Netflix raised subscription prices across all tiers in Germany and Austria by €2 per month, effective immediately.

In Germany, the ad-supported tier rose to €6.99 from €4.99. The Standard plan increased to €15.99 from €13.99. The Premium plan—offering 4K and 3D sound—climbed to €21.99 from €19.99 in both markets.

The increases affect roughly 18 percent of Netflix's EMEA subscribers. Citi projects ARPU will rise 24 percent in Germany and 15 percent in Austria, with company-wide ARPU climbing approximately 1.5 percent.

Citi maintains a Buy rating and $100 price target on Netflix (NFLX). The stock closed Friday at $82.67.

Some financial upside may shift into 2027 due to regional consumer protection rules that phase in price changes over time. Netflix has used pricing adjustments historically to fund content investment and service expansion.
