U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reversed course last week, logging $463 million in net outflows from Sept. 7 to Sept. 11—the first weekly withdrawal in four weeks, according to SoSoValue data.
Ark 21 Shares (ARKB) led the exodus, shedding $234 million despite maintaining a $1.22 billion historical inflow total. Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) followed with $129 million in weekly outflows, reflecting its $27.78 billion historical net redemption since converting to an ETF.
Morgan Stanley ETF (MSBT) was the lone bright spot, pulling in $19.6 million to bring its cumulative inflow to $529 million.
Bitcoin spot ETFs collectively hold $97.58 billion in net assets, representing 6.28 percent of Bitcoin's total market cap. Since January 2024, these products have accumulated $55.15 billion in net inflows.
The outflow reversal signals a potential shift in institutional positioning as Bitcoin trades at $77,529, up 0.5 percent over 24 hours. Meanwhile, spot Ether ETFs bucked the trend with $197 million in inflows, extending their streak to four consecutive weeks. Spot Solana ETFs added $10.3 million, and XRP ETFs recorded $18.98 million in inflows.
Ethereum trades at $2,511, down 0.4 percent, while Solana sits at $100.92 and XRP at $1.37.
