Bybit Co-founder and CEO Ben Zhou announced Oct. 12 that the exchange is launching U.S. stock trading for eligible users, offering access to more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs tradable in USDC.
The platform supports fractional shares and operates 24/5 across U.S. pre-market, regular and after-hours sessions. Bybit will enable round-the-clock conversion between eligible stocks and tokenized versions (mStocks) on Mantle, with those mStocks tradable on decentralized exchanges via automated market maker liquidity pools.
Converted mStocks can be transferred into Bybit's Unified Trading Account for use as trading collateral. Bybit became the largest crypto CFD provider after launching contracts for difference in 2022, reaching $100 billion in peak trading volume.
In June, Bybit introduced IPO Express, allowing eligible users to access selected initial public offerings at offering price using tokenized representations. The service launched with SpaceX.
Bybit's combined traditional finance offering now spans over 600 products across equities, ETFs, indices, commodities and FX. Its TradFi perpetuals have recorded more than $180 billion in trading volume, with recent additions including Forex Perps.
