Black Lake Digital Markets introduced Harbor Verify on Aug. 6, 2026, a browser-based tool designed to independently confirm that each loan within a tokenized pool meets its established eligibility criteria—without requiring access to private borrower data.

The tool lets investors, lenders, auditors and rating agencies verify loan provenance and compliance directly on-chain. Harbor Verify converts traditional compliance checks into cryptographic proofs, removing reliance on private data rooms and third-party attestations that have historically added friction and cost to tokenized credit transactions.

Initially, Harbor Verify focuses on tokenized mortgage loans, giving institutional investors a method to confirm that assets adhere to published eligibility rules while preserving borrower data privacy.

The system establishes a reusable verification standard that can apply to real-world asset tokenizations beyond mortgages. Black Lake plans to open Harbor Verify to external issuers and extend its application beyond residential mortgages, integrating new asset classes onto the Provenance blockchain.
