RWA Summit Draws 1,200 as Institutional Tokenization Grows

SINGAPORE — RWA WEEK Singapore 2026 concluded Oct. 9, establishing a critical convergence point between traditional finance and digital assets. The five-day event series drew more than 1,200 attendees, including over 60 speakers and 200 investors, signaling sustained institutional appetite for real-world asset tokenization.

The flagship RWA SUMMIT at Marina One West Tower moved discussions beyond early-stage experimentation toward practical deployment. Two dedicated stages—the RWA Stage and PayFi Stage—hosted sessions on tokenized financial products, stablecoin adoption, secondary market development, and institutional participation in decentralized finance.

Key topics spanned infrastructure development, regulatory frameworks, and the intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology. Speakers included Yat Siu, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Animoca Brands; Chetan Karkhanis, Senior Vice President of Digital Assets at Franklin Templeton; Charles d'Haussy, CEO of dYdX Foundation; Angela Ang, Managing Director and APAC President of BitGo; and Andrew McCormick, Head of Institutional Market Development at Chainlink.
