The No. 21 Oregon Ducks delivered a dominant 84-0 victory over Portland State on Friday in Eugene, setting a new single-game scoring record at Autzen Stadium. The previous mark of 81 points was set in 2023 against the same opponent.
Oregon's offense was exceptionally efficient, scoring touchdowns on its first eight possessions and converting 12 of 13 total drives into touchdowns.
Quarterback Dante Moore led the first half, throwing four touchdown passes to four different receivers on 19 of 23 completions. He connected with Dakorien Moore for a 45-yard touchdown and Evan Stewart for a 39-yard scoring strike in the first quarter. Running back Jordon Davison rushed for two touchdowns and 81 yards in the first half.
Oregon outgained Portland State 405-32 in total yards by halftime and 723-103 by game's end. The Ducks averaged 9.4 yards per play compared to the Vikings' 1.6.
Backup quarterback Dylan Raiola, a transfer from Nebraska, completed all 11 of his pass attempts for 124 yards and three touchdowns. Messiah Hampton caught two touchdown passes, one each from Moore and Raiola in the third quarter.
Portland State quarterback Gabe Downing completed 8 of 20 passes for 101 yards and three interceptions, two picked off by Oregon freshman safety Jett Washington. The Vikings fell to 0-4.
Head coach Dan Lanning achieved his 50th career win at Oregon with the victory. The Ducks improved to 2-1 and extended their winning streak in nonconference home games to 40 consecutive victories. Oregon is 10-0 all-time in Friday night games, with four of those wins under Lanning.
Portland State's loss extended its losing streak against FBS opponents to 20 consecutive games, the last win coming in 2015 against North Texas.
