Aaron Donald, 35, recently completed an official workout with the Los Angeles Rams, and his return to the NFL appears possible after two seasons away.

Donald currently holds the fourth-best odds to win the 2026 NFL Comeback Player of the Year award, sitting at +800 on bet365. He has not yet officially rejoined the Rams roster.

Three quarterbacks lead him in the current odds. Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes leads the field at +185. Mahomes is recovering from a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee suffered last December.

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels holds +425 odds. Daniels missed significant time last season due to injuries. Kyler Murray, now with the Vikings, is listed at +550. Murray missed the final 12 games of last season with a foot injury. The Cardinals released him this offseason, and the Vikings subsequently added him to their roster.

Donald has strip-sacked Mahomes twice in previous matchups, adding a layer to their current competition for the award.

Despite a two-year layoff, the betting market expects Donald to return as a force on the defensive line.
