A digital billboard in Greenock, Scotland has been showing a Debian 11 login prompt for several weeks following the collapse of 75Media, the outdoor advertising firm that operated it.

75Media, a major UK outdoor advertising company, ceased trading at the end of 2025. The shutdown left the digital asset without active management, leaving the Debian 11 operating system visible on the display.

The billboard's 1,200-by-320-pixel resolution is typical for outdoor advertising but makes the exposed terminal interface particularly visible. A Google Street View image from 2024 showed the billboard operating normally, with signage identifying 75Media as the operator.

Responsibility for the billboard likely passed to a liquidator or acquiring advertising agency after 75Media's collapse. The ongoing login prompt underscores operational challenges when digital advertising assets change hands or owners wind down operations without proper asset transfers.
