Trump Media & Technology Group has signed more than 10 customer agreements for its new Truth API service, which launched this month. The paid data feed offers financial firms real-time access to posts from Truth Social's most-followed accounts, including President Donald Trump's commentary, which often moves markets.

The Truth API minimizes notification delays for subscribers, providing a raw feed of posts that typically carry split-second lag times for general users. Access to the platform's top 10 trending accounts, including Trump's, costs between $60,000 and $100,000 per month.

High-frequency trading firms are among the initial subscribers, with at least five firms signing up since the service launched. These firms are paying for speed, recognizing the potential for market shifts driven by presidential communications.

Trump frequently uses Truth Social to share new policies and significant announcements before official White House statements. He has used the platform to adjust tariff rules, announce military actions and telegraph future foreign intervention plans. These posts regularly move markets.

One example came in July when Trump encouraged the public to "go out and buy" a Dell computer during a White House event. Dell Technologies' share price climbed nearly 8 percent following that comment. Trump had purchased at least $1 million worth of Dell stock starting in February, roughly a week before he began promoting the company.

Truth Social was established primarily as a platform for Trump's commentary after his removal from Twitter in 2021. New accounts created on the site automatically follow Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and other prominent figures.

The White House has denied that Truth API creates conflicts of interest for the president. Trump Media said Truth Social posts remain publicly viewable at the same time for all users regardless of subscription. Subscribers gain notification speed, not exclusive content.

The sale of accelerated information raises questions about fair access to market-moving data. Critics argue that paying for faster notifications creates an uneven playing field for market participants.

This new revenue stream diversifies Trump Media's business model beyond advertising and subscriptions. The interim CEO reported the more than 10 customer agreements on Aug. 10, 2026, signaling a new growth catalyst for the Nasdaq-listed company (DJT).
