Tokenized stock activity on-chain exploded over the past month. Monthly transfer volume climbed 415 percent to $29.5 billion, according to RWA.xyz.

Active addresses rose 209 percent to 1.3 million. Tokenized stock holders jumped 167 percent to 2.36 million.

Total value of tokenized stocks distributed on-chain hit $2.54 billion over 30 days—a 637 percent surge from $344 million a year ago, with acceleration notably in August.

Securitize Corp. leads individual tokenized stocks tracked by RWA.xyz at $163 million in value. Strategy PP Variable xStock follows at $136 million, and an Ondo-tokenized Circle Internet Group token accounts for $109 million.

Ondo dominates by platform with $842.8 million in distributed value. Kraken's xStocks holds $609.3 million and Binance's bStocks represents $599.9 million. The three platforms control roughly 81 percent of total market value.

Coinbase launched tokenized U.S. stocks on Base on Aug. 24, enabling eligible non-U.S. users to trade around the clock and integrate them into decentralized finance applications. Users can hold B20 tokens for Nvidia, Apple, Meta and Alphabet in self-custody wallets.

Bitwise rolled out automated portfolios built from Coinbase tokenized stocks on Aug. 25, allowing eligible non-U.S. investors to follow preset strategies while maintaining self-custody. Initial offerings target the Magnificent Seven, robotics and artificial intelligence sectors.

Bybit added tokenized shares of Nvidia, Apple and Tesla as collateral for margin loans in July. Robinhood-backed decentralized exchange Arcus launched over 95 stock tokens and perpetual markets on Robinhood Chain.

The expansion reflects growing demand for 24/7 trading access and on-chain utility. Tokenized equities now function as collateral, portfolio components and self-custody assets across multiple platforms.
