. Have a great weekend. That is, uh, Mitch. I have the links to his company, to the protocol, to himself. I have everything out there. Guys, go, uh, you can look on YouTube, you can look on, I guess, Kick, all the channels, even X formerly known as Twitter and you can go and, um, give him a follow. If you want to contact him, give him a contact. Uh, listen, like I said, I'm going to bring on people who are going to tell you what it is. I hope people are listening. I really hope that you guys are actively listening to what's happening. Mitch is out here trying to make sure that at the end of the day, these protocols take themselves seriously. And that's in that's in my eyes. That they're taking themselves seriously. You know, we're putting money into these protocols. We are, all of us are putting money into these protocols. The least that they can do is make sure that their security is intact. I don't want to wake up in the morning because I've been through this multiple cycles. When you wake up in the morning and there's another hack. Harmony One. Two, three hacks, man. You wake up in the morning, Harmony's hacked again. It's just like, what the fuck? Come on. And then it, uh, obviously, it gives a black eye to the industry. Because these these savages are waiting. They're waiting to Senator Warren's waiting for something like this to happen so she goes out there on the floor and says, see, look, look at crypto. We got to protect retail because look look, they put their money into XYZ, it got exploited. She don't know what the word exploited means in crypto. She has no idea what a rug is. She has no idea what how an actually hack, uh, hack goes down, what whatever, pulled the she has no idea how crypto operates, but she will use that to her benefit to make sure that you who doesn't know crypto or anything about digital assets, that you team up with her and her anti-crypto army and make sure that they suffocate this industry. That's right. That is right. I want to look on TikTok and see, oh yeah, of course we were restricted. Why wouldn't we be restricted? Buck says, wow, where is all the TT viewers? Very very weighed down viewership restrictions? Yeah. No restrictions, no, uh, Buck, Bucko, every single time we go to 200, 300 concurring viewers, somebody like you, a jackass like you, comes in here and purposely reports the space. And don't worry about it. I'm thankfully being helped out by people that actually want to see me win and they're also talking with TikTok to make sure that we can have a stream without the algorithm or whoever it is, you, your family members reporting the stream for no reason. So don't worry. Stay tuned.
[Part 4 of 7] [00:00] Thank God we still got X and still got YouTube. [00:06] I can't focus on X anymore. I told you. X is something that I do not. X, we will stream to X, but I really want to build up the YouTube. By the way, if you guys, if anybody knows at this point, I'm going to try to do this myself over the weekend, but if anybody knows Instagram and how to go ahead and set it up for more than an hour, because they they are literally telling me I can only run the show on Instagram for an hour. [00:35] For one hour. [00:40] I have a two, three-hour show at times. I can't do an hour. Somebody knows a way to get around that, let me know. [00:50] They Instagram should let you stream as long as you want. What the hell are these restrictions? [01:01] What are these restrictions? Anyway, we'll be back after this commercial break. [01:05] What first got you excited about blockchains? Think about it. Oh wait. I bet it wasn't multi-million dollar hacks, exposed data, or finding somewhere safe to store your seed phrase. Was it? Maybe it was the idea of decentralizing a broken financial system. Maybe it was imagining a world where people own their own data and get to sharing the value it creates. Or maybe it was the promise of a fundamentally better way of connecting, communicating, and transacting. The next phase of the internet that empowers us instead of exploiting us. So, why hasn't it happened yet? Why are we still living with the same broken system that blockchains promised to fix? It's because blockchains can't keep a secret. Enabling open transparent systems was only the first half of the challenge. For blockchains to really change the world, they also have to be able to protect our sensitive data when it matters. And that's why we built Midnight to bring down the final barrier to mass adoption and unlock the full potential of the decentralized web. Let's build the internet we deserve. Together. [02:25] Ladies and gentlemen, we all know this in crypto, ownership matters. That's why Cake Wallet. Cake Wallet gives you full control of your digital assets all in one easy to use application. Simple, secure, self-custody. Download Cake Wallet and take control of your crypto. [03:09] This is Houston. T minus one minute until full data blackout. All eyes are on you. [03:23] Breaking news. There's an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. We have a second angle of this. [03:34] Is that guy on FOMO? Yeah, let's get back to it everybody. [03:53] Breaking news. There's an astronaut. [04:00] Opportunity cost is simply this. Every position you take is a position you choose over something else. [04:15] This just in. According to the astronaut's follow account, highest in the room, the satellite has been restored. [04:23] Yes. [04:26] For now, the crisis appears to be over. [04:40] Satellite's up and running. Positions looking good too. [04:56] There we go. United States of America representing. [04:58] Socialism does not work. [05:02] Digital assets is a better to move money at the speed of light through others. [05:05] People are greedy when they also try to acquire goals. [05:07] I am here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. [05:13] I am the modern day Tony Stark. [05:26] There we go. United States of America representing. [05:29] Socialism does not work. [05:32] Digital assets is a better to move money at the speed of light through others. [05:35] People are greedy when they also try to acquire goals. [05:38] I am here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. [05:43] I am the modern day Tony Stark. [05:56] There we go. United States of America representing. [05:59] Socialism does not work. [06:02] Digital assets is a better to move money at the speed of light through others. [06:05] People are greedy when they also try to acquire goals. [06:08] I am here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. [06:13] I am the modern day Tony Stark. [06:23] Welcome to the breakdown where you get to watch one of the sexiest motherfuckers on a microphone every single day, Monday through Fridays. Sorry for cursing. I know that's a bad thing. Um, but it is what it is. It is what it is. Should we leave it on this? Maybe we leave it on the AI agents who wins the next wave. I don't know. [06:47] Crypto security, how safe are your uh assets? I mean, we talked about all these things with uh Mitch. You guys can go ahead and um, you guys can go ahead and tune into him. I got to say that Grock bots are ahead of the game. You know, you have you have Claude, uh Anthropic with Claude, and you have uh Open AI with with Chat GBT, but I got to tell you at the end of the day, um, when it comes down to it, you know, Grock, Elon, Grock, SpaceX, or, you know, AI, whatever the goddamn name is at this point. Um, they've done a hell of a job on AI on that Grockbot stuff. They are so so, so, so effective. [07:38] I have launched them now along with my AI agents and they have done a wonderful job and it's been a pleasure to work with them. That could sound crazy, but it is a pleasure to work with them. And I got to tell you again, if you are absolutely not jumping into AI and not learning it, you are doing yourselves a disservice. You really are. You're really doing yourselves a disservice. [08:07] You should want to participate at the ground floor, which that's what AI is right now. At the very ground floor. Crypto's great. We have crypto and AI, the next big opportunity. I am telling you, the next big opportunity is in AI. [08:26] 100%. [08:30] If you missed, I'm going to say this again and I hope it gets clipped up. If you missed Bitcoin, if you you missed your favorite meme, if you missed the dot-com era, AI is in the same point of time as Bitcoin was in 2011. Do with that as you wish. And some people might say, why is David pivoting to AI and going away from crypto? I'm not. I love crypto. I can talk about Bitcoin, I'll talk about Ethereum, Solana, whatever you want me to talk. You want to talk charts, I'll talk charts. I'll tell you exactly where I think things are heading. Okay? No problem, do that. I am telling you though, there is something that is sitting here right now that is life-changing. And we'll be life-changing for a lot of people in a good and bad way. For those who are learn AI and are early to it and take it seriously, you will win or have a better chance at winning. For those who think that this is going to go away, you are crazy. [09:32] And we haven't even tapped the surface of AI or super intelligence, whatever you want to call it. Ladies and gentlemen, we have flying cars. [09:42] Let me put that in perspective for you. If you think AI is going away, we have flying cars. [09:52] Using space technology. I just I'm putting it out there. [09:58] Do with that as you wish. If you think AI is not going to do anything, I want you to understand that yesterday, Elon and Tesla unveiled a flying car. And you're going to sit here and say AI is not serious. [10:20] I want you to think about that. Oh, AI, whatever, AI. I want you to really, really sit back and think about AI and the potential that it has on your businesses, you creating a business. Guys, you can I'm I'm hoping that you get some of you guys get the book. [10:48] I came out with a book. I'm going to push it more so next month. The book is out there though. You can go ahead and buy it. [10:56] It's only $11.99. Cheaper than your random shitcoin. You can go ahead and get in from the bottom floor and understand what people are doing and how people are using AI. [11:12] Or you can just sit there and say, hey, I'll get to it. I know a lot of those people, the I get to it, I'll get to it people. I'll get to it. No problem. I know those people. They're homeless. [11:34] I was about to call somebody in because I wanted to talk to them in regards to there was a conversation that I wanted to speak about. I wanted to touch on it. I'm honestly, I am so fucking tired. Can I can I be honest with you guys? I am exhausted from from yesterday. Tax season is a fucking headache. Tax season is crazy, man. Like it is absolutely crazy. [12:19] And the one thing that I said to myself is I'm just going back to protocols. I love memes and whatever I hold, I hold, but my mentality has changed. I mean, I I've spoke a little bit about things yesterday, but I look at things differently now, man. I absolutely look at things differently. It's funny, I had a conversation with a few friends, OGs in in in the game, and they understood and they agree with my perspective. I'm like, this this place is a cesspool. [12:56] Even when I had arguments with people in Bitcoin and Ethereum and Solana, whatever, the major protocols, if not arguments, I would say debates and and and seeing if I don't know if if things can be done better, whatever the fucking conversation was. We had good conversations even though they were heated, but they weren't that toxic. When if I think back at at that point in time, we did use the word toxic, but if you compare the space then to now, it is completely and utterly disgusting, a a set a cesspool. It is absolutely a cesspool. [13:46] Like a cesspool. [13:54] I was like, I got to I got to pivot. [13:58] I really got to pivot. [14:01] Cuz these aren't memes. a lot of these things aren't memes at all. Like and and it's causing this it's causing this dirty ass environment. It really is. It's a real dirty environment where people make up bullshit and slander and stories, their own stories. It's like Disney, like it's like, what the fuck is this? And I've never even seen you people. Who are you? What cycle did you graduate in? [14:33] I don't even know why I'm going back to this, but it's like but it's one of the things that I wanted to touch on is like I want to go back to and that's what I I want to go back to the real majors. [14:46] Talk about the real majors, the the the life changers, like the Bitcoin, what I came into this industry on, white papers and protocols, building and and and doing amazing things, things and text that are that are going outside of this space. White House press secretary, what is this? I guess uh Akil Patterson was talking about this. White House press secretary faces scrutiny over bar exam disclosure. Well, I'm sure she'll let's see what the over and under is on whether or not she stays. All right? Well, we'll see what the over and under is on that. Akil Patterson is probably happy. Really? She resigned after five days? After five days? Hold on. Are you serious? She resigned? Yeah, I mean, look, her first interview was terrible, man. I said it. I said it the first day I was here. I said it was terrible. Did she officially resign? Did she officially resign? Wow. That Scaramucci, man. Scaramucci, Anthony Scaramucci, who will be on the show next month. Man, you had the record. You had the record and then what the fuck is this? Listen, when I see look, this has nothing to do with gender, but when when when I seen her on you are not going to replace the former press secretary. I don't give a shit whether you you're a Democrat or a Republican, whether you like her or not. She was really good at her job. Like she commanded the stage. She went at it with reporters. She could handle herself. When I seen the new this new secretary come in, this new press secretary her first day, you know they must have been in the Oval Office watching and they were like, wow. Not no more. This is me breaking news.
[Part 5 of 7] [00:00] Shout out to Akil Patterson. [00:01] Check out his show. [00:04] Tuesdays and Thursdays. Akil Patterson has broken the news here for Gox team media. [00:10] That the White House press secretary has resigned after five days. [00:16] After five freaking days. [00:22] I wonder up, I wonder who's up next. [00:29] I wonder who's next. [00:39] Wow. So the Wall Street Journal, by the way, is reporting that President Trump, and I don't believe anything the world, uh, uh, hold on, let me put this up here before I start talking. [00:52] Hold on. [00:55] I don't believe them. So I I'm not one to believe them. [00:59] But, [01:02] But, [01:05] The Wall Street Journal says, [01:10] That Trump gave her the option to leave her job as the White House press secretary after a rocky first week. [01:19] She didn't even last, she didn't even last one Scaramucci, pathetic. [01:28] Wow. [01:29] Look, I feel bad for her. She's a human being, obviously, but I think, I think, listen, I think as soon as she stepped onto the podium, the nervous energy, she was stuttering a bit. [01:41] I feel, look, I feel bad for her. I don't even know her. Okay? I I don't know her, but, [01:46] As soon as she was up there, even, you know, I was watching Scott Jennings, uh, talk about it on CNN, and they asked him, you know, his thoughts, which, you know what, I should just bring up here. Like, he, they asked him for his thoughts on, let's go to Scott. [02:10] Let's do this quickly and see if I can find it. Um, [02:16] excited to hire Katie Zachariah as the new White House press secretary. And she's had, um, a bit of a bumpy ride and was on Fox News last night and that didn't go super well and has done a few things this morning, but the president just a few seconds ago was on the the the north side of the White House out in front of what they call the sticks, out in front of the door of the West Wing, and he had these comments and I'm just going to play the whole thing for you right now. Here's the president. [02:46] Zachariah didn't pass the bar and how would you rate her performance? Well, Katie's been treated very badly by the media. Very, very badly, very unfairly, I think. And I just spoke to her about it. I said, Katie, is this for you? Because, you know, she's been treated very rough. And and she's a nice person. Very nice person. I've watched her for years on television. But I said, is this for you, Katie? Because honestly, you don't need this. You don't have to be treated. I would say the fake news, but just generally the media has been very rough. She was on Sean Hannity last night, and Sean was a little bit tough. And she did, I saw Fox and Friends this morning. They were up. She's been treated, uh, I would say pretty nastily. And I said to Katie, just two minutes ago, I said, Katie, you know, you don't have to do this if you don't want. She said, this is a lot tougher. I said, welcome to the world of Trump. I'm going to let her make that decision. Okay, it's up in the air potentially. Yeah, look, she's been this is a nice person, a great person. And she's been treated roughly, you know, I said, you want to really live like this. I don't think you'll ever ease up. And, you know, Caroline did a very good job. Uh, I think Katie maybe would do, but Katie's off to a start that the news has been so nasty to her. I've never seen anything like it actually. And I said, I said to her, honestly, if I were you, I'd reconsider. You think about it, but I would reconsider. You got a beautiful husband and family. I met the family yesterday. Beautiful kids. It's like from a picture postcard. And I said, you should reconsider because you don't want to go through this. What do you want her to do? I just want her to be happy. Look, she has suffered over the last few days. I'm not saying, you know, I mean, maybe it's not for her. But I said, you want to be happy in life. You I'll do whatever she wants. How much time are you going to give her? Do you want her to stick around ultimately? I'll talk to her when I get back. We're going over. [04:52] Okay, that was President Trump on the north side of the White House just a few minutes ago, making his first comments about the last week with his new press secretary, Katie Zachariah. Just to recap, uh, President told the reporters there that he told Zachariah, is this for you? He told her, you don't need this, you aren't being treated fairly. Uh, he referred to her interview on Fox News last night. Sean was a little bit tough. He said Fox this morning was a little bit tough. Uh, he said he told Zachariah, you don't have to do this if you don't want to. Uh, he said, I'm going to let her. [05:29] So Katie Zachariah, [05:33] Katie Zachariah, who [05:35] has only been the press secretary for five days, has resigned or is resigning. Um, Trump gave her the choice. Uh, I I know a lot of people hate Trump, and for whatever reason it is, whatever the reasons that you have for disliking Trump, and that's we can debate that all day long. Uh, [05:59] I think Trump did the right thing and he's protecting her in the press. [06:04] He's protecting her. He's gone out there saying, you know, [06:08] the media has treated her bad. And I and I'll say that, you know, the media has. [06:13] She stumbled and the media has absolutely tore her apart. And obviously, the Democrats have absolutely destroyed her. Whether she's good or not, forget about, forget about the conversation about whether or not she's qualified for the job or she's good. [06:33] She stumbled. They didn't even allow her a week or two to get adjusted. She's taken over for Caroline. Big shoes to take over. And as soon as, again, she got up there, she was nervous. Obviously, she was on Sean's show. That didn't go well. She went on Fox and Friends. [06:55] I mean, [06:57] I respect the fact that Trump at the end of the day had her back. [07:03] That Trump said, you know what, I gave, even if it might not, it even if it's PC and he came to her and said, listen, I'm going to need you to step down. [07:14] I'm happy to see that he's out there and he has her back, especially against the media that looks to go ahead and break everybody down. [07:23] Rip down everybody to shreds. [07:32] So we'll see who the next person is. I love, you know what, honestly, I'd love and I and I I thought it would be, I would love to see Scott Jennings be the next press secretary. I would love Scott to be it because Scott would absolutely destroy all the reporters. Like it would be lovely to have Scott. [07:55] I don't know if he's up for it. But Scott would be a really, really good choice. The crazy part about this is two days ago on CNN's, uh, nightly panel, they asked Scott this question, and and again, Scott went through it. He said she was nervous. She wasn't, you know, she could have been better. We'll see, let her let it play out. And somebody made a comment, I don't know which panelist it was. They said, well, maybe you'll have a second chance at, you know, becoming the press secretary. And here it is. Maybe Trump just says, you know what, Scott, I need to bring you in. [08:30] I need you for the next two years, especially midterms around. I need you to be out there putting out the message. I think it would be a great move. I think him bringing in Scott Jennings would be a great move for the Trump administration. [08:47] Cuz he doesn't agree with everything that Trump, you know, that Trump lays out. He's not a, he's not a maga guy. [08:56] He's a Republican, but he's not, I'm going to agree with everything that, you know, Trump says. So it would be great to have that. [09:03] It would be great to see Scott come in and man the podium. The message would get a the message would get across loud and clear with Scott. Scott don't play no games. Scott's very witty. I like, I like watching Scott. I really do. [09:21] We don't have to agree with everything, but like I like watching that. That man is polished. He knows what he's talking about. He understands politics. He understands the the country, policies, everything. [09:35] He he's somebody that wasn't a big fan of Trump. It's documented. [09:46] So we shall see who the next press secretary is. May uh oh. Have the memes gone out? Maybe it's Mark Rubio. Maybe they'll make Rubio fucking president, uh, press secretary. [09:59] Rubio, man, this man is, this man is filling every job in the White House. [10:13] Rubio is, yo, I, yo, honestly, I would die laughing. Rubio, [10:19] They should make Rubio, at this point, Rubio is everywhere, man. [10:24] He got every job title. You might as well just throw him this one if Scott don't take it. [10:32] If Scott don't take it, fuck it. Let's go to Polymarket. So let, let's go to Polymarket, cuz what did Polymarket say about this? [10:42] What did Polymarket go ahead and say about this? We should look. [10:49] We should look. Let's look, let's look. [10:52] Let's go ahead and pull that up. By the way, if you download the application, use the code breakdown, you get $25 when downloading Polymarket. [11:04] Let's go to Polymarket right now. Let's see what's going on. [11:09] All right, so where do we stand here? Uh, the Senate midterms, [11:16] 61% Democrats, 39% Republicans. That number keeps on adjusting. So who knows what happens here. The House, 90% Democrats, 90% there's a chance that Democrats win, 10% chance Republicans win, or hold, I should say, both Republicans. 39% hold the Senate, 10% hold the House. We shall see again. Also, the US presidential election winner in 2028, they have JD Vance at 22%. And I think it definitely will be a Republican that wins. The nomination for the presidential nominee in 2028 goes to JD Vance at 43% and 18% for Rubio. I think they're going to absolutely be the ticket. [12:03] They will absolutely be the ticket. [12:06] I'm trying to look for, though. I'm trying to look for, [12:12] I'm trying to look for how long she should have lasted in office. [12:20] Or how long did people have her lasting in office? I can't, I can't see it here, so I'm going to, I'll have to look for that. [12:28] Man, New York Governor's race. They have, uh, Hogel winning at 94%. [12:36] Hogel at 94%. I don't know how people vote for her. I I don't understand how people are voting for her. Anyway, [12:45] Midterms 2026, visit polymarket.us, download the application, use, obviously, use the code here, use the code breakdown and get $25 when downloading. Okay? $25 when downloading the application when using the code breakdown, okay? There you go. [13:10] Shout out to Polymarket. Great sponsor. [13:15] We shall see if they're right. I'm back. Like, these are your favorite influencers. [16:16] Hold on. [16:17] Hold on. [16:22] I'm trying to find this one where he, [16:32] Hold on, I got to find this, man. [16:35] Cuz it's wild. [16:44] Hold on. [16:48] Where is it, man? Where the fuck is it? [16:56] Hold on. Let me bring on Razmir. You know, [16:59] I want to show you what's happening with, I I want to show you the state of your trenches. You know, y'all talk a lot of shit about Moa. Let me fucking, let's look, you know what? Let's, before I put this up, [17:20] Y'all talk a lot of shit about good people. You slander really good people. [17:25] You slander people that are trying or have built things, have done things in their lives because, I don't know, maybe you didn't get your way. Maybe you didn't get to go ahead and milk a person. [17:37] Yet, the real people that have absolutely destroyed this space, not a word mentioned. [17:47] Y'all jump into their projects. You don't give a fuck. [17:52] What do they say, nice guys finish last? That is the truth. Nice guys do finish last. [17:59] Because all the villains here, [18:02] all the villains here, you don't mind them. Let let's go ahead and play Jack. Let let's listen to Jack and his thought process on the meme economy. [18:12] On the memes. Let's let's play, let's let's go ahead and uh, bring this in. [18:18] I thought it was fascinating. I I watched this yesterday. I thought it was really fascinating. [18:24] Let me go ahead and switch. By the way, let me switch cuz this isn't crypto. Let me switch this shit real quick. [18:35] Let's go ahead and bring myself in here also. [18:40] So Razmir apparently sat down with Jack, and Jack, you are more than happy to come on my show. [18:45] Let's go ahead and listen. [18:50] wrong if you do it. Yeah, I multi wallet. I multi wallet. Don't you multi wallet and bundle coins? So so why are you saying bundling is wrong if you do it? Yeah, I multi wallet. I mean I'm not I'm not deploying in in. How many wallets? Three three, four. Yeah. How much supply are you willing to hold total between three or four wallets? It depends on new pair. On new pairs I don't even think about it. I'll I'll I'll I'll buy I'll buy No, chat is calling major cap, bro. Like like chat is like saying LMAO cap cap LMAO. Like they're spamming faster than they spam all. at a time on on on most on most my buys at a time like a a a multi. It seems like the same multi I use. most people. How many wallets is it? Uh, so like four wallets, four wallet multi. Whoa, what? They're saying you have 300 wallets, bro. Uh, in total wallets that I've used probably like, I don't know. Yeah, like a lot. But in terms of like like again, like I'm I'm not buying like 80 wallets on a coin though. But I but I go back and forth between wallets. For sure. But no, I'm not I'm not I'm not buying 80 wallets on a coin. The people who like the like when I like wield that one coin fucking, what was it called? And that was like that was a good. Although to be fair, by the way, like that was post bond that I was just slamming my port into. And that was like I had every wallet and just loaded it into the chart and since then, you know. Bro, okay, obviously chat thinks that you're like bundling way crazier than four wallets. There's a lot of people. No, I I buy no, like I said, like on new on a new pair of coin, like I'll buy a shitload of a of a of a coin on on a new pair. I'm I'm buying whatever I can on a new pair. What's the most you're willing to get percentage-wise? Uh, I don't know. I'll buy like 10 sole and then like like like if it's bad, I just sell immediately. On a new pair. Like what? [20:47] What percent is that? Like 30? [20:51] 13, maybe 15. Like like on a new. Oh, you shit. Yeah, but we're talking about like if like 5K market cap. We're not talking about it 500K market cap. [21:00] Okay, and you're profiting. Whatever 10 sole is. You're profiting on 15% of a of a coin, right? Uh, no, I mean it it it's a like I'm saying like I'm buying a lot and then most times I insta drill on myself and then and then go next. For new pairs. If I'm buying a coin post bond, I'm buying, you know, 2, 3%, 4% maybe if it's low. But like if it's high coin, like the, you know, super intelligence coin I slammed, I bought 2% of that. [21:36] What what can I say? What can I say? [21:41] What can I say? [21:44] Here you have in 4K, [21:47] shout out to Razmir for, I'll say, shout out to him for asking the question, [21:52] cuz some people won't ask the fucking questions. [21:58] Here you have somebody who's just telling you exactly what he's doing. [22:06] But he's paraded. [22:08] I don't even know who, I don't even know who he is. [22:11] Let me let me just say that. I've never even heard of this guy. Up until recently, I don't even I have never even heard about this guy, Jack. Respectfully, I've never heard about him. [22:26] And I don't want to use him as content. I'm just telling you what I've been saying all along is reality. [22:33] That's really it. Everything that I've said for so long, it is right here in They're just coming out in 4K and telling you, hey, it is what it is. [22:50] They're telling you it is what it is. And the sad part is, [22:55] the good guys are the bad guys. [23:00] But the bad guys are the good guys. [23:08] I don't know about the react, where's the react? I don't know the reaction video. I I haven't seen the reaction video. [23:13] But this is this is what I mean. This is what this is what you have. [23:17] You have here you have this this person, [23:21] where is it, man? [23:24] Where the hell is it? [23:28] Where are the videos, man? [23:30] Where are the videos? [23:35] Man, I I can't my my head hurts scrolling down. [23:41] This is too smooth. It's a whole vibe. I love it. [23:53] My only question is, my only question, if somebody can answer me, [24:03] He says he doesn't know Spanish, but how does he have a Spanish accent? [24:09] If he doesn't know Spanish, well, listen to this. If he doesn't know Spanish, how come he's speaking with a Spanish accent? [24:17] Oh, this is too smooth. It's a whole vibe. I love it. [24:27] Now, [24:50] Now, I would like to say, well, I can't really be a representative of the Jewish community because I've got kicked out. I currently am waiting for my Jew card to come back. So I can't, I can't, I can unofficially make a comment, but it's not official. But I see Jack got a Jewish star hanging on his neck, okay? So all I would like to say is, this is not a representation of the Jewish community, man. Unofficially. Unofficially. [25:27] I'm I'm just I just noticed that, okay? I just noticed that. I just want to say, [25:36] I ain't dancing in my office like that, man. What do you mean he's not Jewish? He's not Jewish? Why is he got the Jewish star? [25:46] He's not Jewish? What is happening here? [25:51] What is what is happening here, man? What is happening? Let's let's what is this? [25:58] clapping for Diddy. Diddy, make sure all his artists got the best beats. He might [26:03] Okay.
[Part 6 of 7] [David] [00:02] Do y'all hear this beat? Do y'all hear this beat? Hold up. Let me just go ahead and say, you know, I know I always clown on Diddy, but bro, I got to clap it up for Diddy. Diddy make sure all his artists got the best beats. He might [David] [00:17] All right, so, all right, hold up. I I I'm losing it a little bit. One video, in one video he has a a Spanish accent. And the next video, He had, hold on, in the next video, he acting like he from from Bedsty, Harlem World, Coney Island, Marcy Projects, Brownsville, the Upper East Side, the Bronx, the Boogie Down Bronx, acting like a JLo backup singer. Acting like he was in Diddy's video with G Dep and Black Rob. I'm looking for the next video I'm looking for is a country video. Somebody, somebody tell me he he did a reaction video to Garth Brooks. Somebody tell me that he did a reaction video to Garth Brooks. I got to know. This is a reaction video to a reaction video to a reaction of an accent video. Yo, Jack, uh, I just want to ask you a question. How are you feeling about Jack, how are you feeling about uh Diddy and this new track that he came out with? How how are you feeling about him? How are you feeling about this, man? How do you feel about 112 here, man? [David] [00:22] Do y'all hear this beat? [David] [00:23] I hear it. [David] [00:24] Do y'all hear this beat? [David] [00:24] Yeah, yeah. [David] [00:25] Hold up. Let me just go ahead and say, you know, I know I always clown on Diddy, but bro, I got to clap it up for Diddy. Diddy make sure all his artists got the best beats. Yeah. He might [David] [02:36] Got it. [David] [02:43] Now, hold on, man. Can I say one thing though? I mean, respectfully, the song was dope. Like 112 was a dope group. I ain't like look, yo, Bad Boy got some players, bro. You got you got Mace, you had Notorious B.I.G., Little Kim, 112, Black Rob, G Dep. Like, the list goes on. You had a lot of, I mean, Mary J. Blige was a part of Bad Boy. Like, you had a lot of good you had a lot of good people. Shine. Like, I'm into hip-hop, so I know. Like, you had a lot of good people. All I want to know is, this man's a chameleon. This man is Spanish, Jewish, African-American, apparently hometown is Brownsville, New York, or maybe from the Catskills where where Tyson grew up. I don't know what's happening. Where is he from? I have no clue. Anyway, this is your favorite rapper's rapper. What? Am I wrong here? Like, I'm not picking on him. I'm just saying, I don't know. I can't get rid of this accent. I'm from New York. I can't get rid of this thing. Like, I I can never play games on the phone. Like, if I would change up my voice on the phone, you'd still hear the accent. You really would still hear the accent. You're like, oh, that's that's David trying to trying to be like he's from the South. Yo, when people used to tell yo, when people used my boys used to tell me, yo, David, prank, can you prank call the car service? Prank call the car service company. I'm like, bro, they going to know it's me. Change your voice. Bro, I can't change the accent. Forget about the voice. You think they're not going to hear me? This man is on I got to tell you, man, this man is on some next level shit, okay? I don't know. He might become successful after this. I I'm going to keep it real. It might not be in crypto, but he might be, yo, he might do reaction videos. He'll probably make more money on reaction videos. I'm just saying. He's able to change his Yo, he's a triple threat. This is crazy. You know what I mean? This this track was dope as hell, bro. This shit is hard hitting. Uh-huh. This shit was hard hitting. We this shit, oh, this shit hit hard. 112. Yeah, Mace and Betha. You know, you better watch out. You better watch out. Then he comes on reacting to Aladdin video. He's like, sounding like Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin on the track. Did he do a reaction video to Livin' La Vida Loca, man? Like, I want to see that. I want to see that. I want to see that shit, bro. Shout out to Jack Deval, man. This is this this boy on some next level. Anyway, welcome to the breakdown. Episode 806 sponsored by Midnight, also Polymarket, Cake Wallet, and Fomo. Man. What do you mean Rasmir's freestyle? I haven't what do you mean? He has a freestyle? Let's look for it. It's Friday, man. I'm looking I'm looking, man. I am absolutely looking. Let's let's see. Hold on. Rasmir's freestyle until what? I don't know. My my shit is like delayed. Let's see. All right, let's go to this. I mean, um, this is a fellow, um, I mean, he's sponsored by Fomo. I'm sponsored by Fomo. I mean, let's go ahead and put on a a Fomo cat here. Let's go ahead and put on a Fomo personality. Let's freestyle from Rasmir. Let's see the freestyle. [Rasmir] [08:08] If you think you're cool, cuz you can get some hoes, and you can get some money, and you can get a job, that's way easier than what does. If you knew the struggle of deploy on your fucking face. If you knew the fucking struggle of some shit on your fucking face. If you knew the fucking struggle of being the same fucking coin and you, you would understand. But you don't. But you don't. All these homeless people think their lives is hard. But if their life was hard, they'd be in the. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. [David] [08:50] I don't get it. [David] [09:45] Guys, just be honest with me, man. Is this what I got to do? Is this what I got to do? Like, do I got to take off the suit and just wear like shirts and just plain shirts with tees, like really get really drippy with my with my outerwear? Like, is this what I got to do, man? Like, do I got to freestyle? Cuz I can freestyle. Do I got to freestyle to win you over? The trenches? Do I got to freestyle to win the trenches over? Hey, nothing against Rasmir. I love you know what? One thing I'll say, I fuck with people that are willing to get on the microphone and spit. No doubt about it. I'm from Brooklyn. All right? I'm from Brooklyn. We freestyle. We put bars together. I love the fact that people whether you think they're good or not, I respect the fact that people get on the mic in front of everybody and try to spit a bar or two. Do I got to do this? Like, do I do I need to rip off the suit and shit and just start freestyling? I went wrong somewhere, man. I went wrong somewhere, man. I I absolutely went wrong somewhere. Now, where I went wrong is is what I'm trying to I'm trying to figure this out. I'm kind of confused. I mean, I could play some freestyles and and things that I've that I've put I I I I fucking give up. I I I I fucking give up. Like, legit, I give up, man. I'm just waiting for Frank D. God to start fucking making rock and roll music at this point. I I I I give up. Is everybody dropping a mixtape? Are we all is everybody dropping the mixtape? I mean, Jack Deval is about to go ahead and and and drop drop the hottest 45 minutes of salsa music, him dancing to salsa. I mean, I Do I need a mixtape? Wow. I don't know what I'm doing. I actually don't know what I'm doing. What what am I doing? What the fuck am I doing? I'm dressing up in a suit every day, speaking to notable names, we're talking about, you know, how to achieve, you know, how to seize the opportunities that you have here, whether it's in America or outside of it, how do you become a multi-millionaire, you know, what what what projects to look into, how AI is speeding up. I'm out here every single day talking about these things, talking to people coming on to the Like, I I'm absolutely confused. I don't I don't know if I'm doing this right. So, I guess, do I need to be sensational? Is that what I need to be? Sensational, crazy. Do I have to be the old DG of 16, just be absolutely bat shit crazy? And then you have the TJR guy coming out and saying, the haters going to hate on Jack Deval because he wasn't scared to go ahead and put his face on a camera or some shit. What who are these people? Who fucking are these people? Like, I don't understand. I I honestly don't understand. I I I don't understand where I'm at. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't get it. [David] [14:48] Y'all hear the music or no? Do y'all hear the music? I think y'all don't hear it. I got to put this together. All right, let me put on the music. All right, I'm I'm going to put my music on. [David] [16:34] Y'all hear this? [David] [18:02] All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. All right. One day I'm going to freestyle battle with somebody. If you guys have tuned into the show, y'all know that I freestyle before. But I'm looking at this. Do do we need to all drop mixtapes? Is that is that what we're doing now? Is that what we're doing now? Mixtapes. Um, again, AI, I got the the book out on Amazon. You can go ahead and cop that if you want. If you're interested in AI, if you don't know how to use AI and you're interested in figuring out how you can use AI to your benefit, you can go ahead and cop that book. I'm writing like two I think I'm going to write out a book a probably a book a year. I have one for 2027. And I think it goes to a new level with AI. Um, AI, digital assets, but mostly AI, because I think super intelligence needs to be go we need to talk about it big time. We just we absolutely need to talk about super intelligence. It's big. Um, that's it. It is 3:09 p.m. on the East Coast. I've enjoyed my time looking at some of these things out here. Uh, I think it's I I don't know what to say. I I I I don't know what to say. I I I don't know. I don't fucking know what to say. I wish I knew what to say. I have no idea what to say. I think, um, I think I think nothing. You know what I think? I think absolutely nothing. I have nothing to say. I don't know what to say. I have nothing to say. I think it's wild. I think it's wild. You know what's wild? You know what uh, you know what makes me kind of kind of smile is it's what I said earlier. You you have you have the good people with good intentions. They get dragged, but you got these cats that are talking about bundling shit and dumping it on your foreheads. Hey, man, these these people, I love them. Man, they're great. They're great. We love these people. We love these people. I guess that's what it is. I guess that's what it is. I you know, I I if you look back at crypto, if you really look back at crypto, for those who have been around as long as I have, crypto has always been fascinated with people that are erratic. Shout out to Bitboy. I think he's a cool cat, but Bitboy Bitboy was going crazy, boxing, all that stuff, people were tuning in. I can name so many people. It's always like as long as you do crazy shit, you get noticed. And you know what? I love the fact that I don't have to do crazy shit to get noticed. I I I I love the fact that long term, the brand success and health will be immaculate versus doing some short short again, short term bullshit that gets you absolutely nowhere. 15 minutes, great, but it really doesn't get you nowhere. So, it is what it is. It is what it is. I hope you guys, listen, if you guys love these guys, man, God bless, man. you should follow anybody who you want to follow. Go into things that I guess go into whatever they go into and and pray for a better tomorrow. I guess, there you go. I spit a bar. There you go. You can rewind that. That's a bar right there. Maybe you should follow people and hope for a better tomorrow with these type of people. Cuz it's damn well bullshit when when I hear, I want to vomit when I hear this, but when I hear people say, you know what? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. We're in this because we we feel we feel like we want to be a part of the No. No, the minute, I'm telling you right now, there's no change. It's actually it's actually worse on social media than it is in real life. The moment you say no, niet, nah, it it nah. Nah. Nah. Anyway, thank you for tuning in. Thank you for Mitchell for coming on today. Appreciate him coming on. Shout out to all the guests that came on this week. It was a pleasure to go ahead and speak to you guys. Thank you for everybody who tuned in. It is Friday. It is 3:13 p.m. on the East Coast, three hours back on the West. Shout out to everybody who who was out here grueling yesterday, like me too. Getting their taxes done. [Guest] [21:17] I think Chris, there's room behind you. [David] [21:18] I am I'm exhausted from that. I really am exhausted from that shit. That marathon. That's a marathon. They got to make it, you know what? They got to make it easier. They absolutely got to make it easier, man. You got to make it easier for people to understand. You you just it it it has to be an easier process. 100%. For those who actually do pay taxes, it has to be an easier process to go about this stuff, because it is an absolute fucking headache. It is. All you for people that are paying taxes, all you want to do is pay your taxes. That's it. You want to do it correctly and you're trying. It shouldn't be that complicated, man. It really shouldn't. It should not be that complicated. But shout out to those. And um, yeah, shout out to this entire space. Shout out to the AI cats. We got a lot of people that are coming on for AI. We got a lot of uh notable names coming on next week and November, December, we're getting booked up. It's nice. Uh, that we got some really uh big time names that are going to sit down and chat a chat with your boy DJ. That's right. And again, I don't know. I'm just going to do more AI topics cuz like I am absolutely fascinated uh with the next leg up of AI, cuz I I've watched I'm telling you Grox Grox AI bots are are absolutely phenomenal. If you have not used Grockbot, you are absolutely missing out. Shout out to everywhere. Thank you. The quote Should I do quote You know what? No more quotes. I gave you three quotes. At the end of the day, just be good to people. That's it. Be good to people. And that that's really it. That's the best the best that you can do in life is just be good. That's that's it. Everybody's going to have an opinion on you, but at the if you know who you are, then you have nothing to worry about. I'll say that again. Everybody will have an opinion of you, but if you know who the fuck you are, then you're good. There you go. There's your quote. Then you're good. Keep doing your thing. Keep hustling, keep building, keep striving to for something. That's it. You owe nobody nothing. You owe nobody nothing, okay? You're building a brand. You did it yourself. You owe nobody not a goddamn thing. The only thing is you owe yourself to just show up every single day and deliver. Shout out to everybody. We will have our time. The Satoshi, the Auggie, the dumb money. We will have our time. And so will the movement. The movement will have its time, and it'll be on my time and nobody else's.
[Part 7 of 7] [00:00] this time. [00:01] And that's what I, you know, I think that is literally the message I've been this. You know, I'm I'm only I sit back here now more calm and relaxed. I'm like, my message will, somebody I think, somebody said, the movement's dead. Who told you, who told you my movement's dead? Maybe your movement's dead, my movement ain't dead. [00:23] My movement ain't dead. See, that's the difference between people who know how to build and people who are here for money. People who have every intention of draining somebody or taking money from somebody, they're not building, they're looking to build off of your wealth. When you're sit here and you're a builder, you've built before and everybody who knows me knows that I've built and I continue to build. [00:44] There's a way that you go out and lay out real foundations. Not fake ones, real ones that are everlasting. [00:53] I really, I can't wait. I really want it, like I I can't wait. And you know what, even if it's not me, you know, I kind of thought about this the other day. Even if it's not me who gets to go ahead and lead, let's say, uh, the next Wall Street Bets movement. Even if it's somebody else that does it, I'm going to be absolutely happy to be on the front lines there and trooping away. And having a great time the way we did in 2021. So, [01:22] [clapping] [01:24] That's it. I'm done. I gave you the quotes. It's Friday. Go have some fun. Go get a tan, go get some air, okay? Go get some air, get some get some, you know, color in your face again, okay? And go work out. Ain't nothing wrong with working out. Anyway, shout out to you guys. [01:40] Till the next time, Monday. [01:44] [sound of a machine gun firing] [01:49] [sound of a machine gun firing]
