UFC 331 is set for Sept. 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, headlined by a flyweight title rematch and a five-round lightweight co-main event.
Flyweight champion Joshua Van will defend his title against former champion Alexandre Pantoja. The UFC announced the full card Wednesday via social media.
Van, 24, holds a 17-2 record. He captured the 125-pound title last December at UFC 323, stopping Pantoja — who carries a 30-5 record — by first-round TKO after Pantoja suffered an arm injury 26 seconds into the fight. Van, a native of Myanmar, then defended the belt in May, stopping Tatsuro Taira via fifth-round TKO in a bout considered a fight-of-the-year candidate.
The co-main event is a five-round non-title lightweight bout between No. 2-ranked Arman Tsarukyan and No. 7 Mauricio Ruffy. Tsarukyan, 29, from Georgia, holds a 23-3 record. He withdrew from a lightweight title rematch against Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 in January one day before the event due to a back injury sustained while cutting weight.
Ruffy, 30, is a Brazilian fighter with a 14-2 record who has gone 5-1 in the UFC since his 2024 debut.
Additional bouts include heavyweight prospect Gable Steveson — a 2020 U.S. Olympic gold medalist — facing Sean Sharaf, a lightweight rematch between Renato Moicano and Brian Ortega, and a featherweight bout between Patricio "Pitbull" Cruz and Dooho Choi.
