Beckham Returns to Giants for Week 1 vs. Cowboys

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. returns to MetLife Stadium as a New York Giant for the first time in a regular season game, facing the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night in Week 1.

Beckham, 33, last played for the Giants during the 2018 season. He told ESPN on "NFL Live" that being back with the team and city that gave him his "first taste of the NFL" feels special.

"My heart flutters a little bit just thinking about it," Beckham said. He described MetLife Stadium as a "special place" to him, acknowledging the love he has received.

Beckham said he intends to "give my all to this organization, this city" and expressed gratitude for the opportunity. He highlighted the fans as his primary source of excitement, saying he wants to "give them everything that I got" and aims to "bring Giants football back to where I feel like it belongs."

His previous tenure with the Giants saw him catching passes from quarterback Eli Manning. For this return, Beckham will play for quarterback Jaxson Dart alongside receivers Malik Nabers, Darnell Mooney and Malachi Fields.
