Yield Basis's impermanent loss-free automated market maker now dominates Bitcoin decentralized exchange liquidity. Since its launch in September 2025, the protocol has generated over $2.28 million in realized BTC and ETH-denominated gains for liquidity providers.

These gains are measured as the net difference between deposited and withdrawn assets for LPs who opted to receive native yield. The design enables productive capital deployment without the typical impermanent loss risks of traditional AMMs.

Yield Basis targets wrapped native assets such as wrapped Bitcoin alongside tokenized real-world assets including commodities like Gold and Silver and equities like NVDA. Historically, these assets have faced barriers to on-chain adoption due to impermanent loss, shallow liquidity, and the absence of native yield generation.

The protocol's architecture functions as both a yield and liquidity infrastructure, establishing secondary markets for assets that typically lack deep on-chain liquidity. Asset issuers can earn revenue directly from providing liquidity, shifting from market-making subsidies to yield-generating capital deployment.

LPs holding these assets can access yield opportunities and use generated returns as collateral for other DeFi positions, increasing capital efficiency across the ecosystem.

Yield Basis's rapid growth in BTC DEX liquidity reflects demand for more efficient capital deployment. Its impermanent loss-free structure provides a competitive edge against existing AMMs that expose LPs to price divergence risks.
