XRP whales moved 1.669 billion tokens to Binance over the past 30 days, the highest inflow to the exchange in seven months. The transfer coincides with XRP trading near $1.33 after October weakness.

Cryptoquant data, reported by Arab Chain, tracked the cumulative XRP transfers from large holders into Binance. At $1.33 per token, the 1.669 billion XRP represents approximately $2.22 billion.

This whale deposit surge exceeds a roughly 1.65 billion XRP inflow recorded in September. That earlier level saw a subsequent decline before the metric rebounded above the threshold in recent days.

Whale deposits to centralized exchanges don't automatically signal imminent selling pressure. But increased inflows raise the amount of XRP available for trading, heightening the risk of sell-offs if liquidity dries up.

The Binance activity reflects broader exchange XRP holdings. XRP Insights data as of Oct. 15, 2026 shows publicly attributed exchange wallets control 22.06 billion XRP across 699 wallets at 24 different exchanges. That represents roughly 22.1 percent of XRP's maximum 100 billion-token supply and about 32 percent of circulating supply.

Upbit leads all exchanges with 6.44 billion XRP. Coinbase holds 5.84 billion XRP, Binance 2.76 billion XRP, Bithumb 1.85 billion XRP, and Uphold 1.75 billion XRP. These five exchanges collectively manage 18.64 billion XRP—nearly 85 percent of all publicly attributed exchange balances.
