Pump.fun's mobile application was pulled from the US and India iOS App Stores, confirmed by the platform's Mobile App lead. The company expects to restore access swiftly.

Pump.fun is a Solana-based launchpad that lets users create and trade new tokens instantly. Tokens can graduate to decentralized exchanges like Raydium for deeper liquidity and broader market exposure.

Launched Jan. 19, 2024, by Noah Tweedale, Alon Cohen, and Dylan Kerler, Pump.fun became the primary vehicle for Solana memecoin creation. Over 6 million memecoins launched on the platform by January 2025.

The platform generated nearly $800 million in revenue since launch. Its July 2025 initial coin offering raised $600 million from a public sale in 12 minutes, plus $720 million from private investors, giving the company $1.3 billion in total holdings. In November 2025, Pump.fun converted $465.5 million into USDC after its native PUMP token dropped more than 25 percent.

Pump.fun's decentralized exchange volume exceeded $2 billion in Q1 2026, underscoring sustained activity in Solana memecoins despite a high token failure rate. Most tokens launched on the platform never reach the market cap or user traction needed for major DeFi listings.

Known as ground zero for memecoin launches, Pump.fun lets users create tokens instantly and free. The platform's interface mirrors 4chan's imageboard layout, with token listings arranged in a catalog and accounts identified by Solana wallet address or chosen nickname.

Pump.fun is defending a class-action lawsuit. Thousands of internal chat records are under court review as part of the proceedings.
