Robinhood Chain's total value locked has climbed to nearly $1 billion since launch on July 1. Daily DEX volume reached $1.88 billion on Sunday, according to on-chain data, with the chain now accounting for more than half of all Uniswap volume.

StoneX analyst Mark Palmer identified four drivers of this growth in a client note Monday.

First: Robinhood's brand strength, amplified by the CASHCAT token's viral run after CEO Vlad Tenev followed its social account.

Second: the chain's permissionless design. The on-chain launchpad Pons facilitates roughly 10,000 token launches daily, peaking at approximately 25,000 on Sept. 2.

Third: gas incentives. Robinhood subsidizes fees for wallet swaps exceeding $5, lowering friction for users.

Fourth: a memecoin-equity flywheel. Long.xyz, a token launchpad on Robinhood Chain, enables community tokens to launch paired with HOOD tokenized stocks. Interest in memecoins drives demand for tokenized equities; the presence of stocks gives memecoins a financial narrative, sustaining activity in both.

Robinhood Chain's user base remains primarily crypto-native. Estimates show Robinhood app users account for only one to two percent of Chain transactions, with most activity originating from trading terminals, Uniswap, and launchpads.

Stablecoin market cap on Robinhood Chain crossed $1 billion last week, a 12 percent increase week over week and 72 percent surge over one month. USDG comprises 67 percent of total stablecoin market cap on the chain, with Ethena's USDe following at 30 percent.
