Three whale addresses moved 24,454 ETH—valued at over $60.68 million—from centralized exchanges to on-chain protocols, with funds split between Ethereum staking and Aave's lending pools.
Address 0x4A85 withdrew 10,954 ETH ($26.97 million) from Kraken and deposited the full amount into Ethereum staking. The address had been inactive for four months before the transfer.
Address 0xdeA6 moved 9,000 ETH ($22.42 million) from Binance into Aave's ETH pools, increasing available liquidity for borrowing.
A third address, 0xD338, withdrew 4,500 ETH ($11.29 million) from Binance approximately ten hours ago. Its destination was not disclosed.
The staking deposit by 0x4A85 locks 10,954 ETH into consensus, accruing staking rewards while removing the capital from liquid circulation. Aave's ETH pools now carry an additional 9,000 ETH available for borrowing, affecting both TVL and borrow rates on the protocol.
The outflows reflect an ongoing pattern of whale addresses exiting exchange custody for direct protocol participation and yield generation.
