Pump.fun liquidated 47,994 SOL worth $5.83 million, bringing cumulative SOL sales to 5,236,623 tokens valued at $848 million since launching in early 2024.

The Solana memecoin launchpad generates revenue through a 1 percent fee on token launches and trades. Total protocol revenue has surpassed $1 billion, with much of the 2025 accumulation driven by memecoin activity.

Rather than holding SOL, Pump.fun converts its treasury systematically through batch sales typically ranging from 50,000 to 130,000 SOL. On-chain data shows an automated operation—the average liquidation price across all recorded sales is approximately $162 per token. Notable past transactions include 132,935 SOL for $13.75 million and 77,705 SOL for $7.88 million.

Pump.fun introduced its native PUMP token in July 2025 with an integrated buyback-and-burn mechanism. Under this structure, 50 percent of net protocol revenue is allocated to purchasing PUMP tokens from the market and removing them from circulation. Approximately $457 million has been deployed for buybacks and burns to date.

This creates a two-track revenue strategy: half of income converts to stablecoins or fiat via SOL liquidations, while the other half supports PUMP's token economics through supply reduction. Pump.fun remains one of the largest consistent sellers of SOL on-chain.
