AIsa has closed its seed extension round with Tether and HIVEN as strategic backers, pushing total funding past $9 million.

The new capital joins an existing syndicate including Alibaba, Tribe Capital, Sumitomo Corporation, Draper Associates and Saison Capital. AIsa builds infrastructure enabling enterprise AI agents to discover, access and pay for resources globally.

"Enterprise AI agents need trusted information, useful tools and a governed way to transact," AIsa founder and CEO Jordan Liu said in a statement Friday. "Our vision is to build the infrastructure that enables agents to discover, access and pay for resources globally, while giving enterprises full control over permissions, spending and transactions."

The company's core product—branded the Trusted Resource and Transaction Network for Enterprise AI Agents—centralizes resource discovery, access and transactions into a single governed, usage-based network. It connects enterprise agents to external data, AI search capabilities, models, APIs, software tools and industry-specific services.

The network layers integrated usage metering, billing and settlement on top of governed access controls, giving enterprises granular visibility into agent permissions, spending limits and transaction flows. This solves a critical operational bottleneck: enterprise AI agents currently struggle at scale due to fragmented providers, complex integrations and disparate billing systems.

Tether, which recently reported $1.5 billion in net operating profit during Q2 driven primarily by interest income from U.S. Treasury holdings and repurchase agreements, has emerged as an active strategic investor across infrastructure and fintech ventures.
