Digital asset exchange-traded funds collectively recorded over $660 million in net inflows on Friday, Sept. 18, with Bitcoin ETFs capturing the dominant share at $433.03 million.

Fidelity's FBTC led purchases with $310.72 million, followed by Blackrock's IBIT at $108.44 million. Bitwise's BITB, VanEck's HODL and Ark 21Shares' ARKB combined for $14 million, bringing total Bitcoin ETF inflows to more than $433 million for the session.

The strong buying coincided with Bitcoin climbing back above $80,000 after a week of volatility. Daily trading volume across Bitcoin ETFs jumped to $4.67 billion, pushing net assets for the category above $102.53 billion—a daily increase exceeding $7 billion.

Blackrock's IBIT ranked fifth among all ETFs by volume on Friday, surpassing the gold ETF GLD. The positioning signals renewed institutional appetite for Bitcoin relative to traditional safe-haven assets.

Ether ETFs registered $143.80 million in net inflows, resuming capital accumulation after a pause. Blackrock's ETHA led with $114.32 million, followed by Fidelity's FETH at $26.24 million. Trading volume reached $1.88 billion, with net assets climbing to $16.72 billion.

Solana ETFs attracted $47.62 million in inflows, entirely through Bitwise's BSOL fund. The Zcash ETF market, recently established, drew $37.67 million to Grayscale's ZCSH, lifting ZEC net assets to $914.53 million.

XRP ETFs were the sole category to record outflows. Franklin's XRPZ drew $1.52 million inflow, but Bitwise's XRP fund lost $1.56 million, resulting in a combined net outflow of $43,700 against $52.55 million in daily trading volume.

On-chain data supported institutional accumulation. The entity-adjusted SOPR—a metric tracking profit-taking behavior—remained above 1.0, indicating that underlying demand is absorbing selling pressure from investors realizing gains. This ratio suggests the market structure is absorbing profit-taking without capitulation, a bullish signal for sustained institutional inflows.
