U.S. Bitcoin ETFs captured $304.73 million in net inflows from Oct. 19 through Oct. 23, reversing the prior week's $229 million outflow and signaling renewed institutional demand.
The flow pattern exposed tactical positioning across three sessions. Monday saw $526.60 million pour in, followed by $23.16 million on Tuesday and a heavy $528.40 million on Wednesday—crossing $1 billion in cumulative inflows within three days. Thursday's reversal was sharp: $635.49 million exited, the largest single-day outflow since June 25, with an additional $137.94 million departing Friday.
BlackRock's IBIT dominated, capturing $675.96 million of the week's gains. The concentration underscores IBIT's lead in institutional Bitcoin accumulation. Competing products bled capital: Fidelity's FBTC lost $84.80 million, Ark 21Shares' ARKB shed $99.64 million, and Grayscale's GBTC exited $51.86 million.
Monday's buying concentrated in IBIT alone. By Wednesday, capital dispersed across eight Bitcoin ETF products—a broadening that signaled growing institutional conviction before the late-week dump.
Ether ETFs continued to bleed, posting $220.60 million in outflows for the fourth straight week. Monday and Tuesday saw $103.28 million and $26.13 million leave, respectively. Wednesday briefly reversed with $14.96 million inflows, but Thursday's $110.50 million exit wiped the gains. Friday added just $4.35 million back. The Ether trend remains decisively negative.
Altcoin flows showed selective strength. Zcash (ZEC) ETFs reversed course with $41.09 million inflows after the prior week's $19.15 million loss, with Wednesday through Friday generating nearly $50 million across three consecutive sessions. XRP ETFs ended with $4.26 million in net inflows. NEAR added $5.22 million despite its first outflow on Tuesday. Hyperliquid's HYPE token remained under pressure, losing $15.22 million.
