NEW YORK — NYSE Group President Lynn Martin said the U.S. initial public offering pipeline is at its strongest point in 18 months, reflecting a rise in companies preparing to list shares after a slower period in global capital markets.

Martin, speaking on Insight with Haslinda Amin, said she sees building momentum for companies going public. She told Yahoo Finance she expects a favorable environment for forthcoming IPOs.

Recent notable listings include Chinese humanoid robot maker Unitree, which priced its IPO at a $9 billion valuation. Chinese AI supplier Zhongji Innolight completed a $6.8 billion IPO in Hong Kong in July, while fast-fashion retailer Shein continues its multi-year IPO process. Reformation made its NYSE debut in July.

Some consumer companies are opting to remain private for extended periods, bypassing the traditional public offering route. J.P. Morgan expects India's IPO activity to increase in the second half of 2026, signaling regional growth in new listings.

The New York Stock Exchange has supported IPOs and innovated in capital markets for more than 220 years, positioning it as a central venue for companies seeking to raise public capital globally.
