Aave V4 launched its Equities Hub on Base on Sept. 25, enabling eligible non-U.S. users to borrow USDC against tokenized U.S. stocks issued by Coinbase.

The initial asset set includes Apple (AAPLc), Amazon (AMZNc), Alphabet (GOOGLc), Meta (METAc), Microsoft (MSFTc), Nvidia (NVDAc), and Tesla (TSLAc). Chainlink provides on-chain price feeds for collateral valuation.

The market caps the aggregate stock collateral at $29 million, with a $32 million USDC supply cap and $21 million borrowing cap. Collateral factors range from 65 percent to 79 percent by asset, determining maximum USDC borrow amounts.

Aave pools all stock collateral into a shared USDC market while implementing separate risk parameters per asset. Tokenized stocks function solely as collateral; users cannot borrow them directly.

Future hub expansions, subject to governance approval, may add more Coinbase tokenized stocks and introduce GHO, Aave's native stablecoin, as a borrowable asset.
