Streamer Kai Cenat lauded Philadelphia 76ers superstar LeBron James this week, highlighting James' responsiveness and demeanor during an appearance on the New York Times Popcast.
Cenat said James replies to his texts within the same minute or within the first five minutes every time. He described James, his wife Savannah, and his kids as very nice people.
Cenat, 24, is the most-subscribed and most-followed live streamer on Twitch, often attracting an audience of more than 100,000 viewers.
Their connection began when Cenat appeared on "Everybody's Crazy," a podcast hosted by Savannah James. This led to Cenat inviting James onto his own stream. James made his first appearance on Cenat's stream in September 2025, when he cut Cenat's hair to commemorate the streamer reaching one million subscribers.
Cenat first met James at Team USA's Las Vegas training camp before the 2024 Paris Olympics. James has since appeared on Cenat's streams twice.
James, 41, is preparing for a new phase in his basketball career. After spending eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, he signed with the Sixers this offseason.
James is a 22-time All-Star, four-time NBA champion, four-time NBA Finals MVP, and four-time regular-season MVP. He holds the title of the NBA's all-time leading scorer. His stated goal is to lead Philadelphia to its first NBA title since 1983.
