Uniswap launched pools.trade, a memecoin launchpad on Robinhood Chain, shortly after 5 p.m. ET on Aug. 5. The platform opened four hours and 39 minutes after its publicly advertised countdown expired.

The highest-valued token listed on pools.trade is FRONG, minted on July 30 — six days before Uniswap publicly teased the launchpad. FRONG traded at $0.0121 as of 6:56 p.m. ET on Aug. 5, up 31.9 percent on the day.

FRONG carries a fully diluted valuation of $12.1 million, backed by $1.1 million in liquidity, according to Uniswap's index on pools.trade. The token recorded $20.6 million in 24-hour trading volume and $60.96 million in cumulative volume since launch.

The token drew 172,694 buy transactions from 12,206 unique wallets and 152,183 sell transactions from 10,942 wallets. FRONG currently has 12,141 holders.

Uniswap Labs said in its announcement that "Pools is built by Uniswap Labs," but also said it "has not independently reviewed or verified any token or project displayed" and that "the appearance of a token does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, or solicitation."

On X, Unisw Pools is "intended for memecoins: speculative, highly volatile assets that can go to zero."

The launch slipped after a 24-hour countdown Unisw on X at 12:31 p.m. ET on Aug. 4. Hayden Adams, founder and CEO of Uniswap Labs, posted about an expected one-hour delay just before the countdown expired, citing server issues.

The FRONG token contract, 0x6245…0c47, is a verified ERC-20 with a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens. It was created at 20:16:59 UTC on July 30 in block 23,595,790 on Robinhood Chain, with its Uniswap v4 pool established in the same block.

On-chain data shows the token was minted by a verified contract, UERC20Factory, at 0x000000e2…d49b. That factory contract, along with another named LiquidityLauncher, was deployed by an unidentified wallet, 0x32f4…07aD, in early July — weeks before FRONG's appearance and the Uniswap countdown.

Uniswap described allowing creators to buy in the token's creation block as a sniping mitigation measure to prevent early buyers from front-running new token launches.

Robinhood Chain, originally designed for real-world assets such as tokenized equities, has drawn significant memecoin activity. Uniswap has facilitated approximately $12.8 billion in volume on Robinhood Chain over the past month, making it the protocol's second-largest market behind Ethereum.

More than 340,000 tokens have launched into Uniswap pools through Robinhood Chain launchpads, generating $3.6 billion in trading volume. Roughly four-fifths of Robinhood Chain's DEX volume originates from memecoins.
