Oasis Pro Markets, the SEC-registered broker-dealer subsidiary of Ondo Finance, joined the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation's Fund/SERV network on September 16, marking the first tokenization firm admitted to the network.
Fund/SERV operates as the operational backbone for the U.S. fund industry, linking fund companies, wealth platforms and service providers. The integration allows Ondo's tokenized funds to access the same distribution partners already operating on Fund/SERV, eliminating the need for individual custom integrations with each platform.
Historically, the absence of a standardized pathway has slowed tokenized product distribution. While building a tokenized fund is now straightforward, listing it on wealth platforms previously required months of custom engineering for each deal. Fund/SERV membership removes this hurdle for entities collaborating with Oasis Pro.
This development follows expanded regulatory authorizations for Oasis Pro Markets. On July 23, the subsidiary secured expanded FINRA and SEC approvals covering tokenized corporate equities, ETFs, mutual funds and IPO-linked securities. These approvals permit Oasis Pro to serve U.S. retail investors, not solely institutions, and enable OTC retailing, underwritten primary offerings and private placements.
The DTCC is simultaneously developing its own tokenization service, expected to launch commercially in October, positioning the clearinghouse as both a facilitator of existing market infrastructure and a developer of competing digital asset rails.
Tokenized real-world assets on networks like Stellar have grown substantially. The market climbed 360 percent in 2026, reaching nearly $4 billion in value, driven by issuers including Spiko, Franklin Templeton and Ondo Finance.
