Michael Saylor, executive chairman of MicroStrategy, said Bitcoin will move above $100,000 and grow "20 to 30% a year" long term. He described the recent bottom as "slightly below 60,000" and said Bitcoin will "march forward from here."

Saylor co-founded MicroStrategy, a business intelligence and cloud software company that became a prominent corporate holder of Bitcoin under his leadership. The company began acquiring Bitcoin in August 2020 as a treasury reserve asset. MicroStrategy's public filings show it holds over 250,000 BTC, making it one of the largest corporate owners of the digital asset.

Saylor's track record of early and aggressive corporate adoption of Bitcoin gives his views significant weight in the crypto market. He has consistently advocated for Bitcoin as a long-term store of value and an inflation hedge, influencing institutional investors and corporations.

Bitcoin traded below $70,000 for several weeks following a rally that took place after the January 2024 approval of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the U.S. Those spot ETFs have attracted billions in inflows over two years, solidifying Bitcoin's position in traditional finance portfolios.

Bitcoin's price movements often correlate with broader macroeconomic factors including inflation and interest rate policy from the Federal Reserve. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index currently stands at 57, indicating greed in the market. Bitcoin is holding above the $60,000 level.
