Comcast Corporation reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.07 for Q3, beating analyst estimates of $0.98. Revenue came in at $29.30 billion, also topping the $29.14 billion consensus.

Peacock delivered the surprise: adjusted EBITDA of $261 million crushed the $183.9 million estimate by 42 percent. This is the inflection point investors have been waiting for. The platform is proving it can generate real cash flow without sacrificing subscriber momentum.

Revenue miss tells the story. Peacock's top line was $1.82 billion versus the $1.88 billion estimate—a deliberate trade-off. Management optimized for profitability over revenue growth, prioritizing higher-margin subscribers and pulling back on low-value content spend. That's exactly what Wall Street demanded, and Comcast executed.

The wireless segment added 368,000 lines, slightly below the 392,375 projection. A minor stumble in a portfolio with much bigger tailwinds.

Comcast shares closed up 1.3 percent at $38.47—a muted reaction to a beat-and-raise quarter. The market is pricing in Peacock's profitability, but not the strategic inflection: a $50 billion media asset now printing cash instead of burning it. Watch for activist pressure or a spinoff discussion. At current multiples, that EBITDA inflection is not fully valued.
