Real-world asset platform tx launched USTX, a new dollar stablecoin, on Oct. 20, 2026. The token is designed for tokenized stock settlements and trades within tx's wallet and planned marketplace for tokenized assets.
Fintech platform Brale issues USTX, manages reserves and handles minting and redemption. Users deposit USDC from eight blockchain networks—including Ethereum, Solana and Base—to mint USTX, which they can redeem back to USDC.
Each USTX token maintains a 1:1 reserve backed by $1 in assets: cash, bank deposits, government money market funds and short-term US Treasury bills. Ashley Ebersole, tx's co-founder and chief legal officer, stressed that USTX is not a USDC wrap. "It is not a USDC-backed wrapper or synthetic representation of USDC," Ebersole said. "USDC serves as the minting mechanism, but USTX maintains its own 1:1 reserve structure through Brale."
Brale has prior stablecoin infrastructure experience. In June, the company announced a collaboration with Visa to enhance speed and programmability of blockchain-based stablecoin settlement in environments requiring strong privacy and compliance controls.
Tx plans to offer rewards to eligible USTX holders through its wallet programs, operating within constraints of the GENIUS Act, a stablecoin law signed in 2025 that prohibits issuers from paying interest or yield solely for holding a payment stablecoin. Ebersole said the rewards program was "designed based on legal advice to ensure it falls within what's permissible under the law."
The eight-chain deployment and Treasury-backed reserves position USTX to compete for users seeking stable liquidity across tokenized securities and settlement infrastructure.
