[Part 1 of 4] [00:00] [David] If if we had not had AI, we would be $8 billion less. We had five IPOs, none of them would have happened because I used the AI to design the securities and solve all the tax problems and all the securities law issues. You know, so I like I'm a big believer in using AI to design new things. And I look, I'm just I I focus upon digital credit and security, but there's someone there thinking about how to make the car drive and cure cancer and like like aren't there like 100 million problems the human race has to solve that we that you're like, well, you're going to need a thousand people with PhDs to solve that. Well, guess what? Now every 16-year-old has a thousand PhDs at their fingertips. And so I'm very bullish. The world's going to be a much better place and and we're going to see an age of empowerment and abundance because of digital technology. [00:00] [Guest: Dan] And we could see a resumption of the primary trends in gold and Bitcoin, meaning gold resuming the uptrend and Bitcoin resuming the downtrend. And I think it's also interesting that the main driver of the Bitcoin enthusiasm now and the buying is coming from strategy selling 11 and a half percent uh you know, preferred in basically the equivalent of a Ponzi scheme, but creating a lot of demand by people who either go know it's a Ponzi or don't care. They want 11 and a half percent yield and so by offering people 11 and a half percent yield, Sailor has raised billions of dollars, which he has then used to buy Bitcoin. But had he not bribed people with 11 and a half percent yield, he would not have had the money to buy all that Bitcoin. So that's interesting that the demand for Bitcoin is not because people want Bitcoin, is because people want 11 and a half percent yield. Now, they're they're not going to get it in the in the long run because the whole thing is going to collapse. But that's what's driving Bitcoin, not demand for the Bitcoin itself. People aren't buying strategy or or stretch because they want Bitcoin. If they wanted Bitcoin, they'd just buy it. They're buying stretch because they'd rather have 11 and a half percent return than Bitcoin. [02:22] [Guest: Charles] Plus, there's a lot of unique technology in this that's going to make the use of Cardano safer. Like Midnight Passport will be the fastest, safest, easiest way to use Cardano. So, we gain all the usability enhancements. Plus, I'd argue Midnight is an essential component of the vision that Bitcoin needs to have. When you look at that side of it, you're like, okay, Bitcoin users, they want privacy. So, Cardano could do a lot of the heavy lifting on the programming side, but what it's the private coordination layer that does for all that. So, we're actually working on this programming part of the Bitcoin D5 setup, what we call it the the circle. So, you start with Bitcoin to Cap. I'm going to put 50 Bitcoins of my own money into this. So, you start with Cap and Bitcoin. You lend it to stable coins. So, that all Cardano, sure, it's specialized transactions through the protocol. And then that stable coin would then be deployed into a yield bearing instrument. And then as you make yield, the yield is converted to Bitcoin and then it's sent to your Cap. And then Midnight coordinates all of it and makes it private. So, you you have like all three networks working together, and then you have this circle. And then from the Bitcoin user's perspective, just give them a button. Make money. Click the button. And then it locks their Bitcoin and you start generating a yield. The security actually anchors the Cap on the Bitcoin network. So, it meets my three rules that I have for Bitcoin D5. One, there's only Bitcoin. So, there's no Bitcoin. Bitcoin, Litecoin is better money than than fiat, obviously. Also better money than gold. I think it's I believe it's the best form of money that um humans have ever come across. Right? Money being good, being that it's um it's inflation proof, right? No one, no single person and company or or government can print more money, right? It can print money and play with the money you're holding or uh you're storing. Right? That's kind of one of the key things about money is if you work hard and you make money, you don't want that money to kind of disappear over time, not from your own good. Right? So, that's that's key and Bitcoin and Litecoin, um most cryptocurrencies um is able to to do that. [04:29] [Guest: David] I could have the argument that real estate's better than Bitcoin. For a number of reasons, by the way, depending on who you are. Um, your audience will probably disagree because they're probably a bunch of, you know, Bitcoin maximalist that don't have as much Bitcoin as the real estate guy, by the way. No, I I'll tell you right now, hold on one second. See, that's the funny thing, dude. That me and my brother were talking about this yesterday. You know, the guys that know the most seem to have the least. [04:58] [Guest: Charles] 100%. That that I can probably agree with you on. [05:02] [Guest: David] I think it should be a bigger issue within the crypto system and the ecosystem. What do you think? [05:07] [Guest: Charles] I think it will be. I think privacy is going to be the the new if you want in my view, and this is what I'm tasking the investment professionals at Mailstrom to sort of figure out. I think that the stand out shitcoin or, you know, few shitcoins of 2026 to 2028 will be related some way shape or form to privacy. We already saw the, you know, amazing move of Zcash over the last few months. Yes, it's down 50% from the 780 high, but I think again, my goal is, you know, my mental model is 10 to 20% of the value of Bitcoin. That's what Zcash ends up. So, much higher than where it is today. But, you know, taking away Zcash, what is the token project or protocol that's going to utilize some privacy technology, probably something related to ZK or knowledge proofs to do something whether that's quantum resistant, you know, the AI overlords can't deanonymize our data or, you know, see what we're doing, whatever it is, right? These are the things that we are legitimately afraid of of what bad things that can happen with the proliferation of Big Tech, Big Government. [06:16] [Guest: Nigel] Plus Trump getting elected and knowing that we share friends in the White House for all the populist parties of Europe who are under attack. Every single populist leader, if you look at the leaders, and my last documentary was called Silence. I spent 18 months in prison for my last documentary. The reason I aired it was because the documentary was so bigger than me. It's exactly what they're doing. Lawfare has been waged against if you go through, I'll pick any of them. Pick Gert Wilders, the leader that the Dutch party. Pick Marine Le Pen. Any politician in Europe, yeah? Anyone. Pick pick anyone who has stood up and tried to speak against immigration and you will see a history. Matteo Salvini, I was with him two days ago, the the Deputy Prime Minister of of Italy was prosecuted in 2020. He said he because he stopped the boat. He was prosecuted in 2021. He's been charged other crimes. The process is the punishment. Every political leader who's tried to [07:11] [Guest: Midnight] What first got you excited about blockchains? Think about it. Oh, wait. I bet it wasn't multi-million dollar hacks, exposed data, or finding somewhere safe to store your seed phrase. Was it? Maybe it was the idea of decentralizing a broken financial system. Maybe it was imagining a world where people own their own data and get to sharing the value it creates. Or maybe it was the promise of a fundamentally better way of connecting, communicating, and transacting. The next phase of the internet that empowers us instead of exploiting us. So, why hasn't it happened yet? We're still living with the same broken system that blockchains promised to fix. It's because blockchains can't keep a secret. Enabling open transparent systems was only the first half of the challenge. For blockchains to really change the world, they also have to be able to protect our sensitive data when it matters. And that's why we build Midnight to bring down the final barrier to mass adoption and unlock the full potential of the decentralized web. Let's build the internet we deserve. Together. [08:30] [Guest: Cake Wallet] Ladies and gentlemen, we all know this in crypto, ownership matters. That's why Cake Wallet. [09:14] [Guest: Midnight] This is Houston. T-minus one minute until full data blackout. All eyes are on you. [09:29] [Guest: FOMO] Breaking news, there is an astronaut conducting an emergency repair on a global communication satellite that could go dark at any moment. We have a second angle on this. [09:39] [Guest: David] Is that guy on FOMO? [09:40] [Guest: FOMO] Oh, yeah. Let's get back to it, everybody. [09:58] [Guest: FOMO] Breaking news, there is an astronaut. [10:06] [Guest: FOMO] Opportunity cost is simply this. Every position you take is a position you choose over something else. [10:20] [Guest: FOMO] This just in, according to the astronaut's FOMO account, highest in the room, the satellite has been restored. [10:28] [Guest: FOMO] Yes. For now, the crisis appears to be over. [10:45] [Guest: FOMO] That'll wrap us up and running. Positions look good too. [10:57] [David] There we go. United States of America representing. [11:03] [Guest: David] Socialism does not work. Digital assets is it better to move money at the speed of light. People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. I am here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. I am the modern day Tony Stark. [11:21] [Guest: David] Welcome, welcome, welcome to the damn. My hair is uh growing. My hair is fucking growing. I need a haircut though. I ain't going to front. Anyway, welcome to the show. I just want to start off I want to start off by um obviously 9/11 is a 25th. That 25th. Damn, man. Time flies. Uh but yeah, it's been 25 years. And that is um that's something. I I remember that day. I'm sure everybody does. New Yorkers, come on. It was funny. New York we're always in a rush somewhere. And that's a day that and everybody nobody holds the door in New York. Okay? Anybody who lives in New York, you you know, Tri-State area, ain't nobody especially in New York, ain't nobody holding the door for you. You can go ahead and trip and nobody picking you up. It's just so fast-paced, but 9/11 brought everybody together. That's one thing I remember. Out of the tragedy, and obviously God rest the souls of the people that were taken. Uh, but the one thing that you did see was uh you know, New Yorkers unite. Obviously the entire nation united, but New Yorkers especially united. Um, that that's what I remember. Is New Yorkers uniting. A bunch of volunteers. A lot of my friends went down to to the site to help out, volunteer. I remember stories about just like even to this day, people live with horrific images of just picking up body parts and stuff. So, yeah, it is a it is a it is a sad day. It is uh 100% a sad day. Um, an attack on our country on 9/11 was wild, man. It was wild to witness. I'm sure, you know, every American watching. Shoot. I I'm just I'm just remembering especially again, I said this yesterday, a lot of uh a lot of my friends' fathers were firefighters and or law enforcement and they uh rushed out to the scene. No hesitation. You know, that's the you know, that's why I love law enforcement. Uh police officers, firefighters. Firefighters don't get enough credit at all. Like our firefighters do not get any sort of credit at all. They don't get they don't get as much love as anybody else. But here here we have real heroes that they jumped on fire trucks. They made sure to make their way to to the city to go ahead and see if they can go ahead and help without hesitation. That that's real courage. Those are heroes. Those are role models you look up to. You want to talk about role models, those are the people that you look up to. That that's plain and simple. You know, when Charles Barkley says, I remember Charles Barkley growing up famous basketball player for those who don't know. He's like, I'm not a role model. He's right. Firefighters, the people that went down to the site, those are people you look up to. Those are heroes that were willing to give up their lives to save others. That that is sad. It's sad that it takes you know what it is? It's sad that it takes events like 9/11 for people to come together. It was such a good like it the city came together. It was just sad but amazing at the same time to see like a bunch of random people just saying, you know what, let's let's you know, people are just so nice. And then, you know, we're back to we're back to this. You know? So, but at least there's one day where, you know, everybody does observe and you know, and praise for the people and their families. What what more can be said? Tragic event. You know, obviously the city, DC, Pentagon, uh Pennsylvania, um, yeah, it's sad. Absolutely 9/11 was absolutely sad. Uh sad to witness. Obviously we have conspiracy theorists that, you know, we'll go ahead and talk about, well, you know, detonators were set up in that building a week before that, you know, insurance was taken out on the buildings and we we can go through all that stuff. But at the end of the day, you you can sit back here, ladies and gentlemen, and and, you know, just pray for the families that lost loved ones. That's bottom line. That is one. I remember also like all that after the towers came down, um, living in New York City, the debris that went passing through all the boroughs. And I'm sure anybody who lived in the boroughs knows what I'm talking about. Like everything was it looked like a scene out of Mad Max. I I that's the best way I can describe it. Mad Max or uh what what other movie? It just it just looked like a sandstorm. Horrific. Just a horrific. And I remember like a few weeks later, I think a few weeks later, like the lights the electricity went out in in the boroughs or in New York, I should say. And everybody got spooked out as well on that. It's like, shit, another attack kind of thing. Yeah, sucks, man. Never did we I don't think do we ever think that the United States of America would be attacked? Like I I think I think that I think that was a I think the whole day was a fucking shock. The whole entire day was shocking. I'd say it was just like you're staring and it's like a movie. Like you're really inside of a movie. This shit is happening. Like you only you only see this stuff in movies. It's just like, holy shit. One plane, okay, accident. Second plane, you saw it live on like live I forgot what what channel it was. I think it was Channel 4. Live, another plane just boom, hits hits the second tower. You're like, holy shit. This is really happening. There is something really happening here. So, yeah, that is um, I remember like I said, a few of my family members were out in New York City. They worked there. I was like, shit. I was all I remember saying, man, like damn. Sucks. It really does suck. So, yeah. Really does suck. 9/11, man. 9/11 was I guess our Pearl Harbor. For those who are born born yet, I guess 9/11 was our Pearl Harbor. It's crazy how much people it's crazy how people hate America. It's just absolutely nuts how people hate America. Absolutely nuts. Absolutely nuts. Anyway, welcome to the breakdown. Welcome to the breakdown episode episode uh 782. Shit, I'm in my thoughts. Um, obviously I already said Midnight, Polymarket, Cake Wallet, and FOMO are the sponsors of the show. Damn, like can you even go on can you even go on today? Like can you like can you even go on and like talk about other subjects, crypto, politics, AI, things that I have it all notes I have all the notes down here today and topics to discuss here. And I'm just like now now as I started speaking about 9/11, it's brought back memories and stuff. 25 years, man. It's it's 25 years, man. It is absolutely crazy, man. 25 years. Wild. Wild shit. The whole, you know, I want to take a second and say uh and this might not be the most popular thing uh amongst my friends who are Republicans. I obviously I'm a Republican, but I feel like it can work on both both sides of the fence here. But, you know, maybe and most people maybe won't agree with me. I don't know. Or maybe some will, but I think uh I think people went overboard with Mandani uh the mayor of New York uh forcing him kind of not to attend. I think we might not like, you know, a lot of us don't like his views. Obviously I would not vote for him, but to keep the mayor out, uh yes, I I I understand his views. I get it. But he is the mayor of New York City and um I I I think that you got to put politics aside at times. That that's all I'm going to say. Might not be this might come back to bite me someday. This, you know, saying that, but I think that was I think that was a little bit overboard. Just saying. The mayor of New York City, man, regardless of what I feel, you have to have the mayor, you know, out there and the governor, you know, at the memorial, you know, when they're naming names and stuff like that. I think that I think this is where our country needs. We our country needs healing. You know, if any if anything comes, you know, 9/11 come, you know, it's it kind of reminds me of you know what it and and there's people in the comments already saying that keep him out and stuff like that. But this is what, you know, it reminds me of all these holidays that you have, all these events that you have throughout the uh throughout the year where people are reminded to remember somebody. Like that that that's Valentine's Day, reminder to get your significant other flowers or candy or some shit like that. A card from Hallmark. And then like, you know, like all these commercial holidays and stuff. 9/11 isn't one. First of all, I am not brainwashed. I'm a Republican and I'm saying something that I know might bother you. And that's the problem. 9/11, New Yorkers came together. I'm just saying. 9/11, New Yorkers came together. I I remember the the thing that the things that started happening. You know, I have I have Muslim friends and I remember them absolutely being terrorized after 9/11. And I'm sure people who are watching me right now are like, yo, I know what you're probably fucking thinking. But you know what? Like my my friends didn't do anything. See, I grew up in New York City. We're diverse. We're obviously a lot has changed in New York City. But during my time, really diverse area, man. And we stuck up for people. So, I don't know, man. Now it's absolutely divided. Now it's absolutely divided. Woke left, woke right. Everybody's entitled to their opinion though. Like I said, I I don't have to like Mandani at all. I don't I don't have to like him. But I just feel like the New York City New York City's mayor should be there and and so should the governor. Regardless of their fucking party affiliation, regardless of their fucking thoughts. I I Let people take uh let people take to that however you will. You know, at this point, America's so fucking toxic. It just reminds me of X. Honestly, it reminds me of social media. It's absolutely fucking toxic. Can't even say can't even say something good to like, hey, bring everybody together. Just like, oh, no, what do you what do you talking about? Okay. Guy in the comments uh watches way too much uh way too much. This is not even Fox News. I think you watch I think you watch way too much channel. What is it? Uh OAN OAN, some shit like that. Or Newsmax. We got to get hate out out our hearts, man. Like I'm I'm serious, man. We we got that's how 9/11 You got to get hate out your hearts, man. You don't got to like somebody. And nothing this listen, this communism, socialism, DSA movement is never going to take over America. We got proud patriots that believe in capitalism. This little virus will go away. You've seen it. You've seen it where even an AOC and Bernie Sanders would not endorse Hong for governor. So, anyway, 9/11, uh rest in peace to all those uh who did pass and God bless the families and God bless our firefighters and our law enforcement and emergency services that were rushing to the scene and stayed on the scene working tirelessly. And shout out to the volunteers who have no association with any emergency services that, you know, just random people, New Yorkers rushed in, even people out of state rushed in to the site to help out. So, I was about to hit a sound effect there, but let me stop that. God bless y'all. Anyway, I think we go to a commercial break and we'll be right back right after this uh right after this. [27:22] [Guest: Midnight] What first got you excited about blockchains? Together. [28:42] [David] There we go. United States of America representing. [28:49] [Guest: David] Socialism does not work. Digital assets is it better to move money at the speed of light. People are greedy when they also try to acquire gold. I am here providing electricity and that energy that is necessary. I am the modern day Tony Stark. [29:11] [David] Yeah, I'll get a new commercial for Midnight. I think it's run its course. 100%. Midnight's commercial has run its course. We need a new one. Um, welcome back to the breakdown episode 782. We'll be breaking down crypto. We'll talk about some AI and politics later on the show, but definitely going to break down some crypto. Let me just tell you, my FOMO my FOMO looks absolutely disastrous. Like the stuff that I've gone into, disaster. The stuff that you guys have come into this show and pitched me, disaster. Auggie, I love Auggie. I think Auggie is a obviously, I've talked about them multiple times that Auggie was a huge inspiration for Matt Fury in his creation of Pepe. And here you are, or here you guys are. You throw this shit in the goddamn chat. I go into it. I think I I have like how much did I buy of that? I think it was like I got to look. Close to 3,000. $3,000 worth of Auggie. That shit's down. I bought $5,500 worth of dumb money. That shit's down. It it it is absolutely. But you know what? Dumb money went ahead and bought laptop. So, make make it all make sense for me here. Dumb money had no problem buying going in and buying Hunter Biden's laptop, which absolutely destroyed you motherfuckers. But something like dumb money, which makes sense because it's a narrative it's it's more than a narrative. A great narrative for Robin Hood. No. Even when me locking up. I locked up 290 million tokens. It is absolutely mind-boggling. And I I again, this is more so I've sat back and shout out to the people that are still holding because I'm still holding. Somebody it was a funny question. Somebody asked me on on Twitter. They're like, hey, are you still holding? Or you hold on, what did they say? Are you still a part of hold on. Let me get this right. Somebody said Somebody said This guy said, um, hey David, still involved in Auggie? First of all, I'm not a part of the team. I'm not a part of like the dumb money team. I'm not a part of the fucking Auggie team. I just went in. I'm a market participant. I'm I'm allowed to participate just like you. You know what's funny? I've been watching people who are so like, yo, we're about the movement. Motherfuckers are buying everything, even laptop. Meanwhile, I go ahead and say something, all of a sudden, or or I go into something and God forbid. So, he said, here goes this guy. He says, hey David, still involved in Auggie? And I'm like, what does that mean? Do I still hold bags of it? Yes. Oh, I wanted to know if you're still holding and just answered. I am I'm bagging more since you're still holding. Thanks for not giving up on Auggie. Don't don't do things because I am in these things. This is what I mean. This is exactly what I mean. I wanted to know I wanted I wanted to know if you're still holding and you just answered. I am bagging more since you're still holding. Thank you for not giving up on Auggie. This is what I fucking mean. You're going you should be going into these things based on, hey, I've read up on this. I've seen David go into this. Okay. Why did he go in? Let me tune into his show. Let me see why. Let me figure it out. Before I go ahead and push the buy button, make sure that when I go in, that I've done it based on my own decisions, my own research and not just because of David. But no. You're looking at my FOMO account and you're going in based on what I did. You're copy trading me and then if it does not work out well, uh-oh, David, it's your and I'm just showing you that motherfuckers will not tell you, hey, great job. Or a few will say, great job if it goes to multi-millions. But if it goes to zero, David, it rugged, which I had a person at me and say, hey, dumb money rugged. Good job, Dave. And I'm I was taken back. Hold on. 320 million. I spent $5,500 my own money. I spent it. I fucking locked up 290 million tokens. What more can I do to show the community that I'm about this life? I will not post on X. I will not post my ass off on X because there's no reason to. And people are just waiting because I'm like, I have old school friends that are like, dude, David, they are waiting for you to put in your own money. And I know what that is for people who have followed me and they've seen how nuts I can be, put in 20 grand, 30 grand, 50 grand into charts. That's what people are waiting for. And I got my enemies and haters are waiting inside of these things that I've gone into and FOMO waiting to dump. So, no, I'm going to let it play out because I'm a market participant like just like everybody else. This is also showing that when you don't have supply control. And this is the biggest thing. If you don't have supply control, you're fucked. Because right now, motherfuckers are going into flies. Okay? This is the new thing now. You have people that are going into fly memes. This is how bad it's got in crypto. We have run out of memes. We have run out of memes to go into or create. So, now people are creating memes about insects. This is this is where we're at today. Boys boys and girls, we haven't even gone into the bull run yet and we are fucking going into flies. I am blown away. I I don't know what part I don't know what what part of the cycle this is, but it's definitely not the part where we're in the bull run of the cycle, okay? We got we got things called sex fly, fly fucking, fly fishing. Bro, this is crazy. I I've never seen crazy shit like this in my life. Never. Absolutely never, man. Never, never, never. Just wild shit. The real memes, the real memes are sitting there for you. The real memes are literally Bobo under 5 million. Are you fucking kidding me? An S-tier meme is sitting there looking at you. Bobo. For every, you know, people are like, why does Bobo belong anywhere? Why is Bobo a bear belong in a bull market? Because if you watch a fucking movie like the Avengers or Batman, there's always a villain. And that is Bobo because Bobo enjoys red days, okay? So, it's kind of like Batman and Joker. Bobo is the Joker. And you guess what? A lot of people went to watch the Dark Knight because of the Joker, okay? And a lot of people go to watch movies because of the villain. And the Joker, if you watch the Dark Knight, Heath Ledger fucking did such an amazing job. You were more interested in the Joker than you were in Batman. And that's what Bobo is. For you guys who don't have an IQ to understand or do not know anything about memes, you want Bobo to participate in the markets because on red days, here comes Bobo just laughing his ass off. Have you seen the Bobo community? We laugh when the market goes down. Like we laugh. We use memes. A lot of people use the Bobo meme to express themselves in red days. And we will have red days even in the bull market. It's just it's weird. You got things like that on the sidelines. You got Bobo, you got Pepe, you got Doge, you got Sheb, you got you got you got like I'll name them all out. You got a lot of things S-tier type memes on the sideline, troll. So, you got all these things sitting there. And y'all are going into fly fucks and fly fishing and sex flies and you know, it's weird. And and then I'm listening to programs where they're talking about, you know what? We need more memes to trade. We don't need to be holders. We need to be traders. What the fuck are you talking about? That is not crypto. Whatever these fucking broccoli head motherfuckers have done. This is not crypto. Crypto is not designed to gamble. The meme economy.
[Part 2 of 4] [00:00] itself is not designed to gamble. It's it's fucking it's a middle finger to the fucking institutional motherfuckers. I I don't get it. Let me calm down cuz this is I'm supposed to be calm. Okay? I'm not supposed to be crazy. I'm not supposed to raise my voice. I got to remind myself live on this show. Shout out to everybody who watches this show, not only from their phones, not only from their desktops, but live on live on their TVs. Samsung, Sony's. Shout out to you. Thank you. Oh my God. Let me calm down. [00:38] It's it's amazing. It's amazing. And and yes, and a lot of this took happened yesterday, right? The entire market went backwards. All the good memes went backwards. But everybody's like, look at that, look at this. I'm like, are you not are you just like that dense that you do not look at what's happening in the markets? Are you still having people hold your hand? Like I remember this. People have to hold people's hands in this fucking markets. You you refuse, you refuse to go ahead and do any sort of fucking research. You refuse to go ahead and open up a laptop, a a desktop to look. You got AI, which is free. If you got a premium plus membership with fucking X, you get Grock. You can easily ask Grock for information on certain What is going on? And by the way, I I seen Rex L, like for real, I seen Rex L Groper. So I went ahead and sold Groper. I was like, ah, maybe this shit is finished. And then Groper comes out again. And now it's Peg to Solana. So I go back in and yesterday, the crazy I'm telling you, man, the craziest shit has happened to me. I go back into Groper and I accidentally sell Groper. I have like 10.1 million tokens of Groper. I sell it because I'm trying to sell Solana to get more Groper. I sell accidentally Groper and then I get back in and now I'm at 9.4 million. Like it's fucking crazy. I got to tell you, like fucking crazy, man. Shout out to me. Shout out to me, man. Holy fuck. Crazy. I like Groper. I I think Groper I I don't know. You know, Rex, you know, Rex Kashi for real, on the real, man. He everything he's touched, look, Bobo has gone to 220 all-time high 235 million. You had Wojack on Solana. I think it went over 50 million, maybe 80 million. I mean, this is I feel like when Rex steps on the gas, he can send things and that's why I'm betting on Groper. Groper is like Groper is known, bro. Like Groper is a fucking known meme, so that's why I went in. I'm betting on Rex. That's it, man. And it's peg now to Solana. So you get free Solana. Or Solana reflections. Easy. Easy bet. Anyway, let's look at what let's look at this disaster of a of a profile. I got to make a huge comeback. But I can't put money in. Because if I put in money, then then there's no point of doing any of this shit. Let's look at the disaster here. Uh my FOMO account. Let's look at this this disaster. Uh dumb money here. Uh everybody who's a diamond hand holder. Uh obviously they are not diamond hand holders because they went to 1.3 million and now you look at this thing. I I mean, at this point, this is bottom. 105.6 bottom. I mean, this is bottomed out. And then we have the top holder has 57.5 million tokens. Ain't nobody coming. Trust me, ain't nobody going to come in. I respect you in this, man, because hey, man, listen, man. I respect the fuck. Yeah, you're in it, you're getting in. I I respect that, but ain't nobody going to look no outsiders are going to come in into Oh, Groper's going up. I didn't even notice. How did that switch like that? Go back to dumb money. Nobody's coming into this with a with over 6%. Like I'm telling you right now that it's not happening. That's not happening, man. I I I'm telling you as a veteran in this space, when when we anybody sees 6%, that's not bullish, it's bearish. It's it's immediate. Just it's a bearish thing. Even if we even people know that you're going to hold, it's just bearish. So yeah, Fifi, 100% absolutely. I I am absolutely and and you know what? Like I said, if it doesn't happen today, it'll happen in six months. Bull market comes around, the the narrative shift, people look at this kind of stuff and they go, oh, this makes sense and people go in. But right now, they are people are absolutely taking liberties. I will not put money in. I'm telling you right now, as much as I want to put money in, as much as I want to put money in. Yesterday I even thought about it. I was so close to putting in money into Auggie and it's a dumb money. I held back because I said, I cannot do this no more. I cannot support the poors, okay? Or support the not even the poors, cuz that that's bad taste. Fuck it, but I'll still say it. I can't support the poors. I can't. And I also can't support the motherfuckers that are sitting in there with good positions waiting for me to put money in to dunk on me. I can't do that. I'm not going to be exit liquidity. I'm not going to be the last community member. I promised myself that I would not be the last community member standing. I'm sorry. This is about me winning. Like you guys are going to win, I want to win. We can all win together. If not, I'll win by myself. Let's look at Auggie. This shit is absolutely 37.2K. I mean, this shit went up to 600K and here it is. This is gross. Like this is absolutely disgusting. This is disgusting. So it is what it is. Uh it is what it is. Groper, that's what I think it hit it hit high into the 275 area. It's currently at 193. I was thinking of buying more. I was thinking of buying more. Uh haven't bought yet. Let's look at Fly Brain. $15.3 million. Has no history, no lore, no nothing. But here we are. VCs are in. 15.4 million. Maybe I should go for you know, maybe I'm doing all this wrong. I'm starting to think maybe maybe I'm doing everything wrong. Maybe I need to go and align myself, talk to some of these big time VCs, sit down and and maybe accept the deal. You know, hey, you know what? I'm going to start I'm going to start going over here and I'm going to go into these plays. Fuck it. Because they nothing that I've said has inspired anybody to do anything. It's maybe a few people. No doubt about it, but I mean, look, this is like social experiments and you can tell. I got fucked on Auggie live 4K. And now I mean on a fucking play that Robin Hood is everything about dumb money. Here I am on this one too. Getting raw dog from behind, no reach around. So fuck it. Fuck it. I don't know, man. I I have no I have no clue. I'm sorry, man. This has you know what? This has nothing to do with emotion. This just this is fucking disgusting, homeless, fucking welfare behavior. I I'm sorry. That's how I'll put it. That's why when I tell you the if I ever come out with something, it's 90% supply. I'm telling you guys right off rip, expect it. 90%. Nothing less than 90% supply. I am sorry. If I ever think about it, it's 90%. There ain't no way. There's absolutely Fuck it. Run it up to 95%. There is no way. No way I'm letting any I'm in full control. I ain't letting no animals control any of my shit. Fuck that. Holy shit. Thank God I can still trade. Thank God I that's all I can say. Thank God I still trade and thank God I came in early. Holy fuck. This is horrific. Anyway, Listen, uh I'll bring in Landy here for a few minutes uh to go ahead and talk about uh what's happening in crypto. What's up, Landy? How's everything going? [00:40] [Guest: Landy] Good. Good. Um, yeah, and uh, you know, just today's obviously a very important day. So was yesterday, uh, for that matter. [00:51] [David] Yes. [00:52] [Guest: Landy] Um, today is, you know, very important as uh, I I referred to it as uh, the the day that time stood still because that's kind of what it felt like at the time. Um, but, you know, uh, keeping myself uh, busy as well, uh, well, well honoring and remembering the memories of the lives lost. Um, on 9/11. Um, but keeping myself busy, obviously, looking at markets, trading, um, you know, obviously, heavy focus on the crypto markets, but still watching what's going on in traditional markets as well. You know, and there's not a lot that I haven't talked about, um, regarding, you know, Bitcoin and the majors in the crypto markets that we haven't seen kind of play out in a manner that we've kind of expected at this point. So, it's it's about, um, you know, where where things are consolidating. Everything kind of looks the same. You can look at Bitcoin, you look at all the majors, they're all looking at, you know, we're looking at essentially the same type of chart. Um, in terms of price action right now, it's a lot of hurry up and wait. We had big economic data this week, um, regarding, you know, producer price index for manufacturers, um, and then, um, you know, CPI data. Uh, I think that it was, you know, all came in around expected or in one case, uh, under expected for producer price index yesterday. CPI data pretty much in line with what was what the expectations were. Uh, so now that that's behind us, we'll see kind of how long things kind of sit around and consolidate in the crypto markets. Um, Bitcoin, uh, is stuck in a major inflection point, as are all of the majors. All of the all of the majors are stuck in these really big inflection points for price action between the bull market and bear market. So, it is kind of, um, it's interesting and something that, uh, I think, you know, on a Friday coming into the weekend, I don't know if we'll see any fireworks or anything like that, but definitely in the coming weeks as we progress through towards the middle of the month. Definitely pay attention. Um, we might even get some false moves first, but, you know, we are consolidating in a very tight range right now and have been for the past couple of weeks, just as we did prior to the move up. So, it is worth paying attention, um, you know, to see if we get any further moves up from here. Uh, and and if we get a move down, I think it I think it's actually more interesting if we get a move down from here. And, uh, what the market reaction would be, although the the upside still is on the table for the bulls if they would like to take it. Uh, but, you know, the clock is starting to run. Um, we've got energy. [01:52] [David] So what do you think happens? In the next week or two, what do you what do you think happens here? [01:56] [Guest: Landy] I I don't I don't have an opinion. In fact, I can share this with you. This is what I've been saying is I'm I'm in a no trade zone right now. Um, I've taken a couple of scalps here. Um, this is just Bitcoin, but you can take a look at any chart on cryptocurrencies and you're going to see the same kind of thing. You had the consolidation and then a a large move up. You know, we had a very tight consolidation, big boom to the upside, and then we're right in a very big inflection point. And this is an inflection point on the monthly. So, this is where we have, um, two big, uh, areas, the last higher low of the bull market, and then, of course, the lower high of this bear market currently. And this is like a decision point. I don't have an opinion right here right now. I think that the bulls still have the edge here in this range. Um, you know, capture this, uh, higher low and take out the lower high. I think that we could potentially push up to some pretty pretty good, uh, price points, mid 80s and potentially even upper 80s to lower 90s. But if we drop this area, we're we're very likely looking at, um, you know, if we drop the mid 70s, specifically this bottom side around 76, uh, to 74, um, which we just tested 76 today. That was the, um, the lower high on the monthly on a close, uh, on a closing basis. If we did drop that down to the mid 70s and happen to drop the mid 70s, we're probably looking at the lows again. You know, you could start looking at the mid 60s to upper 60s again and potentially even roping back in the low. Um, there is what I've and this is something I've said, uh, the past couple of days, I've been bringing up. What we're seeing is, um, the markets are bifurcated between crypto native exchanges, um, that have been that are still heavily weighted on the short side. Um, we did start to see them align long a little bit more, and I'll bring this up, but still a lot of shorts in the market. So, I'll share this tab. So, this is crypto native exchanges. This is just the aggregate long short ratio. I like to look at the daily, um, and we're we're we're now net long. But, uh, you know, we're not we're not overly long in this area. In fact, um, you know, some of the shorts did close today on the big move down in the early goings. They closed, which helped provide for some, uh, you know, helped provide for some long, um, as they were closing out. Some of the long side to start picking up and then people longing off of this swing of the low, uh, into $76,000 for Bitcoin. But what I think is more important and and is really interesting, um, is we still have, and I'm going to refresh this page, so I make sure I have the most up-to-date data, uh, to show here. And that is that we still have CME. What's interesting about CME and, um, maybe I'll I'll shrink the screen down so it fits a little bit more. Um, CME is still flipped long in its put to call, uh, ratio. So, it's call to put ratio in this case. We're seeing a lot more, you know, on the move up, and this really started to flip right as we were moving and breaking out above $65,000. We saw CME, um, flip long. And we've only seen CME flip long, uh, net long, uh, once, maybe twice in the past. Um, and they've been net long on the call to put ratio for quite some time. Now, this is just the ratio of of calls to puts. There is a little bit different positioning when you're starting to look at dollar amounts. But we were seeing that the crypto market right where we are at this particular inflection point on the daily, throughout, um, Bitcoin and the rest of the wider crypto markets consolidation up here in this big inflection point at the monthly's. We saw that crypto native, um, side of the market was net short, while the institutional side of the market, being CME, uh, futures, and then, of course, the spot ETFs have been net long. And the institutional side has been net long the entire time. This is actually something that we haven't seen before. Uh, typically they are moving in in conjunction with each other, net long and net short. Um, with with the institutional players being the outliers, right? Not usually the crypto native side of things. So, crypto native being net short, while CME is net long. Typically, you would see that the other way around on a move up. So, it's, um, it is reflected in the consolidation and price action that we're seeing right here. And if we do start to see, uh, a little bit of a breakout above the, uh, 82.8 for Bitcoin and relevant areas for the majors, start to break those highs and get above that higher low, close open, and the test of it, which was a lower high on these longer term time frames. You know, I am looking for this to head up to mid, uh, mid 80s, uh, to, you know, upper 80s, low 90s, um, as a bigger zone of interest, um, directly overhead. We've got some major areas on the weekly between 86 and 89. I call this 84 to 86 on lower term time frames. And, you know, 89, 90, um, and potentially even more up into the 93 and a half area if things really got rolling in a, uh, in an aggressive fashion to the upside through the mid 80s. To the downside, if we start to break down from 74, Bitcoin can save itself in and around 70 to 72, but realistically, if we start to get expansion down from a nice compression like this, if that doesn't hold up, we're looking right back in towards some main areas around the mid 60s, 65 to 68 being fair game. And that, of course, opens up the entire low side structure if it drops that, um, we start looking right back to the lows. But right now, I have no opinion. Just waiting for things to resolve one way or another. Beware of fake outs that failed to close below 74. Beware of fake outs that failed to close above, I would say, 82 and a half to 83 above the highs here. Um, you want to see follow through above the highs. You want to see follow through below the lows if we are going to get some of those more aggressive moves to resolve this consolidation. [03:03] [David] Welcome to the breakdown, uh, episode 782. We have Landy here breaking down Bitcoin and where potentially we could be going. Um, yeah, I I don't by the way, I don't think the Fed's going to not rates or or up them either. I think we could be wrong in this, but I I think he comes out and says, I think Kev comes out and says, I don't know. Could be wrong, but I think I I think that's what's going to happen. I I I can't see us hiking rates, man. I just can't. And watch it happen. Watch it happen because I said that just now, watch it fucking happen. [03:49] [Guest: Landy] I think I might have rug. So, I might be able to. [03:52] [David] I rug. [03:53] [Guest: Landy] No, me. I think I rug. Am I still here? [03:57] [David] Yeah, you're still here. [03:59] [Guest: Landy] Okay. Um, look, they the Fed has room to raise rates if they want to. The market is giving them that room. I'm of the opinion that Warsh doesn't take it and the Fed doesn't take it. Um, but there's absolutely zero reason to cut. If they cut, they'd be indicating that there is a problem in the markets that the markets haven't priced in. So, there's no reason to cut. I do not see any cuts, uh, this year thus far. Um, and I know that I was looking for maybe one cut by the end of the year. I just don't see it. [04:32] [David] Right now, Polymarket, shout out to Polymarket. Polymarket is the official sponsor, prediction market sponsor of the breakdown. And here they have I I haven't looked at this yet and they have it at let's see, uh, 81% 25 basis point increase. That's up 53%. No change is down 35% to 18%. So. [04:56] [Guest: Landy] So, as of today, it's 81% possibility that 25 basis point increase is coming. [05:03] [David] What do you think? [05:03] [Guest: Landy] And that's that's, um, they have the room to do so. So, I've had, uh, some good conversations with, uh, with, uh, a a friend who's, uh, into markets, been on my show a few times, um, or once. Uh, no, actually hasn't been on the show yet. Uh, but I co-hosted a show with him, um, uh, as a live stream last week. Um, Mr. Spread and I were talking specifically about rates and the three-year, I'm sorry, the three-month, um, rates in secondary are giving the Fed plenty of room to raise rates, that 25 bips. It really is about whether or not the Fed determines that they want to hedge, um, and and try to curtail inflation. I don't think they do. I don't think there's enough evidence for them to actually raise. But if they want to take it, it's there for the taking. They can rise with the market if they want. Um, there is no you're not going to hear cut because if they if they say cut, like I just said, if they say cut and if they indicate cut, then they're saying to the market, especially after Warsh's, um, speeches that he's given, um, Jackson Hole specifically. When he says that he wants the market to lead, what he's saying is he wants the market to price things, right? And then the Fed will react because the market can price things faster than the Fed can because the Fed is waiting for data to come in and the data always lags. So, if they indicate that they're going to cut at any point, what they're saying to the market is, hey, even though I said, you know, that, uh, that we want the market to lead, we're seeing something that you don't. That would cause a lot of turmoil in the markets. So, you're not going to see that. Um, but there is there is a real base case for the reasons why you're seeing the Fed decision to raise 25 points starting to race towards an 80% read. I personally think, this is my personal opinion, even though all of the evidence is there that says that they could raise rates and the market wouldn't even have a problem with it because the market's already pricing it. I don't see them actually doing it because I don't think that the underlying data is sticky enough for them to warrant a a Fed funds rate increase. And I think he wants secondary to stay in the driver's seat as well. But that's just me. That's my opinion. All the data points to them as having the ability, the the and the room to do so. [08:38] [David] I don't think we're ever paying off this debt, so. [08:41] [Guest: Landy] We don't need to pay off the debt. See, this is a fallacy and I hate that Republicans and Democrats use it this way. It's not the debt number is not the problem. It is the reoccurring payments on that debt. It is the it is the the growth not. [08:59] [David] But then then then in some way the debt is the problem. [09:03] [Guest: Landy] No. No, it is not. It's the it is the finance it's the financial structure around that debt and it is the economy itself that has been held back with keeping up with that debt. Right? So, you can't you had the Fed constantly putting the brakes on the economy. Anytime we get good employment numbers, they go they cry inflation, right? And the Fed would stamp out that inflation, which then causes job. [09:29] [David] Landy, how do you get rid of inflation? Landy, how do you how do we get rid of inflation? [09:34] [Guest: Landy] We have to outgrow it. That's the only solution or you collapse the entire system. [09:37] [David] Okay, great. We have to outgrow it. How we we are still [09:43] [Guest: Landy] How do you do that? How do you do that? I I will tell you. It's it's through job creation and stop stamping out job. [09:49] [David] Great. And that's not happening right now. [09:52] [Guest: Landy] It is happening. Where where have you been? [09:54] [David] Here. What are you talking about? Watching. [09:57] [Guest: Landy] What do you Okay. So, did you not see the hot reads on, uh, non-farm? We've been steadily growing in employment and jobs. You want to go look at the data for yourself? You can go look at the data. [10:14] [David] Yeah, the numbers can be fucking absolutely. I I can go ahead and print the same numbers out, Landy. [10:20] [Guest: Landy] They're not. No. Okay. Look, if I can't present if you're not going to if you're not going to accept the data, then we can't have a conversation. I say this to anybody who, you know, I said this even during the Biden's term. You have to accept the data. [10:31] [David] I know you you can't accept the fact there are people there are people that still can't get a job. [10:40] [Guest: Landy] I don't care. That doesn't match reality. Just because they can't get a job. [10:42] [David] No, you don't care. We've had this we've had this conversation before. [10:45] [Guest: Landy] No, just because they can't get a job. It's anecdotal evidence. When you have job. [10:49] [David] No, no, it's just not. It's just not, Landy. There are people that still can't get a job. There's still not enough private sector jobs, even though they come out, nobody's hiring. Okay? The the pay is low, rent is high, cost of food is high, gas is still high. Trump keeps promising that we're ending this war. Like it's like [11:07] [Guest: Landy] Okay, then show me the data because everything that you're showing me is anecdotal. Everything that you're saying is anecdotal. [11:12] [David] No, it's not. It's not. It's just I'm using Trump's words, man. Like I'm a supporter of Trump, but it's like God forbid you say something that goes against everything. It goes against the Republican Party. We we can't talk facts. It's like you're a panicking. [11:22] [Guest: Landy] It's not saying it is. [11:24] [David] No, I'm like watching Trump say things that aren't true. [11:30] [Guest: Landy] Oh, I'm not this is not we're not talking about what Trump said. I'm not talking about what Trump said. [11:34] [David] Well, he's the president, so we should be watching what he's talking about. This is why we're going to lose the we're going to lose the midterms because it's we're losing we're going to lose the midterms because I don't care what every single [11:44] [Guest: Landy] Because of perception. That's fine. [11:46] [David] No, we're we're losing it because we're not acknowledging that there are problems. We'll lose it because of this Iran war, which yes, Iran should have a fucking nuclear weapon. I agree with that. But you know what? We are now stuck in a war where we're what? Printing money, right? [12:03] [Guest: Landy] No. [12:03] [David] Oh, so it's not costing us money. It's a free war. [12:06] [Guest: Landy] The the budget they they didn't they didn't approve any new budget for this. [12:10] [David] How how do we restock how how do we restock? [12:13] [Guest: Landy] That's money that they were already allocated. [12:15] [David] Okay. But we need more money because they went out there asking for more money. So, how do we restock the piles? [12:21] [Guest: Landy] Okay, yeah, and and your point being, are are we ever going to stop spending money on the military? [12:25] [David] We're we're wasting money that can go towards Americans. We're wasting money towards something that will never end. This is another this now feels like it's going to be another 10 to 20 year fucking war. I can't believe I'm actually fucking saying this, but it's the truth. [12:42] [Guest: Landy] I mean, you're you're flipping faster than than. [12:45] [David] I'm not flipping. I'm watching reality happen. You know what? I'm watching the president and I respect him. I voted for him. three times. So like, but I can go ahead and call he's done great things, but we can go ahead and talk. We can talk about what he says. [12:59] [Guest: Landy] I'm not you're talking you're talking about feelings versus economic data. [13:04] [David] I'm not talking about feelings. You want me to play his tapes, especially yesterday's interviews? [13:08] [Guest: Landy] Yeah, I watched, uh, a majority of them. That doesn't mean that I agree with. [13:12] [David] So, anybody like if we take off the maga hats and we look at everything that's happening, we'd say, you know what? Yeah, like maybe you should speak. [13:18] [Guest: Landy] You're having a different conversation. I when I say when I'm saying look at the job data that's rolling in. And when I say something like the Fed always stomps on growth and jobs because they perceive growth and jobs as inflation, and you tell me that people aren't getting jobs and there's no growth and jobs, and I tell you that's not true. That has nothing to do with what Trump said yesterday. That is pure economics. I look at charts, I look at the underlying economic data. [13:45] [David] They also said we will create jobs on the Biden and obviously we were just expanding the government. [13:50] [Guest: Landy] But that showed in the economic data. [13:52] [David] Numbers numbers can go ahead and be maneuvered. And it's yes. [13:55] [Guest: Landy] No, no, this is this is the falsehood that no. [13:58] [David] It's not a falsehood. It's reality. [13:59] [Guest: Landy] Because the economic data that was coming out at the time did not support what they were saying. [14:04] [David] Okay. Okay. Listen, we can differ. We can differ. We can differ. [14:08] [Guest: Landy] We can differ. Do you look at this economic data on a daily basis? Yes. Do you understand what's going on in the economic data? I don't know because we're talking two different things right now. And during Biden's term, when they were touting the economic data and job and and jobs growth, they were you could go and you could parse through the bullshit of the numbers. [14:31] [David] Okay, let me ask you a question. Let's let's talk about bullshit. Where where's the dose checks? [14:36] [Guest: Landy] What does that have to do with what I'm talking about? [14:38] [David] I'm just asking you. I'm asking you. Hey, hold on. Hold on. I'm asking you a question. Where are the dose checks? Because he's talking about $5,000 in dividends if we elect Republicans again to hold the House and Senate. Where's the dose checks, though? Why would somebody believe that they are actually going to get that especially a lot of the shit that [14:58] [Guest: Landy] I'm not I'm not saying that anybody is. What why are you asking me? [15:02] [David] Because I'm just I'm I'm I'm leading I'm leading because you're saying, hey, you're just listening emotional. No, no, I'm not emotional. I'm listening to a man speak, okay? And say things. I've listened to a man going to campaign trail, say things and he's delivered on some, but a lot he hasn't. [15:19] [Guest: Landy] And this is different. [15:20] [David] And then he's sitting there saying that in the next two years we're going to block everything from the Democratic side because they will run the House and Senate. So now we're going to block everything. And this is what I mean. America will not grow just because it it is a battle of two squads who don't like each other. And the American people suffer. So like, you want to go ahead and bring out every fucking number, that's great. I'm telling you reality. People are desperately trying to get jobs and they can't. [15:48] [Guest: Landy] Look, you are talking about sentiment as a rebuttal to what I am seeing in economic data. And sentiment and economic data are two different things. [16:02] [David] So, so for the people that can't pay for their shit, what what do we tell them? Don't worry, the sentiment is good. [16:07] [Guest: Landy] People haven't been able to pay for their shit from administration to administration for a very long time. [16:11] [David] This is but this is now the Trump administration. Let's not talk about Biden. We know what happened. [16:15] [Guest: Landy] No, I'm not talking about Biden. I didn't say shit about. [16:17] [David] We know that administration was garbage. [16:18] [Guest: Landy] I said from administration to administration for a very long time. There's different things. [16:21] [David] Okay, but like here we're we're being told that these things are going to happen. And I know they're not overnight. You might think this is panicking time. It's not. It's just me saying, hey, like here's the situation right now. And I know and I've been saying this for a really long time. It will take time. It'll probably maybe happen after Trump leaves office. But there are things that you can do to go ahead and move in that direction. Does the Iran war, let me ask you a question. Does the the war in Iran, does that move us in the right direction, Landy? It's just like yes or no. It doesn't have to be all like fucking here's here's a 93 page thesis. Does the Iran war, this Middle East war that we are now involved in, that no other country wants to get involved in, except us, along with Israel, does this benefit the American people? I'm just asking you, like a straight up question. [17:11] [Guest: Landy] In the long term, yes, in the short term, no. [17:13] [David] Correct. So, in the short term, which is this is what I'm aiming at. Right now there are people that are inside of America that they can't get the things that they're accustomed to getting. Prices are too high. [17:25] [Guest: Landy] When accustomed to getting when? You're saying you're you are talking about a problem that is long existed well before Trump, well before Obama, well before even Bush. [17:40] [David] Okay. Tell me how it's different. [17:44] [Guest: Landy] Okay. It's not different. Was there no unemployment, uh, in in the 80s? Was there no unemployment in the 70s? [17:48] [David] I'm not talking about unemployment. I'm not I'm not talking about unemployment. You will always have I'm not you will always have unemployment. [17:53] [Guest: Landy] Because you moved you moved the cheese all over the place on me here. [17:56] [David] You will always have unemployment. Like exactly. That that's not a that's not something that we we will ever disagree on. I'm talking about there are people out here, not just in New York, all over the country that would like to get a job that can't get a job. And that's a fact. That's not like me playing semantics. [18:15] [Guest: Landy] No, that's always been a fact. [18:17] [David] No, but they they you know, you have people that don't want to work and live off of our taxes. And then you have people that want to work but can't get a job. And they they actually they've gone to school, they have loans on themselves. They can't get a job in their profession that they went to college for. And it's not because they're lazy. That's what I'm talking about right now. [18:36] [Guest: Landy] That's because they went to they went to college for to get degrees in professions that no longer need those degree holders. You know that and I know that too. Now you're talking about a different problem. [18:49] [David] Let's rewind. Let's rewind. This is before this is before AI before the AI boom. [18:56] [Guest: Landy] It was already people getting degrees that don't get you anywhere. [19:00] [David] Okay. Uh listen, I'm not talking about fucking somebody going to I'm talking about I'm not. [19:08] [Guest: Landy] I I literally built a college. [19:09] [David] I built a college. This is like the semantics of You're talking about somebody that was in the educational sector to try and solve problems because I saw these problems a long, long time ago and trying to get people into the workforce because a lot of the degrees that they were getting even back then did not align with the job market and what was needed in the job market. So, I literally built a accredited and nationally accredited college, all right? So, you're literally right in my wheelhouse for understanding what is going on when it comes to the job market. [19:42] [David] This is this is why the Democrats are going to win. It's it's this I want you to rewatch this show today and listen to yourself. [19:49] [Guest: Landy] No, because you are not you are being. [19:50] [David] No, and I'm going to tell you why. I'm going to tell you why. [19:52] [Guest: Landy] You are you are being a straw man ass argument. [19:54] [David] No, it's not. Because this is this is why these people are voting for the DSA fucking candidates. It's because of this kind of language. [20:03] [Guest: Landy] No, it's not. You're not going to paint me with that. [20:05] [David] No, but I'll tell you why. [20:06] [Guest: Landy] No, no, no. [20:07] [David] I know I won't I can't even get a word out. [20:10] [Guest: Landy] No, because you pissed me off because you are literally you are literally. [20:13] [David] I love my show when I can't get a word out. You can respond. You can respond to if you feel like I'm playing you in some way, you can respond. But let me finish. [20:18] [Guest: Landy] No, you are. [20:20] [David] Can I finish? [20:21] [Guest: Landy] No. [20:22] [David] So I can't finish on my own show. [20:23] [Guest: Landy] Because this bullshit you literally said. [20:24] [David] Hold on, I can't finish on my own show. [20:26] [Guest: Landy] No, you can finish. It's fine, bro. You you can you can. [20:29] [David] You have you have people you have you have these young kids that went to college. You have to go to college, man, in order to go ahead and get a job, especially in the private sector. These are the criteria to meet. Look at Coinbase. If you want to apply for a job with Coinbase, they want you to have 10 years of fucking experience in crypto along with a fucking MBA. Okay? That that's what they're asking for. That's the entry level. Go look at it. I can pull it up right now for you. Here are these kids going into after high school, they go to college. They take out loans because most have to take out loans because their parents can't afford it. They take out loans, they go in for four years. They do their time, they come out. There is nothing available for them. [21:12] [Guest: Landy] So, you're preaching to the crowd. [21:13] [David] You can say, hey, they you can say whatever you want about them going into the wrong field. That's the field that they wanted to go into. [21:20] [Guest: Landy] That's great. [21:21] [David] Okay? So and and that's the field that there's there there was opportunities there for them or supposed to be opportunities, which aren't there. That's what I'm talking about right now. [21:29] [Guest: Landy] And who sold them that bill of goods? The college did. [21:34] [David] So, the capitalism system so the capitalism hasn't worked for them, which you're leading me right and I thank you for the. [21:41] [Guest: Landy] No, it is not. It's not working for them and that's why they're turning to the Mandanies and all these crazy ass people that want to bring socialism and communism into America. [21:52] [Guest: Landy] The college is not a capitalist system. [21:56] [David] If you don't want to see it, that's fine. You can wear the glasses that you're wearing on the puppet right now. [21:57] [Guest: Landy] No, you you don't seem to understand. Stop painting stop painting the the the narrative of I am the other side because one, I never said any of the things. I didn't. [22:05] [David] You said I'm flip-flopping. So that means that you're flip-flopping. I'm flip-flopping from So you're making my point. I'm flip-flopping from the Republican's position. [22:12] [Guest: Landy] No, you're not. [22:13] [David] So where am I flip-flopping? [22:14] [Guest: Landy] No, you're not. There were because you are misrepresenting what I was talking about. You're even trying to. [22:19] [David] It's not it has nothing to do with you. It has nothing to do with what you were talking about. [22:23] [Guest: Landy] No, because when you're talking when you're talking about. [22:24] [David] I talked about when Trump's administration is talking about and you took it upon yourself to say that I'm flip-flopping. [22:29] [Guest: Landy] Yes. Because we were talking about. [22:31] [David] So like I didn't flip-flop. I didn't flip-flop your words. I flip-flop Trump's. [22:35] [Guest: Landy] No, you brought in outside words and applied it to what I was saying. [22:39] [David] So there there are no So I know so let me ask you a question. I know no people, especially from where I grew up that that can't get a job right now. [22:51] [Guest: Landy] Okay. I didn't say that. You're using anecdotal. [22:54] [David] But you're saying that. You're you're essentially saying that. [22:56] [Guest: Landy] No, I'm not. What I what I'm telling you is that the economic data has been strengthening on the workforce side of things for quite some time. Now, does that mean that all the problems are solved? No one's saying that. What I'm saying is the economic data for the job market has been strengthening. What you're talking about is a different problem that I don't disagree with. And if you're talking about people going into college and getting degrees in certain sectors and are unable to find a job, there's a been a massive problem there and it and it's been been massive problem for a very long time. We're going back more than 15 years when I was involved in trying to build out to service some of that. [23:39] [David] let me ask you a question. Do you think anybody cares about what's been happening for the last 15 to 20 years? I'm current generation. I'm not I'm not talking about. [23:47] [Guest: Landy] You know why? Because I would I would hope that you would want to have a real robust conversation about the problem. [23:52] [David] This is and I'm telling you nobody no young person who just finished college and can't get a job cares about what happened 20 decades ago. [23:58] [Guest: Landy] I'm not talking about the election. This is bigger than the election. No one gives a shit about. [24:01] [David] You're not listening to what you're not hearing me. A young person graduating from a university right now does not care what has been going on from administration to administration to administration. When they're sold a bill of goods from the current administration, which they've grown up in and they're not getting. [24:16] [Guest: Landy] What is what is the bill of goods?
[Part 3 of 4] [Caller] [00:00] specifically. [David] [00:01] Okay. If you don't know that, that's crazy. [Caller] [00:03] No, specifically what is Trump's What is the bill of goods regarding jobs? [David] [00:08] Everything that Trump sold to the entire nation when he ran for office. [Caller] [00:12] What did he say? What did he say that he wanted the focus to be on? [David] [00:15] Trades and trade schools and reforming the education system to prepare the workforce for this economy and the new world. Right? And if you you can you can argue, okay, that hasn't been done yet, but the wheels have been turning in that regard. Trade school enrollment is up thousands of percent across the country. Part of the reason why you see a lot of bigger universities turn out a lot of college students that don't get jobs in the field in which they studied is because there is a lot of there's a glut of people in those fields that they are pitching to those cohorts of students coming in every semester. They're pitching these fields that they get subsidized to teach in that have low demand for workforce for they they administration has talked about this. Now, is that the pitch that you're seeing when he's up there talking on stage? No, it's not. You're getting the most distilled um TV advertisement pitch of that stuff, but this is stuff that the administration has talked about. [David] [01:23] I watched the whole interview. I'm not watching the clips. It's the whole interview. [Caller] [01:26] I get it, but my point to you is is when you look at the underlying numbers, the numbers are reflecting a shift in focus. Now, the current if you're looking at the past four-year graduates that are just coming out now, they've already been locked in and had their their their programs have been paid or they owe on them. But, you know, you have heavily subsidized government programs. You know, the majority of college students come out of um come out of uh federally funded programs. Um, yes, you have a lot that pay, but usually it's it's a lot lower than the forty to sixty thousand. [David] [01:58] There's a lot of people that have student loans on them. What I don't know what you're talking about. [Caller] [02:02] Yeah. Well, it's not the majority of college graduates uh tend to go to community college. The ones that actually graduate in terms of raw numbers. And and you know that the ones that go to community college in terms of raw numbers and get a degree are actually much in a much higher percentage they are getting jobs out of community colleges. And because they're they those programs are more reactive than some of the bigger institutions because they can they can get staffed in the proper way for the proper programs to adjust for what the job market demands. And right now, not only we are we seeing um good numbers in terms of a turnaround because we've been downtrending for a very long time. We're in a transitionary period for the workforce in the United States for the types of jobs. And this is something that you can't just distill down into, oh, people feel bad about it. Yes, okay, in the political environment, sure, people feel bad about it. They're going to go and they vote Democrats in. Okay, that doesn't defy the underlying economic. [David] [03:12] What is that what does that mean feels bad about it? [Caller] [03:15] Well, because if you're saying because anecdotally sentiment is down and I know that people are angry about this and there's a lot of people coming out of college that can't get jobs. Okay, show me the numbers then. Because what you're saying is [David] [03:29] How let me ask you a question. How are those polling numbers when people when they when pollsters call up people and it's five people and and only three pick up and then two give you the answer? Like this is the same you're playing the same game. [Caller] [03:40] No, I'm not playing the same game. [David] [03:41] I'm telling you that like I sit with friends and family and these are the discussions from hey, like just just natural discussions that happen. [Caller] [03:52] Yeah, you're talking anecdotal stuff. I'm talking about what's going on. [David] [03:55] Oh, so like they just they make them believe like these intelligent people that I'm around. [Caller] [03:58] No, it's anecdotal. It's anecdotal. [David] [04:00] Anecdotal doesn't mean it's made up. [Caller] [04:02] Okay, it's just anecdotal. [David] [04:03] It doesn't mean it's made up. [Caller] [04:04] One person said it, you know, just one person said it. [David] [04:07] No, it's doesn't mean it's made up. Do you not understand what anecdotal is? [Caller] [04:10] I understand English. I understand English. [David] [04:13] Jesus Christ. I understand English. I also understand the English that Trump uses, just like everybody else. And you know what? He hasn't delivered. [Caller] [04:23] I haven't said Trump once. I'm talking about real numbers. If you want to talk about the real. [David] [04:27] I started with Trump. I started with Trump and and and and when [Caller] [04:30] No, no, no. I was talking about economic data. You were talking about [David] [04:33] So Trump Trump has not delivered. The things that he's done that I've been happy about, but this pulling us into Iran and yes, again, I don't want to see Iran with a fucking nuclear weapon. But instead of focusing on American people here who are struggling, here we are. [Caller] [04:52] Cool. What has Congress done to codify any of the agenda? [David] [04:57] Say that again. [Caller] [04:57] What has Congress done to codify any of the agenda? [David] [05:01] What is Republicans? They control the House and Senate. [Caller] [05:04] I said what have they done? What have they done? [David] [05:06] Why not do the filibuster? [Caller] [05:09] What have they done to codify any of the agenda? [David] [05:11] Nothing. So like that whole message. He's he's backed all these people, so I don't want to hear it. You going to tell me he didn't back them? Because we can pull up the tapes. He's backed all these people. [Caller] [05:21] So you could be angry about the backing. Or would you rather be angry at them for not doing what they said they were going to do when they got into office? [David] [05:31] Well, don't back people that ain't going to do shit. [Caller] [05:33] How do you know what they're going to do? They're all lying sacks of shit when they get into to get into office. [David] [05:38] You look at their it's kind of like the way you run a business. You look at them six-month performance, they haven't done shit, fire them. [Caller] [05:43] How do you fire? You can't fire somebody that got elected in Congress. Sorry. [David] [05:47] Make sure that people make sure that people vote in the right person, man. I don't know. [Caller] [05:51] That's that's up to the people and your whole contention is that the people are going to fire them all and it's going to be Democrats. Okay, so there you go. You get your answer. [David] [05:58] The people are. [Caller] [06:00] I just the Republican Party to bring in Democrats, socialists to fucking come in here because they want something new and it's stupid because capitalism does work, but unfortunately, not in this era because everybody's too busy fighting. And guess who loses in that fight? The American people as always. Look, [David] [06:22] With the two parties fighting, the American people don't win. And this is why I talk about one day we will have somebody who comes into office that's a uniter. When Trump is sitting there and saying he's going to block bills from Democrats, great. This is this is awesome. That means I can't wait for the impeachments to start from the Democrats. I can't wait for the government not to work and more shutdowns and more people that even work for the government not getting paid. And I'm telling you, this is going to turn into that virus that is seeping into America, that that socialist virus, it will work out. A decade from now, people will get tired of this two-party fucking system and they will go there. And they'll they'll rename the DSA to some other shit. But it will go there. And you won't nobody will be able to stop it. You know what? I don't think people in England thought that this would happen. What's happening in England? I don't think people actually thought it would happen. But it happened. Slow and steady. [Caller] [07:26] You literally started the show by saying that socialism isn't going to work. [David] [07:34] And then when I listen to to you, right, respectfully, I say this. [Caller] [07:39] You know what? I'm done, dude. This is you misrepresented literally every point that I was trying to make. [David] [07:45] I didn't. We can play back the tape. [Caller] [07:47] Yeah, go play back the tape. Go rewatch it later. [David] [07:49] I said Trump has not delivered. [Caller] [07:53] You said I flip-flopped. No, I I said I was talking about economic data and you're the one that challenged that with anecdotal bullshit that you cannot present. [David] [08:03] So now anecdotal you said hold on. Hold on. First, didn't you say anecdotal is is is cool to go ahead and talk about or no? [Caller] [08:09] No, I said that anecdotal is something that is not you you are not utilizing data. [David] [08:14] You can't you can't you can't like that that people's feelings don't matter, right? [Caller] [08:17] You're using anecdotal experience. [David] [08:19] So hold on, people's feelings don't matter. [Caller] [08:20] That you talk about, but that is not what reality actually is. [David] [08:23] Are you getting angry with the fact that people's feelings are in play here and they feel like this? [Caller] [08:28] No, I'm not getting angry about that. [David] [08:30] So then then what is the problem here in the conversation? [Caller] [08:32] And you and you challenged it and you used anecdotal. [David] [08:34] I challenged it by saying that when you actually step out, get away from the numbers and go step into areas that you have people that have graduated from school, smart people. [Caller] [08:44] Cool. Tell me people with good GPAs that can't get a job. [David] [08:46] And data behind that and let's compare it to the official numbers. [Caller] [08:50] Let's compare it to official numbers. But let's not go out to actually let's not put boots on the ground. Let's just look at numbers. Let's not put boots on the ground. [David] [08:57] Like numbers don't lie. Like like let's not go out there state to state and like let's talk to people and actually have a conversation with them and hear how they're feeling. [Caller] [09:11] There's reality. There's perception and then there's reality. [David] [09:13] Hold on, so that's not reality that people are like you don't think people are actually trying to get a job. [Caller] [09:17] I'm not saying that people aren't. [David] [09:19] So then like I'm telling you, I've spoken to people and you're saying that you're like push that away. [Caller] [09:24] No, I'm not saying No, I'm not saying push that away. This is the problem that I have right now with what you're saying is you're misrepresenting what I'm saying. Tell me how [David] [09:32] Instead of actually talking about the core problem and actually what some of the issues are, where we are where we are actually we're aligned on all of this. The problem is is that you are using me as the speaker and you're misrepresenting what I'm saying. [Caller] [09:48] You wanted to go ahead and say that I flip-flop and I know exactly the panic and shit. [David] [09:52] You flip-flopped. I I don't I'm not flip-flopped. I'm telling you that it's not working out. Like all the promises are not working out. If they were working out, then we weren't we were going to hold the House and Senate if they're holding if if we're working out here. There's perception, there's reality. You can have things that you had things that were going well for Obama even in his second term when he lost the House. [Caller] [10:20] You know what? Obama in his second term was trash. [David] [10:24] Yeah, but you still had things you had do you do you know that more people made more money in Obama's second term than in his first, right? In terms of uh pay. Why was that though? What was the reason for that? You know, we can we can you can sit here and shit on Obama all all day long, but in his second term, more people job growth happened. We had more people made more money in aggregate in the underlying data, but he still lost. He still lost the House. Still had it still had Republicans come through and sweep. [Caller] [11:05] And then that led to a Trump administration. [David] [11:05] There's no reason there's no reason that Trump and that administration should lose the House and Senate. No reason. [Caller] [11:15] No, there is a reason, David. [David] [11:17] Especially if they delivered on their campaign promises, which obviously the obviously every there's no new wars, we're in a war. Right? That that's the people say that right away. In my arguments, when I try to defend Trump, he said no new wars. You're right. I don't think Iran should have a nuclear weapon. That's not our problem. Look, [Caller] [11:41] Job creation, it hasn't been seen yet. Doesn't matter what what numbers come out. [David] [11:48] They haven't seen them yet. [Caller] [11:50] Who? Who's they? [David] [11:51] The people that are voting for Mandani. The people that voted for Mandani did not see what has been stated. Like like it's very simple. They voted for them. They voted for these Democrats, socialists because they do not see any of this shit happening. They don't care about numbers on papers. They care about actually getting a job. Having capitalism work for them. It has not worked for them. That's it. It's it's that simple. You can we could talk about numbers on sheets all day long. It's the sentiment of the people outside of those numbers. There's a reason why they're going there. And they don't even understand socialism. Their parents probably ran away. [Caller] [12:33] What was it was it that was it that was it the free free free narrative? [David] [12:37] It's everything in combination. Trump's given away things for free now. That $5,000 dividend check. [Caller] [12:46] He hasn't given anything away for free. [David] [12:48] So hold on, that $5,000 dividend check, what is that? [Caller] [12:50] He's not given Look, I said this from the very beginning. It doesn't matter that none of it's happening. [David] [12:58] That it's a better way. [Caller] [12:59] You just said this earlier, none of it's happening. [David] [13:00] It's a better way, Landy, of putting he's bribing Americans to vote for the House and the Senate. Okay? Let's let's call it for what it is. No? A a dividend to the American people, I don't see as a bribe. I see as free with no strings attached. [Caller] [13:16] Well, if the Republican if we hold the House and Senate, we will send every American $5,000 dividends. [David] [13:22] Well, I know why he's saying that because of what they want to pass. Do I think that that's a bribe? [Caller] [13:29] It's on the [David] [13:30] You don't think that's a bribe? Like like can we take off the glasses and just like look at it? Because if it was Biden if it was Biden in office, we'd be saying it's a bribe. [Caller] [13:38] From the other side, right? So is it just bribes all around then? [David] [13:42] I think I think if it was Biden and the Democrats doing this, we would absolutely say this is what the fuck. [Caller] [13:47] The Democrats do it all the time. [David] [13:49] But we know that, but now the Republicans are on stage with it. [Caller] [13:52] Yeah, but you do realize that there's a fundamental difference in what they've proposed. [David] [13:58] Here's 5,000 as long as the House and Senate wins. And it's just constructed better. As as a businessman, he's constructing the wording around it better than the Democratic Party. [Caller] [14:08] No, he's constructing the actual revenue around it better because they the Democrats just offer it free and then they raise taxes. [David] [14:14] Okay, but did you and I agree with you, but did you see like the response to him saying $5,000 was my entire timeline when I said that, oh my God, the market's going to go on fire. They said, yeah, where's the dose checks? These are Republicans answering me. They they they're not Democrats. [Caller] [14:31] I've said I'd literally just said this. It's the same thing. It's doesn't matter. It's like Mandani saying free, free, free and now they still got to pay. [David] [14:38] But Al Boy hold on, Al Boy Trump is not Mandani though, right? [Caller] [14:43] It is the same thing across the board. [David] [14:49] Okay, let's bring in Rob. So it's 1:49 p.m. [Caller] [14:52] I'm getting frustrated with both of you now. [David] [14:54] No, it's just like I'm I'm speaking the truth and you just don't want to accept it. [Caller] [14:57] No, it's not it's not you're saying that I'm not going to accept it. [David] [15:04] How about this? How about this? My opinion on yourself rather than listening to me, you call me a flip-flopper when I'm I don't flip on anything. I'm just calling it as it is. If Bitcoin's at 77, is that 77? [Caller] [15:21] You were First of all, the flip-flop. [David] [15:25] It's like you want me to say if Bitcoin's at 77, you're trying to make me say it's at 80. [Caller] [15:28] When I when you said okay, first of all, roll back the tape and understand what I said. [David] [15:33] I will. I I understand English. You asked me if I understand English. I understand English. It is my second language, even though I was born here. [Caller] [15:38] I didn't say you said that. I did not say that. [David] [15:41] No, you you did say it. [Caller] [15:42] No, I did not. [David] [15:43] It's right it's right away when I go. [Caller] [15:46] Go back and roll back the tape. [David] [15:47] We will roll back the tape. You right away it's like you don't there's never never needs in a debate. We never need to go ahead and turn into like, oh, like it never needs to go there. [Caller] [15:57] I didn't do that. I didn't do that. And first I said that you flip-flopped. [David] [16:00] Go ahead and replay the tape. It's okay. I I can take it. I'm a big boy. [Caller] [16:02] You're too David, you're too in the zone to even understand what you were saying in response when I was talking about data. [David] [16:09] You're talking about data. You're talking about numbers on papers. I'm telling you about hitting boots on the ground and looking and speaking with people that live in reality. And living and actually observing their reality. [Caller] [16:26] And you're implying that one, I was being untruthful, two that I don't live in reality and I try and I'm trying to tell you that one, you're having a different conversation than what we were talking. [David] [16:35] Do you know what? When I drive to the Hampton, when I drive to the Hamptons, right? Like I can't like [Caller] [16:40] David, have a good rest of your show. I love you, brother. [David] [16:41] The conversation doesn't exist because everybody has money. [Caller] [16:43] David, have a good rest of your show. I love you, brother. Have fun talking to Rob. [David] [16:47] Okay. That's Landy, everybody. Let's bring in Rob now. [David] [16:53] Rob, what's going on, man? [Guest: Rob] [16:55] How are you, man? [David] [16:56] Good. Good. Can't complain. [Guest: Rob] [17:00] Yeah, well, that's a good place to be in this world right now because a lot of people can. I have to say, for once you and I agree. [David] [17:10] Which I don't agree. I don't know if we agree. I just made my point. [Guest: Rob] [17:13] No, no, I [David] [17:14] I made my current point. [Guest: Rob] [17:15] I see I see shades of this sometimes in you, but Landy and I love him, but he has full-on um TRS Trump rearrangement syndrome. Um, here's the thing. [David] [17:26] No, no, I let me say this. I think Landy. [Guest: Rob] [17:28] We've been talking. Let me just say back to you. [David] [17:29] Landy's a numbers guy. Landy Landy assesses everything on numbers. I take I take nothing away from him. My thing is that there's a different what I'm trying to explain for the last few months. There's a difference when you're sitting with people and you're having conversations and I'm a Republican and I'm trying to defend Trump and the administration, give him time. They're working. He got this a lot of shit I believe a lot of things were handed to him that he's trying to work out. That's all I'm that's where I'm coming from. I'm not saying Landy's wrong. Landy could be right in his assessment. Hear me out in what I'm just saying. That that's really it. Hey, listen, it gets into heated debates. People need to cool off, that's fine. I'm okay. You know? [Guest: Rob] [18:22] I'm just waiting till you want to hear my third view. [David] [18:24] Go ahead. Go ahead. [Guest: Rob] [18:27] Um, Landy is wrong in the same way that they were wrong with the with the with the Biden checks. Um, it's interesting. I've watched several people make the same argument that Landy made. And um, it's it's becoming Alice in Wonderland. Um, I watched a Republican Congressman on with Jake Tapper basically make the same argument, which is, no, what Trump's doing is different. As Landy said, well, you have to look at how it's being done. How it's being done? Biden offered a couple thousand dollar surplus checks. Yeah, but that was during COVID. Doesn't matter if it was during COVID. It was going to run up the debt a trillion dollars. Trump's offering $5,000 a person as long as the Republicans win the the midterms. I don't care about the bribe part of it. I don't care. You can condition it however you want. You're offering to pump the Both parties have literally lost all sense of There's no more fiscal responsibility in the American government on left or right. The the deficit, the debt is literally just jack it up as high as you want and each term, each new administration does it and claims they're doing something good and the previous ones did something bad. They're they're spending hawks when they're not in office and they're give out the cash when they are. There's no difference between Trump's $5,000 and Biden's $1,800 other than that Trump's is three times as big. And there's no way you can give people that money. And the the Congressman was like, no, but see, we're in a different time in terms of inflation and people really need the money right now. Well, that's what they argued during COVID. People really needed the money. Like, it's just it's not good for our You can't just give everybody thousands of dollars. You just running up the debt. You're just it's it's it's the same. I don't care which party's in office. And we've just lost all fiscal restraint. And it's an issue I battled for 25 years ago. [David] [20:21] Yeah, but you know what? My whole thing is like one thing that he did say, which I agree with like most of the things I agree with them on. It's it's been multiple administrations. It's not just Trump. It's multiple administrations that have printed money. Okay? Like it's not just on Trump, but the people don't see it that way. My whole thing is that it's perception. It's listen, people who are having a hard time, they're looking at it and they're saying, even if it started in the Biden era, they're like, it's Trump's fault. And when Trump campaigned on certain things and they're not they're not happening and then he's on TV saying like, you know, the war won't last more than, you know, like a lot of these things like we'll end like for instance, it's what I'm saying is the DSA has a good way of pushing shit. Okay, these new socialist, communist bastards have a way to push the narrative. And I hear it in talks like, okay, if I go to the Hamptons, nobody's complaining about gas, okay? Nobody in the Hamptons is complaining about any gas, okay? Or buying a car, nobody. But if I drive down to my hometown, where I was born, people are like, yo, I voted for Trump. Electricity's high. Like that like I got hit with that. Like electricity's high in their shops. Guys, wait, like he's working on it. Like that's all I'm trying to say. When you actually my whole message was when you go out and you sit with just like your friends and family and you listen to what they're saying, it's hard to defend. I'm a Republican. I'm a pro-Republican. But I can go ahead and say like, look, some of these things are just not happening. Long term, will this all play out in the benefit of the American people? Sure, I've been saying that for a long time. I've been saying that all the things that he's trying to do might play it out in eight years from now. And it might not even be Vance who's in office. Maybe after eight years of Vance, maybe under Rubio. If Rubio gets elected, maybe it's under him that everything starts to change, but right now, you have a Democratic Party that won't budge. You have a Republican Party that I don't know what the fuck we've done in the House and Senate. I really got to say that. We can't even pass. [Guest: Rob] [22:41] Can I interrupt you? Can I be part of this show? How about nothing? How about done nothing? And this is where the DSA has figured something out. And I've said it before, I'll say it again. The DSA is not attractive because most Americans, yes, a handful of cooks want to actually go socialist and throw capitalism under the bus. The DSA is attractive because they're doing what you said, which neither party has successfully been able to do. They are willing to talk to people with a element of truth that people respect. They are willing to say, this is your daily reality, and I hear you and I will address it. Trump says, you know what? I've done everything I'm sorry. I'm not a Trumper per se. I was supportive of him the first time and the second time. I'm glad he won both times. I hated Joe Biden and I last thing I wanted was Hillary Clinton for president. He's done a lot of good things. One of his weaknesses is, he has absolutely zero ability to ever acknowledge anything is anything less than perfect. I have done everything I said I would do as president. No, you haven't. And if you tell people that [David] [23:50] I can't believe I can't believe I'm going to fucking agree with you on on that. [Guest: Rob] [23:53] You have become Joe Biden. You've become Joe Biden. Everything is good. Bidenomics works. No, Bidenomics didn't work. I'd actually take socialism over Bidenomics, I think. That's how bad Bidenomics was. Um, and not telling people that, people are like, I know what's real in my life. I know what I'm experiencing. Sure, in the Hamptons. Sure, you know, in in wealthy enclaves. [David] [24:17] In wealthy areas, there's no problem. Like you're not going to hear this in Venice Beach and I mean like Malibu and fucking wherever, man. Like you're not going to hear all these things. You're not going to hear it in even in New York City, you're not going to hear much of it. You know, if you're fucking banking money, you don't really give a fuck. There are places around this country, you're not going to care. In Texas, you're not going to care. The cost of living is like, but there are people my whole argument is is that there are the reason why people are turning away from capitalism is because it's not working for them. And then they see people like Mandani and they're like, oh, like besides the free part, which we know is is bullshit. But they're like, oh, this might be another way. Okay, because this way is not working for me, so I'm going to go this way. That's all I'm saying. We have people that have been backed by Trump's administration in the in the Senate, they haven't done shit. In the House, they haven't done shit. Like they have not done nothing. Like nothing. In the I got to say in the beginning it was like, you know what? One thing I got to say is, and I don't give a fuck if you're a Democrat, Republican, whatever. You got to acknowledge that when Trump came in, he was on fire. Like I don't give a fuck how you can have TDS. You got to admit Trump was on fire, man. Holy shit. I was like, this is what I voted for. And it's like, we're going, we're going. It's like full steam and like, it's non-stop. People couldn't even keep up. CNN was talking about it. Uh what's her name? Uh Collins was saying like, I we can't even keep up. He's doing his thing. He's literally doing his thing. He had the Democrats. They didn't know what to say. That's why the Democrats went ahead and turned to something that now is eating them alive, which is the DSA, right? We got to paint this guy as a bad guy because we got nothing else to go on. Somewhere that stopped. And that stopped came, I'm telling you right now, that stopped came with the with the Iran operations and conflict. That's where this that's where all the good stuff that was happening, it stopped. And you know what? Yeah, we can sit here and all agree. Iran does not and should not have a nuclear weapon under no circumstances. They should ever have a weapon of mass destruction because they will use it on their own people and on everybody. They will end it. Okay? They will end it. Their neighbors tell you that. They don't give a fuck about life. That regime does not care. They've sponsored terrorism for decades now. They sponsored it. But we were on a fucking roll. We were on a roll. He was smacking NATO all around because NATO deserved to be smacked. They don't pay for nothing. We defend them. They didn't come along with us. Venezuela, I thought that was a great thing. I thought Venezuela was great. Especially for the United States since now we have oil reserves. From Venezuela, right? Cheaper oil for us to go ahead and manufacture. I'm saying it was great. It was a fucking great time because it was we finally have a leader. I still believe we have a leader. We have a leader. [Guest: Rob] [27:17] You're actually Well, you're agreeing with me and you don't want to, but I tried to say this weeks ago. This is all I was ever saying about Iran. Iran was not supposed to take six months. I agree with you. The goal was a good goal. The objective was a good objective. The intention was there and it was the right thing to do. They miscalculated how long, how resistant [David] [27:41] I don't know if it's miscalculations. I I don't know. [Guest: Rob] [27:43] Well, you know, you hate the word miscalculate because it suggests that people weren't thinking about this. When I say miscalculate, you can think about you can be the best quarterback in the NFL and you can you can miscalculate and take throw a pass you wish you could have back and do it again, which, you know, Drake May had all night on Wednesday. Um, it's it's it's a situation where they did not think Iran's regime would last this long, this decimated, this crushed and be able to be such a thorn in the side. And now they're trying to get out of it. It's not a war, it's a military conflict. It's just a skirmish. But the truth is, it dragged Trump off course. And to me, this is where he's not good at pivoting. He's good at where instead of going, huh, this dragged us off course. He's like, we're not off course. Everything's where it should be. And people are like, well, no, not exactly, actually. Things aren't where they should be for me. Things aren't what I need. And I'm telling you right now, and I put money on it and forget the prediction markets. I know they're not looking good for Republicans. I know Republicans lose the House. I don't care how much Trump goes out and rallies the troops because the the the the problem is, the numbers in the House aren't there and Democrats are feeling like the socialist cooks are feeling a wave of something. I'm actually really concerned that Republicans lose the Senate. And I think Michigan and Maine, I think there's an interesting poll I saw. More voters are voting for what's his name? I can't remember his name because the guy who came in Jackson who replaced Platner in in Maine, are not voting for him. They're voting against Susan Collins because she's the establishment incumbent. That's a scary sign when you have people going, I'm not voting for David Gokhshtein. I'm voting against Rob Nelson who's in office, right? They don't care who's fighting me. They care that it's not me. And in in Michigan, I think El Sayed is is incredibly persuasive and people are like, I don't care that he's a fucking, you know, Islamic socialist and, you know, basically wants Sharia law. Like, he's going to offer me that's going to be a tight race. But here's the one that I really think is interesting. Republicans are battling to win in Texas. And that's a scary sign. When you've got a guy who literally said capitalism sucks. Literally was like football's a bad thing. Literally has said more things about more things that go against what most Americans, much less Texans want, and he's competitive with with with Paxton. [David] [30:19] It's I've seen it. I mean like to me it's like [Guest: Rob] [30:22] And Paxton is a horrible candidate. I mean, his own party impeached him. Like he's a crook. He represents everything people are like, how do you have 15 houses and you're a you're a [David] [30:32] But you know what? Like it's you know, Landy said something here, which I can go ahead and use now. He said, you know, even though like I said like Trump's backed all these people and they haven't done anything. And like to me it's like, okay, what does it even matter if we we elect Republicans? Like I'm sitting back and thinking here like as you're talking like I'm like, what is the point of us even electing Republicans if they haven't done anything? Like why not use the filibuster? You know what's coming. [Guest: Rob] [30:59] Yes. [David] [31:00] Right? Yes. Why have you not helped the President of the United States of America hit the filibuster, which will help the American people and their agenda? [Guest: Rob] [31:09] Why why let me tell you why why This is a question I I want an answer for. Why? Why have Republicans not used the filibuster? Hey, you know if Democrats win control of the House and Senate, the Senate, that filibuster is in place in 15 minutes. [David] [31:24] 100%. That's what I'm saying. [Guest: Rob] [31:26] Why why are Republicans not doing? What's the I don't have an answer. Why are they not doing it? [David] [31:31] I don't either. I don't I am like sitting here and baffled by, guys, like do you understand what's coming? Like and and when Trump and Trump's begging for it. It's not like Trump is sat back and not not tried. He's like, use the filibuster, please. Like if if we did that if we did that, we would be in a like we would be in a they should have done it right away. [Guest: Rob] [31:50] David, we're smart guys. [David] [31:51] We're smart guys. We're smart people. [Guest: Rob] [31:55] We're smart guys. We're smart people. Why do you I have I'm trying to come up with an answer. I'll ask you first. Why have the Republicans not done the filibuster? Why? What's their what do you think the reason is? [David] [32:06] I don't know. I I honestly [Guest: Rob] [32:08] Well, you got to think you have a you must have some reason you think. [David] [32:12] Somebody's paid off. I I don't fucking know. I don't know. I I don't even I honestly, I'm not a stupid guy, but I don't have a fucking answer for it. I don't understand. These guys are like, this is I almost like [Guest: Rob] [32:25] I have an answer. [David] [32:26] Go ahead. Go ahead. Like I just like I don't have an answer for it. I'm just like baffled by it. [Guest: Rob] [32:30] I have an answer. The reason they haven't done it and it's what's to me the death shot is their primary goal is to keep the balance of power, the balance of power. They are scared if they use this that they undo the thing that the pact they've made for decades, which is as long as we keep those of us who are in power in power, we don't care what party you are. And once they do that, they weaponize that. Now, I do think Democrats will use it, but it'll take them time. The only reason [David] [33:03] Democrats will absolutely on the first day, Democrats will use it on the first fucking day and that's why I'm baffled by what is happening. And this is look, [Guest: Rob] [33:16] I'm not sure they will. [David] [33:18] They will. They all want to go. [Guest: Rob] [33:19] I know they're going to talk about it, but remember, they didn't use it when they could have before in the first round. [David] [33:23] They're they're going to use it. Make no doubt about it. They are desperate. Rob, the Democrats are desperate. They have no leader. They have no leader. When we talk about presidential candidates, they got none. You can tell me AOC all day long, not stop it, okay? They don't have. Gavin Newsom down on prediction markets, he's he's went from 21% as the nominee to 7%. On polling, 7%. They don't have anybody. They have nobody. They they right now their whole party, like if I'm if I'm in the Republican if I'm in the Republican Party, I'm watching, I'm I'm zooming out, right? And I'm saying, they're fighting right now. They're fighting within. They've created a monster that they can't control. Now they're fighting with it to destroy it, but they can't. It's the Democrats versus the DSA. [Guest: Rob] [34:23] So I want [David] [34:24] And they but the Republicans are like not taking advantage of this. [Guest: Rob] [34:27] Hang on. I want to point something out that I think people really rarely focus on. You said I'm going to zoom out. That to me is the fundamental biggest, most dangerous thing anyone can do when looking at politics. Politics is up close and personal. Taking a step back, looking at the big picture, rarely shows you anything because politics is the is a grassroots, ground level thing. The truth is, what's right up in front of you is what's real. Taking a step back from the monster that's about to eat you and look at the bigger picture of like, there's an actual sky beyond and an open forest and future is irrelevant. And the reality is why Republicans are going to get clobbered is too many Republicans are saying, let's look at the big picture of the Democratic Party. Most people are looking at the tiny picture of what's right in front of them. What's right in front of them is a party, a Republican party that has done nothing, a president who's saying he's done everything but hasn't delivered on what they want, and people on the other side telling them, I'll solve all your problems. And ridiculous, irrational, lefty crazy socialist fucking throw out capitalism doesn't matter. That's what people are focused on. Democrats are going to stomp on Republicans in the House and I'm really worried they're going to win the Senate. I'm I I think it's going to be tight, but I really worried Maine, Michigan, and even Texas should not be a battleground. And by the way, Trump put 10 million into Texas. The way it works right now, when you're buying ads, if you're the candidate, you buy them at the cheapest price that's available. If you're a pack, you pay market premium. So for Republicans to match what Talorico can Talorico's got about $30 million, $25 million. He can spend that money on ads and he pays dirt cheap. To match that, spend, Republicans because it's coming because Paxton doesn't have any fucking money. It's coming from outside in the packs. They're going to have to spend $100 million that they're not going to. This should not the fact that Texas is a competitive race for a guy who literally and by the way, I watched Talorico the other day. He's taken back all the things he said. Transgender, sports, capitalism, everything. All of it. He's like, you misunderstood me. I said it wrong. I said it out of context. I love God. I love the Bible. I love guns. I love America. I love capitalism. He's persuasive because people are like, huh, he keeps going every sentence he goes back to, but here's the reality. He's like, he's like David Gokhshtein in my head. He's like, people are suffering. Their food bills are too high. Their electricity's too high. Why aren't we focusing on that? And people are going to resonate with that. The fact that Texas is competitive is a fucking giant red flag. [David] [37:28] It really is. Texas is a red state and should never ever turn fucking blue. [Guest: Rob] [37:34] Competitive by a guy who's basically a Kami. [David] [37:37] Yeah, I I I I again, what I'm saying is these people are good at Democrats have always been good at delivering like the free message. Don't worry, things will be free. But that free has to be paid for by somebody. And then they realize like when Mandani went ahead and won, he's like he tried to apply that tax on everybody and then you had fucking pitchforks in front of uh, you know, city hall. Like what are you talking about? What are you doing, right? It's after they get in, now it's like, hey, like this free comes with a price for everybody. It's going to be an everybody thing, right? We'll all participate in this. And like people don't see it because they're looking for something new. That's why I'm like, my whole argument is when you you can look at numbers. We can we can look at numbers and numbers could be right. Long term, everything's going to be great. Great. But right now, right now, it's not great for people. It's not like not everybody's not everybody he's saying it's great. So that's that's really like that's really just my thing is just like, I believe Trump came into office and once the administration took over, we fucking were ripping. Listen, listen, stock market, markets are doing well. So like if you're in the markets, you have nothing to complain about. Markets are doing great. But at the end of the day, like not everybody's a trader. Nobody's nobody's investing or trading into into the markets. People are looking for jobs. People got laid off from the government, right? Those people who got laid off from the government, guess what? They went to the ballot box, right? And voted for the governor of Virginia, right? Democratic governor.
[Part 4 of 4] [David] [00:00] for her. And now she's gone back on her promises, right? All I'm saying is it people when they're desperately looking for a new direction and they're tired of being in the same shit, they don't care about what's going to happen long term. They care about what's happening now. That's all I'm saying. When they go, there are there are people that live in like New York City. Like that's what I'm going to go back to, the five boroughs. You know what? They make money, but it's not 150 grand is not even good enough for them. There are people that are making 150 grand. My my whole argument is, they're making 150 grand, they can't afford shit. And if they graduate from like an NYU, a Columbia, Pace, whatever, I can name all these. They have nowhere to go afterwards and they're sitting there paying fucking money on student loans. And they're looking and they're saying like, this shit ain't working for me. A lot of them voted for Trump. And now it's anti-Trump because you have people that woke left and woke right that are now pushing certain agendas. [Guest: Rob] [00:59] You got, he started off with a boom. I still support Trump. It's not the point of me not supporting Trump. It's me saying, and I've said this for weeks already. I hate the fact that Trump comes out there and when he sits down with these interviews, he says everything's great. It's not great for a lot of people. So you can say, please word it. All I'm saying is word it as, it's great. We're doing better than what we had under Biden, which is we can all agree, that's the truth. We're better than what we were under Biden. But there I can acknowledge there are still people out there that aren't thriving and we're going to make sure that that happens. We're going to bring them in and make sure that happens. That kind of messaging works. That message is what you should be talking on. [David] [01:44] I actually, I disagree. I think, but Trump doesn't care. Trump's and I'm, I think [Guest: Rob] [01:50] I disagree with that. I I think Trump does care about his legacy. He does want to go down. [David] [01:54] Hold on. I didn't say he doesn't care about what [Guest: Rob] [01:56] No, you just you're saying he doesn't care. [David] [01:57] You don't let me finish. You don't let me finish. [Guest: Rob] [02:00] I don't think he cares about what really he cares about his legacy. And for him, [David] [02:05] But his legacy is successful if he succeeds. [Guest: Rob] [02:09] His his legacy is successful if he can make an argument. This is the thing that fascinated me about the Bidens. When they left office, they managed to somehow pretend that they they were great and done everything right. Like there was like people are like, they must be so ashamed. I don't think Jill and Joe Biden go home at night and think, wow, we fucking failed. They're like, see, we did pretty good. Like the size of that ego. Trump says it every day. When Trump gets out there and says, I did everything I said and everything is great, and I'm your favorite president. I want you to make a pledge to me, your favorite, not your favorite, the best president in the history of America. He's telegraphing something more than just a a a trolling line. Very few presidents got what President Clinton got in 1994. The American people will forgive you if you say, you know what, we did a lot of things right. We missed a few things here. These are the things we missed for understandable reasons, and we're going to fix them, but I'm your best shot. People will vote for that. They will not vote for I did everything I said, everything's great when you're like, you didn't do everything you said and everything's not great. Now I'm voting for the other side. Tell me you're you're the best option out there to do what needs to be done and you I hear you. I hear you voters. You haven't gotten everything you expected. I'll I'll own that and promise you you will. That's what he needs to say and he can't say it. Clinton said that. It's why Clinton got reelected in 96 because in 94, when he lost the midterms, he literally did that speech where he said, I hear you and I missed the boat on some things and I'm going to fix it. And they reelected him in 96 even after he was impeached. [David] [04:00] I all I'm saying is people would appreciate when people come out and say, hey, listen, listen, there's a fucking problem. You know, like like if he would just say, we'll take care of everything. Like or or like like just like if I was the president and things are going great in my eyes. Like I'm looking at papers, right? And I'm like, okay, things are going good, but I see this right here, not so good. I'm going to address it. Guys, like I promised, like these things would happen. They are happening. It takes time. I know you're suffering. We'll figure it out. I I've come into a complicated situation. Understand that this takes time. I'm I swear to God, people would accept that. People would accept that answer. I would. [Guest: Rob] [04:48] Mhm. [David] [04:49] Hey, like I understand. Like and I'm going to show you how much we've done. [Guest: Rob] [04:51] I understand. I'm going to show you how much we're going to do better. We're going to solve these problems. Yeah. [David] [04:56] We'll go we're getting there, okay? I know we and I would address everybody this. I know you don't want us to go into Iran. I didn't want to go there either. Okay? That's that was not the first thing on my mind. Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you why we went there. We went there because they absolutely 100%, not because of Israel, but 100% because of our data, okay? Because of our intelligence, they were ready to go ahead and obtain a nuclear weapon. We cannot have a country like Iran who has dealt in funding terrorism, have a nuclear weapon and develop an army that is unpenetrable, okay? If it comes, you know, 10 years from now, you imagine if they it would be crazy. Iran would have So, as the president, if you addressed it that way, the whole nation understands, look, we don't want to be in war. We understand why we're there. [Guest: Rob] [05:44] But you're leaving one thing out in that and I agree with you. And this is the one piece that I think is essential. You have to be willing to say, we didn't do exactly what we promised or said or it didn't work out exactly the way we wanted it. Because if you can't say that, if you act like there was never a mistake, not like, listen, I'll tell you why we went into Iran and why you don't get why it worked out the way it worked out. No, you have or why the economy is what it is. You have to say, I get it. I hear you. And let me tell you, we did the right thing, but I understand that didn't work out exactly the way we wanted it and we're going to make sure it does. Trump would have to be able to say, we didn't expect this to take six months and suck up so much energy and fuck with energy prices. Now we're going to fix it and it's going to be okay. We didn't expect this to happen. You can't be like, no, it's exactly what we always intended and the war's over and it's not even a war, it's a military conflict and everything's good. People have a fucking thing called a bullshit meter. And their bullshit meters are on fire right now. And I'll tell you, hold on. [David] [06:47] Okay. Your TDS is kicking in. Your TDS is going. [Guest: Rob] [06:50] The reason why, let me land the plane. Let me land the plane. Let me land the plane. The reason their bullshit meters, if you want to know how high their bullshit meters are right now. All you got to do is look at who they're willing to elect. They are willing to elect people literally who say, America sucks. Let's have Sharia law. Hey, capitalism sucks. Their bullshit meters are so on fire that they're willing to literally elect a monster. If all you got to do is go, I hear you people. I hear you. I'm not bullshitting you anymore. I I get that you're not happy. I get why and I get we made some mistakes, but we did the right thing for the right reasons and we're going to make sure we finish the job. That's what you got to tell people. Not the front line isn't getting decimated. It is and we're going to win this war. You got to be willing to admit the part that hasn't worked. You can't just say, I hear your pain. You got to say, I understand I partly caused your pain. Clean landed. [David] [07:53] I I I I think you've obviously you didn't take your medication today, so No. [Guest: Rob] [07:59] No, you see you can't hear it. You can't hear the very truth that people want to hear. [David] [08:01] Hold on, hold on, hold on. Do not think for a second because I had a debate, a heated debate with Landy that I am not a Republican and I stripped down like my allegiance, like my my allegiance by the way is to [Guest: Rob] [08:13] Where did I take your allegiance? [David] [08:15] My allegiance, I just want to let everybody know, is to the American people. If I ever ran, it's even though I'm a Republican, it's to the American people. At the end of the day. [Guest: Rob] [08:22] I didn't take that away. [David] [08:23] Don't take advantage of that. Don't slither in Democrat here. Okay, don't take advantage of [Guest: Rob] [08:27] No, you see you missed the point. You missed the point. You're not a Republican. You're missing the point. [David] [08:32] No, no, you just hold on. No, you landed your plane. [Guest: Rob] [08:35] You think that not apologizing, failure, not getting there means you're [David] [08:39] I got we got three minutes. Let me land mine. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on, hold on. [Guest: Rob] [08:45] Wow. Wow. The logic ain't the math ain't mathing. [David] [08:49] Hold on. I my whole my only thing is, I understand how Trump speaks. People from the Tristate area understand how Trump speaks. Because that's how we speak in general. So when he says something, which is very blunt and straight to the point, it's a New Yorker. It's a New Yorker. We're just blunt and it bothers people. It can rub people the wrong way. And it's it's not to it's not purposely to go ahead and hurt somebody's feelings. It's just we're blunt. That's what Trump is. He's very sarcastic, he's blunt, straight to the point. He's not going to give you what I just told you, the whole entire explanation as to why. First of all, I don't agree with you when you say we miscalculated in in things in Iran. I believe that they have simulated that situation from administration to administration to where they knew exactly how this would all play out. Okay? Now, [Guest: Rob] [09:44] Then they lied. Then they lied when they said it was going to be four weeks. [David] [09:46] Jesus Christ. Let me land your plane. Can I land mine? [Guest: Rob] [09:49] No, but you you don't get to tell Biden lied. [David] [09:50] Can I land my plane? [Guest: Rob] [09:51] If they miscalculated, if they didn't miscalculate, then why didn't they say it was going to be four weeks? [David] [09:55] So hold on. Is everybody on my show are the people on my show the only people that can land the planes and I can't? Is this [Guest: Rob] [10:02] Then then they lied, David. I'm just going to ask you. Then they lied. [David] [10:04] They didn't lie. Hold on. They didn't lie. [Guest: Rob] [10:06] They said four weeks. [David] [10:07] The only thing that you can say that Trump, if somebody wants to say he lied on is that he said there would be no new wars. Or people would say that look at Ukraine and Russia. But like look at Ukraine and Russia. I could have told you, you got two madmen. You got Putin and you got Zelensky that they're they're never they're European blood. They're never going to give up. It no, no, hold on. Hold on before you answer. These two individuals, Zelensky and Putin are crazy. Putin's crazy. Zelensky is also. But Zelensky, man, he likes his position. Zelensky loves his position as president. Why haven't they had new elections? He loves this shit. Anyway, him saying that I understand, look, I understand why Trump said that he's going to end the war. I believe that he thought in his heart that he could end it. But you got two stubborn individuals there. I don't believe that he wanted to go to war with Iran, but he had no other choice. He's been saying this for 42, 47 years. [Guest: Rob] [11:05] I'm not arguing that. [David] [11:06] Hold on. He's been saying the same thing. Iran is a threat for seven what, over four decades now. He's been saying that. [Guest: Rob] [11:12] I'm not arguing this. [David] [11:13] We the West are the problem that caused Iran in general. So here we are. Trump comes in, he has the balls to come in. It's lengthy. It's taken time, but it's hurting it's hurting the Republican Party and it's hurting those who are who those people who are on the fence and those people who are Democrats who are like, yo, man, especially when I'm I keep saying this, when Trump came in, I don't give a fuck what anybody says, we were rolling. There was nothing the Democrats can do. They could only say that orange man bad. They elected the only solution they had was shut down the government. Do things to go ahead and make Trump look bad. You saw the fucking State of the Union speeches, we're not standing up, we're going to scream. We're going to act obnoxious. This is what the American people want. Vote for people that number one, just act act absolutely obnoxious as your representatives. Anyway, there's a bigger there was a bigger plan than taking away, uh, you know, nuclear weapons from Iran. You know, I I've told you this multiple times. China in play, taking China out because China went ahead while Biden was in office, besides the balloons going all over the place, spy balloons in America, they took over Venezuela basically. They took over the Panama Canal. They have Iran in their back pocket. Here comes Trump, he's like, no more Panama Canal, no more Venezuela and no more Iran. Because he wants to hurt China. Because China is, they can smile on our face, but they do everything, you know, they do they do their sneak job under the table. And that's the truth. So I respect Trump for that. But again, the perception is, most Americans don't understand it and they're like, man, we're at war. And I can't pay the bills and gas is high. And I can't get to work and now cost of living is high. So this is what's happening. [Guest: Rob] [13:02] Don't blame, don't blame most Americans by saying they can't. Hold on. [David] [13:07] Don't blame most [Guest: Rob] [13:08] Do not blame Americans for not understanding. Biden did that. Trump implies it. [David] [13:14] You're not hearing what I just said. Hold on. [Guest: Rob] [13:16] You know I heard the first thing you said. [David] [13:17] Most Americans, most Americans, most Americans don't understand. [Guest: Rob] [13:20] You're not. [David] [13:20] Hold on. No, no, most Americans don't understand how complex this our situation is because it doesn't just include taking away nuclear weapons from Iran. [Guest: Rob] [13:33] God, you can't let a person have a counter argument. [David] [13:36] Nope, because you're not going to use it. You're not going to use it to go ahead and say I'm calling Americans. [Guest: Rob] [13:40] I actually, I'll play the tape back because you did it for me. You just reiterated. You said most Americans don't [David] [13:45] I said it's too complex. It's too complex because most Americans see it for what it is. The perception is we're at war, gas prices. [Guest: Rob] [13:50] Don't. Do you want to know, do you want to know how to guarantee the Republican Party loses everything? Is doing what you're doing. You know what? This is just too complex for most. [David] [14:01] We got three minutes left. Three minutes left, so speed it up. [Guest: Rob] [14:04] So how about give me 30 seconds to finish a thought. [David] [14:06] Go ahead, go ahead. [Guest: Rob] [14:07] Tell people that they don't understand how complex this is and you don't get the real thing we're doing here is the worst thing you can tell voters. It's a basically a very underhanded way of saying, you're just not that smart. And I'll tell you something. You're right. Most Americans don't understand complex foreign policy objectives. They don't understand the complexity of anything that happened in the Cold War. They don't understand the complexity of what happened in between World War I and II. They don't understand the complexity of post 9/11, neo-com. They don't. Because they don't give a fuck. Most Americans understand one thing. I am electing you to run this country and make my life work the way I want it to work. And if you run on America first and promising me certain things, I don't need you to tell me there's a whole complicated strategy that I can't understand, but one day my kids will. I didn't elect you for that shit. I elected you to do what you said. And if if President Trump and the Republican Party can't stand up and go, you did and we didn't fully deliver, but we are delivering and we will deliver and we will deliver way better than them. If they just go, no, you just don't actually see it. They are going to lose 10 times worse than I think. People may be dumb, but they know what their best interest is. And their best interest is not a complex long-term future thing with China. It's electricity, gas, food food prices, health insurance, quality of life. [David] [15:35] And and and their only hope for that is if the Republican Party can go ahead and get things done. And on that, um, and I'm being serious. The only hope for that is having the Democrats in office in both the House and Senate and not uh the other side because all we're going to get with the Democrats [Guest: Rob] [15:52] Before we go, we have a minute. What's your prediction market? What do you think? Do you think Democrats win the House? [David] [15:57] I I think they're on uh, you know, I thought that the Republican Party would probably sweep the Senate and House. My line of thinking was that of about a month or two ago right now with everything that's happened with AOC not endorsing, like Hong, with her, you know, Democrat. So I I thought, you know, and the in-fighting. I was like, you know what, this looks like the Republicans can come in and like fucking take them out. But now it's just like I I don't know. I I see the Democrats winning. I mean like yesterday watching some of the clips of Trump [Guest: Rob] [16:28] What about the Senate? [David] [16:29] I think the Senate might go too. And but you know what? They had and the Republicans will regret the fact that they had all the opportunity to use the filibuster to get their agenda done. [Guest: Rob] [16:40] And didn't use it. [David] [16:41] And they didn't use it. And that honestly, it was not Trump's fault. It's not Trump's fault because if Trump had the power, he would have done it, right? But he's begging these Republican these the Republican Party, he's begging them. Pass it and they would do nothing to do it. They did absolutely. It's almost like it's almost like they're, you know, they're an extension of the Democratic Party. [Guest: Rob] [17:03] They are. That was what I was trying to say. They are. They're one and the same. Trump is not literally part of that fabric. They are one and the same. And they both do the same thing. [David] [17:12] They did a horrible job and and there's a bunch of Republicans there that I don't know. They they just remind me of an extension of the Democratic Party and they did everything possible or they're doing everything possible to go ahead and absolutely, you know, hurt Trump. So it is what it is. You know, that that's A lot of them still don't like Trump. It it just shows. If they like Trump and they understood his agenda and they could they had some sort of foresight, they would have, you know, done the filibuster. It's crazy that Trump is trying to implement things that would help our country long term and we have Republicans that refuse. I I'm fuck the Democrats. We already know where they stand. But when your own party, when your own party just does not want to pass through bills that would help Americans, you already know where we stand. This is all people are owned by big companies and they're making sure that those positions don't change. And that's bottom line. So, uh, thank you, Rob. Appreciate you coming on. Uh, and I will see you next Friday. [Guest: Rob] [18:12] Or Wednesday if you come on my show. [David] [18:13] That's right. That's right. [Guest: Rob] [18:14] If you decide are you afraid to come on anymore? [David] [18:17] I'm not afraid. I I'm back. [Guest: Rob] [18:20] Come on, make a commitment right here in front of God and the and the audience that you'll come on next Wednesday. [David] [18:25] Let me go read the book of Moses right now. The book of Moses. Let me go ahead and read that. [Guest: Rob] [18:27] No, no, come on. Can you commit? [David] [18:30] Can you come on on Wednesday? Will you come on my show? [David] [18:32] I will I will come on on Wednesday. [Guest: Rob] [18:34] Appreciate it. Thank you, Rob Nelson. Appreciate you. [David] [18:38] Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the breakdown. Episode 782. Shit, we had heated discussions here. I'll replay the tape. I don't know. If whether I was right or wrong, I'll replay it. I'm I'm one that is humble enough to go ahead and admit when I'm right and wrong and that's no problem. But like I am as everybody else on my show is entitled to their own opinions. I will never go ahead and take that away from them. Um, but I I I just I I know from so many conversations that I've had recently, dollar checks, dividends, potentially going to people, um, if the House and Senate is kept by the Republicans as Trump mentioned, so many Republicans and Democrats started saying like, what are you fucking talking about? Where's the dose check? That's a wake up call. That's the pulse of the street. That's like those aren't those weren't those are people, these are people that are commenting that I've had conversations that voted for that voted for Trump that are making these comments. So like it is what it is, man. It is what it is. Uh, Shana Tova to everybody. Happy New Year to to all the Jews out here in these streets. Uh, Rosh Hashanah. That's basically what we're alluding to. I love Rosh Hashanah. Rosh Hashanah, New Year and then it leads into Yom Kippur, which is like, you know, you fast and observe. It just it's weird how that's conducted. I have to talk to the Jewish council about that. Um, it is 2:34. It's Friday, September 11th and again, um, much respects, much respect goes out to, um, individuals that obviously lost loved ones in 9/11. This country, it hurt, it hurt when that obviously it hurt dearly when that should happen. Uh, but today's a today we remember those that lost their lives and, you know, really sucks, man. Never again, right? Never never again, never forget kind of thing. Never forget, never forget. All right. 2:34. I watched some of the I was I was looking at FOMO. I was looking at the FOMO chart. Man, god damn it, you guys are brutal, man. I got to tell you, you guys are savages. You guys are absolute savages. I don't I don't I just don't understand it. I I give up. You guys win. I don't know. I I am definitely not I am definitely not going all out on something that I'm just market participating on. This is crazy, man. This is wild. To to watch this, this is absolutely trash. But on that note, Thank you all for tuning in. Thank you for everybody for tuning in. We'll be back 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. We'll have guests on. We'll go ahead and chop it up. Talk about the markets, we'll talk about AI, talk about even some sports. Um, I'll be I might make an appearance on YouTube today. I said I'll be doing YouTube, you know, at least twice a week. Uh, obviously I was sidelined, but I'm back. Uh, we'll get back to YouTube and we'll break down everything that's happening within the crypto markets. Uh, we'll break down everything that's happening in Robin Hood, on Solana. Who wins, Robin Hood or Solana? I'll try to look also at things that are currently trading cool and good right now. I'm going to look at the latest runners. So anyway, thank you very much, guys. On that note, have a great day and even better tomorrow. And shout out to Akil Patterson.
