Ether.fi has expanded beyond liquid restaking into tokenized asset trading, Aave-integrated borrowing and fiat accounts, positioning the protocol as a broader on-chain financial hub.

The platform now supports trading in tokenized stocks, tokenized metals and crypto assets. Users can borrow against their full digital asset portfolio through a dedicated Aave market, giving self-custodial holders a direct line to established lending liquidity without bridging out.

Fiat accounts support more than 30 currencies and payment rails, letting users send and receive traditional currency globally from within the same interface.

Tokenized stocks and metals are not available to U.S. users, reflecting jurisdictional restrictions on digital securities offerings.

The Ether.fi DAO has approved a proposal to allocate up to $50 million in treasury funds to buy back ETHFI tokens when the price trades below $3. ETHFI holders govern protocol decisions and treasury management.

Ethereum trades at $1,880.
