Binance's Bstocks—tokenized U.S. equities trading around the clock on blockchain rails—hit $1 billion in assets under management in four months, the fastest any tokenized equity product has reached the milestone.

The product launched June 11 with five assets. By Oct. 15, Binance had expanded the catalog to nearly 100 tokens. Cumulative trading volume exceeded $40 billion over the four-month period, averaging more than $300 million per day. On-chain data from Dune Research confirmed the AUM figure.

Investors converted $6 billion between direct stock positions and Bstocks at full 1:1 parity, a signal that crypto holders actively prefer the tokenized format for its liquidity and composability.

Shunyet Jan, head of exchange and trading at Binance, said the product's value extends beyond passive holding. "Bstocks trade around the clock, get used as collateral, move between self-custodial wallets, and convert 1:1 into direct stock holdings," Jan said. "Today, more than a billion dollars of that is held on Binance, and it's being used, not just held."

On-chain integration reveals aggressive capital deployment. Bstocks deployment across decentralized finance platforms reached 11.2 percent of total value locked by early October, outperforming comparable tokenized equities by nearly four percentage points. Outstanding borrowing against deposited Bstocks collateral climbed 8.4-fold to 46.2 percent by Sept. 10, up from 5.5 percent at the end of June—a sign traders are leveraging these positions hard.

Binance extended collateral support to all eligible retail users, allowing them to use supported Bstocks tokens as margin and futures collateral for up to 5x leverage, amplifying both opportunity and risk.

End-of-July data showed 58.5 percent of early Bstocks investors also traded perpetual futures or direct equities on Binance, indicating Bstocks adoption is building on existing exchange activity rather than pulling in entirely new users.

The 24/7 trading advantage is clear from volume patterns. During July, only 38 percent of Binance Bstocks trading volume occurred during standard U.S. market hours, a stark contrast to nearly 90 percent for conventional equities. This reflects genuine demand for overnight and weekend execution.

Industry-wide on-chain transfers of tokenized stocks surpassed $100 billion in the third quarter of 2026, a 16-fold increase from $6 billion in the first quarter. Bstocks accounted for over 90 percent of weekly transfer volume at its peak in early August. Total market capitalization for tokenized equities quadrupled to exceed $3 billion by late September.
