Samsung is raising U.S. prices on its Galaxy S26 lineup by up to $200, effective Oct. 1, citing rising component costs and competitive positioning in a market where Apple has already hiked iPhone prices.

The standard Galaxy S26 will start at $1,000, up $100. The S26 Plus moves to $1,200, also up $100. The S26 Ultra base model rises to $1,400, up $100. The 1TB S26 Ultra configuration carries the steepest increase—$200—and now lists at $1,999.99.

Lower storage tiers see proportionally smaller adjustments, but all S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra configurations are now more expensive.

Samsung's foldable lineup—Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8—keeps existing pricing unchanged. The divergence signals that Samsung sees more pricing power in the flagship candybar segment, where it faces direct competition from Apple's Pro models, than in the foldable category.
