U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds saw net inflows of 628 BTC, equivalent to $53.48 million, on Sept. 30, extending their winning streak to eight consecutive days.
Over the past seven days, Bitcoin ETFs accumulated 8,716 BTC, representing $742.56 million in net inflows. Ethereum ETFs, by contrast, registered a $15.31 million outflow on Sept. 30—5,621 ETH—though they remain positive on the week with $260.19 million in inflows (95,515 ETH).
On Sept. 29, Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $66.2 million while Ethereum funds shed $2.8 million, according to Farside Investors data.
The divergence reflects institutional preference for Bitcoin spot vehicles over Ethereum products. Bitcoin ETFs have dominated flows since launching in January 2024, with Ethereum spot funds following in May 2024.
