A hearing on discovery in the case had been scheduled for Tuesday in U.S. District Court's Northern District of California. The settlement renders that hearing moot.
The agreement covers all litigation between the parties, including the Pac-12, the Mountain West and the new Pac-12 members. Specific terms were not disclosed.
The settlement clears the way for the Pac-12 to fully integrate its new members and removes a significant hurdle for the conference's long-term stability. The Mountain West can rebuild its identity without the burden of ongoing litigation.
The resolution was reached ahead of the 2026 college sports season.
