[Part 1 of 6] [David] [00:00] We've issued eight billion dollars worth of digital credit this year and the most successful IPO of the year was stretch, it's STRC, it was two and a half billion dollars. I couldn't have done any of it without AI. If if we had not had AI, we would be eight billion dollars less. We five IPOs, none of them would have happened because I used AI to design the securities and solve all the tax problems and all the securities law issues. You know, so I like I'm a big believer in using AI to design new things. And look, I'm just I I focus upon digital credit and security, but there's someone there thinking about how to make the car drive and cure cancer and like like aren't there like a hundred million problems a human race has to solve that we that you're like, well, you're going to need a thousand people with PhD to solve that. Well, guess what? Now every 16-year-old has a thousand PhDs at their fingertips and so I'm very bullish. The world's going to be a much better place and and we're going to see an age of empowerment and abundance because of digital technology. [Caller] [01:11] People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. Not really. I mean, people who buy gold are trying to preserve. centuries. We have centuries of people being greedy to go ahead and acquire gold. Well, no, well, you're talking about to acquire wealth. Yes, people are greedy in that they want they want more things. There's nothing wrong with that. But when they're converting what they've earned into gold, that's not the greedy part. That's the preservation part. I I I've I've earned all this money because I was greedy. Now I don't want to lose it. I want to store it so I can use it later. I don't want to blow it all right now. I want to hold on to it. And, you know, gold is a way to do that. You can't really do that in a fiat currency that's just being printed, you know, into oblivion. So, uh, but but but you know, the greed is in the speculative frenzy that accompanies Bitcoin. [David] [02:04] They tell me that I'm the reason they own Bitcoin because they listened to me years ago about economics, about sound money and and and the Fed and inflation. And I'm the one that got them. Plus, there's a lot of utility in Midnight that's going to make the use of Cardano safer. Like Midnight Passport will be the fastest, safest and easiest way to use Cardano. So, we gain all the usability that can't be done with Bitcoin. Plus, I'd argue Midnight is an essential component for Bitcoin. The Bitcoin D5 stack. When you look at that side of it, you're like, okay, Bitcoin users, they want privacy. So, Cardano could do a lot of the heavy lifting on the programming side, but what if the private coordination layer is just on that? So, we're actually working on with Hogan, our Bitcoin D5 setup, where we call it the the circle. So, you start with Bitcoin and Taproot. I'm going to put 50 Bitcoin of my own money into this. It's free Bitcoin. It works. So, you start with Taproot and Bitcoin. You lend it to a stable coin. So, that'll occur on Cardano through a specialized transaction through the token bridge. And then that stable coin would then be deployed into a yield bearing instrument. And then as you make yield, the yield is converted to Bitcoin and then it's sent to your Taproot. And then Midnight coordinates all of this, right? So, you have like all three networks working together, and you have this circle, and then from the Bitcoin user's perspective, it just gives them a button. Make money. Click the button. And then it locks their Bitcoin, they just start generating a yield. The security actually enters the Taproot on the Bitcoin network. So, it meets my three rules that I have for Bitcoin D5. One, there's only Bitcoin. No other token. [Caller] [03:38] Bitcoin, Litecoin is better money than than fiat obviously, also better money than gold. I I think it's I believe it's the best form of money that um humans have ever come across. Right, money being good, being that it's um it's inflation proof, right? No one, no single person, company or or government can print more money, right? Can print money and inflate away the money you're holding, uh, you're storing, right? That's kind of one of the key things about money is if you work hard, you make money, you don't want that money to kind of disappear with time, not from your own doing. Right? So that's that's key and Bitcoin, Litecoin and uh most cryptocurrencies, um, is able to to do that. [David] [04:25] I could have the argument that real estate's better than Bitcoin. For a number of reasons, by the way, depending on who you are. Um, your audience can probably disagree, but they're probably a bunch of, you know, Bitcoin maximalist. They don't have as much Bitcoin as the real estate guy. By the way. No, I I'll tell you right now, hold on one second. See, that's the funny thing, dude. That me and my brother were talking about this yesterday. You know, the guys that know the most seem to have the least. [Caller] [04:54] 100%. That that I can probably agree with you on. [David] [04:58] I think it should be a bigger issue within the crypto system and the ecosystem. What do you think? [Caller] [05:03] I think it will be. I think privacy is going to be the the new if you want to in my view, and this is what I'm tasking the investment professionals at Mailstrom to sort of figure out. I think that the stand out shitcoin or, you know, few shitcoins of 2026 to 2028 will be related in some way shape or form to privacy. We already saw the, you know, amazing move of Zcash over the last few months. Yes, it's down 50% from the 780 high, but I think again, my goal is, you know, my mental model is 10 to 20% of the value of Bitcoin. That's where Zcash comes up. So much higher than where it is today. But, you know, taking away Zcash, what is the token project or protocol that's going to utilize some privacy technology, probably something related to ZK or knowledge proofs, to do something whether that's quantum resistance, you know, yeah, over the reds can't de-anonymize your data or, you know, see what we're doing, whatever it is, right? These are the things that we're latently afraid of of of what bad things that could happen with this proliferation of big tech, big government. [Caller] [06:12] Donald Trump getting elected, knowing that we share friends in the White House for all the populist parties of Europe who are under attack. Every single populist leader. If you look at the leaders, and my last documentary was called Silence. I got 18 months in prison for my last documentary. The reason I aired it was because the documentary was so bigger than me. It's exactly what they're doing now there has been waged against if you go through, I pick anyone. Pick Herbert, the leader of the Dutch party. Pick Marine Le Pen. Any politician in Europe, yeah? Anyone. Pick anyone who has stood up and tried to speak against immigration and you will see a history. Matteo Salvini, who was written two days ago, the deputy Prime Minister of of Italy, was prosecuted in 2020. They said he kidnapped because he stopped the boat. He was prosecuted in 2021. He was in charge of other crimes. The process is the punishment. Every political leader who's tried to step up was charged. You saw it done to Bannon, you saw it done to Stone, you saw it trying to do to Trump. That's happening across the board. Every of their authoritarian state. But I think it's probably because we elected Trump. I'm very optimistic about the future. More because it's not because we're not in control. We're going to assimilate the public already. The public are awake. [David] [07:30] So the other thing about here is just quantum power, you know? We're going to have a new attack in this 2023 collection and certain races that were actually going to be launched are still in play because the money's coming in. And I think things like the cardiac alive, which has been changed a lot. I've had many conversations to try to get it into a better shape and hopefully September 15th, we'll actually be able to get it up and launch. We have a lot of ops in here for that. They're all in cases of injustice. I thought they I don't think anybody realizes how much work's gone into it. I talked to Jared, I said, is there anything that's terrible? He said, you know, we worked on this three times longer than Obama worked on this. And that was a response to 2008 financial crisis. [Caller] [08:15] politics and the need to get crypto and our industry out of these partisan debates, out of these partisan issues. It's really not healthy to treat any technology as some kind of political pawn. This isn't about Republican, this isn't about Democrat. This is about freedom. This is about giving people access to their assets online. It's about allowing them to transact globally without an intermediary. It's about the economy of self-innovation. It's about future finance. This isn't about Frankfurt versus glue. We really need to get out of that. They've been very negative on Bitcoin and crypto. They've even public statements calling it rat poison 2.0 or Pep rocks or, you know, name your name your funny name. Now the same institutions have now understood that this is not a fraud. This is here to stay and oh, we need to get a piece of the pie as well because of the. [David] [09:09] If I had a genie and three wishes and I could make gold better, my first wish would be shrink the supply to 21 million coins and make it illegal to make it more. And my second wish would be make it invisible and teleportable and indestructible. And let me carry as much gold, you know, in my pocket as I possibly can. And my third wish would be make it programmable, so a billion AIs can trip teleport it and transform it a million times a minute so that I can put it on a, you know, a billion computers and and have it have it get traded back and forth 37,000 times while I'm sleeping, right? And I would think digital gold as I just described it, it's got to be better and more valuable than physical gold and especially in the 21st century when you're looking at 10 billion people. [Other] [09:56] What first got you excited about blockchains? [Other] [10:00] Think about it. [Other] [10:01] Oh, wait. [Other] [10:05] I bet it wasn't multi-million dollar hacks, exposed data, or finding somewhere safe to store your seed phrase. [Other] [10:12] Was it? [Other] [10:13] Maybe it was the idea of decentralizing a broken financial system. [Other] [10:19] Maybe it was imagining a world where people own their own data and get to sharing the value it creates. [Other] [10:29] Or maybe it was the promise of a fundamentally better way of connecting, communicating, and transacting. The next phase of the internet that empowers us instead of exploiting us. [Other] [10:40] So, why hasn't it happened yet? Why are we still living with the same broken system that blockchains promised to fix? It's because blockchains can't keep a secret. Enabling open transparent systems was only the first half of the challenge. For blockchains to really change the world, they also have to be able to protect our sensitive data when it matters. [Other] [11:00] And that's why we built Midnight. To bring down the final barrier to mass adoption and unlock the full potential of the decentralized web. [Other] [11:08] Let's build the internet we deserve. [Other] [11:11] Together. [Other] [11:16] Ladies and gentlemen, we all know this in crypto, ownership matters. That's why Cake Wallet. Cake Wallet gives you full control of your digital assets, all in one easy to use application. You can store Bitcoin, Litecoin, Zcash, Monero, and many more with just one secure backup. [Other] [12:00] This is Houston. T-minus one minute until full data blackout. All eyes are on you. [Other] [12:14] Breaking news. There is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. We have a second angle on this. [Other] [12:24] Is that guy on FOMO? Oh, yeah. Let me for real. Crazy, crazy. Yeah, let's get back to it everybody. [Other] [12:44] Breaking news. There's an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite. [Other] [12:51] Opportunity cost. It's simply this. Every position you take is a position you choose over something else. [Other] [13:06] This just in. According to the astronaut's FOMO account, the highest in the room, the satellite has been restored. [Other] [13:14] Yes. [Other] [13:17] For now, the crisis appears to be over. [Other] [13:30] Satellite's up and running. Positions looking good, too. [David] [13:44] There we go. United States of America representing. Socialism does not work. Digital assets is a better to move money at the speed of light. People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. I'm here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. I'm the modern day Tony Stark. [Other] [14:07] I'm the man. I'm the man. I'm the man. Yes, I am. [David] [14:20] Welcome to the breakdown. Episode 800. Episode 800 sponsored by Midnight. You also got Polymarket, Cake Wallet and Promo. It's nice to see everybody here. It is 12:45 or 12 what is it? 12:46 p.m. on the East Coast. Three hours behind on the West. Welcome everybody. Thank you very much for tuning in to YouTube. That's right. We what? What was it? Two, three weeks ago, we flipped over to YouTube as the main hub for the breakdown and anything that I do. Uh, we do still stream on Twitter. We do stream on Kick and TikTok. Shout out to TikTok. We had our biggest audience on TikTok since they lifted the ban on us. I don't know why we're banned, but we're back. Um, apparently they think the overlay is unoriginal content, which is wild. Any or somebody sitting in there reporting. Regardless, it it is what it is. We're streaming everywhere. I am so close to finally integrating Facebook and Instagram. I'm going to make a new Facebook page, okay? I'm going to make a new Facebook page. Put it up there, link this up. We'll go ahead and uh I talked to some people at Facebook or Meta, whatever you want to fucking call them. And um they're helping me out with that. Instagram, man, Instagram is tedious. I got to log in every single day in order for it to stream out here. it's crazy work, man. I hate that, but it is what it is. It's still another channel to go ahead and stream on. Anyway, episode 800. Episode 800, man. I thought episode 800 was going to be, you know, all the all our majors and everything in crypto is going to be going parabolic and instead it's pulling back. I did say I was anticipating a pullback. I wanted a pullback. I hope it goes into the 70s. I have no problem with it going into the 70s. That means I'll be able to go ahead and buy stuff for cheaper. So we shall see what happens. We'll see. Bitcoin can't crack 87. Like 87 it just hits right back. It's it's fighting $87,000. Now, could things change in a moment's time? Absolutely. Absolutely. In a moment's time, Bitcoin pops off with a $10,000 god candle and we're sitting at $92,000. It could happen. I've seen it happen. It's not it's not wishful thinking. I've seen it happen. We shall see. I you know, highly unlikely. And and maybe just maybe right now, and I know this is conspiracy theory shit right now. But 10/10, right? October 10th, it is two days away. October 10th, 2025 wasn't a good fucking day. It wasn't good at all. A lot of people lost their asses. A lot of people, a lot of veterans, a lot of OGs, a lot of businesses lost their asses on 10/10. Now, we've talked about this. Landy was on here and Landy, you know, has a different perspective on 10/10. But again, whichever way you want to look, 10/10 absolutely liquidated a lot of people. A lot of people that put all their eggs in to the basket got liquidated. Terrible, terrible, terrible time. I remember people making fun of me for saying you should be in stables right now. It wasn't the exact date, but you know, I said, hey, man, it's not bad to be put some of your shit into stables, man. Especially, especially when we're not in a bull market. I don't know. And I also tweeted about this. I tweeted about this or I posted about this on X and I said, I don't know, man. I I'm happy either way we go. If we go up, if we start rocketing up, I'll be happy about that. Pull back, I'll be also happy. But I do feel, I felt it in my gut. You can't just keep on going up and it up and it up and it up and it up and it up. You can't just keep on going up, man. At some point, people are going to take profits. People are going to say that the markets are manipulated. Okay? Right now, I'm sure if I go on to social media platforms like Twitter, I'm not calling it X because it's confusing the fuck out of people. But if I were to go on to Twitter and I would take a little gauge here. People are be screaming about how the markets are manipulated. And I'm going to keep telling you guys this. If it's manipulated when it goes down, it's manipulated when it goes up. The market makers, the institutional sons of bitches, they are smart, they know how to work the market. So you sitting here saying it's only manipulated one way, you're crazy and you haven't learned nothing. You really haven't learned nothing. Yesterday, I also found myself in a space until 4:00 in the morning. And I knew I was working. I was doing things. I was working. I'm really working on something really cool. And I just I seen a space. I go in. I said maybe 10, 20 minutes. I'm in there for fucking four hours. I knew it. I knew it. Terrible. I'm not saying the space was terrible, but terrible on my part. Knowing that I got a show to do. Knowing that I got to go ahead and talk about crypto. And I got to talk about politics and AI. I go to sleep at 4:30. Then I got to wake up. Wake up what? 6:30. I hardly get through my fucking exercise. I'm cross-eyed and shit. Absolutely cross-eyed. If you're waiting, if you have liquidity on the side, I don't know. I sound like a broken record at this point. But if you do have money, if you have if you have cash flow as Grant Cardone would say, if you have cash flow on the side, you got that liquidity. You should go and look at everything that's happening right now and identify things that are worth getting into. I'm going to give you Bitcoin. Now, are you going to get the same Xs with Bitcoin that you would get on Solana? No. You're obviously going to get way more Xs with Solana than you will with Bitcoin. 100%. No denying that. But I don't care. Everybody should own a piece of Bitcoin. Whether it's 0.1, whether it's 0.2, whether it's a half a Bitcoin, whether it's a full Bitcoin, everybody should at least have some sort of some sort of skin in Bitcoin. Period. You should have a piece of Bitcoin. There is so much shit you guys go into that you I mean, you lose your asses on it. You're chasing shit and I talked about this yesterday on the space. A lot of people are out here chasing chasing plays when we have not even entered the bull market. I don't know how many times I have to say this. We are not in a bull market. Your favorite influencer telling you that we're in a bull market, they don't understand how to read a chart. They don't understand how markets work. We are not in a bull market. We have bullish sentiment. Yes, we're all excited. People are willing. So what is bullish sentiment, right? I keep saying bullish what is exactly bullish sentiment? Bullish sentiment is that people are willing to buy in these areas. People are willing to buy Bitcoin at 60,000. People are born or or excuse me, born. People are willing to go ahead and buy 65 Bitcoin. $65,000 Bitcoin. $55, $55,000 Bitcoin. People are willing to do so. What the fuck, man? That's what happens when you lack sleep, man. That's what happens when you don't get enough sleep. I'm like, what the fuck am I Anyway, but $55,000 Bitcoin, $60,000 Bitcoin, $65,000 Bitcoin, $70,000 Bitcoin. People are willing $45,000. People are bullish on these areas. When you're in a bear market, people and with bearish sentiment, nobody's bullish on anything. Except the people that know how to make money. People that know how to make money do not mind going in into anything at any zone. I don't care if Bitcoin goes to 30,000, I'm going in. I don't care. That's my mindset. I'm not saying that should be your mindset. But I don't care. I'll go in. Right now, this is a gift. Everybody who is sidelined, everybody who is caught off guard with this recent rally of Bitcoin, okay? If you are caught off guard and you have your money, you have your you had you are patiently waiting to go in and buy more Bitcoin or buy more Solana or buy more Ethereum, which we'll talk about where I said I I think Solana has a chance to maybe flip Ethereum. And now holy shit, this is going to get clipped up. What did he just say? Solana has a chance to flip Ethereum? Yeah, absolutely. I have content that I created yesterday that I'm going to put out today on Instagram and YouTube and TikTok where I talk about Solana being the new Bitcoin for the new generation. I'm not saying it's Bitcoin. I'm going to make sure that you guys don't twist my words. I'm not saying it's it's going to take over for Bitcoin or that it's replacing Bitcoin. I am saying that people are viewing it as their Bitcoin. Number one, the price is low. So now people that are looking at Bitcoin, they're going, you know, Bitcoin's at in the 80s. I don't have $80,000. I don't have $81,000 to spend. Unbeknownst to them, they can buy a fraction of a Bitcoin. They don't know that. They haven't been told that. They haven't found the right community that can tell them that you can buy a fraction of a Bitcoin. You don't have you can spend $500 a week. Automatically buying a fraction of a Bitcoin. They don't know. Again, they don't know. They're just coming in. Their friend Charlie came in, made a million dollars on some random meme coin that's on Solana and they want to know how do I do the same thing because my friend Charlie is stupid. I'm smarter. That's the mindset. That is the mindset of a lot of people that are coming in.
[Part 2 of 6] [00:00] the space. [00:01] And a lot of people see Solana as a cheap as a cheaper asset to get into. Not that it that it's worth less, but it's a cheaper asset. It can do multiple Xs versus what Bitcoin can do now. [00:17] And they have a chance to get rich. That that's how they think. And I I can get rich by entering Solana now versus if I go into obviously Bitcoin. [00:28] What is the better choice? I would tell you honestly, you should be holding Bitcoin. But I also understand the other perspective. If I go into a Bitcoin room right now, they'll be talking about furniture and all types of things that are not related to Bitcoin. And then they're going to give me shit as a new person. If I ask a question, they're not going to answer it. [00:50] They're going to be toxic maxis. [00:53] They're going to show me how tough they are on the internet. [00:58] But if you go into a Solana room where people are talking about Solana products, [01:03] different story. Listen, I can I can easily show you the difference between a Bitcoin conference and a Solana sponsored conference. Go look at token 2049. [01:20] The Solana events, it is almost like you are going into [01:31] some how do I even explain it? There is some sort of aura there. [01:37] It it's alive. It's not dead. It's full of people with energy. [01:43] People are excited. People can't wait to talk about Solana and what's being built on it. You go to a Bitcoin conference and everybody's stroking themselves about when they got Bitcoin and how they're never selling. [01:59] And it's the same speech every single conference. I listen, I love the Bitcoin conference. Thank you so much for inviting me and the company down there to to cover their event, but [02:11] it's the same people talking about the same asset over and over and now it's the banker's token. Excuse me, the banker's coin. It's the banker's asset. It don't have the cyber the Cypherpunk feel to it anymore. That's cooked. [02:29] It don't have that energy. You got a lot of respectfully, you got a lot of older people that are sitting there and talking about the macro. [02:40] People that are coming in here, they don't know about macro they they don't they don't know anything about the economy. [02:54] I watch this on a daily basis. Obviously, it's my job as somebody who hosts a show every day that runs a news outlet to to look at these things and identify them. And there's a there's a feeling. There's a feeling of having a chance to win on Solana and having a chance to build on Solana versus Bitcoin. [03:28] And and then you talk about Ethereum. And Ethereum is absolutely 100%. I don't know, I don't know what happens with Ethereum, to be honest with you, man. And people call me an Ethereum maxi, even though I consider myself a Bitcoin, but people call me an Ethereum maxi. Well, here the Ethereum maxi wants to tell you that Vitalik dropped the ball big time. [03:57] Even though the Ethereum Foundation itself already had some sort of problems, they don't have a treasury where they can take out money and pay people. [04:11] And Vitalik's too busy writing novels while he should be busy building. [04:18] I don't know I I don't know what happens to Ethereum. It has to have Robin Hood and base Robin Hood and base. That's it. That that's if you are hoping that Ethereum hits $10,000 per per coin just like I am, you're praying that Robin Hood comes and saves the day. [04:37] That's it. Robin Hood and base. That that is what you're praying for and you're hopeful for when it comes to Ethereum. Because because otherwise I I don't know. They should have never Ethereum should have never left proof of work. It should have never left proof of work and gone to proof of stake. I mean, I'll stand on that. I don't give a shit what people I really don't I don't care. I I that was their biggest fuck up by doing that. [05:09] And then all these L2s that pay Ethereum nothing, pretty much nothing in return. They're caking. The L2s are caking. Ethereum isn't really seeing much from that. It's like they see 5 to 10% of the revenue from these L2s. That's crazy. [05:29] The liquidity that Ethereum has is just going to L2s. [05:36] And now people are making fun and and this is another thing I want to touch on. Y'all are a little bit crazy. And I and I said this yesterday on on the space that I was on. You'll have people that are actually happy that things are not working out in the crypto space when they see abstract closed down its doors. People are celebrating and cheering the downfall of an L2. I I don't understand what happened to you guys as children. [06:11] What literally happened to you guys as kids? [06:16] Were you bullied? [06:19] Did somebody fuck up your lemonade stand? [06:23] Why would you be cheering whether you like the person or not? Why would you be happy that something isn't working out? It is to our benefit and the benefit of crypto that things do work out. [06:39] You want things to work out in crypto. You don't want them to go backwards. [06:46] It's really disappointing to see people being so happy that things don't work. [06:53] It is crazy. Really mind-boggling. We are this space is is I said this yesterday. It's a little it's it's a smaller version of Silicon Valley. It really is. This is our Silicon Valley. [07:10] We should be building and we should be thrilled when people are winning because if they're winning, there's an opportunity for you to win as well. [07:20] But instead, you are praying for people's downfalls. What is wrong with you guys? Seek therapy immediately. There is something wrong with you if you are absolutely rooting for people to fail. [07:36] Especially people that are putting their necks on the line to win. [07:44] Like people are trying to build things here that would ultimately help you and your experience and maybe bring you some wealth in this space. Yet you're rooting against it. [07:58] It's a real real it's really frustrating. [08:03] And now I can understand why more people are leaving Twitter because Twitter was home to crypto. Let's let's not make any there's no doubt about it. Crypto was home. Crypto, the home for crypto, Twitter. Crypto, Twitter, home to to cryptocurrency conversations. Now, people have slowly left. They're on YouTube. They're on TikTok. They're everywhere but X. [08:36] Formerly known as Twitter. [08:39] Who the fuck would want to come here? [08:42] Think about it. [08:44] Who would want to be here? [08:49] If the constant talk here, if the constant conversation here is about praying for people's downfalls, it's about arguing on spaces. I want to tell you guys, you go on spaces and you argue for hours. You waste your energy. Energy you can use to learn how AI works, how prompting works, to get ahead in crypto, to front run the markets. You're busy on spaces. [09:20] Like it's people's court. Like you are going through who was in the wrong in a conversation. [09:30] Praying and talking about downfalls. By the way, let's talk about this word motion that I also spoke about on a space last night. [09:42] All this talk about motion. Elon Musk has no motion. Right now, there's no liquidity for any motion. Your favorite influencer doesn't have motion. Three or four people are jumping into things and people are assuming it's going to go up. There is data available for everybody. The average market cap in this space goes up to $6 to $700,000 market cap. That's it. [10:11] And if something does shoot up, it goes right back down because people are so thirsty to rotate the fuck out because they haven't seen money in two and a half years. [10:22] So all this motion, motion, motion talk, it means nothing. There's no money. [10:30] Nobody got money. [10:33] People are already invested into certain whether it's crypto, stock market. People have their money allocated elsewhere and they're holding. [10:44] There's no new money. Let me repeat this again. There is no money. [10:51] Save your motion talks. Talk about motion when the bull market comes back because that's when trillions of dollars will be coming into this space and all your even your dear tier your tier D influencers will have motion. The crackhead from the corner will be able to send something. Okay? Right now, ain't nobody sending shit. [11:22] I listen, it's the you know, again, it's the numbers. You look at the numbers, you look at the stats and they tell you everything you need to know. [11:30] I don't go by what people say. I go by what the numbers are saying. The numbers are saying, they ain't nothing happening, okay? [11:39] Now, if the Republican Party wins, we're going to get these $5,000 checks. If you vote for the Republican Party, you will be eligible to get a $5,000 check. The only thing is the people on the fence that voted for Trump are saying, well, where's my dose check? And I'm a Republican, but I'm keeping it real. [11:59] People are still waiting for the dose check. We can't make excuses either. [12:05] The people thought they were getting a dose check and a lot of people went to Macy's and to, I don't know, Sam's Club, Costco. Name the goddamn people were spending money like they had it. And then all of a sudden, hey, man, we ain't got no money. Or we ain't sending shit out. [12:25] So now when Trump comes out, and I love Trump. I voted for Trump. We're both New Yorkers. Trump comes out here talking about a $5,000 check. [12:35] I mean, people are looking like, yo, I still didn't get this dose check. [12:43] Where's the dose check? [12:47] I'm just saying, man. [12:50] There's one thing that I always will do. I'll keep it 100, man. [12:54] I'm a proud Republican. I think Republicans running the United States of America is a better thing because we get, you know, this whole woke shit. This whole woke from the left and right is is wild, but at least the Republican Party will tell you there are only two genders. And so we're not confused, okay? [13:20] That it's not okay for men to be competing in women's sports. I mean, I voted for normalcy, okay? That's what I voted for. [13:30] I voted for crypto and I voted I voted for us to get back to to normalcy. That's what I voted for. To get back to normalcy. To where we can actually speak without having pitchforks surrounding us and saying, hell no, he must go. That's what I voted for. [13:56] Okay? That is I'm not down with all this crazy nonsense. But speaking again on on finances, [14:07] it's great that $5,000 was mentioned to people that vote Republican. [14:14] But again, there are people on the fence that are saying, well, hold up, where's the where's the dose check? [14:21] Where's the dose check? [14:24] But then you got to sit back and also think about this. [14:29] You got the the Democrat socialists, which the Democrats are at fault for because the Democrats, the old school Democrats that are sitting in office right now, they are so fucked because their hatred for Trump made them align with the socialist party, which is really like the communist party. And now they have infiltrated the Democratic Party. And now the Democrats are fighting with the socialists. [14:58] And now even the socialists won't endorse the socialist. So you have Bernie Sanders and AOC that won't even endorse a socialist. [15:10] And then themselves have said that they are socialist. It is so confusing. The Democrats are absolutely all over the place. Yet, yet, with all the confusion and all the infighting within the Democratic Party. The polls are showing that they are leading in red states and they're obviously leading in blue states. And then they have the opportunity to take over the House and the Senate. [15:42] Now, could that could it all be wrong? [15:47] Could it all be a dream? Could it all be wrong? [15:52] We shall see. I mean, the polls said that Hillary was going to be the president of the United States of America. That didn't happen. [16:00] So things can be I mean, what's her name? Kamala Harris was supposed to be the president of the United States of America. Trump had no chance. Look what happened. Polls were wrong. [16:13] So we shall see. [16:17] We shall see what but I'm telling you, you got the Democrats that are in a complete mess. The there is no leadership. Nobody knows who the fucking leader is. [16:28] Yet they're leading the Republican Party. You got Senator Thune who won't fucking apply the filibuster to get the Republican agenda pushed through. It's the crazy I'm telling you right now, it is the craziest shit that I've ever seen. By far. [16:46] This is one time that I can say that looking at politics, this is the craziest time. [16:55] And the craziest shit that I've ever seen in my life. [17:00] Trump also claimed out today and said, and now I got to verify this, but Trump said, if you don't start calling AI SI, then you're the enemy. I'm paraphrasing here, but what the fuck is happening? [17:18] Y'all got to be calling this shit super intelligence or you're going to get spanked. [17:28] I'm going to look that up real quick. Hold on. Let's look that up. [17:33] I I think he said it, man. I was reading my early reports today. [17:40] Let's see. [17:42] He did say it. [17:46] This is this is crazy. I mean, Trump, you're you're crazy for this one, bro. This is absolutely Bro, you're my boy, man, but this is nuts. [18:00] You're my boy, but this is absolutely insanity. Let's go ahead and look at let's look at this real quick. Let me pull this up. This is crazy. This is crazy, man. Even I got to call it crazy, man. [18:15] This is fucking up. All right, so here it is. Donald Trump. [18:23] Donald Trump has come out and said, let's read this from Eric. President Trump officially declares anyone who calls super intelligence AI is the enemy. The White House considers anyone that uses the term artificial intelligence as opposed to the highly accepted new and more accurate term super intelligence, the enemy. President Donald J. Trump. This comes after Elon Musk corrected himself when he accidentally called it AI while the name was still fresh. 47 is also seeing Elon today. Call it SI. And again, this is a real tweet. The White House considers anyone that uses the term artificial intelligence as opposed to highly accepted to the highly accepted new and more accurate term super intelligence, the enemy. That is President Donald J. Trump. What the fuck is happening? [19:24] What in the fuck is happening? [19:32] Oh my God, man. Oh my Lord. This is wild. [19:42] This is wild. Uh, welcome to the breakdown episode 800. We're 800 episodes in, man. If you're tuning in from Apple podcast or or you'll be tuned tuning into Apple podcast today or Spotify, uh, I heart music along with Amazon music or Amazon podcast, whatever they call them. Uh, thank you very much. Appreciate you. Appreciate YouTube and TikTok and everybody who does follow. TikTok's been giving me a headache, man. Yesterday was the first day we broke out. We broke out of that algorithm. [20:23] We really did. We broke out of that algorithm. Oh, it's 146 people. My God. Until what? Until I show up and that shit's going to they're going to restrict our visibility, but we are we are really live here. 141 people. [20:40] And that's again, that's just one stream and that's why I'm so proud of everything that we have built here. [20:46] I am so proud and believe it in myself. And I'm proud that you guys have decided to tune in to this network, to this show and give me the opportunity to break down the news for you and break down trending news and and and have conversations and bring on some of the most notable names and non-notable names onto the network and onto the show to have discussions that are real and that are necessary. So I appreciate you guys. Thank you so much. Thank you. Shout out to TikTok. If you can share this, if you could share this stream TikTok with all your friends, I'd appreciate it. I got to do a giveaway already. I got to do like a $1,000 giveaway. [21:28] I really do. YouTube is next. We're taking over YouTube. We're taking over TikTok, okay? We're taking over Instagram next and Facebook. I'm going after the video platforms, bottom line. Video platforms is where it's at. [21:44] I went ahead and left I left I didn't leave I don't want to say I left I didn't leave I don't want to say that I left Twitter. [21:57] I don't want to say I left Twitter. It's just that Twitter and the algorithm. I don't know what's happening. One day we're working, the next day I'm getting three likes. Okay? I don't know what the I am tired. [22:10] I'm about to give out my own stimulus package, $1,000. [22:16] Anyway, I will moving forward so the president does not spank me, I will be calling formally known as AI, I will be calling it super intelligence, okay? Super super super duper intelligence is here, ladies and gentlemen, and you better call it for what it is. [22:37] Super duper listen, man. [22:41] I ain't fucking with Trump. Okay? I ain't fucking with Trump. I'm not fucking with the administration, man. I'm going to talk my shit, but holy fuck. Okay, like when he's coming out on Twitter and talking about you ain't if you are not calling AI super intelligence, you are the enemy. Nah, bro. [23:01] Nah. [23:05] I think I don't know if he's trolling. [23:08] We got to figure out if Trump is trolling on this one. [23:12] I hope he's trolling because I'll call it whatever the fuck I want, respectfully. [23:24] I'm just saying. [23:27] People are going to start thinking I'm a Democrat with the way I'm talking. [23:32] People are literally going to start thinking I'm a Democrat. [23:36] For the last week, I've been saying like, hey, man, I've been I I I've said, look, I'm not going to blame the Trump administration for what's happening in the Senate where the senators can't pass anything. [23:51] And they refuse to pass anything and they obviously have an agenda against Trump. They don't like Trump. [23:58] They don't. They still view Trump as a Democrat. [24:04] I'm not a Democrat. Stop that. Stop that. [24:08] And listen, there's nothing wrong with being a Democrat. God bless you. If you as long as you're normal. I would consider myself a Republican who's who probably leans more as an independent. That that's what I would probably say. [24:25] That that's where I'll go. You can't vote for Democrats now. You can't vote for a Democrat. What are we talking about? [24:32] Democrats hate capitalism. They want to tax the shit out of everybody. How are you going to vote for that shit? [24:39] Listen, I I respect anybody who's a Democrat, but hold on. You like paying 90% taxes? Let let's keep it real. There is no incentive to be an entrepreneur in the United States of America when a Democrat's in office. They want you paying 95% in taxes and you can keep 5%. [25:01] What's the argument? What's the consistent argument with Elon Musk? Oh, Elon Musk is a trillionaire. They don't even understand how that works. Elon's a trillionaire on paper. He's not actually, he doesn't have the liquid. And they're like, oh, Elon's a trillionaire. He should give half of this to the United States of America. [25:26] What? [25:28] What is the point? [25:30] What is I want to ask, what is the point of being an entrepreneur if there is no incentive at the end of that rainbow? [25:46] Here's how we incentivize you. We know that you've created jobs with your with your entrepreneurship, with your businesses. We know you've done a hell of a job, you know, putting factories in Illinois, in Ohio. You've given people jobs, opportunities, health care. So in turn, we're going to tax your ass.
[Part 3 of 6] [David] [00:01] What? [David] [00:04] Yeah, we're taxing you, bitch. [David] [00:07] For doing a great job, for for creating more jobs in the private sector, we're going to tax you. [David] [00:15] Wait, hold on. I thought if I become an entrepreneur and I build businesses, [David] [00:21] that I would be appreciated. [David] [00:28] Why would anybody, like think about this. Why would anybody want to become an entrepreneur? [David] [00:39] Why would anybody, [David] [00:42] there there's no incentive. You'd rather be on welfare. [David] [00:46] You'd rather be on welfare, you're not paying that much tax for the money that's being given to you. You can lay out on the beach and smoke newports. Why the fuck would you want to, why in the hell would you want to be an entrepreneur where you're you have no you have no life, you're building 24/7, you have no vacation time. [David] [01:07] The first five to seven years of your life being an entrepreneur is just building and getting no's and people saying no to you. Banks saying no to you to lend you money. You are getting no's all over the place. [David] [01:20] Why in the hell would you want to be an entrepreneur? [David] [01:27] You might as well be on welfare. [David] [01:31] You'll probably get paid more marching for things you don't even believe in, become a protester and get paid money. [David] [01:46] Bro, with I think we're doing it all wrong. If you really take a look at this stuff, [David] [01:52] it's like, man, these these protesters that don't give a fuck about the topic, they're going to pay a grand a day. [David] [02:01] Here's $1,000, go march saying that, you know, Trump's a dictator. Okay, whatever. Where's the $1,000? Here you go. I'm marching. Hell no, no kings. Hell no, no. Fuck it, I'll do the same shit. [David] [02:18] Give me a G. I'm in. [David] [02:21] And there we go. [David] [02:24] Now again, live visibility restricted for unoriginal content. [David] [02:30] I can't win, man. [David] [02:45] I'm just going to try something else with the appeal. Again, I get again, again, again, unoriginal content. What what have I played here? [David] [02:57] What have I played here, TikTok? [David] [03:01] I'm telling you, and that's what I'm saying. Democrats just now or the protest or or the the campaign managers for the protesters said, no, no, no, David, you're saying way too much. We got to shut down your visibility. [David] [03:18] This is ridiculous, man. [David] [03:21] Look at this. We were at 150 and now because they went ahead and put that fucking restriction on, I can't I fucking get I I I can't do this. With TikTok, they they TikTok's killing me, man. [David] [03:37] TikTok is really killing. Let's see if the appeal works. Let's see if me going another route with the appeal, let's see if it works. I'm watching carefully. [David] [03:49] I'm watching carefully here. [David] [03:55] Look at this, man. Look at this. And I love TikTok, man. I really do. I love TikTok. I've had some phenomenal conversations on TikTok. [David] [04:07] And this is what this is how they treat a verified personality. A truly verified personality that did not have to pay for a check mark. [David] [04:20] I'm waiting. They better overturn this shit. [David] [04:27] They better overturn it, man. [David] [04:30] Anyway, welcome to the breakdown. This is episode 800. 800 episodes of the breakdown. 800 times officially that I have put on my suit or I should let let's rewind. Officially got up out of bed, worked out quickly, washed my ass, brushed my teeth, got my hygiene together, put on my suit, [David] [04:58] looking dapper as hell, [David] [05:02] and turned on that camera and put on this microphone and came on to discuss the trending topics in the world today, especially crypto. Crypto, which I loved and still love. Bitcoin, which has opened up my eyes to all the fuckery that surrounds us. [David] [05:26] All the fuckery that surrounds us in this current world that we live in. The monetary system that is absolutely shot. They are printing money nonstop. That's a bar, by the way. That's a bar. [David] [05:41] But they're printing, the elites are making money. [David] [05:46] Before Bitcoin, before crypto, you were working towards what goals? I'm going to I'm going to be the next manager of this company. Ooh, watch. Watch in 10 years when that application comes my way and I apply, I will be the manager for this company. [David] [06:08] Think about how far we've come. [David] [06:11] Think about how far we have come. [David] [06:16] Think about how you right now have learned so much in terms of finance and how to work your finances in crypto. Think about that. [David] [06:31] I want you to think about how you're succeeding, a lot of people are succeeding and educating themselves because of the crypto space. Without crypto, you'd still be working at Wendy's. Or you'd be applying to be a manager at McDonald's. And again, there's nothing there's nothing wrong with working at a fast food chain. [David] [06:56] Okay? There's nothing wrong. If you are currently right now flipping pancakes at IHOP, there is nothing wrong with that. I was a stock boy, okay? I've been working since I was nine. I was a paper boy. I had my paper routes. I was a stock boy. I was a pizza delivery kid. Okay, like I did all that stuff and I didn't need to. I did it because I wanted to be independent and I was always independent. [David] [07:21] I wanted and I've always wanted, I always knew what the value of money was. [David] [07:33] Always worked. [David] [07:36] That's why I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. Even though I was in a successful career and I was super successful, I still pivoted. And I said, you know what? I want to build something of my own. [David] [07:50] I want to build something of my own and that leads me to AI. [David] [07:55] You can absolutely use AI to build a million dollar business. 100%. That is fact. The next businesses will be run by one or two people and the rest will be ran by AI agents. [David] [08:18] For those that take AI or excuse me, super intelligence seriously, you will win and you will win big. See, the people that are scared to lose their jobs due to super intelligence coming around, they're scared because they're not willing to learn. [David] [08:40] They're not willing to adapt to technology. [David] [08:45] That's the problem. [David] [08:48] You're only going to lose, you're only going to lose your job if you don't learn super intelligence. If you don't learn how to prompt, you will then lose your job. Yes, you will. And maybe just maybe you'll be out there doing manual labor. [David] [09:09] Until the robots take over. [David] [09:15] Until the robots take over. [David] [09:19] But if you if you're paying for open AI or chat GPT or Anthropic's Claude, if you're paying for the use of these of these platforms, there is no reason why you're not making money. You should be making $4,000 a month minimum. [David] [09:44] If you have an internet connection, if you have a computer, there is no way that you're not making $2 to $4,000 a month using AI. [David] [09:57] There are so many issues currently that small businesses face that need solutions. If you are not using AI, excuse me, super intelligence, [David] [10:13] I don't know what to say to you. [David] [10:16] I really don't know what to say to you. [David] [10:19] You know what? You're just a lazy son of a bitch. [David] [10:24] You're just absolutely lazy. There are so many small businesses that have absolutely no clue how to use AI. They are burning tokens. They are hiring people that don't even know anything about super intelligence. [David] [10:43] They are burning thousands of dollars. [David] [10:48] And you can come in and and of course, if you learn it, you can come in and you can dominate. [David] [10:57] I'm thinking of contacting some automotive dealerships. [David] [11:01] Cuz I can go ahead and streamline their process. I can save them thousands, if not millions of dollars a year by putting together AI for them. They don't know how to do it. I like I can do it. [David] [11:16] And on top of that, I can help them accept cryptocurrency. [David] [11:22] I'll save I will save dealerships. I'm thinking about this right now out loud. I can save dealerships so much money in fees and charge backs, it's ridiculous. [David] [11:36] Dealerships, I'm going to use automotive dealerships as an example. Automotive dealerships, people come in, they use credit cards and dealerships take on fees. [David] [11:48] And then people decide, hey, charge backs. [David] [11:54] They don't like their experience, they call them they call Amex. [David] [11:59] And you know what happens when somebody calls Amex? [David] [12:02] If you're a small business, you got zero chance of winning. [David] [12:12] If you implement cryptocurrency and you implement super intelligence correctly, if you're a dealership, you're thriving. You are making money. [David] [12:24] You don't got to worry about charge backs. [David] [12:30] The deal's a deal. [David] [12:33] Service department, booms. [David] [12:38] You guys are losing out on so many leads. [David] [12:42] I'm telling you, there are so many dealerships that are losing out on so many leads and prospects because they're not using super intelligence correctly. They got some Joe Schmo looking like a nerd with a fucking pen pocket that walks in telling you, hey, I know this. He knows nothing. I promise you, he knows nothing. [David] [13:03] Zero. In a week's time, I'll have that dealership making millions of dollars. Boom. [David] [13:17] I can help pretty much, and this is my stance because I've learned AI. I I am so good at super intelligence. I can help any business take it to the next level. I I just told you yesterday, there are businesses that don't even have websites. They're going based on word of mouth. [David] [13:37] And then when I look at some of these websites and my AI agents examine them, the websites don't have any SEO. They're not set up to generate any sort of leads. They're just there as a billboard. [David] [13:50] And they're not even effective as an as being a billboard. [David] [13:59] I'm telling you, man. [David] [14:03] I'm telling you. Anyway, we'll be right back after this commercial break. [David] [14:10] What first got you excited about blockchains? Think about it. Oh, wait. [David] [14:19] I bet it wasn't multi-million dollar hacks, exposed data, or finding somewhere safe to store your seed phrase. Was it? Maybe it was the idea of decentralizing a broken financial system. [David] [14:32] Maybe it was imagining a world where people own their own data and get to share in the value it creates. [David] [14:43] Or maybe it was the promise of a fundamentally better way of connecting, communicating, and transacting. The next phase of the internet that empowers us instead of exploiting us. So why hasn't it happened yet? Why are we still living with the same broken system that blockchain has promised to fix? It's because blockchains can't keep a secret. Enabling open transparent systems was only the first half of the challenge. For blockchains to really change the world, they also have to be able to protect our sensitive data when it matters. [David] [15:14] And that's why we built Midnight to bring down the final barrier to mass adoption and unlock the full potential of the decentralized web. Let's build the internet we deserve. Together. [David] [15:30] Ladies and gentlemen, we all know this in crypto, ownership matters. That's why Cake Wallet. Cake Wallet gives you full control of your digital assets all in one easy to use application. You can store Bitcoin, Litecoin, Zcash, Monero, and many more with just one secure backup. [David] [16:13] This is Houston. T minus one minute until full data blackout. All eyes are on you. [David] [16:28] Breaking news, there is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. We have a second angle on this. [David] [16:38] Is that guy on FOMO? Yeah, let's get back to it everybody. [David] [16:57] Breaking news, there is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. [David] [17:05] Opportunity cost is simply this. Every position you take is a position you choose over something else. [David] [17:19] This just in, according to the astronaut's FOMO account, highest in the room, the satellite has been restored. [David] [17:27] Yes. For now, the crisis appears to be over. I am here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. I am the modern day Tony Stark. [David] [19:28] Welcome back to the show, episode 800 sponsored by 800, man. Holy shit. Um, sponsored by Midnight. Midnight, check out Midnight City as well. I know a lot of people are still waiting to get in. I know they're working on it, so stay patient. Shout out to Charles and and Midnight, the entire staff. They're killing it out there. Uh, at Token. It's nice to see that happening. Also, Polymarket is the official prediction market sponsor of the breakdown. Cake Wallet, one of the most secure wallets that we have in this space. If you want to hold your Bitcoin, Litecoin, Zcash, Monero, you can use Cake Wallet to do so. You can download it at the App Store or go to cakewallet.com. FOMO, FOMO.family. You can go to FOMO.family and watch as people trade in real time in 4K, writing thesis on why they are going into certain assets. Um, [David] [20:28] One second. [David] [20:39] Okay. [David] [20:44] All right, sorry about that. Of course, people got to go, you know, real time. This is real TV, right? Real time. Everybody starts texting in real time. Anyway, we're going to be joined by, uh, on episode 800, man. 800. Am I old? Am I old? Fuck. Let's bring in, uh, our guest here today. Let me go ahead and plug Where's the overlay? Where's the overlay? Where's the goddamn overlay? [David] [21:15] I had it. I what where the hell did it go? Look at this, it's escaping me. Okay, there we go. Let's bring in, uh, let's bring in Lark. Lark is waiting in the back. We we offered no water to him in the back, nothing. He's been patient. He's been there waiting to get on. Lark, what's going on? How's everything going, man? [Guest: Lark] [21:35] It's going good. It's going good. Just looking at the charts and, uh, it's another beautiful day in the market. [David] [21:42] So tell me about that. You you got the grin on you. Are you happy for a pullback or or you were anticipating us to finally go ahead and break out towards, uh, you know, at least Bitcoin going towards the 90s and stuff. [Guest: Lark] [21:55] Yeah, look, we were at a major resistance points for a lot of the major assets and I was talking about this on the show the other day, like now's not the time to get long and strong, guys. Like that was back, you know, earlier when we were pointing it out. But you see everybody wants to get long when it feels safe. They want to jump into the market when it feels like, oh, everything's going up a lot. Honestly, this pullback in my mind is relieving to some extent because what I get paranoid about is when things move too hard, too fast. We did move pretty hard. We did move pretty fast. We had a very big explosive move in August. Grind it up from there, got to some nice levels. Some really, really key areas of price resistance, you know, 120 is like the flip line for Solana. 2800 is like the flip line for Ethereum, right? Uh, Bitcoin got up to that sort of almost $90,000, only going to very, very important area for BTC. 825 also very important. And so we got up to all these key levels. And got rejected on the first attempt to get over them. I think the market has a lot of PTSD right now and there's of course still very, very loud bears in the timeline calling anybody who's a bull an idiot. You're crazy to be bullish right now and you just have to ignore the two-week MACD, the monthly MACD, the the RSI breakout, the bullish RSI divergence that happened a few months ago, record on chain, uh, accumulation, record outflows back in June, all these different things that came up. Just ignore all that because we still have to go down to some disgusting number in the next few months and unless something really, really bad happens, which, hey, it's the world. Something really, really bad can always happen. But it it's a very contrarian bet and I don't see that in the charts right now. I see what we're happening right now is a welcome pullback and maybe the market's getting a little panicky about the Open AI news that their revenues were coming in a bit short. But I mean, the Nasdaq's only down like half a percent or 1% or something. It's not a it's a statistical blip, you know, it's not a big deal. Maybe if it becomes a bigger deal, then we can start to talk about that. But and crypto was already selling off before that news even came out. Really just everybody trying to get long into resistance, market makers taking the candy from the babies again. [David] [24:03] You know, I always say if it's manipulation going up, it's manipulation going down. Everybody always, oh my God, we're going down. You see, it's manipulated. Yeah, like, but you're not saying anything when it goes up either, man. You think market makers don't have [Guest: Lark] [24:16] That's manipulation you like. [David] [24:18] Exactly. There you go. 10 10 is coming up, the anniversary. 10 10, uh, do you think people are getting spooked a little bit there as well? People pulling out of the markets because there might be something that happens on 10 10? [Guest: Lark] [24:31] Uh, people are just superstitious, aren't they? They really are. I mean, to think that something has to happen on 10 10 again this time is it's an absurdity. Now, if something does happen, I guess, you know, egg on my face. But look, what happened last year was an extreme event. People have to understand this. I understand the PTSD from 10 10. People literally got zeroed out on that day. People that thought they were in relatively safe positions, they were using cross margin on their entire portfolio, which is crazy. Don't do that. If you're going to be trading on leverage, never use cross margin, guys. It just introduces so much risk. But yeah, but this huge dude who was doing like a 40X and a multi-million dollar position and he was doing people are degenerate gamblers. Okay? That exists too. You can trade and not be a degenerate gambler. And you need to not take these wild risks. $19 billion wiped out 10 10 last year. Absolute savagery and faith lost in the industry for many, many months after that. Only really July, August, people started to think, maybe we can start believing again. Maybe things are things that are investable here again. And we of course now see the results of that sort of belief coming through. But to think that 10 10 has to repeat, that we have to have another historic, epic, mega crash, extremely contrarian bet to make right now, especially when we had the second biggest liquidation event in the history of crypto markets actually happened, well, about eight weeks ago now in August, and it was the biggest short liquidation event in history in crypto, single day. And that was only the second biggest short the second biggest liquidation event overall because 10 10 was bigger. And that marked likely the bottoming event in the market, all the shorts getting wiped out in one go. So, I don't believe the 10 10, uh, boogie man is coming for
[Part 4 of 6] [ 0m0s643ms ] again, it's uh but markets are superstitious and they may want to see this pass before things get better. [ 0m6s212ms ] Even the market makers are putting it out there so people get spooked a little bit and don't know which way to go with the the longs and shorts. Uh, you you mentioned bottom just now. Where do you think we bottom? [ 0m17s942ms ] The 57K. [ 0m19s522ms ] 57K was the bottom for BTC and what's interesting, everybody really got stuck into the, well, it has to be this four-year cycle. We have to, it's got to be 12 months after the top. That's just how it works in BTC and ignore anything else going on. It's just a clock. What's interesting is that even back in 2022, and I I bring this up because I think it's a very interesting parallel to what we've seen happen right now. Back in 2022, markets really bottomed in June. And Black Rock thought that it was so significant of a percentage chance that we had bottomed out, that they introduced a private fund for their Bitcoin uh for people who were, you know, Black Rock clients to get Bitcoin access. They wouldn't have done that if they hadn't had some level of confidence that things were the worst behind us and we were moving into a new cycle. FTX happened and there's no way you could have predicted FTX happening in the charts. It just that's that's a black swan event, an exchange having massive fraud and going bankrupt like that. It happened to happen around a year after the peak came in. Perfect timing for the Bitcoin four-year cycle bros to say, see, but there you go again. [ 1m20s132ms ] Here, we have a situation where over the last few months, we had an unprecedented amount of bad things happen. By the way, 2022, we had every bad thing happen possible. Not only do we have Terra, Celsius, FTX, stock market crash, record, I mean, not record inflation, but a massive inflation spike, huge rate hiking cycle, all the bad things happen at once in 2022. The Ukraine conflict clicked off and all that kind of stuff. [ 1m44s792ms ] 2026 has been a different beast. [ 1m47s692ms ] The US GDP is absolutely on fire right now, outpacing the 10-year uh interest rate, which is about 5.2, 5.3% last time I checked. And so the economy's on fire. It's beating that sort of uh interest rate, which is generally a sign that markets continue to go higher. We have had a Fed rate hike. Yes, people are worried about that, but they also look back, they fan look back the parallels we could draw from the dotcom boom where we had rate hikes and the market still kept grinding higher. In fact, after they started doing rate hikes, the market pushed up another like dramatic like 70% or something for the Nasdaq before the market finally topped out. So, these things can happen and the markets can still be good. I think people forget about that. And then in crypto very specifically, we have the cold card hack. We had exchanges shutting down. We had blockchains shutting down. We had strategy selling, all this bad stuff and the best the bears could do was push it down to 57K. Record outflows for Bitcoin ETFs in June, the most outflows of any month ever in history. Still could only push down to 57K. Buyers stepped in, a record 270K BTC bought on chain by Bitcoin whales when the ETFs were panic selling. So, look, what we're seeing right now, it's cool, it's normal and every bull market climbs the wall of worry and people never want to believe. They never want they're constantly in panic. They never want to believe that things are changing around. They don't want to look at the data in front of their eyes and again, something can always happen, but betting on a black swan event or some crazy thing to wipe out the markets, it's a relatively contrarian bet at this point, I think. [ 3m19s472ms ] Do you think we revisit though the 57, let's say 5760K mark uh with Bitcoin before we go as as people would say to Valhalla? [ 3m31s12ms ] I don't think it's the most likely scenario, but I'm open to any possibilities. I mean, it's the crypto markets, you have to always be ready for crazy to happen. That's the way this works. If you're not ready to absorb the unexpected in volatility because the crypto market acts in very interesting ways sometimes, then you shouldn't be in crypto at all in my opinion. You know, go buy bonds and the index funds and stop stop getting stop making your life stressful. Yeah. But if you are willing to accept that volatility and volatility is the price you pay for performance, then if you're willing to accept that volatility in your life, then look, whether we go to 57K or not, I I think it's relatively irrelevant because the signals are here that we're starting a new cycle, but I don't think going back to 57K be healthy. I don't think that unless something really, really bad happens and maybe the open AI stuff creates total panic to the stock market, maybe we're underestimating how bad that's going to be, perhaps, perhaps. But it doesn't seem like the base case at all for me right now. It seems I mean maybe it's sort of a 90% plus chance that the bottom wasn't at 57K and we slowly grind higher from here. And then every bull market is kind of two steps forward, one step back. And people always get freaked out on the one step back and think that it's all over, but it's kind of a normal progression of how the markets work. [ 3m31s12ms ] Yeah. [ 3m47s962ms ] Yeah. [ 4m37s42ms ] Lark, do you think our protocols within our ecosystem are taking security seriously? Uh super, I'm going to say super intelligence because President Trump came out today and said anybody who says artificial intelligence is the enemy of the state. So I'm going to say super intelligence. Do you believe Now that we have super intelligence here, right? [ 4m42s592ms ] Don, he's great, isn't he? I just love it. He's just such a character. [ 4m59s12ms ] I love Trump. Uh he said that. That that's that's actually real guys. I saw I saw that tweet before I came on, so it's true. [ 5m4s42ms ] I saw I saw I saw that tweet before I came on, so it's true. [ 5m7s822ms ] But we've had so many hacks happen. Um, and now you have super intelligence that's here. And we I mean, I've been here for a long time, you've been here for a long time. We've seen exploits without AI involved, or excuse me, without SI involved. Now that you have super intelligence here, I mean, we've seen cold card, you know, almost $200 million drained, right? And and there's there have been other things that have happened here within our space. Do you think we have protocols that are taking security seriously though? That are actually using super intelligence to look at every possible vulnerability that they might potentially have and to nip that in the butt, or do you think people are just sitting some of these protocols might be sitting back and saying, hey, we're good. Without investing much into, you know, those scenarios and those situations to play them out and see, maybe just maybe we're vulnerable to a hack here. [ 6m5s12ms ] I think you have both going on right now and I I've said for a long time that putting your money into Dfy is you really got to be getting a good rate of return. And the problem is the best rates of return are on the least safe places. Now look, when it comes to the risks from SI, I look at Ave, Sky, stuff like this. Those are extremely smart, well-funded teams to think that they're not using AI to test their own systems is crazy. But then people will go and put money into these random protocols, I've never even heard the names of some of this stuff, or much less secure protocols, you know, the number 72 on Dfy Lama or something like that and they throw money in there. And the reality is, even if those teams are honest, they're simply not as well-funded. And that's a reality. You know, bridges get hacked all the time, all this kind of stuff. So even the best teams can still run into problems, but I would say that in general, the cream is going to keep rising to the top. And we're going to keep seeing a situation where lazy teams, entitled teams, underfunded teams, greedy teams who don't reinvest back into their protocols are going to lose. And I would not trust my money in very many places in crypto. Now, I think that using Ave or Sky or Jupiter or something like this, you're going to be fine. These are the top protocols, they are extremely well-funded. They have the money to be able to carry out what they need to do and do their own internal security checks, but it's a constant battle. But it's always been like this, David, and you know this, because we've been here for a long time. This battle between the hackers and the devs is non-stop and it won't continue. It's just that the tools and the battlefields are changing. But I still think that the best teams in crypto will continue to come out on top and I I think you can bring money on chain confidently, but you just have to be careful about where you're bringing it. But it's like with anything. You know, you drive into a new city, do you want to stay at a nice hotel or do you want to stay at the hotel down in in cracktown? Where there's cheaper rooms, the cheap they got cheap rooms, man, it's going to be a good time. There's some girls out front, there's a guy says you got some stuff for you, like, you know, you got to make your own decisions when it comes to this sort of stuff. And people make bad decisions unfortunately. So this thing, I think you have to be quite careful who you're trusting and the teams that you're trusting in crypto because it does come down to some extent to trusting the people behind the protocols. That's why I think like again, like Ave, Sky, some of the protocols, Camino, Jupiter, whatever, like, these are people who are aligned with longevity and they've proven that. And that's important. [ 8m28s502ms ] Yeah, I think a Dfy, I think Ave. I I had I got into Ave when it was lend. So it I mean, to me, you know, obviously I I've been huge on on that and, you know, when you say that, it's just like, yeah, like that's a no-brainer, you go there versus, you know, number 156 on, you know, I get that. Uh, there's been discussions uh, floating around even from OGs that Bitcoin has lost its luster. That's not to say not to own Bitcoin, because the ultimate goal should be owning Bitcoin. You should have some sort of skin in the game on Bitcoin. But a lot of the we've seen this, the space is changing. A lot of these youthful members that are joining, they're looking at Solana over Bitcoin. Not to say that Bitcoin isn't a generational asset. I'm a Bitcoin at heart. But to them, Solana will give them more access and a lot of them are looking at it as their their Bitcoin. What do you what do you see? Are you seeing the same thing? Or do you have a different opinion on that? Because I I see it. I the younger generation, they don't want to hear about Bitcoin and a lot of the OGs are saying Bitcoin has lost its cipher punk. the the soul that it used to I remember that we used to get excited 16, 17, even 21, like, oh my even 20, you can say almost 23, you would have get excited and then something. I don't know if it's the it's because the institution institutions have always been here, but I don't know if it's because they officially announced that they're here, that they've pushed so much money into it. The last run was really an institutional run on Bitcoin. I don't know if it's because of that, or it's because people are saying, hey, man, $85,000 Bitcoin, I even though you can buy a fraction of it, I I I don't want to put $85,000 into a Bitcoin. I want to get the multiples, man. I want to get the multiples you got in 17 or in 19, whatever, man. I I want that. What what do you feel about that? That the new generation looks at Solana as their Bitcoin? [ 10m37s22ms ] Well, I I think that's very, very true. And there's a very strong case to be made for an allocation to Bitcoin, right? But it's got a very specific value proposition right now. You buy Bitcoin and Michael Sailor's calling for a 30% compound annual growth rate, which is basically 2X the Nasdaq, higher volatility, but double the rewards. Um, Matt Gold, the CEO of Strive, I had him on recently, he was saying, look, during bull runs, we have 60% Kager. So, fantastic. That's great. If you're a guy who's got a lot of money and you want a relatively safe bet and exposure to the cryptocurrency industry, fantastic. If you're under 30, chances are you don't have a huge amount of capital sitting around that you want to just put into something you can hold for 10 or 20 years. That's the reality. If you're under 20, you're hungry, you want something bigger. And even Solana, I think is a relatively boring asset for a lot of these guys. I mean, they might use it as their metric of like, yeah, I want to accumulate more of that because it's got good upside. It's a hot tech thing, right? But this is why we see the rise of like FOMO app, right? Which I it's a great sponsor to have for the channel, by the way, cool app. And it's that's broken through social trading in a massive way. And the reason people want to get on there is because they want to chase the big gains. They want to be the next guy to find Pepe. They want to be the next guy to find that explosive coin and they're looking at it and go, look, yeah, Bitcoin, how much can I realistically make off that? Okay, sure, I'm going to get 30% compound annual growth rate for the next 10 or 20 years. Cool. Or I could put in 100 bucks on a meme coin today and turn it into a million bucks tomorrow. And chances are it's not going to happen, but the dream, the fantasy that that could happen to you, that you could be the exception to the rule. Look, I'm all about take some money, have some fun, do some speculation, but I think what it comes down to, whatever age you're at, portfolio allocation is incredibly important. And, you know, get some stocks, have some Nasdaq there, right? You don't need to do that for 100, maybe that's you know, a little bit of an older thing, you know, but get some Nasdaq, that's fun. That's your safe bet, right? Get some Bitcoin, that's your safe bet. Throw some Solana in there. My two biggest holdings right now, Bitcoin and Solana. Number one, number two. And I think they both have a great place in your portfolio. One for a bit more rock solid anchor, the other one for a little bit more high octane juice. Putting so much of your portfolio into this higher risk stuff beyond Solana. If you're like all in Solana, you know what, respect, you're going to do fine. But if you're like, I'm 10% Solana, 90% meme coins, like, man, you're going to you're going to burn out real fast, chances are. Take that speculation money, have it be like 5% of your crypto portfolio. Not 90% of your entire net worth. And I see people do this and I'm just like, man, you guys are crazy. What are you doing? Maybe I'm just maybe we're just getting old, David, I don't know. [ 13m24s592ms ] But it is crazy. Like people tell me they're 100% into memes. I'm like, build the foundation. Have have Bitcoin, have Solana, have majors. And then, like if you have money, go go fuck around. Have fun. I mean, I'm not going to stop you. You want to go gamble, gamble. I mean, you might hit a 100X. who who who am I to say? Like you're not good enough to go ahead and find the next air quote Pepe. Which leads me to the memes. Now, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Pepe, like I I would say that we were in these things. These were real memes with like with lore and like there's people rallied behind them. There was energy. There were spaces with 10, 20,000 actual people in them yelling and screaming and having a great time. There was a real meme economy. Now I look at what's happening. I'm like, there's 95,000 launch pads. There's a launch pad for a launch pad for a launch pad. They're these memes, I can't call them memes because I they just sound like they want to the nearest, you know, convenience store and pick something out of the aisle, okay? So you you have these things out there and and it seems like the meme economy now is nothing more than a Fortnite game. People are extremely rotational. There's no holding. It's who's getting out first. Is the meme economy dying? Like I because there's two things that I like I think about Lark. Either we recover, the OGs come together and say, you know what? Enough is enough. We're going to restore that economy. Or the tokenization of assets, real world assets, which, you know, the tokenization of SpaceX and Tesla and whoever else you want to throw out there. Maybe people get tired of waiting and say, you know what? I'll go participate on Robin Hood hypothetically. I'll I'll I'll participate by getting into some tokenized stocks, which will be trading 24/7, same way that memes are, and I'll have a better chance here versus guestimating how long somebody's going to hold here to take out a $3.44 44 cent profit. What do you believe happens? To me, there's no middle ground. It's either the memes are going to come back, make a serious comeback and people are going to believe in holding again, or it's cooked and we're going towards tokenized stocks. [ 14m24s422ms ] Mhm. [ 15m50s22ms ] I think what happened in the meme coin space is there's a few things that break down. Back when Pepe came out, things weren't as brutal as they are right now. Right now it is basically a factory of money extraction, right? It's the it's the devs launching bundles, it's the the the scandalous KOLs who are out there, you know, promoting it and dump it on side wallets and all this kind of stuff. There's a lot of problems with that. And because this has become the culture of the meme coin space, nobody wants to hold anything. Why would you hold anything? Because you're it's just a race against the clock every single time that you're going to get dumped on. Look, the reality of meme coins is you need you need narrative, you need culture, you need holders, you need a growing base. That's why things like Pepe took off. It's a real cult meme. Real culture icon. And that took off because of that. Now, when you look at a lot of this stuff launching now, it's just low effort cash grabs again and again and again. And you can make money off of very quickly flipping those things if you want to spend all day staring at your computer screen in the trenches, fighting it out, knifing each other for five bucks, there's money to be made there. But it's a very dark and nihilistic place that it's become unfortunately. There will be big memes that come back, 100%. Retail has barely re-entered the space right now. People are still, you know, playing with AI stocks and stuff like that. But people will come back. When Bitcoin breaks out to new all-time highs, it'll be like this this homing beacon for every Maybe maybe we can say more like, you know, those like fly zapper things that light up at night and all the moths come in and get zapped. It'll be kind of like that. You know, so retail money will come back. The exit liquidity again, they were they felt a bit shy after 2021, but it's been five years. They've forgotten about that. They're going to come back in, buy all this crap at the top again. Be exit liquidity on, you know, random dog in you coin number 97 that goes to a $5 billion market cap. It's going to keep repeating. But the nihilism in in meme coins has really, really ramped up and I don't see that it's really changed in any meaningful way. That's sort of the nihilistic approach that we saw back in 204 and sort of led to some of the excesses of late 204 and early 205. I think it's still there. What I'm very excited about, I mean, meme coins are fun. I play around with the occasional meme coin. Meme coins look, I don't know, 1% of my portfolio and that's mostly in Pepe to be honest. But when I look at what's exciting, it's probably going to keep people coming and being on chain. And I think the meme coin space is interesting just from the perspective that people come in, they download a Phantom wallet, they buy a couple meme coins, they get the FOMO app, whatever it is, and they've experienced crypto now, even if they lost money. They know what it's all about now. And so now they they're going to come back and say, you know, maybe I don't buy that dog crap next time. Maybe next time I'm going to buy something a little bit better. I'm going to go and do a little bit of research. I'll buy some Solana, I'll buy maybe some Solana Dfy, maybe I'll buy some Tesla on my wallet, something like that. And so they start actually participating in on chain finance beyond sort of this the basic nihilism speculation space that meme coins are. It's a very useful part of the cryptocurrency economy. It stress tests a lot of things. So we can thank it for that. But yeah, people don't want to hold anything right now because they understand it's an extraction game and they don't want to be the ones extracted on. So everybody's always itchy on the trigger finger to sell. So I think RWAs coming on chain is fantastic. I think uh the agentic economy is going to get a huge um huge tailwind again at some point and we'll see some of these um agentic protocols, these AI protocols get some real, real wind behind them. Like we saw with Venice, Venice went absolutely nuts. Uh I think something like virtual can make a big comeback or or some others. So there's definitely stuff to watch in the space that's really exciting too. And this is the thing, beyond just the meme coin speculation, if you're looking at the crypto market right now, you have to understand, there are really solid like revenue producing protocols on like Solana Dfy for example. There are still 50, 60, 70, 80% below their all-time highs that are better than they've ever been. The fundamentals are better than they've ever been. They've got revenue buybacks now, all this kind of stuff. So you can still play the meme game, but just maybe put some fundamental stuff in your portfolio too. [ 17m17s522ms ] Maybe maybe we can say more like, you know, those like fly zapper things that light up at night and all the moths come in and get zapped. It'll be kind of like that. [ 19m50s872ms ] You you mentioned something and I'm going to hit you with this. Do you think that retail ever came back after 2000 you can say 2021, 2022. You think I don't I don't I keep on saying this. I don't think retail ever came back. [ 20m3s722ms ] No, not in any meaningful way. There's been no indication of that. There's And the reason why I say that before you go, Lark, the reason why I say that is because I can look at my follower count. Right, it's easy for big accounts to look at their follower count. The activity isn't there as it was in 2021. And it still wasn't there last cycle. Last cycle was boring. Let's call for what it is. Last cycle run Bitcoin institutional run on Bitcoin. That's it. Nothing more than that. 6, 7 protocols, real actual protocols made new all-time highs. That's really it. Nothing else. It was absolutely to me, I don't feel like retail's come back. [ 20m7s222ms ] And the reason why I say that before you go, Lark, the reason why I say that is because I can look at my follower count. [ 20m44s672ms ] Not in any meaningful way. We had basically some retail show up for three to four weeks in late 2024. And that wasn't anywhere near If you've been in crypto any less than five years, you have no idea what an actual bull run looks like. Because it hasn't happened in five years. We had a few glimmers of decent rallies that happened. But if you look at the main chart, you know, the um the others chart or the uh you know, the total two or something like that. There hasn't been any meaningful breakout on these charts since 2021. We've been coiling that whole time and there will be a meaningful breakout potentially in not so distant future. But yeah, retail's been pretty absent recently. And they need a lot of green candles to come back in. They need to feel like the water's safe and that people are making money and that's the opportunity for you listening right now is that there are things out there that can provide I think pretty solid 10, 20, 30, even 50X opportunities from some pretty boring sounding stuff that's been around for a while, but if the crypto market expands to let's say a six or a seven or $8 trillion market cap in the next run, these things are going to go bananas. And retail will come back. FOMO app's going to be number one, Pump funds going to be number two, Coinbase going to be number three, Robin Hood going to be number four on the App Store and then Tom Lee's going to be on the cover of Time magazine as the genius of Ethereum. And goodness gracious me, when that happens, you better sell and run for the hills, guys, because that's it. It's over. [ 21m0s422ms ] Yeah. [ 21m18s222ms ] And there will be a meaningful breakout potentially in not so distant future. [ 21m55s52ms ] FOMO app's going to be number one, Pump funds going to be number two, Coinbase going to be number three, Robin Hood going to be number four on the App Store and then Tom Lee's going to be on the cover of Time magazine as the genius of Ethereum. [ 22m15s422ms ] You think, hold on, you so I've been really disappointed in Ethereum and people always I'm a Bitcoin, but people called me an Ethereum Max, whatever, I'll take the label. But I've been disappointed with Ethereum. I absolutely have been disappointed. Obviously, ever since they switched from PL, you know, POW to POS. I felt like that was a knee jerk reaction. Uh, Vitalik, you know, instead of addressing main issues, he comes out talking about, hey, I'm writing a book about, you know, um, a sci-fi decentralized governance novel that I hope you guys tune into. And then his hatred, you don't have to like memes. So I I'll put it this way. This is the way I look at the meme economy. Memes are are relatable because they're everywhere. They don't have to be on chain. I can talk to you, we don't speak the same language. I hit you with a meme, you understand what I'm saying, or you're laughing. There's some sort of emotion that comes out. Ethereum had that. They had meme culture trading. They had it. Nobody else came close. And they, you know, here comes Vitalik just saying, I hate memes. You know, and that's a, you know, years upon years of, I hate memes. Here comes Solana. I will take it on. No problem. Everybody who's tried, you know, BNB, you, you know, like if you if you've been here for a while, you know every chain that's tried and they they somewhat, you know, BNB does somewhat well, but Solana took it. Solana took it and said, you know, we'll run with it, which attracted a lot of people including myself to go and go harder into Solana. Because now institutions want to build on Solana. And they want to you and now you have Ethereum projects that are going to Solana to build on Solana. So I think that was the biggest mistake that really, I don't think maybe a year's down the line people will say, you know what? Yeah, they they made that mistake. And Charles is, you know, Charles comes on to my show all the time. There's no treasury, there's nothing. It's just like, what are we doing here on Ethereum? Now, I don't want to be a doomer. I think Ethereum comes back. It probably hits 10,000 and if it does, I agree with you. If I see Tom Lee on the cover, I'm out. I am absolutely out. I'm all out. I'm going I'm taking all my money out 100% right into stables. And I'm waiting. [ 24m30s22ms ] And then buy Solana. [ 24m31s592ms ] Buy Solana, right? [ 24m33s822ms ] I think there's a fundamental difference here between the leadership at Ethereum and um Solana. Anatoli, he's hungry for it, man. He's a such a great, he's out there. Yes, let's do that. Great, let's do that. Do this, do more. Whereas Vitalik, no, no, no, I don't like this. And you've heard from, you know, this whole episode that happened, I think back in early 204, maybe it was early 205. You know, this this whole just sort of ivory tower attitude from the Ethereum devs and you hear, you know, people who've left the Ethereum Foundation being like, yeah, it's just Vitalik runs everything. You know, you got to be in his inner circle to get anything done. And these are the kind of things you've heard from people. Now, I don't know if that's true or not. I don't I don't see it, but I can believe it the way that things have moved on chain. Now, look, Ethereum is a beast. It's going to have a lot of it's not going to go anywhere. It's it's got the adoption, it's got the the history, you know, Black Rock doesn't care if they have to pay $2 to deploy a billion dollars worth of RWAs on chain. They don't care, right? It's a different beast. But Solana's really leaned into the culture side of things. And you can just see, have you ever been to a Solana breakpoint conference? [ 25m35s62ms ] It's amazing. [ 25m36s672ms ] It's amazing. And you go to an Ethereum Devcon and it's like That's what I said earlier today. In the beginning of the show, I said when you the reason why I keep saying it's is this generation's Bitcoin or that's how they view it. You go there, you go to a Bitcoin conference, respectfully, I've been to it's okay, like my eyes are closing. I've heard the same speeches. I get it. Toxic energy, yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever. And now you're seeing all the institutional cats in suits. Don't mind my suit. I've always wore a suit. I'm not a Wall Street cat. But you have a bunch of suits in place. [ 25m40s42ms ] That's what I said earlier today. In the beginning of the show, I said when you the reason why I keep saying it's is this generation's Bitcoin or that's how they view it. [Part 5 of 6] [David] [00:00] again, loses his Cypherpunk aura that it had. All right, cool. Ethereum, I I don't think Ethereum's going to go anywhere. I agree with you. But it's an institutional thing. It's like they don't really, okay, good for you retail, but we're we're focused on this. Okay, great. Solana has aura. You walk into the any of those conferences that are sponsored by Solana, there's aura there, man. There is like people are talking, they're excited. They can't wait. They're they'll sit on their hands. Like the real ones will sit on their hand and they're waiting patiently and they're real maxis. But they're not toxic. They're like, how do we onboard more people? And you mentioned Toly, yeah, Toly's out there having conversations. Having actual honest debates. You he can say some things that might make you what did you say about Bitcoin? But still that's his opinion. That's why I love Charles. When Charles comes out there and he speaks his mind, I want people that are running things to speak their mind and and not be PC about it. The thing with Vitalik is that you got to use Grock to understand what the fuck he's saying. Like you got to sit back. I [Guest: Lark Davis] [01:04] Grock brain nerd. [David] [01:06] Listen, I hit Grock right away. Summarize this shit for me. I'm not reading 93 pages on Twitter. Um, but yeah, I kind of agree with you on there. Uh, last question and I appreciate you coming on. Episode 800, man. I don't even know how I made it here. [Guest: Lark Davis] [01:18] Congratulations, by the way. That's that's absolutely epic and awesome, man. Beautiful. I love it. 800 episodes. That's that's a lot of content. [David] [01:26] A lot of times waking up. They don't understand. People don't get it, man. This is a hard hard, hard, well, it's easy if you love it. [Guest: Lark Davis] [01:34] It's easy if you love it. That's that's why I was going to say, man. It's easy to love it. I'm I'm just blessed that I get to come and do this every day. It's it's a beautiful existence. [David] [01:41] We're the new media for, you know, for finance. We we that's what I always say. Like yourself and others, I always mention like we're the new media. And people will come through us to understand because we understand how this whole thing works. Mainstream media does not have a grasp on how this works. They chat GPT it, they read it and that's about it. And then they bring on people like us to go ahead and explain it. So rather explain it on our own channels. Which leads me to this. Lark, where do you see Give me the total market cap for the entire industry, the next bull cycle. And do you think this is the last bull cycle where we see the 10,000 X's, the 100 X's, the 50 X's? Is this the last cycle before everything stabilizes and you're now participating in an environment when you're getting two to three X's back instead of the phenomenal numbers that we would get back here due to the volatility? [Guest: Lark Davis] [02:38] I would say a a reasonable target would be sort of the seven to 10 trillion dollar range. I know it's a a few trillion either direction, right? But somewhere in that. If you look back to sort of the old charting um from before this cycle, you would have got to around uh that sort of 10 trillion dollar mark. It's not a crazy target considering the size of the stock market and the fact that we are having RWAs coming on chain, which is going to bump up the whole sort of value of the crypto market space. So you've got that. So I think that's not an unreasonable thing. I think um altcoins, the others in particular, so that's all the coins outside the top 10. The others can easily go to a trillion dollars, a trillion and a half potentially, which is unbelievable gains will happen. And in terms of the stabilization of crypto, and this this could be one of the, let's say, greatest bull runs, but I don't think that it's going to be the last bull run and we're going to stabilize after that or any of this kind of thing. Even look even gold, amazingly, gold had this insane rally in late 25. You know, Boomer Rock finally came back and it just it blew everybody away. And so even when Bitcoin gets big, you know, when Bitcoin's trading in the multi-hundred thousand dollar range as a normal range, the the the people losing their minds, we dump from 300k back down to, you know, 120 or something. It's going to be epic. Having bought much earlier than that. But we're not going to see things go away. And I think interestingly, the meme coin space is proving that very, very clearly is that the demand for speculation on lower cap stuff is going to remain extremely high. Because here's the thing, if you're a regular investor, what are you going to do? You go buy SpaceX at a two trillion dollar market cap? I want to buy open AI or Anthropic when they come out at two trillion dollar market caps. And people look back, oh, yeah, but Elon, Tesla, it had a thousand X return. Yeah, because it came out at a two billion dollar market cap. There's no upside left in a lot of these stocks anymore. Now you can find things in the stock market that have huge upside. But people come and there will always be new projects launching. And the fact we've seen so many things launch over the last year, despite the market conditions, we've seen, you know, all kinds of interesting new protocols launch. You know, we've seen like Canton launch, we've seen all kinds of huge developments from Near and Sui, for example, injective, all these kind of players are they're still there, they're still surviving and they go through these incredible corrections because of the volatility in the cryptocurrency asset class. So Bitcoin, 30% Kager, Michael Saylor's targets, that's good returns. You're beating the S&P 500, you're beating the Nasdaq even, you're going to do fine. Altcoins, of course, where people are going to keep going to make the big money, you know, risk it for the biscuit basically and take that risk that you could lose it all, but also make 10, 20, 50X returns in that market. And that's not going to go away. I think we'll continue to see these extremely volatile cycles and the whole market cap of crypto will get smoothed out to some extent because Bitcoin will probably become a little less volatile. If this was truly the bottom at 57k, then yes, we're already seeing institutional money changing the mechanics of the market to some extent. And that'll continue as more institutional money comes in and we get these long-term buyers that are buying for 10, 20 year time frames that don't care what the price is. And that creates a continually higher floor on the asset. But the money's not going to flow into, you know, random dog coins or new protocols that are launching, new hungry teams that are launching stuff in crypto all the time, which we see all the time. You know, Robin Hood chain came out and a lot of it was BS, a lot of it was scammy crap. But we did have some things coming out that did become interesting and we do have the ability to launch new financial primitives on chain. And we're going to continue to do that because crypto will remain a wild west of financial experimentation. As long as regulators don't completely destroy it, but they can't because of the on-chain permissionless nature of the whole thing. So I think we'll continue to see opportunities in crypto for the next few decades anyway, until things, I don't know, AI takes over and there's no edge left in anything. But but between now and then, I still think there's a lot of great opportunity. But gosh darn it, guys, if you see the most epic bull run of your life over the next few years and you're sitting there and you wake up one day and go, oh my gosh, this is life-changing money and I'm so rich, change your life and click the sell button. That's it. [David] [06:45] I like that. I like that. Lark Davis, man, a staple in this space. Been here for a really long time. We deserve this. Anybody who's been here for a decade plus deserves everything that's coming. And I'm talking about gains and obviously, we're all building, right? We're all building something, whether it's, you know, media or or something in tech within within crypto, which is cool. Uh, I appreciate you coming on. Hopefully I can get you on in the next month or two. We can discuss where we're at in terms of the markets. Uh, and I on the 7 to 10 trillion, I keep on saying $10 trillion market cap. That's where I stand. That's why I think we'll go if all this money's going to flood in, especially in the next two years with the CFTC and the SEC, you know, giving us more clarity than the actual clarity bill. So, uh, thank you so much, Luck. I appreciate you making the time. [Guest: Lark Davis] [07:36] Thank you for having me on. I appreciate it. Thank you. [David] [07:38] Guys, I have everything that you need to go ahead and follow Lark. Lark's a good guy, man. I've watched Lark's stuff. Good at explaining, breaking stuff down. Tune into him. Give him a follow. Knows how to break things down. Knows how to explain things. Not bad. Not bad. Shout out to Lark Davis. We'll be back right after this commercial break. Sponsored by everybody. [Ad] [08:13] What first got you excited about blockchains? Think about it. Oh, wait. I bet it wasn't multi-million dollar hacks, exposed data, or finding somewhere safe to store your seed phrase. Was it? Maybe it was the idea of decentralizing a broken financial system. Maybe it was imagining a world where people own their own data and get to share in the value it creates. Or maybe it was the promise of a fundamentally better way of connecting, communicating, and transacting. The next phase of the internet that empowers us instead of exploiting us. So why hasn't that happened yet? We're still living with the same broken system that blockchains promised to fix. It's because blockchains can't keep a secret. Enabling open transparent systems was only the first half of the challenge. For blockchains to really change the world, they also have to be able to protect our sensitive data when it matters. And that's why we built Midnight to bring down the final barrier to mass adoption and unlock the full potential of the decentralized web. Let's build the internet we deserve. Together. There is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. We have a second angle on this. Is that guy on FOMO? Yeah, let's get back to it everybody. Breaking news. There is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. We have a second angle on this. Opportunity cost is simply this. Every position you take is a position you choose over something else. This just in. According to the astronaut's FOMO account, highest in the room, the satellite has been restored. Yes. For now, the crisis appears to be over. Satellite's up and running. Positions look good too. That's right. Let's give him another round of applause. Let's give another round of applause to your boy. To your boy. That's right. That's right. Episode 800, man. We'll see what's happening in terms of the midterms, which again, it doesn't look promising for the Republicans right now. But who knows? We've seen things move in the last minutes. There's data coming out saying that potentially, there might be a huge upside where the Republicans win. Maybe it's the $5,000 being put into the equation. I don't know. I have no idea. At this point, I'm just guestimating what might happen. By the way, shout out to Lark Davis for coming on to the show, episode 800. We talked about obviously the crypto economy. You can go ahead and tune into that on Apple Podcast, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and Amazon Music, if you didn't catch it. Or you can replay these shows on YouTube, TikTok. I don't think I'm on TikTok, but you can replay it on YouTube, Kick, and also X. You can go on X and also replay it. A lot of things to think about, a lot of you know, I like the different perspectives. He believes that we will still have bull markets for for decades to come. I believe this will be one of those bull markets that we've never seen before. For as long as I've been here from bull to bear cycles, I don't think we've ever seen what's coming in terms of a bull market. This will make 2021 look like nothing. Like a warm-up. Like 2021 was stretching for this event. Five years. Do you know how much energy has been waiting? It's kind of like a volcano. It's been waiting to explode. Absolutely explode. And I'm here for it. I can't wait. I can't wait. And especially to sit with my fellow OGs and to witness this amazing event, which will probably last 18 to 24 months. So witness the charts go bullish and for retail to finally make their way back from 2021. Because they haven't been back. I keep saying this. Retail has not come back. They're in debt. The average car note has gone up. The average car note is now in the 700s. People, I mean, credit card. Credit card debt. Consumer credit card debt. $1.3 trillion. Subprime subprime is in the toilet. A lot of people don't talk about this, but it's reality. Even though the economy is great, there are things that need to be fixed. There's one thing he did say. Lark said something that is really important. The last time that we ran, we had interest rates, even though they came down, they started off being high. That's where we're moving. There will be an explosion in this market. Like you went to Taco Bell and you ate that lettuce. That's the kind of explosion that's going to happen. I'm not talking about shit. I'm talking about Valhalla type stuff. You're not going to know where to go. If you're sitting in positions now and you've already built your foundation, you are sitting good. You are sitting absolutely pretty. You get to watch. You get to watch things absolutely move. I said this in the beginning of the show. People talk about motion. I talked about motion yesterday on a space full of 130 people. I said there is no motion right now. Elon doesn't have motion. President Trump don't got motion. Ain't nobody got motion. Because there's no money in the goddamn ecosystem. Zero. It's not enough. You got 164 million tokens with only $1 million in liquidity. What do you think's going to happen? The liquidity is stretched. The liquidity though is on the sidelines. They're waiting. Institutional cats are waiting to get in. Really waiting to get in. Retail isn't here though. When retail comes back, you'll know they're back. You'll hear the Kumbaya sessions. You'll hear the we're going to make it. We're all going to make it. Hold. Diamond hands, hold. Hold the line. Delist will be screamed from the rooftops from NFT buyers. Delist, delist. You'll have people it is going to be pandemonium. It's going to be absolutely crazy. And I'm not hyping anybody up. I'm just I know it's coming. I know it's coming. It's going to be a phenomenal a phenomenal event. Even people that have been losing from cycle to cycle will end up winning. As long as they learn to pull profits respectfully like a gentleman or a lady. Take profits. But do it like a gentleman. You don't have to kill the project. And bundles won't mean anything because people won't go into bundles. People will return to the OGs. People will return to organic. People will participate in supply controlled assets. Don't get me wrong either. And I think it's a good thing that there are assets out there that have supply control to them. I believe that's an absolutely with good people controlling it, 100%. Will everything work out? No. Nothing. And that's the one thing in crypto. I talked about this last night. There is this there is this perception that everything will work out 100% in crypto. No. I'm going to say this again. This is Silicon Valley. Okay? No different. People build and things won't work out. If you can't stomach that, you shouldn't be here. And I also said that crypto is the only industry that is so integrated with social media. You don't have the crying or people yelling and slandering people in the stock market, in the traditional markets. That only happens in crypto. Where people slander and make up and twist things when they lose. And maybe that's what makes crypto interesting somewhat. That you have the social media aspect to crypto and the ecosystem. That you don't have anywhere else. Maybe that's why it makes it exciting. Maybe that's why there's a lot of fuckery and drama. I'm telling you and I said this and and again, I'm going to repeat things that I said last night. Don't participate in drama. Don't participate in the fuckery. You'll miss out on everything by doing so. You will miss out on the entire cycle if you participate in some random bullshit. If you participate in witch hunts, if you participate in just stupid activity, slandering all that stuff, I'm telling you right now, your Jerry Springer shows, you're not going to make money. And you're the only person you should be blaming. Nobody else. Not even these dirty KOLs. Nobody except yourself. You look in that mirror and you say, you know what? I was too busy participating on T-Moo versions of the Jerry Springer show and I missed out on making life-changing plus generational wealth. Generational transfer is happening right now. The once in a lifetime generational transfer of wealth is happening right now. So you can either participate in it, learn super intelligence, or get left get left out. And that's it. That's bottom line. I said this to everybody, the OGs that were in the space yesterday and that in in the spaces that I participated in until 4:00 in the morning. I said, this is not the time to to battle somebody, to have somebody like you. You need to clean up your timeline and make sure that you are getting value delivered to you. Everything that's said to you, heckled, Jordan got heckled on the court. Kobe got heckled on the court. People will say things to you. And I'm talking about to the OGs that are scared to tip that tip-toeing around saying You're playing on court. People go say bad things. It is what it is. What people's opinions of you are not are not the opinions that you have of yourself, right? Dion Sanders. I I My opinion of myself is different than the one that you have of me. I mean, bottom line. I can my opinion, your opinion is the only one that should matter. Win, win big, man. Win big, man. This is this is it. This is it. This is it. This is to me, I will stand on it. This is the run. This is the run that you need to take advantage of. And you can easily front run the markets. If you learn how to use super intelligence, I'm saying that because Trump came out today and said if you use artificial intelligence, you're the enemy. So with super intelligence, if you learn how to use it, you'll win. And you'll win big. And you'll be happy about it. You'll be absolutely happy about it. Let's go ahead and look at Polymarket real quick. Let's look at Polymarket. Let's see what's happening there. I'm trying to get into it.
[Part 6 of 6] [00:04] [David] go to Polymarket right now. See what's happening. Listen, you never know what sends. People think they know what sends, but if the market decides to send something, it's going to send. And you're going to have to understand why. Let's look at politics here real quick. Midterms. It is now down to The Senate is down to 60%. It was higher yesterday. Now it's at 60% to 40%. That's what the people think. That the US Senate will be led by the Democrats. That number's come down. That number has come down and so has a percent on the Democrats taking ownership of the house. There it is right now in 4K for you guys. Right there. The house, 90% chance the Democrats take it over. 60% chance that they take over the Senate. For some reason, for some reason, I do believe, for some reason, I do believe, there will be a last minute red wave. There'll be a red wave that pulls out a win. Now, it could be that the Senate is kept in the Republican's hands, and they might just lose the house. Or we might see a wave that we've never seen before, where out of nowhere the last few days left before the midterm elections, the Republican Party pulls it out. I think right now people are starting to really look and pay attention. And I don't know if people want to vote in Democrat socialists just to spite Trump. I don't know if that's what the people want to go ahead and do. I don't know if that's what Americans, because ultimately Republicans or Democrats, we're Americans, and I don't know if that's what you really want to go ahead and do. If you want to go ahead and get rid of capitalism, pay more taxes, and have less with the Democratic Party, with the current Democratic establishment. These aren't your old Democrats. These are a new breed of Democrats that do not like capitalism. They love socialism, they love communism. Remember that. These people they want to get rid of capitalism. They want you paying higher taxes. It's not like we're we're not paying higher taxes as is, right? They want you to pay higher to the point of suffocation. And that'll change. You know, all this will change if you 25 days until 25 days. 25 days. Guys, 25 days to make the right decision. I get it. You're not you might not be happy with some of the things that are happening. Okay, you might not be happy. But it's better than what we had before. I really believe we let in these Democrat socialists and our country changes forever. Look, look at what's happening in the East. Well, you could really say the Look what's happening. You have countries that are unrecognizable. Protect the United States of America at all costs. I'm telling you, do not do not play into this Democrat Republican shit. Pick people that love the United States of America, that love capitalism, which has made America the most dominant force on the planet. Remember that. Now it's, you know, again, the stats are from Polymarket. Polymarket.us, sponsor of the show. Cake Wallet also a sponsor. Fomo.family, we'll be looking at some of the place tomorrow. The quote of the day, ladies and gentlemen. And here it goes. You cannot make sense to a person who only comprehends things at their own level of perception. No matter how much you explain, argue or try, save your energy. People will only hear what their mind is ready to understand. If they are trapped in limitations, they cannot grasp vision. If they are stuck in insecurity, they cannot understand confidence. If they are consumed by fear, they cannot comprehend faith. Your time is too valuable to spend convincing. Your energy is too scarce to waste explaining yourself to people committed to misunderstanding you. The truth does not need defending and your path does not need approval. Walk in your clarity, let your results speak louder than your expectations. Growth will separate you from certain conversations and that is not a loss, it is alignment. I'll read this one more time because it's long, but it's good. You cannot make sense to a person who only comprehends things at their own level of perception. No matter how much you explain, argue or try, save your energy. People will only hear what their mind is ready to understand. If they are trapped in limitation, they cannot grasp vision. If they are stuck in insecurity, they cannot understand confidence. If they are consumed by fear, they cannot comprehend faith. Your time is too valuable to spend convincing. Your energy is too scarce to waste explaining yourself to people committed to misunderstanding you. The truth does not need defending. And your path does not need approval. Walk in your clarity, let your results speak louder than your explanations. Growth will separate you from certain conversations. And that is not a loss, it is alignment. Ladies and gentlemen. Before I go, I just want to tell you one thing. I've I've always said expand your brand. Go to Instagram, go to Threads, go to Truth Social and Getter and and Kick and and Twitch and TikTok. And I've done that. But I don't know if I did that at a 100% scale. I don't know if I did that with YouTube because now only now have I taken the dust off of my YouTube account at David Gokhshtein. I've taken it off. And now I'm on there live streaming and now I'm making content. Same thing with Instagram. I left it still. A verified, legacy verified account. I left it there. Just left it there. To tweet or to post on there once in a while. Same thing with TikTok. I think I went ahead and pushed back after getting so many restrictions, after having 500, 600 concurrent users on there watching me, after having it just at 100 to 150. I was like, I don't know. So I'm going to show you guys something. I'm going to show you that within 90 days all my accounts like Instagram, TikTok and YouTube are absolutely going to explode in traffic. Because I'm going to work my ass off to make sure that that happens. So whatever numbers we have now, triple them. That's the way my mind works and that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to make sure make sure that the algorithm sees me. And it does. We've done some tests. It does. It's just consistency. YouTube is where you can find me. YouTube will be the channel. TikTok also and we're going to get Instagram on here. Somehow, some way. Keep saying it but we'll get Instagram on here. LinkedIn. Shout out to LinkedIn. You know what? What I said earlier about giving an example of the automotive industry. The automotive industry is losing money when they can make a ton of profit by just integrating super intelligence with crypto. And I believe that. And maybe just maybe I'll test that. Maybe I'll reach out to a dealership that is currently struggling as I assess them, where they can be making 100 to $200,000 per month in extra revenue. Maybe they're losing 100 grand. And I can fix that for them. And maybe just maybe they become an example of a showcase of how you can use super intelligence and crypto to your benefit, to bring in more revenue. And to create more products. Or to make the product sound easier to the consumer. I love the automotive industry. I've always had a passion for it. I love cars. I love cars. I love the automotive industry. Shout out to everybody working in the Shout out to, you know, it gets a bad rap. I got to tell you, the automotive industry gets a it gets a bad rap. But you know, 95% of those dealerships are are absolutely great. It's the 5% that give everybody else a bad name. It's the movies. It's the movies out there that give, you know, those car sales people a bad name. Yet, they're just they're out there selling. You know, everybody's selling something to you. You know, you don't give a bad name to people selling you stuff at, I don't know, Saks or at Hugo Boss. Those are sales people. They're selling you suits. Yeah, when it comes to the automotive industry. The automotive only the automotive industry is the only industry you can come into where somebody can go ahead and negotiate negotiate on a vehicle where the price is $35,000 on said vehicle, people can go ahead and negotiate it down to $30,000. And then tell you about their trade-in afterwards. For all those that are watching from the automotive industry, you know what the fuck I'm talking about. They'll tell you about the trade later. When I, hey, do you have a trade? No, not right now. Then they get their price. Oh, I got a trade. And then the trade is a hoopty. It's not even in. You can't even find it at you can't even find the price on MMR. It got a missing door. And the person believes that the car is worth $10,000. It's worth it's it's worth nothing. You give them a phenomenal price and they and they go and they say, well, well, you know what? We'll look at this and we'll shop around. Thanks for wasting three to four hours of my time. I'm bigging you guys up in the industry, man. I know how it is. I know how it is. It is absolutely a mind fuck. Especially when you're showing up to work. You're doing everything right. You're trying to you're trying to give the red carpet treatment to anybody who walks in. Let me let me tell you, it's one thing when I worked in when I worked in the automotive industry, it was one one thing that was always put ingrained into my mind is that even when people were coming in to buy a $20,000 vehicle, to them that $20,000 vehicle was a Lamborghini, a Ferrari. And you roll out that red carpet and you treat that person with the utmost respect. You are there to give them an experience. And that goes for any sales anybody in sales. You are there to give people an experience. You're not there you're you're not doing them a favor. They're doing you the favor. But they want an experience. Give them that experience. For anybody from the automotive industry that's tuned in right now, give them the experience that they're looking for. They're only buying a car every once what? Every one what? Once in 10 years? Some will just buy that car and keep it for the rest of their life. Give them that experience so they keep coming back to you. They tell their friends, family members, word of mouth. That guy was good to me. He made it an experience. I felt like I was buying a Lamborghini. And here I was just buying a Toyota Camry. Nothing wrong with a Camry. But I'm just here I am buying something at a $25,000 price and he he or she made my experience phenomenal. By the way, nothing to laugh at about the automotive industry. It's only second to the government when it comes to jobs and revenue. So ain't nothing to laugh at. Ain't nothing to I'm going to make I'm going to make the automotive business great again. I swear to God. I'm going to make the automotive business great again. I do I can't front, man. I can't I said before we go and now I'm on a rant, but I sometimes sometimes I miss it. Sometimes. Sometimes, because you it's you're consistently talking to new people. You make friendships. Like it's a really it's a really it's a really good industry. It gets a bad rap because of the goddamn one or two dealerships that are selling you fucking undercoating for fucking $3,000. But that's not every dealership. Anyway, shout out to you guys. When I get my next car, somebody hooking me up. Somebody's hooking me up with a discount. Anyway, uh, I'll see you guys tomorrow. On that note, have a great day and an even better tomorrow.
