Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Sept. 16, his second consecutive week of full participation after missing the season opener.

Penix Jr. shared first-team work with Cooper Rush, who also participated fully. The Falcons have not announced their starting quarterback for Week 2.

Penix Jr. tore an ACL in Week 11 of the previous season. He was a 2024 first-round pick and is in his third NFL season.
